The Scheveningen variation of the Sicilian defence  is a good alternative to the Naijdorf. In blitz an opponent make make an error when in a hurry. Playing black, I used just 5 seconds to make five moves and the opponent resigned. That almost never happens so I thought I would share the game.

  Americans have readily accepted that President Trump was born in the U.S.A. How can they be certain though that his father Fred Trump did not have the birth certificate faked as a Judge in New York State empowered to do so?

Fred Trump was an entrepreneur and son of a German immigrant who might readily have taken his wife back to Bochum Germany to give birth and let his son have a stake in the great Saurkraut producing nation.

A Shill's Trap for Trump (Jr.) to Benefit Hillary?

Democrats have been carefully building a bad-Russian platform to attack the Trump Presidency as if it were a vast siege engine placed before a castle's wall. The lawyer was a woman who insinuated insider ties to the Kremlin with the salacious sort of insider dirt in which live worms of disgust amidst ruins of ancient, lost civilizations. Regardless of the source, the bait of new dirt on Hillary would have been tantalizing to anyone working in a tight race against her.

That would have been known to the lawyer who may actually have been acting in anyone's employ. Even before the Nov. election Democrats were attacking Trump for allegedly receiving help from Moscow. If they had they would have known that the lawyer was a shill without a Kremlin portfolio. As it was, she may have been a Democrat, Hillary, Shetland pony Trojan horse placed at the back of Trump castle to be taken in for later 'proof' of Trump's hidden Russian communist party agenda.

Updates to the story suggest that a former British tabloid journalist and current entertainment publicist arranged the meeting for an Azerbajani-Russian entertainer. These people hadworked with Trump's 2013 Miss Universe pagent held in Moscow and apparently had no qualms about deceiving Donald Jr. One wonders if they were cut-outs for behind the scenes British martinets who were opposed to the Trump Presidency.

Social Traditions; 6th Mass Extinction and Socratic Irony

Recently I completed a course on Kierkegaard and Socratic irony. It was an excellent view into how Kierkegaard interpreted Socrates and the Socratic method of finding the truth through questioning tradition and finding why what people believe is wrong. Kierkegaard applied that process even to the church and its ossified ecclesiology, wherein people did not find Christ for-themselves

Tradition and history are important for cultural continuity. Yet it isn’t an either/or criterion of choice challenging people. That is people may and even must question tradition in order to refine or reform it- as Luther did, and as contemporary Christian clergy seem to have forgotten to. A priesthood of believers for example, is possible today to actualize Luther’s notation that all Christians are priests. Instead a variety of higher-class Christians are out seeking 10% tithes and to make other Christians pew-sitting passive sheep instead of peer evangelists. Levitical tithing was in effect 1% for “non-working priests”  as 10% every third year divided in three parts equals 1%.

Philosophical method is an approach to considering reality and knowledge about it. I read philosophy and history as do many others, as well of course as the Bible and theology. Even so many traditions are wrong as human social evolution is always a work-in-progress. Society needs to increase its thermodynamic efficiency and decrease global warming gas emissions from automobiles that produce 51% of the greenhouse gas from the U.S.A. Society needs to quit accelerating the Holocene mass extinction, and to cover the poor with free direct health-care. There are so many traditions that require reform that it is hard to ask for ossification as tradition.

The U.S. Government had a $25 million dollar reward for his capture (or death?), and if the latter, Russia is probably eligible for the prize. If the government must pay out 25 million dollars to the arch-enemy of Nancy Pelosi and the Atlantic, New York TImes and CNN, it would probably be epecially bitter for them.
