President Trump and Frank Zappa

The late Charlie Kirk sought to bring more Christians into political engagement in politics with his 'Turning Point U.S.A.'. He had saved 12 million dollars while growing that organization from age 18, so he was probably sincere about faith and bring the nation to return more to the faith of the founders. It is not particularly surprising that a radical left-leaning youth in a state with a dominant non-Christian religion was the tool to take down an existential irritant. The Democrat Party is very dangerous though. They seem to lack competence at politics generally and serve to render actual functioning marketplace of ideas style Democracy improbable because of the mass confusion and incompetence they bring to the electorate. Apparently they really are against U.S. border security and a democracy of, by and for the people of the United States rather than anyone in the world in general. Christianity Isn't Racist and it is OK for Christians to Support National Border Sovereignty

 The Bible does say that God appoints the rulers of nations. That doesn't mean that everything a government does is good obviously, yet the matter is a part of the paradigm of predestination and God's plan for the destiny of the world and people in it. It is alright for Christians to support national sovereignty and the integrity of a democracy. In my opinion a lot of people that hate Christians,, hate the United States and capitalism see a twofur in attacking Christians and nationalism simultaneously. 1 Peter 5:8 and Thermodynamics of the Universe

 Interesting to consider the meaning of  1 Peter 5:8 in light of thermodynamics and original sin  Everyone has the need to devour energy and increase. Recon Drones Into Poland May Have Been Sent by an Agent Provocateur

 Russia denies having sent drones into Poland of an attack kind. The Gerbera recon drones haven't military munitions on them. They also have a range of no more than 420 miles- too far for launches from Russia to reach Poland. 

There is a chance the wave of 19 Gerbera drones was some kind of media and treaty invoking mission by an unknown semi-intelligence agency and unknown agent provocateur.

Through the Ice into the Water

 Sometimes I have occasion to write some personal historical things after talking with others or sharing experiences. Being a writer to a certain extent I like to utilize everything I write so far as is reasonable, in the way native Americans were known for using every part of a buffalo for something (though I never heard anything about buffalo nails from those large hooves). So I post such stories someplace infrequently...

This is about the time I went into Noyes Slough- a fork of the Chena River, in Fairbanks years ago. I usually walked across the water because the highway bridge sidewalks were always covered in snow from plows. So I had my headphones on listening to music one day with a Walkman in a coat pocket returning home from the store 3.5 miles away and in the middle of the water the ice was rotten and I began sinking quickly into the cold water pushing the chunk of ice below my feet. The temperature was about 25 F as best I recall.

 I had read about how people carry ladders with them when climbing Mt. McKinley alone so they can prevent themselves from falling into an unseen crevasse. I remembered that while sinking into the water with my feet pushing the chunk of ice I had been on. I put out my arms to the sides and arrested my decent into the water at the armpits. For a moment I could see the world from a level with the ice point of view and thought that if I wanted to extract myself from the very serious situation to continue living I had best get on with it. 

Eventually I got my feet up onto the ice and levered myself out somehow.There is a power plant somewhere upstream apparently- I discovered later, and it releases hot water into the slough and that was what rotted the ice from below. It was still four or five inches thick. I finished crossing the stream and walked back to my apartment with my wet pants freezing stiff as a board. So apparently my blood was very cold and I mostly laid on the floor of the apartment for three days trying to warm up. I could feel the cold icy blood in my heart. It was a definite learning experience. So much for that story. Northerners preponderantly learn from experience about a lot of ways to stay warm. Southerners often haven't got that opportunity to learn cold weather stuff.

The U.S. Government has been rebuilding many old, abandoned airfield for a possible war with China this last year in the S.W. Pacific region. Many airfields would make it harder for China to take all of them out. Aircraft will need places to land to refuel and rearm in event of war. The U.S.A. has developed a more new battle doctrine for that combat theater yet of course even that advanced theoretical paradigm is changing a lot, perhaps so far as to become obsolete, as a result of Ukraine war development of drone technology for war. I am sure that DARPA is working on a plethora of A.I. self-regulating drones for attacking various targets negating the need for human operators in some cases. Island and bases may be neutralized by undersea refueled drones as well. Just as air tankers refuel aircraft in flight, sub-sea tanker mini-subs may be developed to refuel amphibious drones as well as undersea drones. All of this is of course a Field of Morons paradigm, rather than a Field of Dreams. Yet is is the way political leaders are driven by power and financial pressures and incentives.

The longer the Ukraine conflict continues the more the Eastern Block will deploy there own systems positioned to defrappe the Western Block that will be deploying counter-system. It is all very good for defense contracting business. This progression deserves a Ludlum title at least- like the Aquitaine Progression or The Parsifal Mosaic, though it reminds me of the perennial war between Oceana and some other power that went on interminably in Orwell's 1984. With the rise of A.I. that sort of scenario may evolve and people will become more isolated, conditioned by the daily hate and surveilled by the state. It needs to slip over a world population slowly, with subterfuge, rather than to be forced upon them.

9-11 demonstrated the fragility of major American cities to attacks with high explosives from the air. The Ukraine War has shown how drones take out conventional ground forces and the way cities are destroyed.
