Can't or a Trans-finite Leader (a poem)

 

A nation finds its leaders in little gold match boxes
That strike series of balloons cascading from the sky
Where peace is composed like enigmatic marvels of potential
And wars begin and end in graveyards of silence and memories
Inflating pasts and futures with Eurodollars and enterprises
Oceans of incandescent lighting flood the darkness
Cast as echoes of being and becoming
Unintentional pyramids of possibilities

Where Ozymandas reigns in gelatinous icebergs drifting softly
From warmer regions to cooler, interstellar voids
Fully inscribed with meaning and meaninglessness
Joined together fortuitously like matter and anti-matter
Bringing nothing from something to the fore
Grounds of perceptible objects
Minus Gödel’s set theorems with a set of all sets
Including itself transcending sets in-themselves
As the greatest set is more than a set
An infinity entailing all infinities
A trans-finite infinity greater than all numbers
Yet kings and presidents occur
Like one handed door knocks on empty space
Plans set aside with emergent challenges
Of super-artificial intelligence brighter than the sum of all human knowledge

A world environment with an atmosphere lit by sunlight
Travelling from a star 8 minutes away
Greenhouse gassed with maladaptive technology
Economic infrastructure reinforcing finite values
Trade and commodities requiring motivation to generate
Leading acquisition in narrow, proximal self interests
Tightening the noose of time winding down
While trillions will live in the interstellar void beyond the Oort Cloud
When synthetic recombinant inventions of super-intelligence
Are applied by the will of man
As necessity compels applications
Without hierarchy a basic income for mankind becomes ubiquitous
When nothing remains beside worship, exploration, learning and pleasure
Demons of war would destroy
To become Ozymandas for-themselves
Ramses the II in the flesh.
