President Trump's peace effort with the Ukraine war seems to be failing and instead is leading toward nuclear war. Reportedly the administration is working on security guarantees for Ukraine making them an informal ward of N.A.T.O. providing the full package of weapons, cash, foreign forces etc. President Putin has visited his country's strategic nuclear war development center and informal reports indicate that nuclear war may follow Ukrainian missile attacks on Russian cities and other targets deep inside the nation.
President Trump appears to be another stooge of those forces that control White House puppets of the Deep State. The threat of assassination may be what the President fears. That ear-marking shot may not have been an accident. Matthew Crook, like Lee Harvey Oswald and Jeffrey Epstein, was conveniently killed. Dead men tell no tales.
Reports indicate that the meeting in Anchorage went well. President Trump scheduled a meeting in DC with Zelensky Monday to discuss what may be the final peace agreement settling the Ukraine war. It was said that if Zelensky doesn't sign off the United States probably will withdraw all support to Ukraine and let them deal with Russia mono y mano.
The war then would continue until Zelensky says "no mas". European leaders seeking to continue the war in the ancient traditional style of The Thirty Years and The Hundred Years wars would have a bitter pill to swallow with peace arriving and the end of the Ukraine war in our time.

Ukraine is an American prop. An artificial creation of those that never accepted Russia as a free nation- they just want post-C.P.S.U. properties there; I have always regarded the war as the fault of the Democrat Party and the west. Russia had to fight to keep Russia together- sharing Ukraine is the best case scenario- Russia needs to see the west recognize geographic and military reality. Incidentally Russia made a nuclear powered cruise missile that can fly a nuke for years around the world.
I had four or five Russian history courses and thus see things differently than the military/industrial/media/political cold warriors for life. Zelensky Should Have No Veto
Ukrainian marshal law President for war Zelenskyy sapped the London Peace talks to end the Ukraine-Russia war. He prefers more ‘pressure’ to force Russia to accept his own terms. Those terms basically are that Russia retreat to the 1991 boundaries that existed when the internal ‘states’ of the former Soviet Evil Empire declared independence in the absence of a ruling authority in Moscow.
Those boundaries were inventions of the Soviet communist leadership that served political purposes. Even Jews were given a small ‘reservation’ in Siberia. Plainly the Russian Federation would never accept the shrinkage of Russia to the much smaller boundaries the Communists had set. Because it was mostly historians who recognized the fact that a future war of Russia to recover its lost ground would develop without correction, the tragedy of vacuous western European leadership failing to recognize the problem and adjust the Russian areas in Ukraine as part of the Russian Federation let millions of casualties occur in a senseless conflict that President-while-marshal-law-exists Zelenskyy seeks to continue with full western backing.
It was only the vast left-wing military support of the Biden administration that enabled the Ukraine to de frappe the Russian reconquista of part of Ukraine and Crimea that began in 2014. Although Mr. Zelensky as an experienced comedic actor can tolerate the accretion of a couple hundred thousand more Ukrainian military and civil deaths in 2025-26 to continue the war instead of cutting Ukraine’s losses and establishing a solid peace- in time the significance of the new Russia-Ukraine border would fade into insignificance with free trade and good relations- Ukraine seems likely to be in a worse position in several months than it presently is.
For Moscow’s part it too would be in their interests to seek a peace that recognizes the west’s unwillingness to allow Russian expansion westward beyond the Dnipro to occur. Historical illiteracy, paranoia and greed have brought the west to believe that the Baltic states and Poland- even Finland are objects of Russian Federation plans of conquest.
Realpolitik should recognize a final status of Russian annexation of any Ukraine land it possesses to the east of the Dnipro, free navigation of the Dnipro by all nations, that Ukraine cannot be part of N.A.T.O. and that Ukraine’s 800,000 man Army is reduced to fewer than 250,000 soldiers for a period of twenty years. Russia should proceed to establish tax free zones along the Ukraine-Russia border to encourage civil investment and business development preferably along ecological economic lines. It could also guarantee the peace of Ukraine itself in some innovative way that assures Ukraine that it will not resume war if Ukraine seems less of a military opponent.
The west probably does need to have some military security concerns in Ukraine to monitor the development of peaceful reconstruction. Perhaps 50,000 soldiers located on bases as were garrisoned in post W.W. 2 Germany could be set around Ukraine for twenty years yet not as a border force on a DMZ. Ukraine could join the E.U. in order to expedite its recovery from the war. Relations with Russia should be normalized by the E.U. as part of the peace settlement to reassure Russia that the west is not just tricking it so Ukraine can have a better chance to reload militarily and counterattack again.
The United States might consider pressuring Ukraine and Marshal Law President Zelenskyy to accept a realistic peace settlement by stopping providing military intelligence to Ukraine until it does, as well as a halt to all military and economic aid until the U.S. federal budget is balanced.
President Trump has brought the two primary belligerents in the Ukraine War closer to peace, yet Ukraine Leader Zelensky still is recalcitrant about accepting peace where Russia gets much land on the east side of the Dnepr River. That is the final settlement though. A demilitarized West Ukraine recognized by Russia, an East Ukraine made of Russian and Russian affiliated states and a mutual recognition that war needs to be allowed to be a horrible loss of life and memory fading into memory.
The public should elect technically competent individuals to political roles; when they don't there may be substantive negative consequences. Although Mr. Zelensky graduated from Kiev College with a law degree, satisfying Democrat Party qualifications for politician like Adam Schiff, he began a career as a politician even before graduation. He persisted advancing as a comic actor and comedian until elected in 2019 to the office of President after making a movie about an historian elected President. The film was financed by one of the richest men in Ukraine.
Mr. Zelensky is a comic actor that could not help presiding over the tragedy in Ukraine. He is not a statesman, historian or pragmatist for peace; he is instead a creature of ambition.
Summer of 2025 should be the beginning of reconstruction of war torn areas along ecologically sustainable lines such that the work comprises a revolution in progress. A season of hope and progress is immeasurably superior to those of death.
