A Donald Trump vs. Bernie Sanders 2016 Presidential race would present an interesting contrast of political philosophies and styles. While I believe that given the way the U.S. political system is today the election of a Republican President and a Republican Congress is the next best player personnel configuration to try to fix the nation's financial woes created by the Clinton's financial and home mortgage economic restructuring of the 1990's that was recovered from with Titanic size icebergs of Federal Reserve and U.S. Government buying up bad debt, I haven't a dog in the primary fight really. So long as it's not a Clinton or Bush the nation might have a chance to politically recover from the way things were.
Sanders as a socialist and Trump as the friendly face of capitalism represent the way things are generally regarded as political archetypes. Each need to be cognizant of the national need for ecological recovery prioritization, non-invasive, inexpensive, high-speed, mass transportation and positive foreign engagement instead of perfidious.
In some future time perhaps a candidate with degrees in ecological economics and physics will run for the Presidential job, yet even if an ideal candidate were elected he can’t get any farther than a cooperative Congress would let him go-if he wasn’t in cahoots with a corrupt Supreme Court at least whereby the laws can be interpreted to conform to fearless leader’s will.
