Tesla Need Jobs-Style Innovations to Remain Competitive

Tesla needs to continue to improve its product and deliver new forms of electric vehicles. Musk should take a page from Steve Jobs playbook and innovate better. Maybe electric ATVs and portable solar recharging panels are a way to go.

Assuredly Tesla's aren't convertibles or jeepish. The Tesla truck while innovative is ugly and one can't lay a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back, like many modern trucks that really aren't useful as pick ups.

Neither does Tesla produce Dune Buggies. The range of the product line is limited and better, cheaper foreign competition undermines the sales. Teslas are just too bloody expensive. Maybe tariffs on the competition will save Tesla.
