Democrat Pride Drives Manufacture of Impeachworthy Content

After losses in the 2016 election and the Mueller Investigation House Democrats are struggling to construct impeachable content for President Trump in order to remove him from office. Speaker Pelosi has already said she hopes to imprison the President after he leaves office (if she is still around), or hopes he goes to prison in some way. The Democrats are working tirelessly including bringing in John Dean from the Watergate era to testify before the Nadler committee in a kind of cargo cult approach to getting their impeachment proceedings off the ground.

It is not good that the Democrat party and media cohort crank out mostly fiction content in the effort to reverse the election. Of course they should be working good legislation instead, yet that is generally beyond their capacity anyway, yek the appearance to the electorate of a party that would manufacture fake impeachable offenses itself to control the executive branch is a symbol of the decay of democracy and intelligence in the Congress.

New Free EPUB Version of God, Cosmology and Nothingness

I published a revision of God, Cosmology and Nothingness in epub format; this version with footnotes. It is free to download. I hope to work on a substantial revision sometime. I cannot say when.

A dichotomy has arisen in the visible Christian church. Inaccurate scriptural interpretation and out-of-time ecclesiastical structure have rendered the Church unable to serve the needs of many modern individuals seeking after a closer relationship with God through worship services. In an era before Universal literacy a priestly structure was requisite for accurate transmission of the word revealed in scripture. With Universal literacy separate priesthoods became less useful and more aloof from ordinary Christian lives. Ordinary Christians should fulfill their role in a priesthood of believers’ liturgical structure rather than a separate class of priests. Theological challenges exist that need be met. How can Biblical issues of Genesis be correlated with Big Bang theory and evolution with theistic creation?

Telephone Invention Ended America as a Nation of Immigrants

Modern technology such as the telephone and internet ended the era of Americas as a nation of immigrants with larger immigrant numbers arriving. When the first paleo-Siberian arrivals made it across the Bering Sea land bridge they decimated several large mammals on their way to found civilizations in Meso-America.  Few stayed in the colder north of the United States and Canada- maybe 4-6 million altogether.

Many Democrats parrot the maxim that 'America is a nation of immigrants' to support loose border control and immigration policy. It is as if they have their heads buried deep in the sand like ostriches. History changes the present state of any society. What was good policy for one era is inevitably good policy for another. That would require thinking and historical analysis to realize. Democrats disdain that in preference for dope and whatever. Unless they continue as self-destructive idiots, the era of mass immigration need necessarily halt.

The first thing post-Columbian Americans of the United States did was to revolt against foreign control. Revolt against foreign nations with large populations that would control the United States. Today Mexico and China are nations effectively working through legal and illegal immigrants to annex the United States, or in effect to colonize it. China has a very large and restive population.

China is especially dangerous. That nation has a billion three-hundred million citizens. With the Chinese economy having long-range growth prospects until they have their first costly war (in yuan), there ability to send even a small fraction of their people to the United States maintaining constant, permanent speed of light contact with their parent country could create a de facto colony of the U.S.A. in a couple of generations.

The original immigrants to America in the post-Columbian era had no instant communication to the old world. Today immigrants do. They also can keep their foreign values and language if they prefer. That is why America as a nation of large numbers of legal immigrants should be over for good. The environment is over-taxed anyway. It's all for the good.

China is the worst possible nation to colonize new planets too. The Chinese will have the most difficult time revolting against their controlling government. In 5000 years of Chinese history the mainland has no history of freedom. Though the races off-world will change and human form will morph quite a lot perhaps, the history of Chinese authoritarianism is a repressive and onerous political fact that would make life in free space challenging.

The President's Mexican Border Tariff Plan Was Worth a Full Point

I think it would be politically difficult for President Obrador to enact some of the measures he agreed to, such as putting more Mexican troops on the Guatemalan border to stop illegals from heading north, without pressure from President Trump and the sanctions. That was realpolitik.

Getting anything done when outsiders believe the United States has a marshmallow border control policy is difficult. I worked at a Taco Bell with a Haitian shift manager who said the United States is like a spread-legged woman. The Democrat Party is the stay-puffed marshmallow leadership party on externally-sourced problems, unless it involves going to war on nations that resist homosexual marriage.

Mexican Sanctions Fall, Chinese Next?

The Mexican tariff apparently was ended before commencement with a mutually agreeable resolution to some of the issues that prompted it. The tariffs of China with luck will increase another 300 billion dollars on select Chinese goods in order to help rectify gross trade injustices that are so great that they threaten to undermine U.S. and western national security physically, economically and socially.

Maybe some corporations investing in China with vestigial patriotism will return to invest in the United States and Mexico. That would be good for North Americans generally. Intellectual properties also require protection from Chinese expropriation. Building up a Chinese economic and military Frankenstein with artificial intelligence isn’t really a good idea, even if the godless, atheist communist nation is attractive to the Democrat Party.

Lakers Should Trade LeBron and Keep the Young Guys

Lebron James is one good basketball player. He is only good for a couple more years though. If the Lakers trade away their young core of players for one player to help Lebron James get the Lakers to the playoffs in two years they will have nearly zero again and struggle to rebuild. It would be better to trade Lebron James.

For two years James can put one of several teams into the N.B.A. finals. He is worth three younger, good players that would let the Lakers rebuild better. If the Lakers were to send Lonzo Ball with James to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis that would be a good trade for L.A. James might like to win a championship again before he fades away into the after N.B.A. life with Larry Bird and Michael Jordan etc.

The Lakers' management seems fairly poor and unlikely to get two stars to help James get another title for L.A. So they should face the fact that a flop trade would gut the future of the team and when James does retire, leave the Lakers barefoot and toothless.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/anthony-davis-trade-rumors-david-griffin-loves-brandon-ingram-several-within-pelicans-loved-lakers-original-offer/

James might not mind commuting from L.A. for a couple of years to win another N..B.A. title in a third town. No one knew that L.A. had incapable leadership in getting an ensemble of championship players together. Now that the shocking fact is starkly apparent - though miracles do occur- it would be a good idea to get the dust out of their eyes and take a sober look and patiently add a couple of good young stars to build for the future.

How to Solve the Draw Problem in SuperGM Classical Tournaments

I have never played a game of classical chess- (I hope to play a game of classical chess some day after I find time for shuffleboard)- only blitz-even so I have a remedy for too many draws in classical chess. The reason for that is that the ongoing Norway chess seems to give an unfair advantage to the world's best blitz player with the misnamed Armageddon (Armageddon was the 70 a.d. destruction of Israel and slaughter of a million Jews- Jesus said that would happen before that living generation was gone and it did) format to resolve draws.

Each player in a super-tournament with two hour time controls would be given a half hour advantage as white and as black, so it would be necessary to play four games between every two players in the tournament to determine who is really better at classical chess. Blitz tie-breaks are inappropriate- they really are a different game than classical.

A classical tournament should have nothing besides longer time controls.

The Undesirable Chinese Political Economy

I.M.O. China has an unlikable political template-for-others. People don’t really like authoritarian governance, nor the repression of creativity and political self-determination that are implicit features of communism, fascism, national socialism and so forth. Life needs to be about more than breeding and food, work and entertainment as authorities permit. China does not even permit religious freedom. Crimping spirituality is a definite litmus test for freedom or lack thereof.

China has some brilliant physicists, yet they cannot take their work and simply apply it commercially for-themselves, as they determine is in their best self-interest. That limits technological development. The communists need to expropriate too much and keep the inventors under the eye of the state. A super-power that is super-oppressive may not be the electorate’s choice.

Monolithic Concrete Domes Should Replace Columbine

Columbine High School- scene of a massacre of students by a culturally dysfunctional student, probably will be torn down. Its replacement should be several concrete domes with a R-insulation rating of 100 that are also Earthquake resistant.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/columbine-high-school-may-be-torn-down-because-morbid-fascination-n1015126

High schools should become less dependent on maintenance cost and heating cooling generated by fossil fuels. There should be natural Earth heating and cooling of well-insulated buildings on a college campus like setting with numerous strong concrete domes of various sizes as well as several squarish buildings for school administrators.

Greater Denver has an excellent environment for concrete Monolithic Domes, and the manufacturer headquarters is a state over in Italy Texas.

Amory Lovin's people od the Rocky Mountain Institute should be called in as design advisers to create facilities that affor practical learning for students regarding solar panels, growing plants such as bananas indoors year-around and even mariculture.

Will Uncreative Goons Precipitate Economic Collapse?

An economic collapse isn’t too likely soon. Anything is possible though. So a coup in China by a hard-liner could close down the limited free market there and cut off Apple’s profit chain (as well as numerous other U.S. corporations).
Some day when China has a lot of cash and safe investments it could nationalize all foreign owned businesses, continue to produce the same items with the same Chinese workers laboring for $2 and hour getting richer while cascading collapse and dire straits to the United States.
If Democrats become a majority party again with the Presidency a surfeit of moral corruption made law and loose economic management like that of the Clinton administration could lay a new foundation for collapse such as occurred in 2007–2008 from the home mortgage and banking crisis. people weren’t too aware of the ponzi scheme like irrational exuberant finance schemes then, and they may not be aware of building schemes now besides the obvious add trillions more to the U.S. public debt.
The United States has a history of steady long term growth with occasional recession and even a depression yet it always overcomes that. I would guess that it shall continue to do so in spite of all of the pretenders of the Democrat Party that run for the Presidency and are really not serious leaders in reform and progress whatsoever. Jeez those people are uncreative goons.

How the U.S.A. Could Afford the Second World War

John Kenneth Galbraith, a Canadian economist following in John Maynard Keynes deficit spending, pump priming policies- not entirely dissimilar from Arthur Laffer’s Supply Side Economic policy that advised the Reagan administration, was one of F.D.R.’s wartime economic advisers(Arthur Laffer - Wikipedia) . Galbraith was the Deputy head of the Office of Price Administration that set prices on goods during the war.
John Kenneth Galbraith - Wikipedia

Select goods were rationed during the war, including gasoline. Industry was converted to produce war materials rather than consumer goods. Total war required total commitment of the economy toward defeating the axis powers.

With 20 million Americans drafted into the military during the war years, in a nation with a population of 132 million, labor surplus from the post-depression era with a 14% unemployment rate probably dried up. Wage and price controls and the need for full employment producing items for war as well as national sustenance allowed the United States- a largely self-reliant nation at the time, to devote itself to defeating the foreign enemies of the Republic.

Running deficits, selling bonds and raising the tax rate to 90% on the rich helped finance the war. Economic growth after the war’s conclusion allowed the very large public debt to be repaid rather quickly.

A Brief Reply to Some Anti-American Int Relations Intervention

The United States has been the target of terrorists for some time. There are fascists and communists in the world still- as well as genocidal racists, imperialists and criminals of sundry sorts. Those all require defense strategies. I will mention a couple of points, though not reply to all.

Just in May there were about 133,000 people arrested trying to cross the U.S. border illegally. Maybe an equal number made it across. Some of those are terrorists; many are criminals. U.S. security faces challenges from nuclear weapons including suitcase devices as well as biological attacks and more. Russia only really closed down the Biopreparat facilities of the former Soviet Union completely about 1999. Some of those programs migrated elsewhere.

Russia has some fine weapons systems that are have global attack coverage. So does China and others…ICBMs. The anti-nuclear weapons proliferation sentiment that developed after World War Two when the U.S.A. was the sole nuclear power and could have taken the opportunity to annihilate Russia, China and others if it wanted to has not been shared by several countries. Even so the Middle East and the world will not be more secure if Iran develops nuclear weapons too.

Nazi and Japan did declare war on the United States to commence the Second World War. Chinese mass casualties were nothing to brag about; the point is to win a war with as few casualties as possible- the enemy can have the casualties.

The C.I.A. developed from the Office of Strategic Services (O.S.S.) following the Second World War. It’s primary task was to counter communist expansion around the globe. The Cold War was a global conflict itself with wars against communist insurgencies and infrastructure permeating underdeveloped countries. The Cold War required perpetual vigilance against the Soviet bloc-Warsaw pact nations. That was very costly. Africa became saturated with weapons. Soviets tried to install nuclear missiles in Cuba. Che Guevara and other Cubans fomented revolutions in Latin America and Africa. The Khmer Rouge perpetrated genocide, etc. Unfortunately post-Cold War socialists still exist to subvert democracy through other means. They present an opportunity cost to the free world that is substantial; the need to reform Democracy and capitalism to make it more egalitarian, ecologically sustainable and more effective is obscured and neglected with the continuing stupid neo-Marxist paradigm of dialectical clash between capitalism and socialism continuing.

There are far too many poorly educated people that work intentionally or unintentionally for a neo-authoritarian socialist global political system. And then there is the Muslim problem of theocracy, religious law and world conquest philosophy.

Some Believe Famous Chess Players Have a Higher Than Normal Rate of Mental Illness

I wasn’t aware that famous chess players have a higher than normal incidence of mental illness. In the United States, purportedly, about half of the population technically qualifies for some kind of a mental illness . However the definition of mental illness includes a wide variety of behavioral issues such as alcoholism, p.m.s. (?), marijuana smoking etc. so that may inflate the number. They sometimes redefine the list identifying metal illnesses if some items become politically unpopular.
In my opinion the reason that the number is 49% is that if a majority were credited with having recognizable mental illness then there are various philosophical problems that arise such as the crazies are running the asylum kind of thing. Nations with a lot of psychiatrists and psychologists have much higher numbers of people with mental illness. Europe has a lot of psychiatrists and chess players so it may logically follow that statistics might show that a higher percentage of the population including chess players have mental illness. Fortunately, famous chess players often can earn good enough money to deal with their handicaps and illness challenges for-themselves instead of relying on social welfare benefits.
It is possible that having a mind running toward blindfolded, cool chess calculations detaches great chess players from the usual chit chat about Donald Trump. Democrats at least may consider that sic.
Being a great chess player may require a fanatical devotion to the game, and the game is rather worthless in any social application concerning survival. I recall reading of one great German chess player who starved to death at home during one of the wars- the first I believe, in a gentlemanly way instead of asking someone for help (maybe he couldn’t have got any help if he had asked). He was a famous chess player with a good chess game and bad farmer/soldier/forager survival skills.

Mexican Tariff Could Be Good for the Economy

I wonder if minor corrections might not prevent the kind of irrational exuberance that leads to bubbles and recession or depression. Some pre-emptive economic measures that cut back yet reload might allow continued economic growth-even though that should be in quality rather than quantity. The national ecosystem is quite over-stressed and requires substantial work for recovery.
Mexico might benefit from some externally stimulated discipline. The Mexican economy relies too much on oil and drugs, its good workers flee abroad and criminals in and out of government take a larger share than they should. I think the genius required to transition to a sustainable economic infrastructure is too great of a challenge for any U.S. politician. Quality just doesn’t enter politics any more. Mexico has similar problems in that a paucity of ecological economics literate politicians prevails.

China's Divergent Development Choices

National Collapse With Inflationary Pizza Policy?

Collapse like a souffle’? Arnold Toynbee the late British historian of civilization viewed the collapse of civilizations generally as occurring in cycles. Some large nations might be compared to old style civilizations to a limited extent. Toynbee felt however , in the final analysis of his final book, that there was just one world civilization that existed after all the others had perished or merged through cultural proximity and shared content.

The United States could collapse from entering the universal phase where it is over-extended globally in trade and investment- even reciprocally. Following the Universal phase of a civilization in the Toynbee schema is collapse- like a super nova, volcano that spews its guts out or a failed souffle expanded like a soup bubble before the terrible collapse.

Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and the rest of Wall Street will invest and develop far more overseas than in the United States. Leaders and gentry of ancient Rome made the same mistake. The United States will become an afterthought and regarded by the rich as being in a state of good enough as it is. No longer will politicians and the rich seek to make the nation itself a global leader by example with the best infrastructure most well-adapted to ecospheric challenges. They will not lead to assure a quality lifestyle for all American citizens. Neither will they protect the polity against 150,000 illegal aliens arrested each month with that number probably making it through successfully.

As people become to rich and complacent, so interested in their own affairs that they neglect public affairs, and as they allow moral decay to become the norm and fall away from the faith of the founders; these things can all lead to collapse.

So could extreme inflation in the price of pizza.

Trump Admin Should Form a Dept of Space Agriculture

With food being necessary for all life forms including humans to live, the U.S. Government should consider formally creating a Department of Space Agriculture to coordinate extra-terrestrial farming methods beginning with the moon. Farming should be prioritized for all extra-terrestrial settlements.

N.A.S.A. photo of Lunar North Pole
It should be possible to create a terrarium on the moon to grow food under glass or under-ground in air-sealed chambers. making space agriculture greatly productive is not a bad idea. Some of the food might even be dehydrated and returned to Earth in compressed form.

Some Republicans Bluff on American Nationalism and Egalitarianism

Some Republicans in the Congress and media are bluffing on support for conservation of the national integrity and well being of the United States. They oppose a simple tariff on Mexico that the President is imposing because some of their owners global business interests might be affected. They prefer comfort and prosperity over national security.

Statecraft sometimes requires taking difficult measures. It isn't always a bowl of cherries with an existential disregard for borders and security. Anyone in their right mind knows that illegal drugs and aliens flow by the billions and millions into the United States from Mexico. The rich can always disregard those for them trivial problems because they are external to their personal riches and business. President Trump is a little different on that point; he actually seems to care.

President Trump in some respect runs the executive branch with the attitude of a business CEO seeking the well being of the company. Some recent Presidents of the United States have been government weaselcrats seeking mostly to enrich themselves and messing up international affairs and running up public debt.

If the United States ever tried to reform capitalism or government spending the Congress is far too satiated for-themselves to ever tolerate the slightest correction of policies that would lead to public national health. What a worthless bunch of investors.

Rubber Oversocks to Avoid Trenchfoot
