Harris Rolls Dice on Winning Ukraine without Nuclear War (How the World May End)

 When I learned that the Biden-Starmer-Harris crew were considering giving permission to Ukraine to attack Russia with N.A.T.O. long range missiles Friday the 13^th (does that increase the gravity or the irony) that was the first time in my life that I had considered the prospect that nuclear war could follow Saturday. The Harris-Biden-Starmer team is playing nuclear chicken with Russia; a game at a higher level with potential for liberal deaths for all.

Following several years of top hand on the baseball bat mode of escalation with Russia in the use of conventional weapons to turn the tide of war there way, the Harris-Biden-Starmer entity failed to recognize the different context having nearly reached the W.M.D. level. It is a glass ceiling completely opaque to the Starmer-Harris-Biden entity. They should not aspire to reach that top floor.

I could think about the second weekend of NFL football games and the lesser, peripheral concern of potential global thermonuclear war brought to the U.S.A. and the rest of the world thanks to the historically illiteracy of the Harris-Biden-Starmer entity as a multi-tasking venture. When the first N.B.A. game is played in late October concerns about nuclear war will be muted with remote control. For most Americans it is more convenient to focus on important issues such as football, and not on unrewarding ones like terrorists with nuclear, biological or chemical weapons.

The Ukraine-the borderlands, have been a target of western conquest for centuries. Poland, France and Germany among others have invaded Russia to seize land. The gamble that Russia won’t use nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction to defend its historical region of existence when pummeled by a vast array of western military power is a bad one. It is a paradox that mothers against drunk driving would probably advocate Harris for President if they did such endorsements yet would not have a concern about candidate Harris’ full-bodied support of war with Russia over Ukraine. The Democrat feminine vote evidently does not regard nuclear war as anything more than externality or a bluff, yet it isn’t.

If N.A.T.O. begins attacking deep within Russia with Ukrainian cut outs the premise is that Russia cannot retaliate on the west because all of the N.A.T.O. nations would attack en mass because of treaty obligations. There are numerous cut outs available for Russia to use to attack London, Paris, Amsterdam and Los Angeles with nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. ISIS, Hezbollah, Taliban and other Muslim groups in contact with Russia’s Iranian allies come to mind; they might be too happy to supply clandestine infiltrators to deliver a gallon of novachuck nerve agent, a suitcase nuke in a homeless guy’s backpack or a designer virus. Plausible deniability would cover each as the nuclear weapons could have been stolen during the era following the end of the Soviet Union when they were left unsecured across former Soviet territories.

India and China’s leaders met recently with President Putin perhaps to discuss what response should be taken to a war upgraded to an existential threat on Russia’s existence by the Biden-Harris-Starmer entity. Tactical nuclear weapons- perhaps neutron bombs with the beryllium sheathing absent, might be employed to counter Ukrainian advances into Russia along with or without full-bodied N.A.T.O. invasions of Russia after the initial round of weapons fo mass destruction are deployed. Russia hasn’t proven ability to defeat conventional western attack on Russia. Candidate Harris called Candidate Trump ‘weak’ at the debate and said that Putin would ‘eat his lunch’. Ms. Harris is a completely enthusiastic votary of Democrat Kool-Aid narratives on Russian-Ukraine-Clinton history. She is determined that conventional war to recover all of Ukraine for western power need proceed. Plainly Candidate Harris is incompetent with global economics, history and military affairs and acts with a cognitive deficit in failing to perceive the likelihood of nuclear war with her partisan, one-sided war policy. The war is harmful to U.S. economic interests and is an existential and possibly Eleatic ,Empirical, Metaphysical and even pluralist threat as well. No matter how hard Ms. Harris acts to spend hundreds of billions more on that war it will fail militarily syncopation even though she may intend to litigate nuclear war and win.

I should point out the the late Harvard historian Henry Kissinger was against the war, and other professors of Russian history realized that Russia would not accept the loss of all of Ukraine and the Crimea without a fight. The political insanity of the Democrat party is barely making a ripple on their political pond of thought. Drunk with power Democrats believe they cannot lose and need not share Ukraine with its historical Russian owner, and in that regard they are probably wrong. It is bad risk to gamble on world civilization not ending with nuclear brinkswomanship continuing year to year.

Before closing this post I will try presenting the conflict from a Russian point of view so far as I understand it. Russia regards the Ukraine as part of Russia stolen by the west repeatedly and lately at the end of the Cold War. Because President Clinton stole Ukraine once more by levering the last Soviet President Boris Yeltsin into giving it up to an independent status instead of insisting that Russia keep it, Democrat Presidents ever since have reinforced the theft and developed a belligerent attitude toward Russia by building up N.A.T.O. membership after the end of the Cold War when peace and economic development should have made that unnecessary. For Russia the west plainly was intending something that wasn’t good, and preparing for a war that it probably realized would need to occur eventually when Russia recovered from the break up of the Soviet Union and was militarily stronger.

Western leadership has historically made war on Russia to take as much of the country as it could, usually without success, Hitler and Napoleon among others. They are pretending with false consciousness that Ukraine is historically an independent nation like that of Germany, England and Poland etc and that Russia is simply waging a war of aggression. That is a dissimulation of historical truth, yet a dissimulation they would assert so far as to bring the world to the brink of nuclear conflict over Ukraine. Sharing Ukraine perhaps with a border along the Dnepr would be a practical political adjustment yet is one that so far the west has eschewed in preference to war.

The United States has sent hundreds of billions of dollars of weapons to Ukraine and that was partially matched by N.A.T.O. members. The unelected President of Western Ukraine wants to use U.S. and N.A.T.O weapons to attack old Russia as well as recovered Russian Ukraine targets like the Donbas and Crimea. Russian leadership apparently will stipulate and tolerate

to a certain extent N.A.T.O. weapons being used in Ukraine, because Russia too can use third party supplied weapons in Ukraine. Yet N.A.T.O. weapons used to attack outside Ukraine; to attack old Russia would be different. For Russia to be equal it would need to attack N.A.T.O. members in retaliation. Ukraine is the bone of contention and N.A.T.O. members and old Russia should be left out of targeting with missiles for parity. Evidently the British P.M. and other leaders want to argue against parity and equanimity and claim that Ukraine is already an independent nation that Russia is attacking and therefore N.A.T.O. weapons can be used to attack Russia. That is itself is a new doctrine with the premise that any nation regarded by N.A.T.O. as having invaded another can be targeted with N.A.T.O. missiles. The nuclear war at the end of the road is not a civil argument over property among lawyers.

 Was village life the compassionate conservative Utopia it is sometimes held by liberals to be? Villages did have muddy streets with Neo-feral pigs running amok about them eating whatever they could find. Outhouse were often within walking distance unlike modern urban areas where one need walk a mile to find a Starbucks with toilets that can be utilized for the purchase of a seven-dollar mochafrappe.

  Village life in European locales allowed accountant free peasant living since the local Nobel owned the land and crops produced by countless hours of toil and sweat. Women’s rights to labor in the home annually during their reproductive years followed the ecstatic pleasure of the Nobel taking first use of a newly wed wife on the wedding night followed by a few decades of servicing the oaf.

  Peasants received free military service opportunities with rival Nobels often being at war. Nobel lands were bucolic settings for the original cores of Hatfields and McCoys. Student loans were forgiven a priori for peasants because they received no education besides practical free on the job training in careers servitude swine herding, haying, mucking stables and such for the Nobel. Peasants in Utopian primitive communism shared equally in starvation during lean times when the Nobel’s wars cost the peasant’s winter food supplies in taxes to finance. The Lord Jesus was nearly stoned and thrown from a cliff in his own home village. Swift prosecution of non-conformist ideas with death by villagers saved the public the exorbitant costs of appellate judicial review.

Occasionally bouts of bubonic plague were liberally compensated with no-cost burials for villagers. Foreign imports weren’t much of a problem in not much existing with copious tariffs on goods costing fewer than 800 quid snipping that sort of direct trade off by the balls. Nobels knew the wisdom of stopping villagers from engaging in direct trade with foreign producers that cut out the Nobel middlemen that owned big table retailers.

Conclusion; Village life was somewhat Utopian although it was mostly village idiots that believed it smoking dope for aesthetic relativism.

 

Democrat Part of Deceit, Accusations and Lies

 Democrats are the party of accusations, lies and deceits. After they started the civil war to keep their tradition of slavery alive and lost they were kept out of the Presidential office until F.D.R.- a northerner, took office to usher in the Second World War. Sure Hitler was to blame, yet F.D.R. did lead the U.S.A. into a war that some genius might have found a way to honorably avoid through some clever theoretical politics.

President Truman faced the same challenge as F.D.R. in having a war thrust upon him in Korea and failing to find a way to develop a theoretical political way of settling the dispute without armed conflict. He did however fire General MacArthur who wanted to end the communist regime in China then. The present Chinese government in a way may be regarded as the legacy of the Democrat Party’s Harry Truman, who also dropped the first two atomic bombs ever used in war.

The Democrat Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson each got the Vietnam war started and burning strongly for more than a decade without being able to find a way to avoid or conclude it. Kennedy and Johnson also failed to do anything more than exacerbate the Cold War with the Soviet Union. The Cuban Missile Crisis and Bay of Pigs were notable incidents, Francis Gary Power’s U-2 flight was shot down in Soviet air space. No reduction of nuclear arms build up occurred during Kennedy and Johnson administrations-quite the opposite in fact developed.

President Nixon- a Republican elected in 1968 after  Democrat youth rioting outside the Chicago Democrat National convention could not prevent the party from running the Minnesotan Hubert Humphrey from taking the party nomination to lose in November, ended the Vietnam War with a gradual draw down and sent the late Henry Kissinger to Beijing (or Peking as it was known too) to begin diplomacy to develop normal diplomatic relations and economic ties. That process continued after Nixon was forced from office for the Watergate burglar, Nixon said that he thought the country was undergoing civil war.

President Reagan- a Republican, ended the Cold War working with Soviet President Gorbachev. He hoped to end the threat of nuclear weapons and to develop a united, peaceful Europe and world economic environment.

President Clinton- a Democrat, was convicted of perjury lying to congress. He took the Ukraine- the borderlands, away from Russia where it belonged, from the totally weak final Soviet President Boris Yeltsin in the transition to a post Soviet new world order. Of all the nations that ad there full independence restored by the Soviet troop withdrawal starting at the end of the Reagan administration, Russia was the only nation that lost land rather than recovering it, like Germany had for instance. The theft of Ukraine from re-emerging Russia  set the stage for the present Ukraine-Russia war.

Democrats under the Obama and Biden administrations built up N.A.T.O. eastward in former Warsaw Pact nations presenting an existential threat to Russia. They supplied vast weapons inventories to Ukraine even before the Crimean reconquista by the armed forces of Russia. Following the reconquista  a vast range of sanctions, dire threats and imprecations were placed on Russia and Russians-including seizures of the assets of Russian millionaires and billionaires, some of whom had economically benefited the Clinton Foundation. The countdown to conflict in Ukraine steadily built until climax after the election of President Biden.

Democrats elected just lawyers for President after Harry Truman’s one term administration. They returned to the successful F.D.R. model of lawyers who felt law and government structures were entirely malleable tools for Democrat Party power, in effect made to support Democrat party goals. The modern civil rights movements came to be understood as the anti-strait white male civil rights movement. Special interests rights were custom legislated. Antipathetic language became proscribed as ‘hate speech’. The concept of law as impartial justice that should prevail in democracy was lost.

 In democracy the purpose of the law isn’t to implement an abstract concept of justice or retribution. Its essential reason for being to to let individuals live securely and pursue their self-interest. In an authoritarian government alternatively the purpose of law is to reinforce the power and will of the ruling class. Though the democrats have not gone full-hog authoritarian or royal, that is the direction they are headed. Sometimes the particular genius of a ruling class needed to take power is to have the support of the masses in so doing. Plebeians supported Julius Caesar. His son Octavian known as Augustus was more  the most powerful Senator rather than emperor yet still required support of the commons.

After Charles Darwin’s publication his evolution theory and the rise of pragmatism and investigations into truth theory gradually people lost faith in not only the belief in God and the veracity of the Bible, because of its different creation narrative fro that of Darwin’s Origin of the Species, fascism developed in Europe and a concept that truth was entirely subjective arose. The Copenhagen Interpretation of quantum mechanics brought even the nature of reality to be questioned. Secularists might well believe nothing is real and that subjective epistemology and subjective perception actual determined what the content of the objective world is that was subjectively perceived. That idea was itself incomplete, and reality was not solipsistically homodox (is that a word?), it was instead heterodox though far more complex than was or could be definitively understood, even by philosophers and cosmologists.

Even so the popular notion that truth was self-defined and proprietary made lying more acceptable. Democrats gradually learned to apply the premise of ‘kill them all and let God sort them out later with truth replacement theory. With truth replacement theory it is better to accuse first, best and far more often than to be a passive defender with lame opposition denials to accusations. Political pejorative use-truths (ref Sartre) were justifiable and common. The big lie; the colonialist’s false interpretation of events, became normal for the Democrat Party and intensified following Al Gore’s loss to George W. Bush in the 2000 Presidential election where after the party went full lunatic use-truth civil war with Republicans, though that was suspended for a time after the Sept 11, 2001 terror attacks. 

Democrats use-truths brought them to full accusatory mode on President Trump’s first term of office when they brought with all of their power the accusation of Russian collusion with Donald Trump to become elected. It was a ludicrous and false charge continued for years, followed by an impeachment and every possible charge they could send his way. Democrat Party lawyers continued their prosecutorial mode even running a former prosecuting attorney for President vs Donald Trump seeking re-election. For Democrats prosecuting Russia in  with all conventional weapons in order to win the court battle for truth (the Democrat Party has an historically false narrative of Russia’s relation to Ukraine) will continue until nuclear war is achieved and victory is theirs. With the existential criteria of subjective definition of truth the Democrat Party isn’t able to quit its prosecution of war for there is no other means (what is peace and sharing?).

Because the mainstream broadcast media and much of the main Internet social media corporations fill their ranks with Democrat Party affirmative action legacy employees that media entirely supports the Democrat Party narrative use-truths. Because Democrat Presidents founded so many wars and military conflicts (even President Obomba fomented several Middle East and North African conflicts and helped build up the anti-Russia approach for European and N.A.T.O. politics militarily) and are totally invested in war with Russia over Ukraine (possibly just in Ukraine) there is no main stream broadcast media opposition to the war as there was in Vietnam. American youthful voters and Democrat Party members are somewhat paralyzed into inaction in opposition to the party narrative and what is likely to develop into a nuclear war. The passivity of the left acquiescing to war-mongering leadership is a amazing yet edifying spectacle to experience. Maybe an explanation is the Democrat support for legal and copious dope to pacify the public.

Proxima Centauri B nine years Distant with Electro-Mag Accelerator?

 

Proxima B is the nearest planet in another star system that might allow humans to live on it with appropriate adaptations. Primarily that would entail creating a way to filter out x-rays from the sun. With conventional chemical rocket space craft it would require 80,000 years to get to Proxima Centauri B, yet if travelling at half of the speed of light the time required for the journey would be somewhere around 8 or 9 years. It is possible to create a very vast electro-magnetic accelerator somewhere within the solar system that would be 100-300 million to a trillion miles in length capable of moving a charged module habitat inside to half light speed. The spacecraft would coast the rest of the way and use ion engines to begin slowing down with the help of gravity fields of stars on the far side. E-mag accelerators may be temporal and exist just when launches are required and could be built in a variety of ways using solar and/or nuclear power sources, perhaps with solar system planetary configurations at optimal configuration to host participating fields. Why Destroy the I.S.S.?

 Why destroy the Space Station instead of moving it to L-5 or L-3 for storage? Why did Biden-Harris give Space X a contract to destroy the I.S.S. by burning it up in the Earth’s atmosphere instead of lifting it up to L-5? Should N.A.S.A. have Boeing take up bodies for cremation on the station during its fiery descent in order to make a profit? At L-5 would the I.S.S. be useful as ballast for a tethered new station or for wreck ‘diving’ for future recreational astronauts? Is it as simple as putting up and taking down a pup tent? Does N.A.S.A. have so many places in space where people can live that they don’t mind destroying actual existing structure? What about sticking an ion engine on it for a slow boost upward to L-5?

N.A.S.A. seems to lack a high frontier psychology regarding camps and safe emergency places in case something went wrong and optimal plans didn’t develop without a hitch. Pioneers don’t treat frontier posts as disposable items to jettison as soon as they can build a new one somewhere else. Like old spare farmhouses of the west that were abandoned decades before when a new home was built, old forts and farm homes and space stations should remain in existence as just in case facilities.

The I.S.S. in safe storage at a Lagrange point might be used for some presently unforeseen purpose like being an anchor point for various kinds of telescopes or communications devices. Like an old English mansion in might have additions some day to give it a new use. One might set some housekeeping and construction robot to work in it and let out the atmosphere while new components are added. Just throwing away past projects is the mind set of urban consumers of a disposable culture rather than of those accustomed to frontier challenges. What would the first explorers of Antarctica have given for a safe, warm place with a food supply on their return from the South Pole?

Kamala Harris Wants a Soviet Approach to School Security

 

With another Democrat era school shooting in Georgia Vice President Harris has advocated for the Soviet state security apparatus of internal security including schools. That is to disarm the public and terrorize political opposition throwing them into the Gulag whenever possible. The late Soviet Union had great internal security because the public were too frightened to commit crimes. Democrats may admire the living in fear lifestyle with everyone effectively locked down. Plutonium was kept on shelves in an unguarded warehouse near Moscow with just a padlock on the door for security. With strict wage and price controls, being found with an unauthorized crust of bread in one’s coat pocket was enough to merit a five-year sentence.

One-party systems seek total control of the external social world as a way to enforce the absolute power of the state. Schools have great security with no violent crimes. Yet the approach is abhorrent to free people and one the U.S.A. should not follow. School security in the United States can be made emulating the way federal buildings across the nation developed security after the McVeigh bombing of a federal building in Oklahoma City.

Democrats cannot be serious about school security with a King Canute approach to rolling back the tide of the Second Amendment with a command. Democrats are so myopic on their approach to politics that they fail to understand the consequences of their political acts when taking rash, short-term proplits. When the Soviet Union restored to national control all of the nations and properties it have taken after they came t power a half century after the end of the Second World War the only nation that was left out was Russia- President Bill Clinton arranged to wrest the Ukraine from Russia and deem it an independent nation, that it never before in history had been. That rash, importunate act was reinforced by following Democrat party U.S. Presidents unto the present day, compelling Russia to fight for its homeland when other nations including East Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Serbia etc had it given to them with the support of the West and N.A.T.O.

Perhaps Democrats sought to neutralize the nascent free enterprise based Russian state and turn it back toward communism by forcing it to defend itself against the encroachment and terrorism of the west. Russia had no choice besides renewing strongest possible relations with Socialist China and North Korea while Democrat Presidents in the United States were trying to rebuild union membership numbers and power. Vice-President Harris’ husband recently said, in so many words, that now is the time for Israel to surrender to the demands of Hamas to return to power and to have control of the Gaza-Egyptian border in order to reload with weapons for another round of war in a year or two in exchange for the return of 100 Israeli hostages. I believe that spouses of political leaders generally should not be unelected loose canons on deck weighing in on political matters. Yet the V.P’.s spouse did provide a window into the unreasoning of the Democrat presidential candidate for 2024 who probably shares the same opinion as her bigger spouse. Restoring terrorist hostage takers to political power must be the dumbest possible choice. The hostages unfortunately aren’t likely to be returned unless Hamas is beaten and they are returned in exchange for safe passage to a country without extradition. political opinions can have disastrous consequences for future Israel. Another Hamas administration probably would have more drones than it could find space for in its vast tunnel network to send in a while to blow up Jews in Israel. Iran is pretty good at manufacturing drones.

Ecologically Renewing Old Building Like the Former Wrangell Hospital

 I have given some thought on what to do with the old Wrangell Hospital that is apparently costly for the city to keep in its inventory because of electrical and other costs. I ride a bike past the hospital sometimes when I am in town for shopping and hate to see the property’s neglect; it is aesthetically unsatisfying. It seems a fair item for a web blog. Sometimes repainting houses the exterior of the old building seems to be in pretty good shape considering that is might not have had any work on it since it was new. The fascia could be covered with marine plywood and some sort of metal because it seems to have worked like a drip edge ans is rusting away.

Environmentally speaking it is better to recondition and upgrade old buildings than build new ones generally. If a building is dangerous with unsound components it should be entirely replaced. Otherwise the manufacturing and transport costs of materials for something entirely new is greater than an upgrade. Refurbishing old buildings requires custom thought, innovation and design intelligence that isn’t necessary when building cookie cutter new units, so most people op for the later although it is environmentally and economically wasteful. The $50 per sheet. Building materials are quire expensive these days.

One can make old buildings very modern. The city might need to find some incentive for a party to become interested in investing in the old hospital when they presently haven’t a business revenue return model to do so. The Stikine River Wilderness, decline of fisheries and Old Growth forest might provide an incentive for some environmental non-profit to develop the property with ultra-modern green energy production and insulation technologies to convert the structure into a showpiece for green technology while providing a base for restoration of fishing and enhancement of forest and water quality. Maybe just getting someone like the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) of Amory Lovins to entirely convert the old hospital to green tech would require the property to be donated in exchange for fulfilling some contract to refurbish the structure.

The City need be cautious about selling the property at a discount to anyone that says if X then Y such as building N units for housing will follow Z conditions. Once the title is transferred, without some formal contract the owner needn’t do anything. For a city assembly the lure of dozens of new housing units could be an attractive bait. I Pink salmon are in the water presently.

Th 36,000 sq foot building out to have room for 15 apartments of a thousand sq feet each with ample leftover space for storage units. Maybe it could be the Jay Hammond Center for Environmental Research, or another Pioneer Home or a place to move Wrangell Law Enforcement, Fire Department and other government offices. The present Wrangell Police and Fire station is a better site for business or some kind of transportation hub and intermodal connectivity.

Vice President Harris said that if she were elected president she would build three million new homes to alleviate the ‘housing shortage’. That would employee hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens working as construction crews and drop quick proplits to Democrat party donors and building developers. Consider for a minute the environmental and economic consequences.

Rapid tract home expansion is an amazing thing to watch. While riding a bike 35,000 miles around the country looking for a job I repainted quite a few buildings. In a new suburb of Houston I rode each morning past a new home being built by a crew. After the concrete set it took just six days to put the building up, and it was a large home selling north of $300,000. From framing to setting down tresses with a cherry picker and roofing specialized crews completed a phase of construction. Its nothing like the way carpenters of old would build a home with an apprentice or two.

That style of housing is boom and bust. Refurbishing old homes is sustainable and done with local workers creating jobs in the U.S.A. to replace so many lost overseas. Millions of workers specializing in upgrading old homes is a different approach than expanding into near urban farmland with new housing tracts while leaving old homes to become new slums, ghettos and barrios closer toward urban cores.

Everything in an old home can be replaced by entirely new materials with the limit being the intelligence of the redesigner. Perfectly clear, transparent roofs could replace old ones and plug in to new support tresses wherein wiring for plug in solar voltaic roofing would go, Roofs could change color as if they were adaptive optics to let in or filter out light. Creating new materials that can upgrade old homes is a good way to sell environmentally rational materials for export to second and third world nations looking to upgrade to a western style quality of life. What cannot serve global interests at all well is the idea of using the old housing ways favored by the Biden-Harris people to clear-cut undeveloped foreign forests and build new tract homes with asphalt absorbing streets across Africa, South America and Asia.

It is important to put intention on present political actions toward present and future structural designs. Scaling up old housing patterns nationally and globally can have disastrous consequences environmentally as well as economically. Building new subdivisions requires substantial investment of public resources, probably with inefficient technologies such as flush toilets instead of solar-powered electric toilets installing miles of pipe, electrical wires, water flow management and so on. All of the new instant lawns placed by the square yard and the lawn mowers, weed eaters and chem lawn treatments are completely avoidable when old buildings are refurbished to better-than-new condition with advanced tech.

A Poet's Uniform

 

 A roulette wheel with a rainbow of colors
spun with a moon around
reminding the poet of a timely notion
where oceans came to rest
politicians chorded sounds of the mess
where sand isn’t grit on polished halls
at the exact point of nowhere

Covered with aesthetic patterns
shoulder eponyms of iambic pentameters
lines inscribed ranked hexameter formations
battalions of airborne poets considering motions
existential descriptions of everywhere
transparent uniforms color over time
morphing to glorious algorithms

a great opaque, corporate one
with battery bearers, Starlink’d antennae carriers
and splendid report-worthy deaths in store

where with to observe absurd
colors and smells in tire rut runes and guts of hells
splattered with smatterings of drone-speak shells
spelling exceptionally resonant words

Caduceus slathered with patriotic blood

Harris-Cheyney and Deep State War

When former Vice President Dick Cheney threw his support to the Harris presidential campaign recently that notable marker indicated the power of the deep state unified with the military industrial complex to transfer public money to the corporate private sector was fully functioning. Cheney and the late Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld had a political philosophy and an opportunity to use it that private interests should soak the public sector for as much money as they could. Plainly the Iraq war was an example of the transference of vast sums of cash via no bid contracts to corporations like Halliburton that Cheney once was chairman of. The Ukraine war has so far seen Congress send more than 3/4s of a trillion dollars to prop up the regime that is the leading edge of the theft of all of Ukraine from Russia at the conclusion of the Cold War 1.0. Even President Biden’s son Hunter was a recipient of pork kick backs from the endeavor via sumptuous salaries for being appointed to the board of a Ukrainian corporation.

The Ukraine was has produced something like a quarter million casualties so far and has ramped up the risk of nuclear war. Instead of pursuing a rational course to peace the deep state has pursued its self interests in fueling the war for weapons sales and other cash payments to insiders. V.P. Harris has vowed to continue the policies of the Biden administration and is recognized as the best way to keep the money and blood flowing to elements of the corporate sector supplying Ukraine with weapons to attack Russia and profits to politicians allied with the deep state war party. Donald Trump is in this election the peace candidate and therefor not a candidate that Deep State Dick  Cheney could support.

Following the Kursk area invasion of Russia recently, something Defense Secretary Austin apparently referred to as Ukraine “taking the initiative” Russia relocated its nuclear command center to Crimea. Though the Kursk invasion route was a failure in its goal to force Russia to redistribute troops from the Eastern front where they are taking land at a steady rate to the northern area Ukraine invaded, and the negotiating position of the west is degrading further the armed forces of Russia advance toward what probably would be the final rational line of combat along the Dnepr River, the deep state people of the Biden-Harris administration and their Defense Secretary tool have no intention of stopping the war machine and financing the reconstruction of Ukraine anytime soon.

The Soviet Union returned all of the land they had garrisoned during the second world war by withdrawing their military forces after about a half century of occupation. President Clinton levered Ukraine away from its historical ownership by Russia until the communists took over in the Soviet Revolution leaving Russia as the sole country that lost land at the end of communism when the Soviet Union collapsed. A war of reconquest was forced upon Russia and political leadership f the west was only too happy to build up conflict and rhetoric to justify war. Even the far right in Germany has gained more support as the west has resumed the Nazi outlook of military expansion to the east. The fundamental deep state policy direction has short term profit for select government insiders and corporations yet is quite harmful to U.S. national security as well as that of the planet.

The Biden-Cheney-Harris deep state military-industrial complex has roots going back further even than the Vietnam conflict when Brown and Root were given contracts to build military bases in Vietnam by Lyndon Baines Johnson, whom had received financial support from the Texas oil people Brown and Root during his initial run for the U.S. Congress. Halliburton eventually bought Kellogg Brown and Root and bailed them out of bankruptcy during the Bush-Cheney war in Iraq- another conflict initiated with a false premise. The military industrial complex deep state axis of interests developed its persistent form during the Cold War when rival nuclear powers faced off around the globe. The deep state would not be well disposed to tolerate a permanent end to the Cold War posture that had brought such great profits to so many.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have fully invested in the blood and treasure axis of conflict with military violence as a way of life instead of peace, prosperity and a healthy environment. Kamala Harris is the new face of the deep state, albeit possibly an ineffective one. However competence in executive political management is not required for a Presidential deep state operative.  

It may be that the time period cycles  between war crests and peace troughs is decreasing since the deep state depression of peace during the Reagan administration.  President Reagan secured peace by diverting present war outlays to building a military for future conflicts. A five hundred ship navy and the Star Wars developments fed the deep state beast for a time even though peace broke out with the Soviet Union too. The Balkans war of the Clinton era  N.A.T.O was a quick way to discharge some of the weapons build up of the Cold War instead of just leaving it hanging yet it was the 9-11 attacks on the U.S.A. that engaged the Deep State military-industrial-political complex in perennial war and a need to find a continuum of opponents to attack in order for federal dollars to continue to flow.

It is entirely possible that the time between wars will continue to decrease from the former 20 years through the common ten years to the new normal five years right up to a stage of constant conflict and perennial wars financed with deficit spending, tax and government spending on the civilian sector cuts. Since there isn’t presently a draft and military personnel needs are filled with a professional army Democrat voters tend not to care at all about engaging in unjust and counterproductive foreign military conflicts by supplying weapons to proxy armies that is good for deep state business.

Checking Out at Future-Mart

In the effort to imagine what a future massive grocery store would look like I imagined Future-Mart. Instead of picking items from store shelves a customer would wave a charge card over an item's shelf display scanner for instant purchase that a self-driving grocery cart would pick up. Items purchased could be gathered and delivered to a check stand with a robot arm with a scanner in the hand (distant cousin to the Canadian Arm from space shuttle times) for redundant checking or for those without a charge card and deliver them to the front of the store or electric car in the parking lot.

Rather than self-check out registers an alternative would be for a register robot arm with bar code scanner built into its hand to place items into a cart while tallying the costs  simultaneously.

Future-mart might be more practical though and simply let a customer place everything into a cart and at the register all of the items would be tally’d in the car instantly  because each item has a radio frequency transmitter or another form of very  short distance neo-RFT identifier that the register recognizes. A customer would initiate the process with a charge card and a receipt would print out with a list of all of the items purchased before the cart drove itself off to follow a customer outside. The cart would be made to have a box set in it that would lift up or slide out with the goods at delivery point.

For Sale; Decommissioned Wrangell Alaska Hospital

 For the price of a used home a 36,000 sq foot former city hospital with a great location just a mile from the airport and a half mile from a salt-water port may be had for purchase (if the price agreed to with the last developer who wanted additional properties free and let it fall through when he didn't get them still holds). I would think a non-profit could refurbish the building with a great metal roof and not pay property taxes. An estimate of the cost to build a new one like it is 14 million dollars U.S.

Apparently the city wants to sell the building in order not to pay for utilities annually. It is not a bad looking building at all though the city has let the grass go un-mowed and the exterior needs to be maintained. The inside could be gutted and just lad bearing elements retained so one could make numerous small condo units and a few stores within it, and outside on the grounds. There is adequate parking space and garages for storage.

Instead of heating the building while empty several quality dehumidifiers might have been place to keep the humid environment dry for less cost. I specialized at repainting buildings so I am completely amazed at the unwillingness to maintain it or convert it into some other purposed public structure.

Od hospital buyers might not see the throughput of customer volume sufficient to support commercial purposes. Wrangell has fewer than 2000 people although the cruise ship industry is rising annually while fisheries are in decline. The site might be a good place for a remote small resource based technical college annex, executive retreat two hours from Seattle etc. A Large wind generator could supply off grid power occasionally (it should turn slow enough to not bother common bald eagles and ravens flying past.

The former Wrangell Hospital is at any rate an excellent place for a retirement project to make a few stores and condo spaces. With the passing on of the boomer generation there will be millions of existing buildings that will become vacant that need be refurbished rather than destroyed so new homes can be built. Getting rid of perfectly fine structures to build new ones is quite a bit costlier and wasteful of human and material resources.

On Ukraine-If You are in a Hole Stop Digging it Deeper

The Biden administration has proven the truth of the axiom of the First Law of Holes that says; “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging it deeper.” Digging a vast economic and political hole in Ukraine through several Democrat administration in order to conquer land historically belonging to Russia was a feat of historically illiterate, bureaucratically minded union leadership quality personal egoist sociopaths.

The pathetic cost in human lives physically, injuries of war physically and psychologically is vast and the numbers keep compiling. There never was a reasonable chance of the west defeating Russia militarily to keep all of Ukraine for itself. Russians tend to be tough fighting on their home turf, and if they were actually to have lost the conflict would probably swiftly escalate to battlefield nukes to defrappe western military forces. The west would have to accept that or upgrade to M.A.D. retaliation basically.

President Biden is the worst reasoning war mongering President in U.S. history. He again moved to provide Ukraine’s government with up to 72,000 artillery shells per month for the rest of 2024 assuring more deaths, more property destruction and more impossibility of developing or investing in peace for the remainder of his term of office. A Harris or Trump administration would have hard choices to make about where to go with that conflict. Trump has said he would move toward peace and Harris has said she would go for the Biden approach she has supported for several years. Voters would be happier if she would just stipulate that she would accept President Putin’s reasonable peace plan or just go for the Russia gets the east bank of the Dnepr River and West Ukraine the western side.

The costs of rebuilding Ukraine will be great- in the trillions, and Ukraine will probable expect Europe and the U.S. to pay for it. I am somewhat offended by the idea of paying trillions to rebuild a nation that could have had war avoided with a practical peace plan a priori to adjust the wrong settlement of the Cold War boundary of Russia and Ukraine.

The Biden-Harris war lunacy has done great harm to world opinion about the United States since many perceive it as the school yard bully that could intimidate small nations and overstepped its power with Russian Ukraine. Democrat leadership about Ukraine is like maladroit engineering that mistakes its estimates of how easy it would be to build a dam across the Bering Strait bud decided to invest a trillion dollars to get something started anyway just to discover that tide and currents wash away the work.

The Biden-Harris war plan has restored the unity of the remaining communist block and strengthened it by forcing Russia to turn to a much closer relationship with that mixed economy state and neglect developing free enterprise capitalism. The negative effects of the conflict for the United States are great and will contribute to future economic issues for Americans. The astounding stupidity of the approach is what is breathtaking. How did the United States fall to such a low level of leadership after Ronald Reagan for twenty years of Democrats?

I should make a disclaimer here concerning Ayn Rand Republicans. Rand’s ‘Atlas Shrugged’ followers don’t recognize that she wrote in favor of the 1% CEO and shareholder people and was in a sense against the 99% of the public that aren’t CEO and owners of big businesses. She should have written a sequel for labor that isn’t union and demonstrated why hard individual work counts, or should count if there was an actual meritocracy in the U.S.A. Piece work of an objective nature is the only way to have real meritocratic labor and that doesn’t form the primary structure of what labor works on.

In the U.S.A. the six guys leaning on their shovels chatting will go farther and get better pay than the individual who thinks working better than others competitively will win out. Life does not recognize that kind of individual effort. That kind of worker burns out while being ignored.

There are so many unfair labor values empirically that union labor does have a way of getting a substantial chunk of change for numerous workers, although obviously union labor does have an element of a pyramid scheme structure to it- not all workers could be in unions without the wages paid becoming nonsensical and uniform while business would be inflexible and maladaptive. One would develop a Soviet Union or sovereign union sort of structure with the main difference being that government leaders might be CEOs instead of Union executives. In short a Hitler-Mussolini corporatism rather than a Soviet corporatism.

Is $40 Billion XM-30 A Priori Obsolete?

 The Army plans to spend $40 billion to replace the Bradly with a next generation fighting vehicle yet in light of drone developments one must wonder if the entire concept of blocky, chunky armored vehicles will soon be obsolete.

Mechanized infantry combat vehicles are solid targets for a plethora of new drone designs that can fly at ground contour proximity routes and get under or attach to tanks with a lot of plastic explosives at reasonably high speed. The entire paradigm seems slow. Helicopters are another easy target for next gen mobile missile platforms. One could even put tow missiles type anti-tank weapons on drone flying platforms to hunt from camouflaged hides chunky opposition forces sacrifices.

  War is just to clever to avoid. Next generation Hatsfields and McCoys need better toys to kill one another with plainly. How can that be accomplished so both are satisfied?

Donald Trump's Trouble at the Arlington National Cemetery

Donald Trump on a Presidential campaign visited the Arlington national cemetery with family members of servicemen buried there. The media have made much ado about that. I suppose the visit made family members of the fallen with him feel a little better.

Visiting the cemetery was somewhat inappropriate, yet Trump is the peace candidate rather than a Democrat on the side of adding hundreds of thousands to graves in Europe from Ukraine and Russia. In fact that conflict could lead to millions of Americans losing their lives in nuclear war. These are extraordinary times.

Arlington is something of a gated community that Donald Trump probably couldn't be buried in because he wasn't in the military. Since he was commander-in-chief perhaps that would be his way in. Democrats probably would protest if he took up residence there when he passes some day as he nearly did last month. In the American political wars he earned a purple heart.

Homeless people that aren't veterans don't get to be buried in a national cemetery. Getting off a Greyhound bus years ago across the street from the National Cemetery at Arlington I got locked into a bathroom stall briefly when the door wouldn't let me out. For a few seconds I thought my stay at Arlington might be longer than I intended in case the bus left when the rest break time elapsed shortly. At last the door opened and I ran to the bus. Many homeless Americans are buried at public expense and cremated. One can honor the military dead best by not adding to their numbers in the U.S.A. or foreign troops too for that matter.

Democrats Don't Perceive Dangers of Nuclear War

 I throw leftovers to birds and squirrels in order not to leave anything that a brown bear would find interesting. Yet the squirrels and birds become trusting after a while and throw the birds are wild they act as if they were pets. That is they lose a sense of risk and danger. democrats are like that these days in regard to the risk of war with Russia and China, maybe Pakistan and North Korea as well (who might decide to toss a few our way when the going gets going). I wanted to comment about this phenomena.

Maybe its because of the copious dope used and quasi-legalized by the boomer generations and the quietude of gen x'ers that grew up in the long shadow of their more numerous and confused parent's generation. They too easily accepted a neo decadent whirlpool with conflicting and paradoxical, ineffective values where morality could be said to exist. Is it possible that during the collapse of the meaning of marriage and its expropriation by homosexuals in order to reallocate health care benefits unto themselves following the H.I.V. epidemic and with the post-Darwinian loss of faith in God and rise of nihilistic and hypocritical political values that an existential resignation to being, and even a tiredness to existing developed an unconcern or uncaring about the very real prospect for nuclear war?

President Reagan's agenda- a personal one like that of Donald Trump, was peace with the Soviet Union. In some miraculous way that mission was accomplished, yet President Clinton bungled the peace and with irrational exuberance took advantage of the Russian state's weakness and expropriated all of the Ukraine from it. That doomed the world to the present conflict where Europe and N.A.T.O. are the Spanish fascists seeking to takeover all of Russia with the United States as the blaster with England being something like the national master (Master-Blaster Beyond Thunderdome).

Russia is not Vietnam, Afghanistan, Panama, Grenada, Syria, Libya or some other country the U.S.A. has invaded or sponsored a war with. Russian's will fight to retake their Ukraine lands lost to the west during the transition from Soviet Communism. Making peace with Russia with a negotiated settlement excluding the present unelected Ukrainian administration was always the rational and true policy for the U.S.A. to take, and one eschewed soundly in reference for continuous escalation of war with Russia.

There is no good end through war economically or empirically. If Russia were very pressed by conventional weapons it could use tactical battlefield nukes to offset the disadvantage. It could provide suitcase nukes for terrorists to smuggle into the U.S.A. via porous borders transparent to combat terrorist egression. If a stalemate or armistice is reached the U.S.A. has a divided economic world with reduced trading partners, prolific public debt (33 trillion) and challenged by a raising Asian economic power that could easily surpass that of the U.S.A.. European partners n the crime of Ukraine war on Russia have forgotten the problems of the Second World War after decades of prosperity and ease. They support the ancient European tradition of war on Russia in order to expand Eastward although of course they require false political consciousness (ref Sartre) from the broadcast media to feel down with it.

I won't feel particularly satisfied if the Ukraine war expands to a nuclear level. It could further escalate and cause inflation, or for Alaska temperatures to drop to -80 f year around for a half a decade from nuclear winter if Americans survive the fallout. I would think that at some point Democrat party leadership should have more concern and a sense of danger than do somewhat tame squirrels. Misery from poverty caused by war and little or no medical while being injured can be a painful experience that one should avoid a priori rather than to feel contrition about later.
