Actually the Trump administration should develop waterless sewage processing for Washington D.C. as an example to the world and build a new technology to export. The British water closet model, albeit with better pipes and water, is pretty old stuff. Once a society establishes a particular technology and infrastructure it can't ever really change. Toynbee noted that economic methodology once established cannot really change much unless forced; and that is what AI takeover of white collar jobs may accomplish. Microwave sewage systems should be a more efficient and cheaper way to process solid waste sanitarily with solid waste that is sterile becoming bricks of fertilizer. Much of the world doesn't have water to waste, and the water shouldn't receive all the dope and pharmaceutical etc flushed into waterways and oceans anyway.
