Down the river builds
rapids sand falls
  atmospheric heating wills
rapids sand falls

  Upstream time fills
crashes and sprawls
atmospheric heating builds
rapids sand falls

Time upstream chills
nothings land morgues
  upstream time fills
silent bogged chords

  Through darkness fogs log
enjambments downstream
works from the past
make a future climate scream

Upstream time calls
inexorable arithmetic
downstream time flows
sedentary broadcasts thick.
