Odds Are a Quarter of Alaska Permafrost Will Melt by 2100
The
likely melt-down of a quarter of Alaska’s permafrost by the year
2100 isn’t good for several reasons the least of which is not that
it will allow more methane to be released into the atmosphere.
Methane is an extreme greenhouse gas. As arctic permafrost melts, methane gases rises to the top through new fast tracks to trade the dark of deep chtonic gloom for the aery blue sky
It's
bad enough that just 25 state and corporate producers release the
majority of human sourced greenhouse gases, and with permafrost
melting allow more biogenic methane and apparently geologic methane
to trickle up to the atmosphere from deep containment the prospects
for an age more suitable for dinosaurs looks good. It is lucky that
genetic engineering may allow restoration of dinosaurs before
humanity dies from heat exhaustion.

Republicans Can’t Repeal or Replace Obamacare (Lethargy of the Prosperous)
Republicans can’t
repeal or replace Obamacare; they just aren't terribly motivated to act or think on it.
Though President
Trump urges Republicans to repeal and replace Obamacare before the
August delinquency most people know they aren’t really serious
about it. Repealing it is plainly possible even with Senators like
Lisa Murkowski out there, if there was some reasonable at least
partial replacement.
A full replacement
designed by the aloof elites of either party probably is just another
way to put the nation in debt, victimize the poor and enrich the
rich.
A repeal with a good
partial replacement; doubling or tripling the size of the V..A. Hospital system of 168 Medical Centers and 1233 clinics and
treatment facilities and treating poor civilians too (earning fewer
than $20,000 annually would be a very defensible remedy. Who can
oppose creating good medical treatment for the poor and Veterans? The
system already treats 9 million veterans.
Expanding clinics
designed to treat the poor to lower middle class that exist in most
states and coordinating that service seamlessly with the V.A. system
would create a substantial and effective medical safety net for those
that cannot actually afford medical services when they need it.
Consider some of the fraud for profit in Medicare and Medicaid services when people know the government or corporate must pay for services; people run up the cost just because they can and that is costly in the long run. And an inefficient way to provide medical services.

The people that earn
a lot of money and just want better and more expensive services for
life extension really are a separate issue that should be solved
independently. The approach government takes to lower the cost of any
service or goods should be carefully though out in order not to
damage free enterprise and saddle the nation with an ineffective and
stagnant medical system.
EU's Shabby Treatment of Israel is for Lucre and History
The
EU has placed onerous conditions upon its relationship with Israel
consistent with its historical anti-semitic bias and will to extract
profits from the large Muslim nations south of the Mediterranean. It
is probably that simple and PM Netanyahu evidently has trouble
understanding that.
Germany
and France like to sell nuclear technology to Iran when they can, and
the U.S. is as cozy as it can be to the Muslims of the region. Cheap
oil produced domestically probably won't change American elite
inertia of sucking up to Muslim oil producers.
Europe
is also increasingly a godless, atheist evil cult of neo-Romantic
nihilistic cellulars of privilege tat perhaps disdain a religiously
inclined nation such as Israel, unless they have lots of oil or pose
a threat.
Should Malorossiya Be Asked to Join NATO?
The recently declared independent state of Malorossiya that was liberated by patriots from Ukraine could be a good country for admission to NATO to help defend against any invaders of Russia or Europe from three directions. It is something to think about.

Starting Extra-Terrestrial Grunge Construction With 3-D Printing
N.A.S.A. has been investing in start-up 3-D contruction research for building shelters on Mars. Dirt on Mars (or the Moon) could be used as a building material perhaps with binding agents such as water from Martian ice producing some sort of material. There may be myriad ways to innovate basic Martian grunge construction for shelters with machines like 3-D printers before any human dwellings commence.

One would like to have a proof-of-concept machine construction project on the Moon that uses natural lunar materials and nothing else (especially not rare Lunar ice). It might be possible to extract metal from lunar regolith, melt and forge them into buiding components.
