U.S. Foreign Policy in 2015

U.S. foreign policy to isolate Russia and reinforce development of the Syrian civil conflict is likely to continue during 2015. The Obama administration has determined evidently that adding the Ukraine to the incipient European Super-State is desirable, and that requires weakening Russia politically and economically. It is not certain that a European Super-State will regard a N.A.T.O. policy dominated by U.S. policy planners as desirable nor that the European Super-State will find it useful to be followers rather than leaders of any trans-Atlantic alliance that may continue to exist after a decade or two of consolidating power.

A Russia economically and politically situated between the billion three hundred million pound Chinese gorilla and the billion class gorilla to it's west while bordered on the south by the youthful Muslim world has obvious security issues especially with a population of fewer than 150 million souls. It is challenging to anticipate how that circumstance benefits U.S. foreign policy unless perhaps one views it through anachronistic cold war glasses with Russia as a legacy threat of the U.S.S.R. while disregarding the political gestalt of reality.

Building a Sunni belt across the Middle East that is in perennial civil conflict with Shi'a may be regarded as politically pragmatic though engineering higher education may provide a counter-cyclical opportunity for future terrorists to discover new methods of attacking cracker-box palace first-world urban infrastructure while liberals seek to educate the poor out of social conditions that cause poverty while concomitantly poverty is believed to cause terrorism rather than Muslim ideology. The policy seems muddled.

President Obama's early socialization in a Sunni Muslim nation-the largest Muslim nation in the world-Indonesia-is telling. He is likely to continue to pursue policies that benefit China, Asia, atheists and homosexuals while seeking to flood the United States with southern immigrants legally and illegally in order to weaken American nationalism and-sustainable policies for economic independence. Federal policy to degrade Christianity and spirituality subtly might proceed in order to take the rough edges off interaction with Chinese communist leadership fearful of spiritual and civil free expression domestically.

U.S. foreign policy today is largely based upon creating wealth for the upper class and especially a global neo-plutocracy invested heavily in globalism. Three years of quantitative easing policy by the U.S. Federal Reserve buying federal paper liabilities and issuing zero-interest loans to banks has in effect given those banks free dollars they can electronically mint and loan to purchasers of Wall Street stocks or to invest in abroad. One free dollar lets a bank loan five equally fictitious dollars that become real when the borrower repays the principle and interest. So long as there isn't run on the banks it seems to work well enough. The rich get richer.

The receivers of that fiction-issued capital will pay back some real tax dollars to the U.S. Government eventually. In spite of permanent tax cuts to the rich led by the President the rich too will pay some taxes in the years ahead. Building up the wealth of the most rich in order to allow investment in China is in effect a synthetic U.S. Government foreign and domestic policy procedure taking priority over all else.

The administration may encourage the Eurozone to make zero-interest loans to the plutocracy and implement quantitative easing in order to reconstruct the good old days of royalty and kick down ordinary people better.

Another variable is what the Chinese Communist party leadership thinks of all the investment largess to Wall Street. It experiences a U.S. Government weakening its Russian neighbor across the Amur River who has vast land and natural resource holdings. Perhaps U.S. foreign policy planners intend to strengthen China, weaken Russia, build a European Super-State and reduce Americans domestically to rent collectors in global corporations or to live on fiction-financed federal relief. Reducing national and global population in order to allow elites to run the Earth non-democratically may be regarded as a scientific necessity to conserve life on Earth-yet obviously that is not the only or even the better course human political development might take.

Outlook

With the election of an ecological economic, nationalist political genius to the Presidency in the Nov. 2016 election U.S. foreign policy is likely to continue in an age of fracture with fundamental reinforcement of Wall Street and plutocratic globalization working closely with Chinese Communist Party elites to render world policy into a corporatist-collectivist status with sham democracy for patronized masses.

Africa will continue to be exploited as a resource colony by the five major world political blocks with the ameliorating factor of local independent African exploitation of natural resources occasionally. Continuing cheaper fossil fuel prices will permit accelerating global warming and following acidification of the world oceans. Wild species decline and extermination will accelerate with counter-cyclical apologetics or denial of value by prop-broadcasting media sycophants of the econ-power will-to-power.

Forking Gravity (science fiction)

“An infinite number of Universes arrayed like diamonds in the rough dark soil of the imperium worlds. It seems my friend like one way the initial field collapsed in the precipitation to virtual being..” Shelly removed her comm-visor lifting herself up another notch on the collective ladder. She continued;

“Ninety-nine percent of the energy of the first field was drawn from virtually nowhere until nowhere became exhausted. Complying with the initial field over-all strength as total quanta it collapsed unto itself as charged particles attracted to the missing spin-matrix in particle pairs. The second law of thermodynamics with its nature of increasing disorder in a finite field over time was conserved. From infinite Spirit with impossibility of disorder it was elemental to issue field content morphing into particle pairs with evolution through cycles of beingness structures leading to general sentience.”

Maxim inhaled the nutrient-analytic air flowing cool as a draft along the shimmering darkness coating the trilexian highway. Like a hologram she moved with counter-rotating surfaces through space-time richly compacted by field actualizers to a state useful to an Itch-queen of silence. Measuring her ideas carefully, spacing them like cadenced, nuanced exhalation of meaning she said; “Shelly, they will turn off gravity when the power bill isn't paid by the first!”

The Nahgo King won't let it happen. Prestige as capital value is contra-indicative of that sort of eventuation. Remember the last time the the Microvasm shut off the gravity in a galaxy and the worlds were flung apart and star fields went nova in wave fields of thanatak. Sentients of the Imperium's worlds along with the ecospheres were suddenly flung into the void as gravity holding everything together stopped and necessary structural cohesion was lost. Without gravity even the remaining dust cloud of the galaxy was in constant collision as its entropy sought to increase. That created far too many troubles for neighboring galaxies to tolerate.”

“Yes you are right Shelly. The Nahgo King was sued for letting the disorder increase and fined seventeen galaxies. That sort of fine isn't trivial even for the Imperium. He won't let it happen again.”

While Shelly and Maxim continued to traverse semblance of sentience express highway Shelly continued her exchange with the prison-guard robot; “So let me ask you this Maxim, what do you think kept the infinite quantity of Universes you can see in the mystery bird's eye view of things from collapsing under some kind of attracting neo-gravitational field themselves into what-the mother of all singularities?”

Maxim jerked on Shelly's chain a little before saying; “The Universes are energetically neutral-they aren't particle-antiparticle pairs or embedded within a field themselves. There is nothing to attract them to one another.”

“The what about dimensional status of the Universes? Do all have the same number and kind of dimensions regarding micro and macro? If they have differing quantities and quality of dimensions can they collapse or change if they can collide with dimensions from intersecting Universes? Are dimensions all local to a particular Universe or do they extend from any given Universe throughout all possible Universes to infinity?

“These are interesting question Prisoner Shelly yek they won't help you find an escape route.”?

“Across each Universe the shape given to it by neighboring Universes embedded in a sack energy field draws mass along the space-time downslope to terminus energy pole. Photons with no mass just drift around the circumference of a Universe and the mass falling downslope even as disorganization increases over all along principles of the second law of thermodynamics.

Alternatively, mass could Universally be settling toward another dimension though remaining within four dimensions of normal space-tine.”

“You were convicted for spreading that sort of flunkerchat Prisoner Shelly. Yumans art slope to learn, mmm?”

Federal Reserve Free Money at Heart of Economic Recovery

Federal Reserve Zero-Interest Loans Enrich Rich

Some wonder what will happen when the Federal Reserve stops its program of letting the biggest banks mint 5 dollars themselves for every zero interest dollar the Fed Reserve 'loans' them? The Federal Reserve printing trillions of electronic dollars to loan to the U.S. Government and banks is a curious thing. I wonder what effects it will have on inflation and the value of the dollar over time.

Obama administration economic policy apparently relies on zero interest loans to make up federal budget shortfalls while the U.S. public debt has passed 18 trillion dollars.. Hitler had trouble with such policies causing hyper-inflation yet Obama seems able to get away with it because the U.S. Government is too big to fail- like the banks. Russian President Putin could not print rubles to make up for the sanctions and drop in oil value without causing hyper-inflation comparatively.

If I understand it right, and I may not, when the federal reserve invents money out of thin air with nothing backing it up like gold or whatever and then gives that money electronically to a bank, the bank need only keep a certain percentage of that new capital in its accounts and can issue loans on the basis of having that capital asset. It can issue something like 5 times the amount of money that it has on hand. Thus when the Federal Reserve issues one dollar of fiction money to a bank the bank can mint 5 dollars of fiction money itself and give that out as a loan to Wall Street or people that will buy Wall Street stocks.

With so much new money flowing about the financial circuits the liquidity problem of 2008 obviously is solved for the rich. The rich can buy all the nationally distressed housing from the crash era if they like and of course buy up stock, and that could inflate the value of the stock market. It is possible that all the free government money given to the banks along with tax cuts for the rich does stimulate the plutocrats yet it does little for the poor or ordinary Americans. The Euro-zone is expected to pursue the same policy of enriching the rich in order to create another fountain of wealth for the plutocracy.

It could be that inflation actually accumulated in Wall Street during the three years of quantitative easing during which time the stock market rose to a record level surpassing 18,000 itself as if it were indexed inversely to the public debt of 18 trillion. That was a rare convergence of debt and fiction cash financed market recovery that may converge again some day in the future in an unforeseen manner.

Investing in China and making a super-nation of the E.C. may pressurize Russian national security on two of three fronts with the Muslim threat from the south continuing as a problem, yet that sort of avoidable insecurity is not unrelated to the global financial situation that the administration has taken farther along the slim-flam to advantage market investors policy that appeals to a planetary imperium of plutocrats.

The next installment of global financial perfidy might be as good as the original show.

Use-Truths, Propaganda etc in Politics

Sartre wrote about use-truths in his 'Critique of Dialectical Reason'. Organizations tend to define reality verbally in a way that benefits their self-interest..that isn't new. Hitler said that Poland attacked the Werhmacht or Germany first and the invasion was a reply...a use-truth. The actual investment in a given power structure such as colonialism, a major political party, global corporation, plutocracy etc requires reinvestment in facts that support its existence. One finds anti-global warming rhetoric from oil corporations or anti-tobacco causes cancer rhetoric from tobacco companies in history. Homosexual marriage advocates often obfuscate the biological foundation of marriage in order to expropriate the social, political and financial benefits; none of that is new.

President Obama has one version of the history of the Ukraine that wrested control from Russian patrimony the past 1000 years or so to one that adds territory for a plutocracy to invest in. Disputation is what some civil law seems to be about with the true version of events sometimes ancillary to power and credibility. If the ethics of the Lord were used instead, if a value theory were innovated that did not reward raw economic power with political power concentrating each, humanity might have a better chance to respond to global social and ecospheric challenges.

Noah and the Flood

I have written a little about Noah. I believe the story is true. The problem of credibility for some I think arises in the indeterminacy of translation-not just language meanings but referent objects and the context in which the story was conveyed from what was essentially near pre-history unto the written language.

Rosenberg wrote a good book named 'Abraham; The First Historical Biography' that would convey some idea of the complexities of the flood story and the way it made it into the book of Genesis.

Assuredly the flood story of Gilgamesh and Noah are similar. They seem to refer to some kind of a Mesopotamian flood in the late Pleistocene when the Persian Gulf sea level was 200 feet lower than today. You may not know that Ararat where the Ark came down was transliterated by ancient Jews from the word Urartu-a defunct nation on the east side of the Euphrates River-a reasonable place for a boat to come to rest after a storm and tidal surge.

The first human civilization or proto-civilization may have been on along the Persian Gulf littoral where people had gathered walking over across the lower Red Sea from Africa long ago. With the rising sea level at the end of the Wisconsin Ice age a starter mud-brick built city may have suddenly flooded when a river berm or natural diking system gave way.

In some parts of the Bible the word 'Earth' is a synonym for dirt. In ancient cultures the entire world was sometimes defined as the distance a man could walk in three days. If all of the dirt (Adamas in Arabic I think) was suddenly flooded yet Noah was prepared it would have been a cataclysmic event when the entire civilization was wiped out. The sons of Noah had someplace to go you might recall, after the flood that is.

There are numerous theoretical contexts that may be made by reasonable people to account for the flood story and of Noah-too many for me to write about here.

The Value of 'Supernatural Non-sense' to Science

'Supernatural nonsense' is something of a vague, undefinable term perhaps. The energy field that supports a steady-state Universe is of course what science studies. Philosophers and theologians though are free to regard the Higgs Field and Universe from a theoretical, metaphysical point of view. Philosophical thought can be a kind of abstract cad-cam modeling tool for contemplating Universes and anything else. While it may not be physically possible to step beyond the Universe or the energy-mass guts that comprise the Universe of human experience, it is possible with thought to view it with what is in effect 'supernatural nonsense' or metaphysics and contemplate how it works or may be structured within meta-structures.

One may for instance consider the Universal field as a singularity or before the singularity and wonder why the flow of virtual particles that fed into the incipient singularity through gravity stopped? Why didn't all of the virtual particles that could possibly exist go into the initial singularity leaving nothing else beyond. One might have simultaneous coalescence of singularities from an endless, inexhaustible primordial virtual field hidden in nothingness that is thought of as the vacuum and yet wonder why an inexhaustible virtual particle, zero-point energy field exists in the first place; that is a kind of metaphysical nonsense yet hypothetically useful in considering how physics might work. It is a form of abstract reasoning-and that in a way is what Aquinas practiced with his summa theologica as well as using logic.

Many of the great scientific theorists were Christians including Copernicus, Newton etc. The ability to step beyond the material boundaries with metaphysical and theological thought has perhaps stimulated abstract contemplation of the way things appear and function in the Universe. Even Charles Darwin was a man of faith not really seeking to glorify himself as a secular little god-for-himself.

Leibniz conjectured about one-dimensional monads being the fundamental quanta of nature. One-dimensional branes that can become strings serve that role today. That does not mean that the entire Universe of energy quanta are not build ups from a spiritual source and entirely at the will of the spirit. Metaphysics is interesting enough and a useful philosophical endeavor. 

One might alternately stipulate that reasoning beyond the energy clump is too difficult, challenging or socially unrewarding and keep ones head in the sand of matter-only where the buttered biscuits and gravy are found.

Will Republicans Win the Triple Crown in 2016?

The last to times the triple crown has been worn in the U.S. Government it was by the Democrats with Barrack Obama and Bill Clinton presiding while both legislative chambers controlled by their party of Democrat politicians. The results were deregulation of Wall Street, permanent tax cuts for the most rich, concentration of wealth and power and globalization while the ecosphere declined in health. One naturally wonders if the U.S. electorate will finally let the Republicans try on the political triple crown with the Presidency and Congress in their pocket-they could hardly do worse than the Democrats it seems.

With the Federal debt greater than 18 trillion dollars and increasing the 'what me worry' approach of the Democrat party has some Americans growing a little concerned.  It is a terrible thing to expect the Republican Party to look after the economic interests of the poor and middle class-yet the Democrats haven't been willing in their rush toward gentrification and flooding the nation with cheap labor.
