I
am late in getting into the discussion of the controversial
language. When the weather is tough getting over the water to town
isn’t safely feasible. Decades without electricity or road slow
life down a bit. I heard the word shithole
on national public radio that I had forgotten existed. Shithole;
nothing
can be tuned in practically here besides NPR. I think of NPR as the
shithole dynasty. Asshole
isn’t a racist term. Every human race has many assholes in
politics. When a critical mass of assholes exist within an
organization they convert the organization to shithole status.
Shithole is thus the plural, superlative form of assholes.
Idi
Amin’s Uganda, Pol Pot’s Cambodia, Adolph Hitler’s Nazi Germany
and its death camps, Joseph Stalin’s Soviet Union- those assholes
made shitholes of their worlds. Shitholes pave paradise and put up
parking lots. The BP Horizon gulf oil blowout was a shithole.
Shitholes spill millions of gallons of crude oil offshore, they gyve
vast tax cuts to the most rich and seek waves to make the lives of
the poor, worse. Any African nation that a white man or woman can’t
walk about in for a couple of months without a good chance of being
kidnapped, incarcerated, tortured, blown up, beheaded or other killed
is a shithole nation. In fact that standard applies to South American
nations too. Asshole political leadership in the mass media and in
politics convert healthy societies, or potentially societies and
nations into the despond of crude shithole living. People should seek
to live better lives in their own nation than, as it were, suffering
in a shithole led by assholes.
One
Haitian I worked for said the United States is a spread legged woman
waiting foreign entry. Democrats like that relationship. Some
satisfied corrupt political leaders need power and conflict, protest
and demographic support because they lack good ideas about economic
reform. Fishy leaders view society imperially-for-themselves .The
response from the oppressed is to brexit and let the chips fall where
they may. Democrats are about supporting foreign immigrant invasion
legally and otherwise, supporting foreign drug trafficking
importation and widespread dope usage, and other policies that allow
greater tax cuts and power shifts to the most rich plutocrats.
Doubling U.S. population just once to reach 660 million would be fine
for happy empowered women with fine carpets dope and bureaucrat desks
even if they are packed in like sardines and like that nude comfort
and familiarity while the lone wolf is just a natural history museum
shadow. Democrats will say that border defense is futile and cannot
be improved with more fencing, that women should brings leis to the
border instead and the age of Aquarius will dawn in a sort of
delusional Nurse Ratchet approach to real history based international
relations paradigm.
There are a few old words that were
deemed obscene long ago by the FCC the left hasn’t forced up into
mainstream TV. Words similar to shithole are shitstick
and shitheel.
President Trump is no Lenny Bruce or Eddie Murphy Live Raw; at least
he didn’t use the N-word that is restricted properly for the
exclusive use of black rappers. It is an unladylike word; no queer
eye for the fudd guy about it.
In fact I had to think about an
hour before I remembered where and what the term meant...it isn’t
racist originally, although offended African national leaders and
others who misunderstand the original meaning of the word apparently
want it to be so for political purposes about being offended.
President Trump Alledgedly dumped
the shithole
word. It was amusing to hear NPR reporting on the ‘obscene
language’ of the President this morning as they set him up like a
T-ball for criticism from an El Salvadoran facing deportation. The
broadcast media itself is a shithole of sporadic organized air-head
word-crime twits owned by the rich. If the president wants to have
his head as a hologram floating alongside the stone faces of Mt.
Rushmore he will need to get free wireless information superhighway
Internet 5G lanes to every rural town fast lest they be shithole
cities until a Democrat
takes office (G.d forbid) (every day we thank G.d that Hillary wasn’t
elected).
Neil Diamond, a Canadian, sang that
people are still coming to America. He must have understood that
everyone wants to leave their shithole nation and move to the land of
the rich. Shithole nations have a Wall Street equivalent rating
two-hundred percent below junk bond status. How can the United States
help shithole nations repair themselves and end the need for there
people to flee foreign shitholes? In part one of this report covering
shithole nations we shall endeavor to understand just what a shithole
nation is. In the second part we shall examine the history of good
immigrants to the United States such as Olaf and Magda Nordic,
inventors of the Norwegian flashlight (a stick with a candle on the
end), and learn how foreigners may become more like Olaf and Magda;
model migrant blitz chess stars.
Why might a nation be regarded as a
shithole? The word is an American neologism that quickly assesses the
condition of a place. In the mid 20th
century the term was commonly used to describe the condition of
housing...hence a housing developer or an ordinary civilian giving a
summary opinion of a home in disrepair might describe it as a
shithole.
Interestingly the word shithole as
a pejorative evaluative adjective preceded the era of television. The
early days of television had strict federal controls on the use of
obscenity that disappeared later through radio and then cable TV.
Vulgar language became de rigeur in stand up comedy in the United
States driving crude and obscene language inti broadcasting where it
took root. Yet many words that were somewhat vulgar or obscene were
not resurrected for common use in the new era post-censorship of
crude and obscene language. A generation or two since before and
after the FCC era of complete censorship of obscenity had never heard
some of the more rich vulgar American neologisms. They were clean,
detoxified from incorrect obscenities generations fed manure and kept
in the dark, trained for mindless dopey allegiance to fake
imperialism policies concentrating wealth.
A
nation cannot become shithole with simple evils like nuclear plant
meltdowns, toxic waste dumps, bleeding super-fund sites, vast
left-wing public debt, leaking offshore oil platforms etc. it
requires a personal touch of shabby housing. Can an entire nation
rise to the point of being considered to be a shithole, and is a
shithole a synonym for hellhole?
A
country with pestilential swamps, extreme oppressive heat, rampant
public corruption, high murder rates, terrible housing and very slow
or no Internet speed might well be described by a visitor as a
shithole regardless of the race of the people that live there. Any
nation with royalty is de facto a shithole nation. Even the U.S.
Congress may be regarded as a shithole congress the past few decades
since it fails ecological economic reform and capital reform in order
to keep democracy alive and make prosperity include every citizen
rather than those rising from shithole status. Non-sustainable
global economics are shithole economics that will transform the world
into hellhole status like as not. Maybe the documentary movie Silent
Spring presented the
ideal non-shithole world free of hellholes with DDT for every
problem; the shithole of a world with crawly insects and creepy
biological life besides suburbanites that dropped bird do do on
chemically treated lawns manicured to a perfect green, better,
replaced with synthetic astro turf.
If an investor had considered
buying real estate in that country and thus sent an inspector to look
it over before purchase and asked the inspector what he thought of it
upon his return, the inspector might provide a simple dismissive
judgment that ‘it’s a shithole’, ending any interest in buying
into it.
If President Trump used the word
shithole to describe nations that should not be included as sources
of migrants to the United States, it would have been a rare public
use of an American neologism that was far more common several decades
ago. Yemen, Somalia, Venezuela and North Korea today be thought of as
shithole nations except by those that voted for homosexual marriage
in the U.S. judiciary, and hence be on the Department of Homeland
Security’s list of most unliked shithole nations.
Simple reflection upon the point of
view a building developer of a certain class might have comparing for
example, the Mar a largo resort to the accommodation available
generally in the Congo or Haiti, inform one that Haiti is a shithole
in comparison in the lexicon of the developer. The term might hurt
feelings yet it would be realistic.
Traditional America is a land of
the rich free of shitholes. The most rich Americans have been given
vast tax cuts in order to pay a very low tax rate on personal income
at just 21% to help them remain in good ‘digs’ and out of
‘shitholes’. With such great wealth being concentrated following
on President Obama’s compelling levering of vast Bush tax cuts
permanently into law during his administration, it is just possible
that the United States may stop its slippery slope slide into abject
shithole condition. A physical and moral shithole with dilapidated
housing, homosexual marriage, communal soup kitchens where masses
suffer and even the most rich must subsist on meager rations of
cracker and bowl before retiring to their cardboard hut in the alley;
those are just the beginnings of sorrows (not to mention arm-chopping
machete).
Any nation that has failed to
develop an ecologically sustainable infrastructure and that relies on
fossil fuel vehicles polluting the air and accelerating global
atmospheric heating may be said to be a shithole nation. Any nation
that has a majority of housing with bad paint jobs that a city must
be ashamed of; with mold growing, peeling paint and fading colors
could reasonably be regarded as a shithole nation. Any nation with a
tax rate on the most rich of fewer than 75% on personal income is in
danger of becoming a shithole nation as its infrastructure and
political forces become nothing more than toys for those living in
the gilded age.
African nations and any others
living in dire poverty should thank President trump for reminding
them that they too can aspire to live in a gilded age with bright
light, asphalt parking lots and high quality condos as far as the eye
can see. Good opulent nations glowing in the dark, shimmering in the
dawn, palatial estates where celebrities gather to share the cocaine
and opiods, good music and unlimited chips. It is important to know
that the entire planet can have quality indoor carpeting and SUVs
with creme de minthe filled jacuzzi baths one day, and the cruel
reality of living in shithole nations will fade into distant memories
that no one remembers.
A
famous journalist returning from an extended stink as a foreign
correspondent was asked once, during an interviewing, where he was
staying. He replied; ina dumpster downtown...ha ha, no I am staying
ina nice house. Obviously he understood what shitholes many people
live in around the world and the misery of the life of shithole
dwelling peoples. What can be done to stop the most rich from having
their lifestyles fall into shithole condition?
Democrats stole the thunder of tax
cuts making for the most rich during the Obama years and Republicans
had their arms twisted to get their mojos back and wrest the title
for tax cuts servo-unit making machines of the rich for themselves.
They accomplished that, yet Wall Street and the big banks are forever
endangered with the prospect of shit holezation looming over the
horizon. In some future administration the congress will likely take
up the idea of providing earned income credits for the most rich,
perhaps crediting them with a 10 percent tax credit on their income
to thank them for being so rich and benefiting so many people for
being examples of how not to live in shitholes.
