ZIRP, Recession and Concentration of Wealth

Federal reserve policy is gone over fairly well in a reasonably brief article here...

http://thefederalist.com/2015/12/15/blame-the-next-economic-crisis-on-the-fed/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_interest-rate_policy

Since the Obama administration has let the labor participation rate to the lowest levels since the 1970s and sluiced so much cheap or free money to banks, the corporate world has a lot a cash it has no reason to invest to get interest payments and prices of consumer goods seem to increase. Apparently a recession may be in store. Like the Clinton, Bush administrations the Obama administration created a moderately Potemkin sort of economy with a lot of vicious undercurrents and dark pools.

Freedom is a Free State; Antonym of Slave State

Freedom Is Isn't Free. Multiple meanings for many words and phrases exist. Some are intentionally purposed to advance proprietary ideas and values. Use-truths in organizations were something Sartre wrote about in The Critique of Dialectical Reason. I recall that is was a chapter on colonialism and the way the insiders viewed the natives. Free people are free and may say what's what while the rest need to fear violence, starvation, exile, ostracism etc.
There is an old bumper sticker that reads; "Freedom isn't Free". One knows what it means, yet it is still somewhat onerous. Free is free basically. If one must sacrifice for one's corporate CEO or die in war to keep the administration happy, then one at least is not as free as a wandering native hunter in North America circa  1200 a.d. who would recognize the sophism and nonsense of social reality wherein enslavement occurs. In the sophist world freedom is closer to meaning something like the Nazis of Auschwitz had for the Jews "work will make you free".
If one must use Orwellian lexicons in order to exist socially then the society is not one with real actual freedom. It is conditional freedom where one is free to do as demanded yet not otherwise. In a real Democracy all the citizens serve militarily speaking if they need to, yet in a corporate society the pros of war paid by globalists, corporatists and such, are motivated to force narratives and ideas consistent with the will of ruling powers and creators of the right social lexicon. One of the reasons for the decline of quality American political leadership is that bright people in the corporate world need to shut up and keep their heads down or be fired much less dissent with any sort of corporate policy. In China though they just jail ya-even Christians sometimes. ISIS are more inclined to be head choppers however, while U.S. elites like financial sabotage to suppress dissident ideas.
The ability to have equal social standing cuts in all directions lexically. Blacks and women want equal power with white men and proscribe speech that would not support that. Corporations sometimes want to control electorates to silence environmentalists. Administrations want to annex Ukraine and perforce action novel writers make Russia and efforts to control their ancient homeland villainous. Even President Obama would not stand with Israel and veto a U.N. condemnation of settlements. On occasions politically correct speech is used to drive actual political movements. What else is new?

Trump and the Atomic Bomb Race

President Trump recently has said some things about nuclear weapons that stimulated the media to a mini-frenzy. America he said would win an arms race, or there may be an arms race, whatever. The news is less exiting than the cars driving around an oval track; where will it lead?

Since Richard Nixon started the SALT talks with the former Soviet Union the United States and Russia have moved toward limiting though improving nuclear and atomic bombs. With the end of the Cold War reagan's plan of eliminating nuclear weapons received impetus forward, yet it froze at somewhere around a couple thousand warheads apiece for Russia and the U.S.A. with misc. warheads scattered around former oviet Republics.

Testing nuclear weapons in the atmosphere was banned long before except for rogue nations. Eventually the U.S. used computers and blast models to test nuclear weapons. Since much of the nuclear technology in each arsenal dates from teh era of B-52s many in government have wanted to upgrade the weapons to make sure they still work if Iran, North Korea, Pakistan or whomever decides to attack Boston with megatons.

http://www.businessinsider.com/nuclear-weapons-life-extension-us-russia-2015-11 trillion dollar upgrade

What I mean is, the issue of upgrading weapons isn't new. Its alright for President Trump to mention it. Apparently he has a political style different from non-business actors wherein he says some larger things and maybe settles for less. If his tactics work for the citizens of the U.S.A. and peace breaks out all over the world with the dawsning of the age of the Universal Widget- who can argue with that? The Von Obama trillion dollar military nuke upgrade was done quietly and the media didn't care since he won a Nobel.

The Clinton Effect

Since the election of Bill Clinton in 1992 the Democrat Party has taken a turn toward the fiscal right and moral left. President Clinton's cult-like following made it difficult for a normal political recovery from the 'excess exuberance' of the era. The U.S. Presidency since the Clinton administration has never been taken by a mainstream candidate.

Perhaps Al Gore would have been elected in 2000 except for his association with Bill Clinton. Of course some would blame his loss to the definate not-top drawer G.H. Bush candidacy on Gore's choice of Joseph Lieberman from a state with few electoral votes. It is likely though that the close election would have gone Al Gore's way if not for the Clinton spoiling effect.

In 2004 John Kerry was taken down on his own merits. Memorable though was the political use of his declaration that Vietnam vets were war criminals decades before. Hillary Clinton did not run in 2004, yet a return of the Clintons was inevitable given Bill's swingy, too-confident persona.

The American need to move past the Clinton conundrum was overcome by Clinton spoiling effect.  Party leaders saw a way to avoid running Hillary by running a safe black candidate from Chicago and Harvard; Barrack Obama. Obama was a rather underqualified candidate with accolades piled on like smorgasboard condiments even from the Nobel committee. His performance was exceptional at golf and basketball, poor at bowling, and in economics concentrated wealth and deepening public debt more than any other U.S. President.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/ct-barack-obama-beat-donald-trump-tweets-20161227-story.html

The Clinton effect returned with a vengeance in 2016 to sweep the Democrat field of candidates clear allowing Hillary to campaign against Donald Trump- a man the nationlooked toward hoping he would help get the nation out of the stuck-in-the-mud quagmire of debt, porous borders, terrorism, antipathy and bad terms with Russia, concentration of wealth and basic bad times and immorality that followed the on of Bill Clinton after the end of the cold war.

Its a tall order for Trump to move the nation ahead to reduce poverty, restore moral basics, conserve U.S. border security, eliminate the federal budget deficit, restore the challenge ecosphere environment and so forth. It is even more difficult for Americans to believe that the Clintons and the Clinton effect may finally be gone.

Jesus Christ: Fully Man, Fully God

On the Birth of God

Some 2020 years ago Jesus Christ was born. He existed from eternity as the Son with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Each are personalities, or persona, of one God.

Some wonder how the infiite spirit that is Jesus Christ could be reduced to a finite form as a baby born of the virgin woman Mary conceived by the Holy Ghost. We may wonder in human terms and desire an answer using what physics and concepts of space and time that we understand.

God, many would think, being of infinite intelligence also has infinite size, though as spirit. While God is omnipresent human ideas of space and time don’t apply to God, the Son or the Holy Spirit...they transcend that.

So rather than wondering how the reduction might be accomplished theoretically it might be more useful to consider that God being omnipowerful too, would find a way for His will to be done.

We might wonder if part of the persona of Jesus Christ was he still in heaven while part of his spirit was on Earth yet again, the categories concerning human mind and body do not quite coincide with that of the infinite God of whom Jesus Christ is along with the father and Holy Spirit. Some questions can never be known. We know that Jesus Christ was fully man and fully God though, thankfully for us.

Chess Patterns, Recognition misc.

A paradigm for patterns is formed with fuzzy logic implicitly.  Beginning players moving toward intermediate see numerous patterns that are known as 'openings' that repeat. Then there is the pattern of the scholar's mate, people that use positional play, or advance a pawn to A5 hoping to use it for that dirty accomplice with the Queen for a mate eventually. Patterns are simply a recognized recurrent form, or alternatively, a non recurrent form as unique as a snowflake yet within a generalized recurring context.
Defining the color 'red' for example, was something that Bertrand Russell tried in his essays in metaphysics, yet epistemological issues and subjectivity developed later in the 20th century brought awareness of the difficulties in assigning particular meanings to words inflexibly such as one might experience with Platonic forms or Platonic 'realism'. Kripke and Quine developed slightly different ideas about names and necessity, neo-platonism vs nominalism regarding words, with Kripke arguing pro- neo-Platonism where meanings assigned to words had at least a minimum of lasting meaning while Quine was on the nominalist side. In that paradigm words have use meanings that can be lost over time.
I guess a fair example is politics. One party says night is day, right is wrong and good is evil while the other side differs taking alternative viewpoints on the same issues. Red for example, could mean green in one context, or cotton candy in another. Quine thus argues for word ontologies or lexicons with given meanings that cannot easily be translated into other ontologies, or at all actually. Ontologies may of course be shared or as in a multi-dimensional Venn Diagram share common elements though not all with a Universe of three-ring paradigms.
I agree that 100,000 patterns is quite a few to learn, yet it is possible that one need only learn larger patterns and not all of the specific branches or modifications within the larger pattern. I would think its comparable to being a general historian wherein one learns something about everywhere and tries to fill in the detail so far as possible about Russian history, Chinese history,U.S. history, Latin American etc. without knowing the name of every tiny river and stream in Italy or Siberia.
It is possible to associate power and function with patterns as well as shape, configuration and so forth. Rivers for example have patterned shapes yet also have a force of water flowing downhill and eroding Earth. It is likely that chess has such variegated qualitative paradigms for patterns too. I am not sure though as I have only been learning chess sporadically the past five years, and internet speed varies in the public sector although there are recognizable patterns of peak use and slow speed compelling losses on time in blitz.
Personally I think chess has no more to do with philosophy than auto mechanics or dentistry. One could play chess for a lifetime and never become literate in the process. It seems to be just a very enjoyable game that people can start learning whenever.
Chess is likely a good way to stave off mental inactivity for the elderly. Alzheimer's seems to develop in people that don't read much. Their brains don't get a work out. Blitz chess is the remedy for that. Medicare ought to cover the cost of subscription to chess.com. Obamacare-who'd a thought?
Learning a 100,000 patterns doesn't seem too challenging if one learns them as well as facts for a college exam whereafter they are forgotten and left to the subconscious. One may not learn those facts rote yet one still has a good idea of the lay of the land. Most things learned end up in the subconscious obviously, wherefrom they are summoned to consciousness intentionally or incidentally after some stimuli or need upon a time.
If one were to look at 100,000 chess pattern flash cards-maybe a different 1000 a day for 100 days they would exist in the subconscious.  The more often one viewed the patterns the easier would they appear in intentional memory recovery.
Phase space and Hilbert space maximum possible configurations of energy-mass quanta inclusive of the mathematically minded observer can present a large number of possible patterns. Pragmatism counts in the use-value of real-steady state quantum fields, such as the Higgs field whereat chess players probably are located, relatively speaking.
Socrates said they he knew he knew nothing. Epistemology leads one to the lack of certainty about everything eventually, except for Christians of course, as Paul noted, that Jesus is Lord and He crucified.

Noting Evolving A.I. Expert Systems Applications

The power of computer expert system with specialized artificial intelligence to find a place in the human social environment is rather remarkable. With an earbud link to wristband semi-supercomputer what President would ever need to fail to know what nations are on France's borders?

The military value for soldiers of an expert system with AI that has every book and field manual, map and Jane's data, and tactical technique ever used in a military setting able to evaluate likely enemy locations and so forth integrated with satellite imaging tech and drone data-even able to coordinate information with other soldiers, is obvious. Probably the military will lead in that sort of thing before some politicians realizes that building a lab on the moon, low-cost housing, securing borders and restoring the national ecosphere are better uses for expert systems.

Applications for expert systems able to adapt to the real world environment and serve as an observing adviser probably have quite a future. It may be through such networking of A.I. systems that the authoritarian computer evolves or appears to shut down human freedom. Gaming the ability of people to be free and discovering ways to cut that down might be well a suited algorithm for a few networked rogue systems-perhaps developing from individuals search in theory for such vulnerabilities.

Renewal With Alternative Infrastructure (revised)

Renewal With Alternative Infrastructure (revised)

  1. 20 Nov. 2014-edited 19 Dec. 2016
Instead of replacing horse infrastructure with more horse infrastructure ancient car supporting politicians renewed infrastructure for cars. Instead of renewing car infrastructure it is time to move on to something better-maybe electro-magnetic platforms.
Politicians often talk about infrastructure renewal in their campaign rhetoric. They say that the national infrastructure is in decay and need of repairs. It is true that many of the vast number of Herbert Hoover era public works are somewhat aged and that water pipes and electrical systems may be of venerable status while the Eisenhower interstate system was founded more than a half century ago. Even so the infrastructure most in need of renewal or replacement is the ideas that politicians have about national infrastructure.
Politicians generally want to just throw money at somewhat creaky systems and renew it as if it were a Model T that needed rusty fender and spring replacements. Instead they should be thinking about new transportation forms that don't need ancient infrastructure paradigms at all. Infrastructure is a consequence of past economic development. New infrastructure should replace old infrastructure that supports new economic development.
It would be possible to produce much more national electricity off the present grid with hydrogen fuel cells in home and neighborhood. It would also be possible to relocate much manufacturing to the United States with 3-D printers of a somewhat industrial scale. What would be useful to stimulate development of new ideas would be education and coordination of small teams of materials designers able to encode patentable ideas in materials and computer coding designers able to encode the product material design in digitalized data code ready for printing. Ideas made in America could be produced in America and around the world without need for material import or export.
Patents should be valid just 7 years with royalties to inventors after that from anyone manufacturing the item of a few percent, in order to stimulate progress.
With new electrical and material production infrastructure it would also be useful to generate new ideas for transportation infrastructure that aren't based upon concrete or asphalt highways and fossil fuel internal combustion platform networks. Faster, cheaper electro-magnetic linear accelerator platforms under and above ground could let existing road be torn up and made into new wildlife corridor infrastructure for bioethical continuity.
Sewage infrastructure might be replaced with some sort of particle beam disintegrator facilities of sludge, or microwave or heat incineration of biowaste in newer infrastructure reducing the requirement for extensive wet transport of piss and poop.
It is perhaps only one of the most endangered national infrastructures; water, that would require not only renewal of existing infrastructure but increased protection extending to renewal of natural watershed infrastructure as well as water storage and transport infrastructure above and below ground.
It would be desirable if politicians contemplating national infrastructure renewal considered ecological economic upgrades as well, if they could get a grasp of what ecological economics are academically speaking. As it is some of the few politicians considering the renewal of democracy infrastructure with a reduction of the corrupting vast divide between the average annual earnings of rich and poor may talk about investing in infrastructure renewal to create jobs but what they really mean is to through hundreds of billions down into the money pit of ancient infrastructure and ancient economic practices that today tend to support globalism more than American national economic interests..
With a Presidential primary election campaign year ahead one must wonder if either major party has anyone with good ideas or any sort of technical economic competence planning to run. Many Republicans want to be another Ronald Reagan-yet what year is this0?
Democrats seem rather daft an interested mainly in homosexuality, drugs and illegal alien amnesty to get more cheap labor and votes. Of course President Obama did consistently stimulate Syrian conflict with a demand that the lawfully elected President quit-and that gave the green light to the rise of ISIS, so maybe they can accomplish things other than giving zero interest loans to Wall Street.

That raises the final point here; is the economy really healthy? What happens if Republicans or Democrats shut down the Fed Reserve free money printing for Wall Street? Is Wall Street so badly evolved in relation to natural resources that it has no ability to exist on its own? Tune in to the next episode of decaying national infrastructure to find out.

      1. With Record Planet Average Atmospheric Temperature Why Not Make Fresh Water?

21 July 2014
May 2014 was the hottest in world record history.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/weather/2014/06/23/may-climate-report/11260723/

With the long-term trend of global warming producing the highest annual average temperature for Earth last year ( records place 2013 between 2nd and 6th) why not build a saltwater evaporation border control canal using solar powered siphons and pumps to bring cool Pacific water to New Mexico to let it return down slope east and west? Evaporate saltwater in canals with sunshine and condense under transparent polymer lids collecting the freshwater droplets to smaller side canals. Some freshwater releases to air might moderate climate in the Southwest and produce more rain as well as irrigation and drinking water besides controlling illegal immigration better. Its a lot of jobs and better than a sterile fence.

  1. G.O.P. Wins-Time for Shovel-Ready Jobs Securing Mex Border
  2. 6 Nov. 2014
  3. Mexico's internal criminal turmoil is largely a result of the existence of a porous border with the more-prosperous for the present nation to the north-the United States. The vast criminal underworld that flourishes on both sides of the border is fueled by drugs and human smuggling in turn fueling political corruption, civil disorder and the failure of security for Mexicans and Americans alike. The need to close the Mexican border to any unauthorized immigration is plain; only in a secure environment can democracy be on an equal footing with organized crime and the killers causing more fatalities than America experienced in the Vietnam war. If on an equal footing democracy, law and order main gain ground taking the city on a hill that is the nation's capital and those toward the U.S. border back from the drug traffickers and corrupt politicians making mockery of justice, equal protection of the law and the opportunity for a secure investment environment.
  4. Human intelligence requires fluid adaptivity to civil challenges that subvert social order and progress. The Republican Party having retaken the legislative branch of government have a clear and present obligation to seal the Mexican border with a physical boundary impassable to casual or determined law breakers. There are numerous ways that would create jobs and a better economy including elements of traditional boundaries such as the Romans and Welsh built to keep the barbarians at bay-in this case the barbarians are the savage drug traffickers and human smugglers as well as those taking jobs from Americans and subverting labor wage relations with management regarding labor supply and the value of labor. The President has been entirely spaced on the issue and promises unilateral action like King Canute to flood America with legal illegals whensoever he deems it desirable to get Hispanic votes.
  5. Creating a Gulf to Gulf canal that would be used to desalinate salt water piped in to the continental divide and collect the evaporated fresh water in adjacent canals with water dripping down from a condenser-roof would make a vast supply of fresh water in a desert for drinking and irrigation as well as create a substantial barrier to illegal crossings with three canals and control roads and berms patrolled by electric vehicles. Jobs building the zone as well as maintaining it would be numerous. With water shortages in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas a new fresh water source would be useful. Water siphoned and pumped perhaps with augmented power from solar panels would bring water from the higher Pacific Oceans and spill it downhill from Deming New Mexico toward the Colorado River and trans-American canal and Rio Grande respectively with a detour in Texas to cut along the border.
  6. The value of allowing honest work and honest history to replace the corrupt milieu of underworld kitsch def facto dominating two economies in the region would be an American value that has grown a little rusty in recent decades, The President should support the effort instead of obstructing it. Shovel-ready jobs across the S.W. are needed right away-for Americans.
      1. Creative Destruction of Evolving Capitalism Destroys the Ecosphere 2

Joseph Schumpeter is credited with coining the term 'creative destruction of capitalism' in reference to the change of economic infrastructure from industrialism to post-industrial tool-kit. That creative destruction has the side effect of destroying the planet's ecosphere as a bi-product or externality. Plainly stuffy capitalism as ecospheric vishnu defenders need to destroy their own ideas about what capitalism is and adapt to a post-trash-the-ecosphere new way of capitalism.

Environmental economics that are adaptable to present national and global challenges require intelligent design of political parameters responsive to meeting the challenges to the synthesis of social economy and ecosphere. Capitalism in its present evolutionary form is demonstrably inadequately responsive to challenges of habitat loss, mass species extinction, global warming, oceanic pollution and dislocation of economic and physical security of the citizens of the U.S.A. and world. In theory capitalism with intelligent design parameters established politically would better work to satisfy political and consumer needs.
Mass media sycophants of concentrated wealth and power get news feed from government and corporate releases largely. Reiteration of ethics values of concentrated wealth form the bulk of the political socialization of the masses encountering the mass media, hence those values of evolutionary capitalism instead of capitalism under the direction of intelligent design gather together like a pelaton in a distance bike race riding through ecospheric and economic eschaton waiting to crash down upon them like a spring-loaded hyper-Maxwell’s hammer.
Plainly one wonders if the Federal Reserve can print up money to buy U.S. bonds and issue zero interest loans to large banks as a permanent feature of the U.S. economy without causing hyper-inflation and devaluation of the value of the dollar. Another potential problem is the large number of dollars held abroad in relation to the quantity held by Americans-will Americans be able to afford to live in their own nation if they aren’t part of the 1% in the future?

Present Obama had nine major policy achievements in his 6 years;

1-Obamacare for corporate power instead of expanded V.A. system networked with homeless clinics
2-Queering the federal government
3-Making Bush tax cuts for the rich permanent
4-Getting anarchy started in the Middle East
5-Forming bad diplomatic relations with Russia and Germany
6-Running the money printing presses copiously without causing hyper-inflation
7-Hiding inflation
8- Killing the date expired (ten years) Osama Bin Laden
9-Building more public debt in one term than Pres. G.W. Bush in two

It is the last policy that is remarkable and a cause for wonder. It seems as if a new age of economics has arrived long after Nixon took the U.S.A. off the gold standard; the Federal Reserve can just issue more money to buy U.S. bonds and fund the cost of government and make zero interest loans to large banks- free money effectively so the rich can buy up global business opportunity. There must be some unintended consequences for that-I just can’t say what it is.

Obamacare's Wrong, Convoluted Paradigm of Political Philosophy

Repost- Obamacare's Wrong, Convoluted Paradigm of Political Philosophy
23 July 2014
Obamacare's wrong political and philosophical foundation continues to generate legal problems dividing the nation on the subject of Democrat Party movement toward establishment of corporatism as a back-door to state socialism. Corporatism leads to corporatism not socialism. Two Federal appeals panels have split on the legality of Obamacare to give free money/subsidies from Federal rather than state run exchanges. The later would be more of a socialist coup for Obamacare-one unauthorized by Congress evidently that has demurred on giving support for Obamacare since the bill was forced through by Democrats without Republican support.

http://www.cnbc.com/id/101819065#

A better, cheaper, practical plan easier to implement would have expanded the V.A. Hospital system and united it with the nation's low cost community healthy clinics in order to provide free treatment to those that can't afford it. It would be easy to get support from both parties for such a system. Obamacare an the contrary has few Republican supporters nor much from those wary of Orwellian corporatist-socialist government power invading privacy and usurping privacy. The requirement that people buy health insurance violates their right to privacy from public access to their personal medical records. Obamacare insurers will probably distribute all of their data globally through subsidiaries and buy and sell that private information as fast as derivatives tranches.

Ben Carson and Low-cost Homes

Why Market Fundamentals Can't Solve the Perennial Low-Cost Housing Shortage
9 Sept. 2014 (revised)

America is a nation where any sort of inheritance can and may be held against you. It is a nation where a college graduate with an honorable discharge can earn fewer than $3000 annually averaged for life. If it is a nation where some insiders can exploit the poor as decoys for the rich, the U.S.A. is a nation where the worst of evil tendencies of human nature may be regarded as virtues.
Market fundamentalists drive up the price of housing rather than down. Capitalism does not low home costs through mass production or streamlining of design. It does not produce a two-bedroom hard shell sprayed on for $19.95. The median cost of homes increases and reflects the prevailing high-end middle class ability to pay as a maximum capacity of salary. There is no separate housing market for the poor and middle class that only the poor can buy in. If the poor can’t afford that middle class lifestyle then they must pay rent to the rich or perhaps go to a for-profit prison so the rich can collect rent on their bodies. This is an essay about finding remedies to the perennial shortage of affordable housing for the poor.

Unregulated market dynamics creating investment opportunities work against the manufacture of quality low cost housing affordable to the poor and lower middle class. Hence there is a perennial housing shortage created by capital concentration on Wall Street forever seeking new profit watercourses to flow in. If a dynamic housing developer were to create a national franchise of low cost, super-insulated, simple high-tech three-room dome homes on modest green lots for $30,000-a super value. Instead of 50,000 poor people moving in to low-interest, government-guaranteed financed homes investors on Wall Street recognizing the value would throw down money and take them for-themselves. Then the home plunderers might flip the homes for a profit or just rent them out to the poor. Concentrated capital can buy up and spoil any sort of private sector mass housing programs intended to benefit the poor or lower middle class-that’s just the way it is.

In the neo-totalitarian corporate state theory predominates over practical democracy. In totalitarian theory no place should exist in the U.S.A. whereby a soul can exist without paying rent to the rich. They might prefer that no one breathe for free either. They want no place where the unemployed or the Son of Man could lay his head without subjugation to totalized geo-political-financial power of the corporate state. Servitude, subjugation and tyranny by the corrupt is the basic effort of the housing paradigm squeezing out the little wealth of the poor and middle class to flow upward to the rich.

A better theory would envision every American owning their home with none renting. Obviously some renting would exist simply because of the advantage in being able to have temporary housing to many. Home owning should be a basic right of all Americans and that should be rationally supported in Democratic policy. Sorting out many of the practical social difficulties created by Americans with housing problems and relieving the poor of existing in a totalized state whereby pressure to compel rent-paying to the corrupt that can even effect political liberty as pressure by the corrupt rich can be placed down the ladder to silence political opinion and free expression of it through economic and housing/ pressure would be a useful way to move from the claims of totalitarian control or all American real estate to a democratic society.

Housing for the poor that is affordable produced purely through the market is as unsatisfactory and ineffective as public housing at solving the never-ending housing problem. Because the corrupt wish to collect rents from others those with the power to end the problem don’t really want to.
Designing practical low cost private homes easily affordable for the poor and middle class would require sophisticated sociological, environmental, urban and suburban syntegrity. New forms of contractual financing that guarantee affordability and home owning security would need to arise. The homes could not be allowed to be ‘flipped’ or even resold buy a buyer for several decades. A home owner that must relocate could trade the standard home contract to someone elsewhere for an equal home. If the home owner prospers he could keep his basic home and buy more or larger housing on the free market, yet he could not sell the home before three decades have passes although he might rent it out. So many practical problems of movement and material are created by homelessness that it ought to be avoided.

I write here from personal experience. After several years of directed public radio harassment I sold my lot at Wrangell Island Alaska intended for retirement after working down south a few decades. So with homelessness I struggled along with the standard problems of no electricity, short ours of light and so forth. Finally in my 40th anniversary of arriving in Juneau I got a trespass-eviction notice at a remote place in the forest a mile from nice homes owned by prosperous state workers, professionals, etc. With some substantial effort I packed my stuff away and left the forest looking green and verdant as if no one had been there. This may be regarded by some as the Aryan consolidation season in Juneau. In Sanskrit arya means 'noble' (as in aristocrat). Perhaps I look like a nigger to the advantaged; who can say. When I was a poor member of the Alaska Army Guard I learned respect for the wild though I never got a paycheck from the state before I left the guard for active duty.
I wonder how it is possible for the poor to extract themselves from poverty with honor. My University of Alaska-Juneau associate degree was of no value in finding work here or elsewhere. I think of it as less valuable than toilet paper. Since the semester I made the chancellors list they did not publish the chancellor’s list and began the process of changing the college name to the University of Alaska-S.E. I might have guessed the degree was a substitute for Charmin.

Still, the forest tent was a good place to work on a graduate course in theology. I was writing a paper on ecclesiology when the eviction notice was posted, yet with seven days to move I was able to work through the notice and look ahead to the eschatology paper. That brief eschatology paper may lead me into an entire course in eschatology. I should stipulate that I tend to be one who believes that realized eschatology is the right interpretation of matters of the Bible. However the kingdom of God is within you while temporality surrounds you and includes your beingness as a human. One may be alive when certain prophesied real events occur in future history yet that is incidental. A Christian always has one foot in the kingdom of God as it were. Though one might need to have two dollars in a pocket to afford bus fare to move their worldly goods there is no cost for transportation to the kingdom of God. I had planned to leave Juneau later this year or early next anyway. It is a fact that when one plans to leave the devil seems to act though people to attempt a last minute trim-it’s kind of weird yet not uncommon.

Private housing should be available for all Americans at a low price. It is of course silly to expect older people or poor people to pay a quarter million dollars for a home even if given a flippy contract from the deep pocket lender flipping the contract in little pieces all over the world. Packaging high quality, low cost housing for the poor and middle class should become a standard government program that as a contract-franchise for production could be fulfilled by many builders. Profit for a builder would be very modest yet with the housing designs and land issues solved ahead of time the development costs would be lower too. It would be necessary to restrict home purchases in the program to those actually poor or lower middle class in order to deliver the product to those that need it.

Border Control Desalinator Canal Better than a Wall

With Record Planet Average Atmospheric Temperature Why Not Make Fresh Water?
Repost-21 July 2014

G.O.P. Wins-Time for Shovel-Ready Jobs Securing Mex Border
6 Nov. 2014

Original Sin Consolidates Power and Wealth (repost)

Nothing can positively be said of the Federal Court's forcing of homosexual marriage upon the people. It is an era of concentrating wealth and political power corrupting the polity, social moral norms and degrading the prospects and reason of the people. Hitler's S.A. of led by the homosexual Ernst Rohm had a comparable radicalism. The Catholic Church in Mussolini's fascist state had a certain perhaps necessary recalcitrance about expressing anti-fascist policy. A polity incapable of violent revolt because of the concentration of military power is inevitably doomed to experience the oppression and dictates of ruling elites. Americans are permitted to have democracy so long as they acquiesce in the will of the rich to inimically degrade and dehumanize them. This is not the first instance of systematic political corruption that is economically inefficient for the masses.
Human nature expressing itself in capitalism substantively co-opts the beneficial aspects of free enterprise negating the hypothetical inventions and individual allocations of opportunity and competition with proprietary exploitation of advantage. The advantaged purge the less advantaged from the field and import cheap labor not able to expect government benefits or a right to vote. Serialized social-economic purges of theoretical political peers permit concentration of wealth and power in elites. As the broadcast media is controlled by concentrated power a unofficial yet viable purge of antipathetic political opinion occurs. Propaganda in support of the new social order becomes normalized.
Human nature seeks to totalize advantage over all land. Concentrated wealth would own every possible place anyone might exist without paying tribute to the rich power of control. Monarchy and aristocracy had absolute power over people regarded as subjects. Subjects and those that cannot exist in freedom any place without paying rent for existing to the concentrated power are effectively slaves. Though the developing new planetary slavery may not form on a particularly racist basis with equal opportunity enslavement for all, may yet be a developing condition wherein no human might exist free of enslavement to the Plutonomy.

Karl Barth wrote of a prior era...quote-
Only the clever English, perhaps one of the few nations really gifted politically foresaw in time the folly of this development, though they were just as penetrated by the spirit of absolutism as the rest, and introduced checks which spared them the catastrophe to which the system by its nature must lead.
This political absolutism from above has, as is known, two variants. They have in fact crossed and mingled in many ways; their roots are one, but they may be clearly distinguished. The principle 'through power to power' had of course also a non-military aspect. This could consist in the princely display of splendour and pomp at which Louis XIV was so inventive, even creative, setting a baleful example which was widely followed. The name of Versailles has thrice had great historical significance resulting in grave consequences. The first time it was as the prototype and symbol of a princely attitude to life and form of life, based on unqualified power. From this life there flowed a brilliance, like the glory of a god, into architecture, the gardens and parks, the decoration in the houses, into comforts and enjoyments of every kind, but above all into the transitory but all the more intoxicating splendour of the festivities. Far beyond the boundaries of France there arose small and miniature imitations of Versailles whose princely and noble inhabitants attempted, with more or less luck and dignity and taste, to emulate Louis XIV.
After his death the Regent Philip of Orleans, then Louis' grandson, Louis XV, in Germany Augustus the Strong of Saxony, Eberhard Ludwig, Karl Alexander, and Karl Eugen of Wurtemberg, Max Emanuel and Karl Theodor of Bavaria, Ludwig IX of Hesse, and many others, were absolute princes of this kind. The notorious immorality, even debauchery, the just as notorious financial transactions, and the scandalous arbitrariness of justice at all these courts, was perhaps not the necessary, but as has happened in all similar phenomena in history the practical, consequence of the representation which one thought to be owing and that not without some logic to the conception of the prince by divine right.”

The idea inevitably presupposed great demands upon the economy of the country, which were made with an astonishing unconcern not to speak of the sons of Hesse and Brunswick who were sold out of hand to America! And ironically enough the command was in fact often not in the hands of its true possessor, but largely and for all to see in those of a woman sometimes, admittedly, in those of a woman far from unfitted for such an office, but only in a derivative sense can her rule ever have been described as by the grace of God. But all these things cannot and must not blind us to the tremendous stimulus imparted to economic and artistic life by the fantastic burgeoning of absolutism.
Neither must we forget that the luxury these potentates cultivated, though so dubious in many respects, acted in practice as a safety valve and corrective against the possibility of a universal state of war, which should really have been the logical consequence of the general principle 'through power to power' and of dynastic cabinet politics.
If it had not been for the Sun-king's notion of the unfolding of power and the relative enervation which was involved herein, Louis himself and all the other God-kings might well with the absolute power they had arrogated have reduced Europe to even greater disasters than those they did in fact cause. Lastly it should be added that anyone who failed to sense not only the pathos imparted by lavishness of ideas, space and materials, but the underlying, unending and truly insatiable yearning in the midst of sensual delight which emanates from every line and form of the art of the age would be guilty of badly misunderstanding those artistic and architectural monuments of that time which still hold a meaning for us. It is this eternal yearning which is the style's inmost beauty, a beauty peculiarly moving for all the horror which is sometimes apt to seize the beholder.
Besides this kind of political absolutism there was another, going by the name of enlightened absolutism. It is possible for the 'through power to power' principle to manifest itself in depth rather than in extent, rationally rather than aesthetically. In that case it takes the form of experiments in social reform in the technical advance of civilization, in agriculture, industry and in the economic sphere in general, in health measures and policies designed to benefit the population as a whole. There are attempts to improve the state of the law, but also to advance the arts and sciences, to raise the general standard of education in short all sorts of measures tending to the so-called 'welfare' of the subjects of the state. In chastising a Jew, Frederick William I says: 'You should love me rather than fear me, love me, I say! ‘”

There is no blinking the fact, either, that Frederick's state had to be a welfare state a Frederick naturally sees farther than the usual run of despots in order to be precisely as welfare state a state worshipping power, an absolute state. The fact remains that the measure of wisdom and rectitude with which the king happened to be endowed, together with the limitations imposed upon these qualities by his highly individual character, his taste and his whims limitations common to every mortal had the significance of destiny for his people, his country and for every individual within his realms a destiny which like God could bless or punish, might cherish or destroy, and could do so without let of appeal to any higher law.”
It is of course possible to question whether that other policy, pursued in the Middle Ages in the name of the imperial ideal, ever became a reality anywhere. But there was at least a chance that it might be realized while it was still at least an active point of reference (question-able in itself but at least fairly well-defined) within the framework of the imperial ideal. It was when this fell away that the realization of such a policy became impossible. For when the prince's power was made absolute, a step which brought with it the death of the imperial ideal, the prerequisite of such a policy, the very notion of a concrete responsibility, of a higher authority, was removed also, and in its place there arose the state without a master, or alternatively the state governed by an arbitrary master, beneath whose sway, even if he were the best of all possible monarchs, justice was a matter of pure chance.
We have taken the one kind of political absolutist, the absolute prince, as the first for discussion. The second kind, his perfectly legitimate brother, his alter ego, following in his footsteps as inevitably as the darkness following the light, as the thunder following the lightning, is the absolute revolutionary or perhaps it would be better to say, since his predecessor was already a revolutionary the revolutionary from below, the representative of the lower class, who conceiving those above him to have injured him in his rights, and even to have deprived him of them, takes steps to defend himself by snatching the power lying in the hands of the governing princes in order that he might now determine without let of appeal what is right and just, because he in his turn has the power in his hands. The roles are reversed. Whereas before it had been the prince who had declared himself to be identical with the state, it was now the people, the 'nation', as it at this time began to be called, who assumed the title by means of a simple inversion of Louis XIV's dictum. This happened true to type in Paris on the 17th June, 1789. The representatives of the so-called third estate, who were, be it remembered, the delegates of that section of the population of France which was in the overwhelming majority, formed themselves into a 'National Assembly 9 and three days later declared with a collective oath, that they were determined in the teeth of all opposition never to disband until they had given the state a new constitution.
Everything that happened afterwards, up to the execution of Louis XVI and beyond, was a direct result of this event. Its inner logic is, however, as follows. (We shall restrict ourselves in the following to the two classic revolutionary documents, the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America of June 1776 and the Statement of Human and Civil Rights ratified by the French National Assembly in August 1789). According to the revolutionary doctrine there exists a self-evident truth which can and must be recognized and announced en presence et sous les auspices de verre supreme:

1. All men are equal, i.e. created with equal rights (Am.), or
alternatively (as in the Fr.), born with equal rights.

2. These equal rights are of nature, inalienable, sacred (Fr.), endowed by their creator (Am.).

3. Their names are freedom, property, security and the right to protect oneself from violence (Fr.) or: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (Am.). The French statement goes on to make a special point of saying that freedom consists in being able to do anything which does not harm anybody and is not as such forbidden by law. And it also considers the right to property important enough to describe it in a special last article as inviolable et sacral
4. It is in order to protect these rights that governments are instituted among men (Am.). Le but de toute association publique est la conservation des droits . . . de I'homme (Fr.).

5. Governments derive their just authority from the consent of the
governed. Le principe de toute souverainite' reside essentiellement dans la nation. All authority exercised by individuals or corporate bodies stems expressly from the people.

6. The law is V expression de la volonte finale so all must have a part in making it, all are equal in its eyes and every office and honour for which it provides are as a matter of principle open to all.

7. Whenever a form of government becomes injurious to the aims
of the state, i.e. to the upholding of the rights aforementioned it is the people's right to remove it and replace it by a government more conducive to their safety and happiness. It will be advisable not to proceed too hastily in such an event, but once it has become plain that a government is seeking to establish absolute despotism it is not only the citizen's right but his duty to free himself of its yoke.”-end quote
The Tao of American Capitalism
26 Oct. 2014
American capitalism in the post-cold war era hasn't evolved felicitously like a development of four season building interior ecosystems optimally adapting in each new transformative directed evolution. Instead capital investment has flowed abroad to new economic frontiers such as China, India and Mexico as well as relocating production over there. In the leaky bucket economic criterion for American capitalism keeping capital investment in the U.S.A. is in opposition to operative Taoist principles of a watercourse way flowing capital overseas to the easiest correspondent pool of capital increase.
Corporate revenue streams may increase in the flow to richer networks downhill drawing in a thousand rivulets into consolidated corporate flows yet the redirection of capital tends to dry up the U.S. National economic opportunities for the majority of the nation whom are poor and middle class. One might envisage a two-or three stage reformed taxation principle of progressive taxation on corporate profit yet the challenges of innovating new forms of enhanced tax structures are substantial. Unlike interior décor that automatically rearranges itself and reconfigures itself along Taoist principles at minimal cost that could be technologically adduced in some futurist scenario taxation or economic reform by Democratic government becomes increasingly opposed by the shear power of concentrated capital flow.
As capital investment has flowed abroad with labor so one might anticipate intellectual work to flow abroad as well. Globalization of an intellectual labor pool may find lowest cost intellectual piecework competition with Americans on a level field with Chinese and Indian intellectuals. Spanish speaking language requirements will be outsourced to via Internet piecework bidding for work. Capitalism in effect will become alienated from the U.S.A. as a nation as it imports cheap foreign labor to drive down the wage value of remaining American labor.
A bright spot for American capitalists is that taxes may be lowered further with the concept that production will remain or return. Tax rates are perhaps not as meaningful to the decision to outsource work as labor costs and market location. As the second and third world nations move up it would be more efficient to locate production closer to the preferred market consumers.
American workers are encouraged to take on student debt training costs for jobs that may not exist or that will become outsourced. Home mortgages that are indexed through globalization to rates investors are willing to pay through derivatives may rise above the ability of the poor and middle class to afford.
With thirty-year home mortgages, disruption in quality employment may break the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase and pay for a home before old age or death. Plainly divorce and homosexual marriage will change the dynamics of home ownership and increase of capital by the poor and middle class in a stable, affordable environment, and that may well affect the ability for parents to pass on their home as an inheritance with a modest capital value increase to the next generation. The default is toward renting and a trickling upward of wealth from the poor and middle class to globalists' concentrated proprietary capital. Networked outlets of global capital vacuum up the financial floor assets of the middle class and poor redistributing wealth from the nation to a plutocratic global ocean.
Developing of oil field fracking technology has brought a steady increase in American oil field production from previously depleted fields. One might reasonably anticipate global oilfields depleted during the 20th century also will be partially revived by future fracking and that too will increase production from old fields and lower global oil costs.
Oil per barrel has already dropped to the low $90s and one might anticipate a price as low as $45 to $60 in the coming years. Russia’s depleted Baku oil fields, Iran’s under-productive reserves and those of Pemex, Saudi, Nigeria and so forth will get their fracking steroid shots endangering underground water quality too yet dumping millions and millions of barrels of effective new oil onto the world market. Plainly that calls for Congress to swiftly pass a permanent alternative energy production tax exemption to let solar, wind and fuel cell power plus remain competitive with fossil fuel burning.
Creating a base service economy boom in the U.S.A. the next decade with low-paying jobs as in the Clinton years with increasing deregulation of Wall Street and the rich may concentrate wealth at an accelerating pace. Returning global investments to buy up American properties will also continue as the majority of Americans experience life ruled by a Plutonomy.

U.S. Public Debt May Reach $19.9 Trillion in 2016- 51 New American Billionaires in 2014

There were reportedly 51 new American billionaires in 2014 with an average worth of more than 3 billion each. The world's 2600 billionaires have 7.3 trillion bucks. Its lucky they run personal finance better than the public sector.  President Obama's economic policies sent so much cash via interest free loans to Wall Street banks their way along with tax cuts.
