Twitter, Facebook, Libya, Illegal Combatants and Acts of War

With the rush to foment revolutions via Facebook and Twitter in North African nations the ramifications of the globalization of sedition, civil wars joined by anonymous posters and several other questions have not been sufficiently addressed for public clarification.

Revolutionaries may conspire to revolt against a government without even forming a guerrilla army then appeal to the International community to borrow sufficient military services to bring off their revolt by wire desire. Secretary Gates probably rightly said that it would be an act of war to force a NO Fly zone over Libya that the rebels have asked for. It would also bring the United States into a troublesome legal and moral situation regarding its own right to try illegal combatants especially when they are snared from foreign nations not at war with the U.S.A. such as Afghanistan of 2001-2011.

France has recognized the Libyan Revolutionary Government diplomatically, and may thus provide weapons and foreign legion military assistance if asked with a more or less legal or logical basis. Or alternatively, must one recognize the recognition of a revolutionary government as an international crime?

One wonders what sort of crimes and protocols might be addressed by International Convention to classify the Internet, global structuring of terrorist, seditious and civil war revolutionary activity. Would it include those offering just moral support, or must they provide some sort of material assistance to actual casualty causing events?

Would foes of the United States or NATO receive different legal justice than those seeking support from the United States or European Countries in overthrowing any given nation?

There are many existential questions regarding the right-to-revolt and the right-to-war that have developed from Twitheads and Faces potential awaiting booking by Danos of jurisprudence. Giant Internet waves of populism or sponsored populism from Chicago to Cairo and Tripoli or even Teheran may enact militancy that crosses the boundaries of politics throwing perplexing legal questions into the fan of nationalism. The moral right may be a smirking confidence some elitists hold, yet it seems that like NPR as a perceived perpetrator of biased propaganda manipulating public opinion, the ability to shape and compel opinion may become a mob rule way of life instead of plain and simple equal justice for all.

PNAS Publishes "Climate forcing due to optimization of maximal leaf conductance in subtropical vegetation under rising CO2"

This interesting article published in the proceedings of the national academy of sciences details alterations of plant structure in a world atmosphere comprised of increased levels of CO2. The article abstract relates that "plants reduce the diffusive stomatal conductance of their leaves (gs) dynamically by closing stomata and structurally by growing leaves with altered stomatal densities and pore sizes."

It may be obvious to biological scientists that human global warming caused by greenhouse gassing and CO2 emissions would accelerate select evolutionary challenges and responses to more volatile bioforms such as plants, yet for most of the scientifically uniformed the assumption is that CO2 adaptations would be mostly limited to a vanished Arctic ice cap, polar bear that aren't good enough swimmers being too lazy to swim better than whales and increased gasoline prices because politicians aren't rational enough to increase offshore drilling all along the Arctic ocean shore and out to 400 miles with subsurface robotic drilling.

NPR Foundation President Schiller Denounces Tea Party As Racist

NPR Foundation's senior executive President Ron Schiller was recorded on a video denouncing the Tea Party as made up of seriously racist people. The implicit bias of NPR is not news to most Americans who realize that their objectivity and professionallism went the way of the buffalo long ago.

The frontiers of freedom may be in decline nationally along with federal fiscal integrity. Over population and under utilization of god-given resources of intelligence bring the U.S.A. to a lemmingway globalism fueled by media controlled by leftists, rightest and immoderate evil empires everywhere.

We learn that Moammar Khadaffi secretly supported revolutionaries against the Shah of Iran, the Israel provided American anti-tank weapons to Iran to defend against Iraqi tanks, and that Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowsky believes increased oil drilling to deplete Alaska's paltry remaining oil reserves within ten years is a rational policy to bring down gasoline prices and increase global warming.

Plainly NPR's federal funding should be eviscerated because they are awash in big bucks-even the PLO or Hamas wanted to give them five bills (million dollar ones). NPR didn't even cover the moose being tasered and beaten by a gang of alleged police persons-they don't deserve tax dollars.

Politician Arrested Brandishing Balanced Budget Plan ©2011GaryCGibson (fiction)

A U.S. Congressman brandishing a balanced budget plan was surrounded by capitol security forces early this morning at the reflecting pond. Raving about tax increases and spending cuts, construction of an I-10 electric highway development and a Mexican border control canal the Congressman presented a danger to business as usual.

Negotiators talked the congressman down and brought him to surrender after Officers of the Deficit Disorder Komiteh standing just across the district border lured the representative into a security net with succulent chunks of promising pork.

Writhing in the net the Congressman yelled that he had video of a Moose down on Pennsylvania Avenue being tased and beaten by Capitol Police. Then he yelled that Albert Pujols is worth 150 million for four years and the President of the U.S.A. just 2.

On Values-A Reply on the Subjective Nature

I thought I would reply to your comment, and clarify my ideas about the topic a little. There is much ambiguity in language-while in philosophy one tries to reduce that and develop meaning and expression concurrently.

Of course that is rather ambitious, for language is designed with analogy and association of terms of approximation of meaning quite as much as with application of labels directly to objects.

Anyway, I felt that values and value theories are designed by intelligent beings who assign whatever values they have when it is useful. Human beings as part of the Universe too, cohere within whatever primordial value the Universe has for itself. If they represent portions or forms of it as of more value than other aspects of it, so it is.

It is not certain that values are accurately assigned either. Monty Hall's TV show 'Let's Make a Deal' had contestants giving a value more to one curtain rather than another two to choose from fundamentally for no reason. One may be wrong in valuing select political candidate during an election over others, and one may be wrong in valuing fossil fuels very highly-enough to buy stock in Exxon, if in the near future an inventor discovers how to make some sort of environmentally benign room temperature liquid hydrogen fuel or some such concoction to replace petroleum fuel.

If there is any intrinsic value to anything I am not sure that humanity can best rely upon their own judgment for determining what the absolute good is. Of course I mean that as a Christian believer, in that none would perhaps be cognizant of God or of the need for salvation without an element of donated grace from God.

If there is any intrinsic worth to nature I guess it might be in the functional context in that it supports life, and in the more basic context in that God made it, therefore it is good.

Of course many unbelievers would not agree with that point, yet I shall allow them do develop their own points regarding the fundamental worthlessness of everything that exists unless it has some immediate utilitarian function, or even hedonistic application.

One might find a primordial good in virtually everything-yes, even in Arizona or in Petersburg Alaska when one cannot find a job. Sunsets and sunrises, birds flying through raindrops glistening with sunshine streaking through clouds in powerful rays; these are valuable things for-themselves even though the car dealer devalues them as causing mud to be splattered on 2011 vehicles waiting for sale. Values are not simultaneously appreciated by all people with equal weight, and thus the supply and demand functions of Smith's capitalism bring changes as volatile as human nature to a market, while the long-term construction of the concentration of wealth continues as long as the construction of the state and market equally build, refine and direct investment to the basic parameter; the national interest.

On The Universal Spiritual Apartheid of Islam

This brief essay is not a book review. I have drawn several ideas from reading a book published in 2010 and brought them into a comparative political analysis. Primarily I find the rhetoric from the U.S. Government generally deficient in detail on numerous issues, and the broadcast media usually runs toward the existential rather than the analytical even if with an imperial twist. Thus I found some little humor in comparing elements of Iranian and U.S. politics.

There I was just browsing the shelves when an interesting book named ‘The Persian Night’ Iran Under the Khomenist Revolution appeared virtually asking to be read. The cover had a photo of a properly bearded President Aminedinijab (his father changed the family name to that from something like Saberin because it denotes Islamic faith) speaking above a black space denoting the eclipse of Persian heritage. So thus it was I began reading 1001 interesting facts about Muhammadannism aka Islam I did not know.

Congressman King of New York has started an investigation of Muslim radicalization in the U.S.A. He could spare himself the trouble though; real Muslims share many of the same goals of the New World Order.

1) Muslims are globalists. They don’t recognize boundaries for Allah or Islam. The ayatollah Khomeini descried Iranian nationalism. Nationalism thought he is an invention of the west to be gotten rid of. Global corporatists have the same opinion about financial and trade boundaries.

2) Common folk are animals (aka consumers). Muslim mullahs do not believe in democracy and have an obligation to take care of the stupid. Democracy, believed Khomeini, does not work. Like retarded children, widows and orphans that every Mullah must be a guardian for, the people or demos cannot run its own affairs and require an enlightened theological despot favored by God to keep them from drowning in the pig sty of social confusion. Many corporate leaders and Republicans have the same opinion minus the divine relationship of the world leaders (well, those that worship money may count themselves as gods if heading large corporations or governments)

3) Islam has real social classes. The table of ranks places Muslim men first followed by Muslim women. Next follow the men belonging to the two other Abraham religions-Christians and Jews followed by Christian and Jewish women. All of these people are regarded by The Islamic world as having souls. Next is the class of all the other people of the world who are regarded as not having souls and simply animals. England for example with just 5% Christian is 95% made up of animals or vermin as it were. As Islamic world proselytization proceeds much of the globalist New World Order of converted atheist debauchees will be ready meet for conversion to Islam and become part of the Umma.

4) Abraham in Arabic means’ Father of the womb’. Fulfillment of Islamic utopianism would have the people living under beneficent divine rulers in a womb like state of nurture in the will of Allah. Democratic Party socialists seek the same, albeit secular goal, in which all may suck their own thumb without fear of abortion. Islamic interpretation of the implication of Abraham may be off the mark.

5) Islamic law saves money on legal justice. It provides same day service for punishment with nobody serving time. Offenders convicted of crimes just receive lashes, caining or amputation of a body part on the spot, or alternatively they may pay a fine to the victim. The Roman historian Tacitus noted a similar legal code in 3rd century Germania. The Congress may be interested in consulting with Islamic scholars on how to save on the cost of building more persons with Sharia law.

6) Real Muslims don’t pay interest on loans. Usury is verboten in the Koran as it were. When the U.S. National debt becomes 30 trillion dollars the Congressional Office of Management and Budget may become Muslim to order a direct a halt to paying interest on the debt.

7) 7) Muslims do not have health insurance or life insurance. Republicans in Congress also are against public funding of insurance for the common folk. Muslims believe Allah alone must provide in the future-not insurers. Republicans in Congress share tat belief for the nation’s poor, yet insure themselves. Some Americans believe a Godly people would create a public health system for the poor and for Veterans that would rely on Godly taxpayers to keep the doors open.

The fine book ‘The Persian Night’ has a myriad of interesting ideas that support comparisons between two geo-political systems of the world today.

Individual and Mass Behavior in Extreme Situations: Bruno Bettelheim. J. of Abnormal and Social Psychology, XXXVIII, 1943, pp. 417–452.

Mass behavior today in the United States and elsewhere is conditioned by factors such as the broadcast media as well as traditional institutional agents of socialization. Mass panics and political thought control are norms. Even in Anchorage Alaska Elton John songs are played nowadays profusely as socialization tools of homosexual political militancy- sometimes on two stations simultaneously. Political incursions into public thought conditioning are perennial in the modern world. It is useful to learn of experiences by former inmates of concentration camps in order to discover how powerful controllers affect subjective perceptions.

The Nazi S.A. was one agency of adverse socialization applying negative reinforcement. Even in the Balkans and Greece tens of thousands of children were starved to by the Nazi power. Cycles of war, revolt, and revenge with common human atrocities were elements of Balkan history. Often the Great Political Powers enabled local insurrections against rivals controlled by other Great Powers. In North Africa today, the United States must be cautious about giving false hope to the rebels that might forestall on military organization of resistance believing that the U.S. warplanes may come to send Dictator Khadafy back to the Stone Age.

Quote from 'an abstract by Martin Grotjahn of Bettleheim's article.

"The author, who has spent one year in two German concentration camps for political prisoners—Dachau and Buchenwald—reports his psychological observations. He stresses the fact that his observations are to a certain extent based on self-observation and thus subjective in character. They were actually started as a diversion to enable the author to bear his experience.

The aims of the concentration camp as an institution are to break the prisoners as individuals, to spread terror among the rest of the population, and to provide the Gestapo with a training ground and an experimental laboratory. In most cases, the shock of unlawful imprisonment is followed by the even more stunning shocks of transportation to the camp and the first experiences there. Nonpolitical, middle class prisoners experience comparatively more suffering than either politically oriented prisoners or members of the upper classes. The typical initial reactions are feelings of detachment: 'this can't be true … things like this just don't happen'.
