Sanders and Trump Each Muddied with Usual Russian/Putin Pawn Label

Presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump each have been targets of mud-slinging this election cycle; namely being favored pawns of President Putin. For some reason Democrats at the top find it requisite to associate Russian President Putin with opposition political rivals in order to boost themselves as default genuine American apple pie personnel. After the end of the war against the Soviet reds the left media gave the name red to Republican states and blue to Democrat majority states. Democrat and media leaders were apparently fearful of becoming thought of as residual reds themselves with the demise of communism in the former Soviet Union.

Bernie Sanders as the sole Democrat candidate to have voted against President Obama's demand to fully approve keeping the Bush II tax cuts is regarded as the only Democrat who could actually make a difference to uni-party, deep state business as usual that is purposed to enrich politicians and concentrate wealth before anything else. Democrat leaders thus hate Sanders and the left media hates Sanders too; not as much as President Trump yet he is up there in the hate rankings.

Sanders probably would need to tighten up his border security policy outlook to get elected. The nation and democracy cannot have illegal migrants running amuck over the border and thereby subverting democracy and political self-determination. If Mexico or any other American states wants to join the United States of America; a union of states in the Americas, that would be fine. They can ask Congress for that. What cannot be tolerated is gross corruption of borders and national sovereignty that renders democracy a farce and concentrates wealth and power with the majority becoming peonized.

The entire concept of the Russian President being a meaningful elector of U.S. Presidents is too farcical to be believed. Taking out a few million dollars worth of Facebook ads and more is just a drop in the bucket of the cost of winning a U.S. election.  The deep state media has already made it virtually impossible for large scale formation of political opinion that does not generally follow media preferential opinions; what ever happened to the Green Party menu of non-environmental issues dumped on it that made it disappear.

Bernie Sanders is the first candidate since Ralph Nader ran as a Green or Independent to present the prospect for rectifying American tax rates and making a difference. President Trump was elected for a similar reason in as far as he shared with Bernie Sanders and outside the deep state mainstream relationship. The United States has a real choice this year between environmentally indifferent, wealth concentrating capitalism and socialist leadership dampened capitalism that would in theory concern itself more with ecological economic policies within a free enterprise paradigm while also restoring a meaningful progressive income tax rate in order to pay down the U.S. public debt. With the two opposed dynamic approaches one cannot predict the outcome nor what the actual policy implementation would be if that is the November 2020 card.

The Criterion of Original Sin and Aftermath

Recently I encountered another one of the millions and millions of skeptics and trash-talkers of original sin. I thought I would write a little about the topic for edification of those lost forever unless they were to become saved through the intervening grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Apparently a lot of people haven't given much thought to the book of Genesis. One might need to think about it, especially in the post-Darwinian social environment, for some substantial length of time. There is much to the book of Genesis of course. It was handed down from Abraham to Moses and made into a formal book of the Bible in the Court of David initially, or for a start, and completed perhaps in the court of Solomon or Rehoboam with some minor redactions later. 

I will keep the remarks to the point of the moral failure of Adam and Eve instead of the interesting, preceding cosmological content concerning the order of creation. We know from Genesis that Adam and Eve were a test case. They were created and had a start in time, yet the time may have been open-ended until they were caught perpetrating deceit unto God and corrected. They were cast into the temporal Universe from some unknown eternal paradigm that is guarded against human entry by four cherubim. Maybe those cherubim watch the four-dimensions of space-time of this Universe.

The correction of God was made because Adam and Eve had eaten from the tree of knowledge and become 'as one of us' aka sentient. They were willful and disobedient unto God. God realized that Adam and Eve might eat of the tree of life and live forever as immortals disobedient to the will of God. That would be inappropriate for several reasons including the well-being of Adam and Eve and their kind. The entire human race staring with the first two prototypes or archetypes were removed to the temporal Universe with thermodynamics, work, life, death, procreative urges and the unavoidable nature of interacting with others often destructively or manipulatively, because in nature, consuming energy in the form of eating others is endemic.

Original sin thus is like a virus or plague that infects all of humanity from birth unto death. Death limits the uncorrected and incorrigible nature of mankind. Salvation through the atoning grace of the Lord is the sole way that spiritually dead human beings may be saved; God sees the perfect nature of His Son Jesus who has shed his blood for each saved individual, instead of the sinner that is every human being that stands before God in judgment, with a default judgment rendering against him a priori via Adam, Eve and the paradigm of thermodynamic unit being.

Many people wish to regard life simply from the biological, evolutionary angle. In that paradigm people are just meat and the essential purpose for humanity is reproduction. Even in that paradigm it is species survival rather than individual survival that is more meaningful in the meaningless world of evolution; an individual human genome mostly is dispersed and replaced through heterosexual reproduction in individuals so far that their descendants would be complete strangers to their forefathers and mothers. An individual lizard's genes are not important at all in comparison to the survival of a lizard species that is itself of dubious meaning for evolution itself.

Spiritual life is brought through God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. One could compare the relation of the spiritual to the evolutionary Universe of meat and death including spiritual death to the Platonic realm of Forms, the Intelligence and dumb, individual created social units.

 No matter, faith and reason overcome temporal worldliness and faithlessness alone. One has an eternal existence with God and the other, left to its own devices if not corrective design, hell forever. Physicists believe that below absolute zero the temperature may be infinitely hot. That's an illustrative phase change of the potential for willful spiritual death.

Evolution Makes Every Political Circumstance a Winner

Evolution makes every possible circumstance in politics and chess a winner, for every position is equally meaningless and determined with blind, random chance.

Politics evolve, more than dialectically, actually wholistically, in conformity to thermodynamic patterns of the Universe. Human reason works against evolution in that it reorders the orders of nature. Fortunately for the integrity of evolution, scientific reason has stipulated that reason is itself evolving and a product of evolution, therefore reason is meaningless and futile too, so everyone is a winner.  

Reason has allowed faith, that ostensibly surpasses the order of evolution and reason when necessary, however even if so, evolution is a continuum of meaninglessness bringing the best possible circumstance of politics and economics with more than blind, random chance that is a kind of stochastic fallacy in regard to thermodynamics in which evolution coheres.

Evolution is the format of in-line capitalist philosophy of those that have made a philosophy of capitalism the sine qua non of evolutionary political economy. The beauty is that without reason the invisible hand of evolutionary fate brings the market to evolve the best possible circumstance for all that believe.

Original sin is comparable to a Universal virus that infects everyone at birth with the sole remedy being inoculation from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Sanders vs Trump Seems Like the Main Event

The rise of Bernie Sanders to take the 2020 Presidential race nomination of the Democrat Party seems pretty assured considering his primary opposition. Sanders is the sole candidate with principal running in the Democrat Party that means anything. He was the only member of the Democrat side to vote against the Obama renewal of the Bush II tax cuts. All other Democrats were nothing more than goose-stepping followers. The integrity of Senator Sanders is something of a rare item in U.S. politics these days.

If Bernie Sanders is elected he can work one or two good policy changes in his single term of office (Republicans would retake the Presidency in 2024 most likely as they would be very motivated). The main Sanders work would be to return to a substantial progressive tax rate on the upper 10% of U.S. income compilers.

Sanders might be expected to take all of the Democrat Party vote and to bring in large numbers of Obama minority voters that realize that increasing taxes on the most rich can't be a bad thing for them. Sanders would need to steer clear of extremist economic reform plans that are quite half-baked threats to put Americans out of work. A Sanders check-hook would accentuate the positive aspect of limiting solid tax increase to a small minority of the most rich Americans. Sanders vs Trump would be like the Ali vs Frazier thrilla in Manilla over taxes. Sanders with Klobuchar in his corner as VP candidate would present a tough and possibly winning game.

With a separation of powers three-part government it is not really theoretically possible for a one-party socialist government to evolve if the voters don't really support socialism. Sanders as a socialist candidate is not able to install socialism as the U.S. form of government; he is just a candidate that with Presidential powers would be able to advocate for higher taxes to negate the vast concentration of wealth in the U.S.A. that makes it a peer of Mexico.

Over-concentration of wealth destroys the political power of voters to elect adaptive candidates whom would use free enterprise incentives and regulations to develop an ecological economic infrastructure for the U.S.A. It also blocks creative individuals from expressing new ideas and developing alternative business ventures in this age of networked ad hoc racketeering by the repressive and powerful. With so many environmental challenges to human life on Earth over-concentrating wealth to give the generally uncreative so much power to ossify social political-economy is quite unhealthy.

The Sanders vs Trump event is the meeting of two heavyweights fighting over the political philosophy of progressive taxes to stop aristocracy from taking over America versus a model of classical capitalism who believe evolution of capital presents the best possible political economy. It is a battle of egalitarian democracy versus blind predatory capitalism with faith in itself with virtual divine right to rule.

Norway's Planned $47 Billion Dollar Road

Norway has started construction on a forty-seven billion dollar road that crossed several fjords. Costly conventional bridges destroying the purity, such as remains, of fjord wild ecosystem health, probably was planned to be minimal, and for economic reasons the construction is understandable. One wonders if their were alternatives to the mildly invasive of the fjord ecosystem transport technology that might have been used instead.

Different tech that creates electromagnetic field lines to repel electric cars so they can drive over fjords without solid bridges might be a couple dozen billion dollars cheaper. It would be like a surface effects channel skipper with an infrastructure to support passing land vehicles.

Alternatively magnetic field lines could be made and stationary, Meissner effect elevated platforms set for conventional 'primitive' wheeled vehicles to drive upon. Where possible, new technology should be innovated to reduce the cost of conventional infrastructure by at least 50%. The public could better invest in free college education for the poor than use old-style established infrastructure costly to build or maintain.

Norway's new road will enable a certain amount of economic acceleration for free trade with Britain or other non-EU countries, or even the EU should they wish to be better exploited by EU tourism.

Cut the 2021 Federal Budget One Trillion Dollars and Increase Taxes on Top 20%

The U.S. Government is running a trillion dollar a year deficit between income and expenses. Therefore the interest on the debt is running a half trillion a year. All of the Presidential candidates are completely unrealistic about that. Republicans talk about cutting taxes and cutting survival programs for the poor including health and retirement, and Democrats talk about adding trillions to the public debt for more inefficient health care provisioning for the middle class and dictating economic changes to cut back on greenhouse gases.

The right approach would be to add a trillion in revenues from better progressive taxes on the rich and use the money to pay off the public debt. Cutting back on government spending a trillion dollars annually would  be possible with reform of numerous programs to enhance efficiency. Medicare, Medicaid and VA and community health programs for the poor can be combined and reformed to decrease cost and create more efficiency with direct federal medical service to every American citizen with $24,000 or less in 2020 dollars for annual income. Establish better means tests with tighter standards so necessary help for retirees is limited to those that actually need it. 

Military service should have a pay cut; peace time pay scales are just too high Provide free college and vocational training to all service veterans including guard and reserve for military service of more than six months without asterisks or qualifiers. Encourage better American education. Make sure that creative yet poor Americans don't waste decades chasing after graduate financing that never actually is grasped.

Create a new zoning category for businesses and imports such that low entropy and non-harm to the ecosphere including the atmosphere is rewarded progressively.

Just Bernie Sanders Can Restore Progressive Tax Rate?

Bernie Sanders won the Iowa democrat primary and faces a gaggle of rivals in New Hampshire. Sanders has a plain winning edge though; he is the only trustworthy Democrat who would actually restore progressive taxes on the rich.

When President Obama let the Bush II tax cuts become law Senator Sanders was the sole dissenting vote and voice. The reset all went along with the tax cuts and after the fact wish for a progressive tax rate. Mayor Buttigeig is the obvious entry of the British aristocrats and Oxford to lead the Democrat farther into entrhalldom by the rich and aristocrats so taxes can be cut further.

President Trump plans to balance the budget by cutting the social safety net and Medicare in addition to exploiting the ecosphere for dirty profits for the rich. Bernie Sanders probably has no gimmicks-just progressive taxes, so he may be the only realistic Democrat.   

Socialism isn't good and neither is the homo ageneda of godless Democrats. Sanders though may be the adult in the room. It seems like a race to destruction by socialists, godless atheism and the rich with their aristocratic Brit Butties versus President Trump who is good for working class jobs except he also helps concentrate wealth and trashes the ecosphere. Maybe Sanders and that late entry Democrat billionaire should run as a team and get rid of fossil fuel cars, restore green wilderness and build a network of Musk emg transport infrastructure instead of old style smoking technology.

Perhaps Sanders could get the progressive tax rate restored to a fair level in a one-term Presidency followed by a real ecological economist Republic with spiritual moral fiber.

Medicare plan B- the one that pays for doctors and misc. costs about $200 monthly if the elderly want that. Not everyone retired gets more than $1500 monthly so the cost is very steep for the poor. Those receiving the minimum retirement benefit after buying food probably need to pay half of their remaining income for plan B ($600s.s. - $200(food) - $200(plan B) = $200 for everything else). 

If an individual expecting the minimum social security income waits beyond age 65 to sign up for plan B (even if full retirement age is 66), the government and a permanent penalty to the cost of plan B. The penalty evidently is progressive and increases if an individual waits to sign up because if they wait the social security income increases annually until age 70. Waiting is a good idea for those anticipating the minimum, except for the penalty for not signing up for a plan B program they probably can't afford until retirement.

I wonder why the most poor are charged as much as the prosperous for basic medical service. I suppose I can answer that question myself; politicians and the prosperous make the laws and they are generally interested in helping themselves the most while blaming the very poor for existing at soaking up government tax dollars. Thus President Trump in seeking to form a budget looks to cutting services for the poor since they are the most powerless political element in the nation.



The Continuity of Self

The structure of an individual remains largely set before birth and continues through unto death. Human structures are made to change through growth and life unto death, and change is part of the structure. Yet entangled particles make up material forms, and though the individual particles may change the energy that makes the particles and the form of a structure remain the same.

There is water behind a dam. One may jog past a dam every day and admire the wonderful reservoir and sparkling blue lake water, and know that the water is different each day, yet the same form for the lake itself remains. Platonic forms have relevance in the actual quantum structures of things in a way with entangled particles existing in forms. Actualized forms remain until their time is passed.

 Individuals can remember their earliest years- memories persist of being age 3 or 4, and one knows oneself that one's self is the same knower of self that always was (in most people); one is just at a different space-time place on one's wordline of experience and existence. If brainwashed sufficiently one can have false ideas of self I suppose, and if weak willed enough can believe they change who they are as quickly as the weather. with no continuity in who they were before. In the math question of how long did it take for the car-self to travel from point A to point Z at the speed of life they answer; 'the car self was never itself having changed at every point on the way and is not-self at point Z and all other points where it never was.

Maybe it would be reasonable to compare the process of being oneself and aging to the experience of making a journey with one’s own legs or oars and arms a certain distance, where one can recall the past few miles and reflects that it is easier going now, with fewer waves or clouds of insects hovering about, than it was then an hour or two ago. Then when a year passes one can remember that journey and how tough though enjoyable it was, and wish perhaps that once again they were on that journey, or a similar one ahead. One tends not to think- “I am not now who I was then”. One knows that one accumulates experience and goes through new situations. One is the same self yet changed with additional knowledge, living in the present instead of the past. 

Priesthood of Believers vs Pastor-Priests?

The terms pastor and priest can be used interchangably.  I suppose that could be a point where a difference could exist. Old testament priests seem more like church pastors/priests to me. I think the wording need be carefully examined, especially in Aramaic, Hebrew as well as English if one wants to differentiate the two. Pastors or church guides might be implicit in a priesthood of believers, egalitarian format where all rotate in roles perhaps with three ranks of beginner, intermediate and elder. If the church structure is efficient and guided by the Holy Spirit, one does have the presence of the pastoring of the Lord. 

All Christians can be pastors and teachers and should learn to do so in a priesthood of believers church structure so they can all be evangelists too in addition to keeping true faith while having the temptation of being the guy on stage removed with all the problems that can cause. There would be little financial temptation for the tired rock and roll performer to become the new performer on the Christian stage, and with voluntary priesthood of believers participation there would be little point in living a duplicitous, hypocritical life as is practical with pew sitting Christians delegating Christian leadership to a stage performer.

Rabbi means 'teacher'; One can act in the role in a priesthood of believers yet not be called 'teacher'. That church could have pro-theologians write script content to be read aloud.

Global Butch Policy of Elites Won't Secularize the Planet Very Soon

The pro-homosexual view of the richest was forced from the top-down on the society through corporate elites and judicial appointees made by Harvard elites. Some of the elites apparently felt that Malthusian over-population could be modified a bit with a zero population growth ethic reinforced by homosexuality. Homosexuality was a tool for Adolph Hitler in subvert opposition through the S.A. with its homosexual leadership. Attacking traditional values is done for numerous reasons in this era mostly of advantage to the richest elites.

Demographically speaking all consumers are of equal value to the rich, and some elites are atheists too, so they find numerous items of traditional society including religion generally offensive and seek to reduce them to nothing that would be regarded as a secular impediment to corporate will and profits. Homosexuality has been a problem since ancient Rome with its cult of Bacchus, and that adverse relationship to society isn’t likely to go away from the west or elsewhere. Instead the homosexual movement will be used to divide society as a contentious social issue from material issues such as an adequate progressive tax rate and a transition to ecological economics.

Homosexuals should have developed a non-belligerent, unadversarial relationship to the U.S.A. and simply invented their own establishment for homocoupling instead of expropriating marriage. With the judiciary behind the homo-corporate agenda homosexual marriage was forced upon Americans. Foreign nations are not going to be too quick to succumb to the ‘western’ corporate agenda for becoming homo-friendly proles without religious convictions. The BLTQ movement just took a wrong approach to blending in to the west. They should have established their own formalized contractual structures and evolved to become respected as citizens and left alone to their own personal choices for eternal sin and damnation if that is what lies beyond the temporal veil. The media does of course general propagandize and proselytize for the BLTQ crowd. Abroad, the necessary propaganda elements may not so quick to heel to the leash of the richest.

A rectification of marriage is likely to occur in the future with it becoming just a heterosexual institution again to concur with reality and the original purpose and laws made to reinforce that paradigm. When homosexuals get off center stage and return the just being ordinary citizens with civil liberties, protections and rights and time passes with normal society function reasonably well, then other societies may take up that approach if they are not coerced to do so. Unfortunately in the bum’s rush to force homosexuality upon the world the Democrat Party has two leading candidates that either were British trained homosexuals or doctrinaire socialists. The prospect for ecological economic political development is repressed to suppressed with the rise of a number of alternative elements tat will simply further more social division at home and abroad.

Adam Smith, Thomas Malthus and Global Trade with Ecological Sustainability Concerns

Trade is an issue of concern mostly for people invested in the present system of globalization, or opposed to it. Some felt that developing nations were taken advantage of by aliens that are rich and empowered with corporate plans to exploit the uniformed savages that are barefoot and without big screen TV’s In my opinion such concerns will continue because people haven’t very good ideas about what or how trade might be done differently or even how to transition an economy to an ecologically sustainable foundation.

I read a textbook on ecological economics once, and I seem to recall that it mentioned that global trade is inefficient in regard to the environment. Harm is done to the atmosphere form all of the global transportation of goods, and harm is done to the oceans and land as well. As global labor is exploited and wages kept down to minimum increases because production can relocate to where the lowest common wage denominator is, so can production and resources be most easily exploited globally as they are locally depleted by producers that relocate when they are gone, or transport more from abroad. A significant change would be to produce as many goods locally as possible and minimize foreign trade. Some day perhaps 3d printers can manufacture goods locally and plans and design program made globally; transferring information on the Internet isn’t too harmful to the environment, although it would be better if server farms were geothermally powered or some other renewable resource was used to power them.

The controversial or contentious item about trade from my point of view is why is it so encouraged to exist in a world that still uses Adam Smith’s 19th century paradigm for free trade given to relax royal restrictions on trade with Europe? In Adam Smith’s day the environment’s limits weren’t too much on the radar except for people like Thomas Robert Malthus, whose concerns about the limits to population growth never really became obsolete. Free enterprise within ecologically economic paradigmata for directed economic evolution can be applied to create a political economy to maximize human potential within rational and sustainable criteria in theory if not in political practice.

President Trump was the first President to be impeached and acquitted on a purely partisan basis. Democrats generally hate President Trump for a variety of reasons, not all of which are wrong although hatred is, and so they flammed up a pretext for impeachment. The bunk impeachment was as great as danger to democracy in the U.S.A. as was the Nixon directed burglary of the D.N.C.

The Clintons catalyzed a Democrat Party network synergized with Silicon Valley party partisans able to coordinate headline propaganda with a pejorative outlook. The Clinton Foundation and Sect. Clinton provided free tours for those that made large donations to the foundation. Countless Clinton computer related perfidies, lost hard drives (or erased), unsecured email servers for official state department business, a lost Clinton Diary that reappeared after Vince Foster died- the number of information age perfidies that appeared to be a constant companion of the Clintons and the Democrat Party; no to mention Senator Feinstein’s employment of a Chinese espionage agent, brought distrust to the public and incredulity at the specious nature of the impeachment charges. 

Democrat hatred of the President induced them to conflate bias with facts to produce a subversion of Democracy that was as an attempted coup in effect. Corporatism and socialism may egress to establish itself as a deep shadow government eventually, apparently it was mostly thwarted this time. 

President Trump Acquitted Vacation Next on Congressional Agenda?

President Trump's was acquitted by the Senate on a generally strict party split with Utah's Mitt Romney being the crossover on article 1. One wonders if the Congress has scheduled vacation time all around for a job well done at wasting time and money instead of packaging good bi-partisan legislation.

Both parties seem to applaud the President's state of the union speech reference to the Barrasso Highway Bill. Actually the U.S. should replace its old infrastructure such as highways with new infrastructure rather than rebuild it. One of the challenges of mature civilizations is that they can't fundamentally change their basic infrastructure forms. Asphalt and concrete highways and steel and concrete bridges are such infrastructure the post-modern U.S.A. cannot move beyond with brilliant, new transport ideas that aren't so trampy, slow and solar heat absorbing.

The President's approval rating is 49% though Speaker Pelosi isn't one of those. She said she will not accept the acquittal, and Majority Leader McConnell responded; whatever that means.

It is a good thing to have principles, so many people don’t. Principles serve as self-directed programmatic choices one has made or accepted. It is easy to understand therefore that some would regard principles as pre-judgments and offer reproof. Alice Cooper sang ‘we’ve got no class, got no principles, got no intelligence, can’t even think of a word that rhymes’.

Principles may arrive from others and conveyed as social values that one has accepted for various reasons. Immanuel Kant wrote sapere aude- think for oneself. René Descartes’ earlier had written a philosophical investigations on epistemology were he resolved to investigate first principles of knowing, of self-awareness; perhaps Kant thought to improve on that and to consider perception and objects technically rather than introspectively- objectively rather than subjectively if that differentiation were possible... Kant wrote The Critique of Pure Reason trying to do so.

Agencies of socialization may train one, or indoctrinate, their own ethical values in subjects; i.e. television. Television watchers presently encounter one commercial where a famous lesbian appears extolling the virtues of evolution following a funny video story about stone-agers trying to cross a bay without a boat and being eaten. The obvious purpose is to promote homosexuality as an evolutionary, progressive devise. The values of the rich are promoted through the television commercials and content they can afford to put out.

The moral and value principles in the commercial showcase evolution as social change, and lesbianism as an example of positive change. The unstated premise of atheism being rational is implicitly inferred from the context. What isn't mentioned about evolution is that not all change is good-for-all.

An example of evolutionary harm might be that of Nazi Germany's final solution being harmful to European Jews. If a Chinese bio-lab invents a virus that escapes and kills all human life on Earth except for independent voters in the U.S.A., that would be bad for everyone except possibly the independent voters. Neither can evolution be set against Christian beliefs for there are Christians that believe the book of Genesis describes God evolving the Earth on his own better than ours time.

Principles are abbreviated, encapsulated forms for behavior and for making live moral or other kinds of choices without needing to rethink those on-the-spot. Sometimes that kind of time for careful reflection on principles doesn’t exist. Consider the philosophical ethical thought problem of a fellow forced to choose between switching a runaway train onto a track with one baby tied to the rail or let it go ahead to crash into a bus full of Democrats that is stalled on the track- if he had a moral principle thing about it he could act decisively. If he stopped to think about the moral issues the train might speed right on past while he was thinking about it.

There is a difference between abstract principles and principles actually used and accepted as worthwhile for-oneself. Some authorities; Biblical for example, offer moral instructions or principles that can save a lot of suffering learned through experience, even so it is worth thinking about accepted moral principles to determine for-oneself if they are reasonable, if opportune.

If one reads a book on outboard motor mechanics that describes particular principles of small engine repair and those principles become your own, and one day you need to repair a broken outboard motor on the high seas, and discover that the book obviously had bad advice and actually was written by a poet, it is likely that you would discard that set of principles for repairing an outboard motor and look for something else if you survive rowing to safe harbor. Untested moral principles that are abstract can fail when put to the test. One sees the temptations of Christ that were well met; not every human does so well in applying or understanding moral principles to actual circumstances if they need to.

East and West; Who is the Winner at Decline?

Thomas Piketty writing in his book Capital in the 21st Century examined the economic history and growth rates over time of several nations and found that the economy of nations stabilize when mature at a fairly modest, low rate in comparison to the rapid growth rate of developing nations taking up the technology and economic tools of more advanced nations. It is thus reasonable that the Asian nations have a faster rate of growth than those of the west. Eventually they too will stabilize at the same level as those of the west I would think, or might if several externalities such as limits to population and resource growth or ecospheric challenges do not arise to change things.

Sustaining high rates of growth for several generations is improbable because of the compound nature of the increase. Doubling a population or rate of growth every few years instead of over several generations would quickly deplete planetary natural resources.

One might regard the west coast of the United States as being in decline compared to the east coast because Democrats have taken over largely, yet that isn’t the sort of answer some would be looking for. Decline is an ambiguous term since there are so many possible value systems to choose from. If one wonders about civil liberties the west still has more than nations like China, yet for decadence socially the west might have more of that than the orient.

If one is looking for zero population growth and a sustainable ecological economic based economic reform with free enterprise working within a directed political economy with a goal of restoring the vitality of the world ecosphere in my opinion East and West are equally in decline.

Predatory Capitalists Have Partners in Ecosphere Predators

I.M.O. corporate raiders are predator capitalist in a free market mal-adapted to global ecosphere challenges concerning its decay. Free enterprise should have better ecospheric regulatory criteria to prefer a directed evolution of free enterprise with ecological economic guidelines conducive to sustaining human life on Earth and recovery of as much of the lost wild flora and fauna as is compatible with state of the art land use design policies.

Corporate developments should be required to go through hoops of no-net-loss-of-ecospheric vitality, neutral to reversal affect on global warming etc. Intelligence is required in all economic development to create structures that reward efficiency and eliminate negative externalities that degrade the ecosphere. Plain predatory capitalism has a partner in ecospheric predatory capitalism that burns the planks of the wooden ship in effect in order to power the boilers and make the passengers more comfortable. That sort of capitalism with its corporate raiders is grossly irresponsible. Adam Smith probably would have recognized that the paradigm of free enterprise and capitalism should be tailored to fit the empirical challenges of a society instead of relying upon government to solve the problems and challenges to society that cannot be ignored except and human peril.

I should point out, for those that haven’t thought about it, that capital is nothing more than wealth accumulated in about any form. Free enterprise is one way to build capital, yet even socialists and communist can be capitalists; that acquisition of capital is sought after by communist managers that may be ecospheric predators (in Africa and elsewhere for example) can also practice the usual predatory capitalism people are more familiar with. 


Free enterprise isn’t the sole method for building capital; it is just the most efficient and generally satisfactory way for the people if properly regulated to prevent the over-concentration of wealth that inhibits egalitarian free enterprise. When communists redistribute capital they are not in the least reluctant to practice predatory capitalism.

Russian, Chinese or FB Election Interference in Iowa?

With the complete fiasco of the Iowa Primary election results it is surprising that Russian election interference, or perhaps that of Ukraine, wasn't blamed for putting a rotten app in the barrel to sour the pie. Someday when the winner is known the Democrat Party may turn toward tasking a special Schiff inquisition to find a phone call between the President and a foreign head of state to encourage 2020 election interference in Iowa, New Hampshire and other states.

Democrats Seek to Scuttle High Frontier Lunar Development

Democrats in Congress are trying to scuttle the high frontier plan to develop a lunar base camp for exploration of the solar system and beyond. Instead they propose to send one mission to claim Mars in 2033 at tremendous public cost. While it would be good to claim Mars, look what happened to Lunar development after the United States arrived first more than a half century ago- nothing.

The United States has a lot of frontier experience; it was initially a frontier nation and the lessons learned from Perry and Byrd, Armstrong, Lewis and Clark etc are still relevant. In fact one may look at expeditions to frontiers or climbing Mt. Everest to discover that a base camp at an advanced location is common. Frontier forts for the U.S. Army supported eventual civilian settlements; the Moon is the base camp for the solar system and its use will be shared with other nations eventually.

The Democrat Party with its socialist trend and habit of running up vast public debt should realize that with the way things are going presently the United States may well not be able to afford an easily chopped expensive mission to Mars. Incompetent health care plans that leave out the poor and globalization plus too high of a military pay scale are driving public debt higher. Democrats refused to continue to win the Cold War after the Clinton administration as it should have with partnership with Russia in numerous areas of mutual interest, business and military concerns. All that was required was to share the Ukraine with Russia along the Dnieper River border and recognize the Crimea as Russia. Peace with Russia with friendly relations with Russia was and is a primary U.S. concern for the rationally minded. Good relations with Russia mean a cheaper defense cost and better, cheaper defense against China. Democrats though are spaced out posturers that believe trashing U.S. financial infrastructure will help advance socialism and/or communism.

Democrats don't really care about space development and human ventures that draw in the best of free enterprise people with engineers like the Tesla guy innovating Mars missions from a Moon base, or just sending chimps to Mars from a moon base to break ground for future Democrat Mars astrobureaucrats.

It is possible that an advanced working lunar base could act to synergize beneficial technologies for the Earth's near-term survival of a number of approaching potential disasters from global warming to asteroid defense. The far side could provide good locations for the study of the Universe as well. Alternatively, Mars is a very sketchy locale for near-term benefit to the Earth in a survival paradigm. Mars is better for gradual colonization with steady methodical advances from all parties venturing from the moon base.

Democrat's Kick Off Their Presidential 2020 Race in Iowa

When the Iowa caucuses begin in several hours the Democrats of the state face the onerous chore of choosing one of the motley crew of candidates to be their nominee for President. The line-up of Democrat candidates is appropriately representative of a decadent nation and so is slightly out-of-phase with the present national condition if not the course of public affairs.

If Democrats actually wanted to elect a President the former first lady Michelle Obama is possible the sole candidate capable of defeating President Trump. Former Sect. of State John Kerry is another prospect if the Democrats want to pretend to have a mature attitude toward governing.

With such an untrustworthy and motley crew of candidates that are the party's equivalent of the McCain vs Obama 2008 contest some sort of environmental economic write-in candidate with military experience should be located to supplant the eventual losing choice the party is forced to choose from. 

Democrats in the House proved during their kangaroo court of impeachment that if the President of the United States asks a  foreign President phrase A it is equivalent to phrase B. That is, President Trump asked the Ukraine President to investigate Hunter Biden's odd payments and possible corruption as a board member of a Ukraine corporation in which he had no experience and received handsome payments. Democrats continue to interpret that as President Trump asked the Ukraine President to interfere in the U.S. Presidential election of 2020.

If a high school or college history teacher asked students on a test question what President Trump asked President Zelensky for concerning a criminal investigation in a phone call, it isn't likely that the answer 'he asked Zelensky to interfere in the 2020 U.S. Presidential election" would be accepted. With many such answers the student would flunk the test. No matter, that sort of exchange works fine for Democrats, strict, plain technical and logical language isn't required of Democrat politicians any more. If Rep Schiff wanted to explain that what President Trump asked President Zelensky in the phone call was for a cow to jump over the moon, that would be acceptable and fine for House Democrats. So why can't they find a normal candidate to run for President and exchange him or her for all of the ones presently running in Iowa?

Of course there are too many environmental insults to mention individually. The atmosphere is warming, the oceans are rising, species are undergoing human-caused mass extinctions and the oceanic cradle of life is becoming acidic and wreaking damage to shellfish.

Numerous unnecessary conflicts such as that of Ukraine are a consequence of political leaders chasing after money instead of peace and prosperity for a world made to work together cooperatively. Democrats have supported war there instead of peace with Russia yet have also said they will put forward a green infrastructure plan costing 760 billion dollars U.S., probably because the impeachment of President Trump failed.

Humanity with an introverted macro-worldview cannot usually see the woods for the individual trees that seem such objects made for profit. As humanity burns the planks of its ecosphere for more financial velocity it also invents technology that accelerates dangers of democide with biological weapons and once again increases nuclear weapons proliferation.

Thankfully the human race may create a sustainable and independent Moon colony soon and after that, a Martian colony so a tiny fraction of the human race could theoretically survive the planets’ destruction. I am confident that human political leadership will discover some way to nip though survivors in the bud and assure the extinction of the entire human race- at the very moment when it is most burgeoning in numbers with global overpopulation.

It is somewhat funny that humanity can invent so many tools and technology and have no capacity to use it reasonably with ecospheric zoning criteria that keep the world’s ecosphere safely healthy and intact. The simplest way is to restore large wilderness areas amidst metropolitan population centers with new technology prevent harm to humans from wildlife.  I shouldn’t mention all of the optimistic and excellent prospects that exist for the human future if they can solve the world-view problems they have endemically.

 A need to synergize free enterprise with ecospheric restoration need be made with economic and political economy reform and that sort of thing though simple paradigmatically is probably beyond the world-view paucity found in at least most U.S. politicians.
