Wall Street Virtual Bunnies Too Big to Fail (poem)

Quick like a virtual bunny
running through galaxies of political Universes
time exhaled mighty breaths
inflating fields of fantasy
called balanced budgets and e-dollars

Ships-of-state sailed over borders
eroded from below in waves of time's syncopated rhythms
crashed on shoals of semi-scientism edging forward
engines broke through bulkheads
firewalls on fire
melting steel in deep pools
reflecting shiny precipitated prestige of power

Smoke and mirrors breezed through that subdivision's heat
stopped by nothing like snow, hail or sleet
broadcast spectra of extra dimensions
concentrated gravity like tomorrow's tornado'd pension
nothing structured to withstand the blow

Banking singularities too big to fail
in the nest of Phoenix cuckoos of crisp design
wrote the new algorithms of Monte Carlo
harvest moons of reallocated cash
supplied on demand.
