Plato's realm of forms has similarities with the contemporary theory of time as an illusion since it is an emergent characteristic, locally, of quantum entanglement. A substrate, fundamental reality without time is thought to be actual. Human perceptions of the heterodox provide a time experience. This is comparable to Tegmark's level four Multiverse paradigm derived I suppose from Everett's many world hypothesis.
