About 'The Age of Fracture" by Daniel Rogers

A new book by a professor of history at Princeton goes over a thesis that change in the United States since the 1970’s has developed toward fracturing of the national sense of community and mutual obligations with a market based identity of individualism becoming the new national intellectual paradigm. I have just started reading this book published in 2011 so need write with reserve on the thesis. It does seem consistent with the idea of dumping 14 trillion dollars of public debt upon the taxpayers though. Obviously the congress would be reduced to squabbling about nickels and dimes after the president too rejected tax rate increases last December.

I should say that I am a little reticent about ascribing too much importance to intellectual histories of the era as being leading rather than responsive things. Political leaders of the 20th century were preponderantly reactionaries instead of creative leaders. Well, in centuries past being a good leader meant getting the golden horde motivate to conquer the rich land abroad, and today a more intellectual challenge in the U.S.A. to materially comprehend nationalism, equality, prosperity and ecology and economic environment is categorically flunked. U.S. Presidents since the Roosevelts-with the exceptions of Nixon and Eisenhower, have been blind donkeys wandering in the desert regarding environmental boundaries and their integral relationship to nationhood and citizenship.

Politicians and intellectuals in the U.S.A. may write or speak in advocacy of reformed economic national structure as well as in a post hoc descriptive amorphous intellectual fog. If the U.S. economic structure has morphed into a fractured Market Economy replacing structured democratic and national management, it may be reasonable to regard a modest anarchic abandonment of executive competence as the new norm for the office of presdident of the United States. That leads me to wonder if Ronald Regan's intentional 'narration role' of the U.S.A. during his tenure in which the nation became a field of dreams in which all individual fullfillment was possible even as we watched the epic unfold can be duplicated by today's Republican candidates that are challenged to start with the disadvantage of perhaps 18 trillion dollars of public debt by 2013.

Perhaps Donald Trump has the potential for the role of off screen narrator and on screen host of the American dream on a nationalist instead of a globalist scale. Careful economic gardening planting green infrastructure and economic balance at home would promote good relations and a return to competent national political structure domestically.

Decline of Newspaper Industry; Why Not Move into Radio With Radio-Newspaper Stations?

The state of newspapers went into decline with free, instant radio broadcasts with news along with television. For the time being however radio remains the most accessible for of mass media to the poor and for travelers while newspapers have faded out as a new generation finds the paper format as uninteresting as the prior generation found it intriguing. Newspapers could move into radio broadcasting of their content themselves as summaries to bring the public to buy a paper locally to read the full story.

Radio broadcasts have radically declined in quality in news and music. Their use for education is virtually nil. Newspaper radio stations could read their high value articles, read Internet blog articles, high value columnists and educational content. Newspaper broadcasts might combine information within-detail information available in paper, as well as provide information on discount coupons available in a particular issue.

One day Internet radio may reach the public through radio wavelengths, until then Newspaper radio stations could be a way to revitalize local news interest and also provide intelligent thought for local people to listen too rather than just national mass media blather.

Newspaper broadcast stations should not make the mistake of resembling ‘talk’ radio with off the cuff ad libbing on sundry political topics so blunt as to be of the quality of dirt as like as not. If even notable syndicated columnists are brought aboard only their written works should be read by themselves or speech synthesizers without rave bias.

Human beings can read word information far faster than they usually can listen to it. Unstructured political ad libbing on talk radio in comparison to careful structured essays resemble a fellow straight out of the gym in a sweat suit compared to a guy wearing a suit. The very casual approach tends to lose out on the presentation of quality information. Quality information was the basic advantage newspapers like the Anchorage Daily News had over radio.

U.S.A. Should Halt Atomic Power Plant Construction

Nuclear power plants are implicitly weapons of mass destruction accelerators. Future terrorist attacks, conventional war targeting and natural disasters will increase their likelihood of vaporizing and weaponizing nuclear power plants in proportion to the proliferation of construction of atomic power plants around the globe. The recent Japanese equinox earthquake proved that planned safety measures for atomic power plants inevitably do not measure up to their survival challenges.

General human social disasters and mass die offs of population have been known to occur in human history. The bubonic plagues that wiped out two thirds of the population of Europe could recur in a new form for the entire world with the advances in genetic engineering and quick global transportation able that would facilitate the planetary instantaneous communication f communicable, fatal disease. With any of a number of forms of mass social disaster or intentional attack the world would be unable to cope with preventing melt down o thousands of nuclear reactors in atomic power plants without live human operators. The evolution of future life on Earth would be altered deleteriously for thousands of years.

The United States government has been remiss in allowing global market forces to set the nation’s power agenda moving it toward the reckless. Safe, alternate means of energy production and transmission exist that should receive government development reinforcement. Solar, wind, geothermal and fuel cell power and super-conducting power storage and transmission technologies should receive U.S. Government prioritization as energy technologies of vastly superior value to that of atomic or fossil fuel power. Yet with even the White House allowing the First Lady to be a huckster in Sam’s Club e-trade commercials the prospects for White House leadership to turn the nation toward clean, high tech new energy production not presently listed as Corporate Wall Street Oil or atomic corporations seems dim.

Four Fukushima prefecture atomic reactors are experiencing dangerous issues if not reactor meltdown in the days after the magnitude 9.0 equinox earthquake. U.S. Government planners should heed the lesson that atomic reactors are big, fat dangerous plumbs in advanced nations for enemies of today or the future to target with accurate cruise missiles and geo-positioning electronics. Simultaneous destruction of nuclear reactors in an advanced nation could devastate an economy for decades in addition to spewing radiation for a very long time.

Military technology proliferates even faster than atomic power plant technology. For a market based government political opinion valuing today’s profits blind to placing the equivalent of vast explosives caches around the countryside is very, very stupid indeed.

Tokyo Electric's Endangered Fukushima Prefecture Nuclear Reactors

When an earthquake can bring nuclear power plants to the brink of melt-down it is time to rethink the wisdom of building nuclear power plants. Authorities have evacuated people from the vicinity of the plants already, and the future of cooling down the leaking and overheating reactors isn't presently known.

http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/03/11/japan.nuclear/?hpt=T1

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12720219

That brings to mind the Iranian nuclear power plant designed by the people that built the Chernyobyl plant. The IRGC needs to build it so it has an excuse to produce plutonium for it that it doesn't need, in order to skim the surplus for nuclear weapons manufacture.

Just a few years ago the revolutionary bureaucracy of Iran investigated the theological opinion about the Japanese: Do they have souls or not since they are not 'people of the book'? The Khomeinist mullahs decided the Japanese do not have souls. Such sophisticated complexities may boggle the mind of westerners, yet we are sure that there must be some sort of hyper-efficient way of quickly cooling down nuclear reactors-maybe pouring liquid hydrogen in the reactor rooms or some other super fluid. If Japanese nuclear plants melt down it may be an ill wind for quality fishing in Alaska that could carry atomic waste into the atmosphere and the Aleutians. Even Chernobyl dusted much of the northern hemisphere with a little unhealthy for fish radiation.

Jesus Christ on the Triune Nature of God

In these passages Jesus Christ plainly says that he is God. God is three persons in one. God is One. The spirit of truth-the Holy Spirit, is the comforter Jesus mentions.

John 10:7"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30"I and my Father are one."

John 14:

" 8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

Effort to Discover the Most Energy Efficient Possible U.S. National Transportation Infrastructure

It would be interesting if the federal government supported a creative scientific investigation of the most efficient possible personal transportation system for the continental U.S.A. and perhaps Alaska. The criteria for the investigation could take several forms.

One might pursue the question of simple transporting an individual human from one to as many possible locations in the nation in the most efficient way regarding energy use and speed. The most efficient possible design should differ from the present fossil fuel based transportation infrastructure by several thousand percent.

I am not suggesting a specific method of transportation here. Parameters might include individual freedom to choose destinations, speed and time of travel, least real energy use per pound and so forth. It is perhaps simpler to consider pounds of weight per electron volt, flow of mass along a super-fluid and even cost per individual versus social, public and environmental cost within ecological economic parameters.

It is possible to consider encapsulating individuals within a shell such as an automobile body or not. The goal is to discover the most efficient possible national transportation infrastructure from the point of view of minimal energy use.

Mussolini's Moment; Obama, Corporatism and the Oily Recolonization of Libya

Britain and France have sought to bring the U.S.A. to support a no-fly zone over Libya. In some ways this circumstance bears similarities to the 1935 Abyssinian crisis that led eventual to Ethiopian loss of control of the region to an invading Italian fascist army and air force of the Benito Mussolini. Mussolini incidentally was the inventor of the political philosophy of corporatism-very much a close relation to fascism.

The Arab League has also voted to support a no-fly zone. States like Iraq, Bahrain and Qatar are in the Arab League, as are Somalia and Egypt. There are twenty-two member states and they perhaps are not all impartial in their preference that Moamar Kaddafi be removed from power. Khadafy obviously has baggage as a leftist radical support of terrorist causes with loud anti-colonialist idea. China and Russia as former or present neo-communist powers oppose intervention by the west.

This brings me to the curious circumstance of Michelle Obama and her advertising campaign in support of Sam's Club. Sam's Club comprises about 11% of Wal-mart profits annually and is part of the largest commercial retail business on Earth. A conflict of interest strikes me as self-evident when the First Lady promotes the largest business on Earth directly. Wal-mart does have rivals, and it is also one of the leading globalist importers of goods made by cheap second and third world labor to the United States. The advertisements stink of corporatism-the political philosophy where government and corporations act together to rule. Good food quality in Wal-mart ought to be a corporate goal, yet the First Lady should not appear to be embedded with that corporation so far as to partner in advertising. Some Americans believe Wal-Mart is actually detrimental to democracy and free enterprise because of the size.

Corporatism in U.S. economics and government was not created by the Obamas of course. Presidents Clinton and Bush I & II were leaders in degrading U.S. national interests in favor of profit for global corporations. President Bush II of course pursued oil in the Middle East as well as anti-terrorist retribution. President Obama seems like a Bush III administration in many ways. He has even forced a Nixon-Romney health insurance plan upon the nation.

So is U.S. interest in Libya not inevitably shaped to resemble a Mussolini moment of escalating interaction with the Abbysian-Libyan power? Ought Ethiopians return to rule? Can French Special Forces or clandestine legionnaires deliver anti-tank weapons, anti-aircraft missiles and oil contracts to rebels without U.S. help? Does the U.S. Government need to be a partnering Uncle Sambo providing military service on borrowed money for corporate profits in vulnerable Middle Eastern nations?

President G.W. Bush and Bill Clinton provided the role modal for America as Uncle Sambo ineptly blundering with foreign military interventions and support for offshoring jobs with burger flipping job growth at home. That's a deficit spending required policy running amuck like a crazed camel in the desert after every oasis of oil that might arise. Better, more intelligent, less Harvard labeling and sophisticating subterfuge federal economic management needs to replace invasion as usual. Thwaping sources of fossil fuels abroad like a Hillbilly market thwaping a box of cereal on a high shelf with a nail through a long stick in order to bring the product within reach of consumers is the Obama-Corporate axis of oil neo-legal procedure.

In Iran the Khomeinists have let their oil production capacity dwindle to just 20% of the Shah era production. When the Khomeinists leave Iran there is a 150 billion dollar investment required to restore the worlds 3rd largest oil and gas fields to full production. Yet oil is bad for the world atmosphere, global warming and is fundamentally a corrupt, anachronistic economic mode. Intelligence is required in government to move beyond fossil fuel economics.

War as a moral way to improve the status of women in the Muslim world is a disingenuous effort by a corporate militarism. Egypt is likely to have a return to semi-military rule or a fundamentalist government as would Libya in the absence of a perennial revolution of military forces. Historically women's rights in middle eastern countries improved most with conservative constitutional monarchy or military strong-men un fortunately. The left supported the revolution against the Shah and succeeded in bringing far worse conditions to Iranian women and men too. The shah had 5000 in jail, the Khomeinists 150,000. The executions by the revolutionary forces continue to the present far exceeding the capital punishments of the constitutional monarch.

There is probably no easy solution for the Libyan crisis. A Kaddafi victory over the rebels would perhaps be followed by a bloody purge. An intervention by the United States or N.A.T.O. would be a reinforcement of the concept of neo-colonialist hegemony of Europe and the U.S.A. over African affairs. Neither is there good logic for an Arab League inability to reinforce the rebels themselves militarily if they choose. It has also been pointed out that a no-fly zone in itself would provide insufficient military protection for rebels. What the rebels seem to need is a borrowed military, and that returns us to the question; should the United States act as the new colonial power in a modern Abyssinia?

The Saudis are rich and have economic budget surplus-they have plenty of weapons to defeat Khaddafi’s forces should they choose. Even Iraq might supply soldiers to reinforce the rebels. Why does the administration believe that the U.S.A. needs to get involved in killing people in any possible revolutionary circumstance in the world. At some point the aloof Harvard clan should realize that the foreign wars to not create domestic full employment in the U.S.A.

Crescent City California tsunami Damage etc.

This time, unlike the giant wave of 1964, there was no loss of life in Crescent City California from the tsunami. A jetty constructed after the disaster of 64 stopped the waves from Japan from hitting the City full force. Thirty five boats in the harbor were trashed and city docks damaged. Sea lions that bask on the docks they regarded as their donated sleeping and recreational spaces would need to look elsewhere for lodging.

Scientists had predicted an increased possibility of earthquake because of the approach of spring equinox and a full moon. When gravity changes its relation to crust of the earth as the Earth moves slip strike faults of plates may occur-earthquake.

George Norrie's second guest on Coast to Coast Am Thursday evening said to watch the Pacific Rim as he anticipated and earthquake. Other scientists had mentioned a potential New Madrid earthquake in Arkansas because of pumping of wastewater below the surface in drilling operations. The Alaska legislature is considering fundiong construction of a vast hydroelectric dam on Alaska's Susitna River that too will alter the relationship of Pacific Rim weights and gravity adding random factors to Earthquake potential perhaps beyond the obvious faults with the location.

Speculations were duly given to the prescence of hundreds of thousands of dead sardines at Marina Del Rey or some other places in the Los Angeles area as an indicator of a potential earthquake. Maybe someone noticed the sea lions behaving strangely. Perhaps the Japanese should create sanctuary and resting places for sea lions and dolphins along their coastlines in order to serve as sentinels for earthquakes (if animal behavior is actually a predictor of Earthquakes).

The Earth's interior is partly molten and the core may have radioactivity releasing heat. The surface is cool as it encounters the coolness of space and the atmosphere comparatively far away from the hot core. The cool crust is not just one large piece but is instead made of several fragments that adjoin moving over or below, or sliding against other 'plates' of crust. The Pacific Rim is at the margins of an Oceanic basin that is closing and has volcanoes and Earthquake activity, while the Atlantic Ocean is increasing in size and has mid ocean seafloor spreading with magma extruding at the bottom of the ocean from fissures in it.

In the future earthquake predictions may increase in accuracy. I tend to anticipate Earthquakes toward winter solstice, yet spring equinox seems to be a ripe time too occasionally.

Today one may launch a 2U or 3U micro satellite into orbit for 10,000 dollars. Some researchers are searching for changes in the earth's magnetic field as a way to predict Earthquakes with low cost experiments. These little satellites may only way 2 or 3 pounds and be packed full of micro circuits or even telescopes pointing at space or Earth too I guess.

Gitmo, Goose Creek and The Obama Terror Facility

President Obama promised to close the Guantanamo Base Incarceration Center for Terrorist Suspects upon taking office. He did not live up to his promise, and may appreciate suggestions about how to close the water boarding center for the Caribbean. Go North to Alaska! Some Alaskans have suggested selling an almost complete new prison in a remote and secure location to the U.S. Government.

Alaska is nearing completion of a splendid, new 1500 person prison at Goose Creek in scenic Matanuska-Susitna Borough (like a county) where security officials can dig in for the winter. The prison is something of a pink elephant since it will cost about 70 million dollars to operate the facility annually and the state of Alaska has motivation for selling it to the Federal government for cost plus a modest profit for Alaskans. For a very reasonable price the U.S.A. could open a safe new Obama Terror Facility useful for long-term housing present and future illegal combatants and terrorists

Goose Creek would be a secure facility. Prisoners suspected of illegal war activities could be brought to Anchorage for trial. The Federal Government could create a special Court of Terrorists in Anchorage to try suspected terror suspects. The Federal Government has created special courts before for serious social issues such as bankruptcy.

Military tribunals are inappropriate for America today obviously. They would have been useful in trying rogues of war when civil courts aren’t available yet in the modern social and legal context the military tribunal is obviously an inferior court for determination of legal justice. Military tribunals of illegal combatants are a judge and shoot on the fly sorting of affair when patchwork justice needs to supplement, rare, endangered and incompetent civil courts. No such condition exists today, unless one counts bad judicial appointments as comprising an incompetent judiciary.

Thus Goose Creek Federal Terror Processing facility could accelerate the process of getting quality justice for foreign terror suspects. A screening court might decide if a suspect qualifies for processing in the Terror Court venue rather like a Grand Jury determination of sufficiency of evidence to indict an individual. The Congress could set new legal criteria for those reaching the Terror Court venue while the U.S. military could return to its business of killing or being killed instead of making fancy legal decisions and obscuring political control of the Judicial and Executive powers.

Iran, Libya and the Clapper of Freedom

The late Ayatollah Khomeini (aka The Supreme Guide) had the opinion that America was a syphilitic, sunset culture fomenting its own destruction. His Khomeinist revolution brought a radical political sect of Shiism to power in Iran. They are not people without skill in international treachery.

Current events in political affairs bring us to consider the North Shore of Africa as our American concern. We might wonder why with the gas stations of the U.A.E. and Bahrain etc fueling tankers for all points Moammar Kaddafi’s deserts should be on the front burner of CNN. Even Senator John ‘Fighter Ace’ McCain has ideas about implementing a No-fly zone over Tripoli denying thus air superiority to the Libyan Air Force. The rebels of Libya need a quick air force at no cost and might have tweeted the world asking for one. The U.S.A. just might have one to spare in order to provide realistic fighter training to its pilots.

So what would the U.S.A. get in its providing of free air superiority to the rebel army? Well, we could get out of our 7 year old peaceful relationship with the Libyan Government. Also, no matter who wins, the United States could be denounced later as ‘The Great Satan’ that was either overthrown by local fighters or was a sponsor of the former regime.

If the United States provides for the destruction of the Libyan Government enabling a free society to develop a democracy in Libya, then we can be assured that a wealth of international terrorists will arrive to take advantage of the freedom to plot terrorist missions against America and Europe. That will stimulate creation of a strict secret police t repress the terrorist cells, and formation of a new authoritarian state.

Perhaps the prospects for a democratic utopia following destruction of Kaddafi’s Government are not so bad though. Yet even in Egypt changes will develop that will substantially alter the present regional balances of power or not.

The Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt was an early entrant I the effort to war upon Israel through support of the Palestinians. With much liberty in Egypt for the people that relationship is likely to return, and Palestinians may find much more support from Egypt and Iran too in the effort to wage a protracted low level guerrilla campaign against Israel from all of its borders.

Basically the United States has no idea of what sort of a society would develop in Libya in a post-Kaddafi era. We know that fellow travelers of Khomeinist, Salafist, Al Qaeda fundamentalist movements following in the PLO and Hamas tradition move about quite readily to take advantage of community organizing opportunities (the community of terrorist planners) that arise in the middle east, central Asia and nearly anywhere on Earth that government permits such formations to develop. Though Khomeinists are Shi’ia, they are major financiers of Sunni Hamas terrorism against Israel. It is unlikely that Iran has no part in the North African evolutions of recent weeks.

The U.S.A. should not act as a decisive military belligerent in national or regional conflicts in which we have no idea what sort of government will emerge. To act so would reduce the United States to the position of being an agent of anarchism.

We know that Iran has been taken by Khomeinist neo-Nazis down a road of perpetual radicalization since 1979. An essential plank of the regime is destruction f the United States. The Khomeinist methodology is something like that of the Trotskyite branch of the Marxist revolution in Russia in seeking a global, universal takeover of political power.

In the United States we tend to regard Iran as a radical Islamic power, and that is inaccurate to the extent of being misleading. Khomeinism is more of a political than a religious philosophy using its eccentric Shiite version of Islam as a kind of Vahhalistic motivating faith like Nazi’s of yore.

Shiite, twelver Islam is a fascinating sect to study. Iran is a fascinating country to read of. Khomeinists have mostly repressed the national sense of Persianhood and history. Khomeini even repressed Persian language in favor of Arabic interpretations for moral authority. President Amahdinejab has had conversations with the several centuries dead ‘hidden imam’, and the cult of Shiite twelvers (twelve imams) has expanded the medieval practice of selling indulgences for help with one’s relationship with Allah.

The Cult of Khomeinism that has foisted repression of national Persian consciousness upon Iranians is an historical development that had a chance to probabilistically occur in that politically heavily trafficked region of the world too rich to elaborate upon in this essay. Americans should be aware that Khomeinists provide financial support to anti-American movements all over the world. That the United States did not effect a coup d’état that brought the Shah to power, actually it was quite the opposite. The Shah was a constitutional monarch that had twice legally fired Prime Minister Mossadeq, who had himself fired the parliament. The Shah actually fled Iran briefly as Mossadeq seemed to be taking over illegally, before popular support for the Shah drove Mossadeq to retire from consideration of making a coup occur in his favor.

In reading ‘The Persian Night’ about the Khomeinist revolutionary era by Amir Teheri there are hundreds of useful historical facts presented worth using as elements for construction a regional political theory. One of the most interesting is about the lack of political philosophers, or Islamic philosophers in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Teheri was the editor of the largest newspaper in Teheran before the 79 revolution and seems knowledgeable of the major players in Iran then and now. As an American with an avocation in reading philosophy I was surprised to learn that besides the obvious Islamic influences of specialized Shiist sects that would influence the Khomeinists two European philosophers that I am familiar with comprises the most substantial philosophical context. Those philosophers are martin Heidegger and Karl Popper.

Amahdinejab is a Heideggerian (the school in power since 2005) and his guru-mentor is one Mezbah-Yazdi. Teheri writes that Khomeinists have muddled up the philosophy of both Popper and Heidegger to suit their own requirements and incompetence. That’s reasonable enough for mongrelizing philosophy is an ordinary practice as is eliminates the need to spend much time reading philosophy.

Heidegger is sometimes portrayed as pro-Nazi. Popper was the basic anti-Nazi pro-rationalism philosopher. The Khomeinists seem to have entirely failed to understand Popper, yet it is easier to misunderstand Heidegger.

Heidegger was made Education Minister of Nazi Germany yet quit the post before the Second World War started and retired to live in a hut in the forest. Before the Nazi atrocities and such it might have been more difficult for a citizen to turn down a high paying government job with good national socialist union benefits. Conversely it is easy to understand why the Nazis like Heidegger’s philosophy although nearly impossible to understand why the Khomeinists do.

Heidegger in Being and Time (‘Sein und Zeit’) wrote much about language meaning and discovery of the original ‘root word’ meaning of words as a way to get to a more primordial philosophical world-view. It was believed that language controlled world view for a time in 20th century Europe. Lenin was of the same opinion.

Nazi’s were a kind of hype-aboriginal white tribe asserting their primordial aboriginal rights-of-war in the midst of fields of invading species (people from other places). I suppose one might even make an argument for exclusive democratic self-determination fit into such a local context, and hence might a corruption of Popper’s ideas in support of democracy and rationalism ensue.

Philosophically we tend to regard Quinian linguistic ontological relativity as a meta-context for language meanings. That is, we do not find a Platonic universal meaning in words for themselves as might Heidegger. Rectification of etymological word values with contemporary language can be a rewarding practice yet it cannot be philosophically transformed into supplying a Platonic right-of-invasion or right-of-war. The relationship between words and objects or between words and material structures is an intellectual and associative one rather than a material or necessary relationship. Words and empirical reality are different things. An etymological regression into history may help uncover history though it cannot provide a philosophical truth for-itself.

Christians, Zoroastrians or Muslims would need to rely upon their faith and personalized instruction r revelation from God such as exists to supplement scientific knowledge of the world rather than locating a language-meaning of-the-universe that has magically true clues about reality-for-itself. Of course I do not believe that Khomeinists are as naïve as to believe in magical incantations inspired by Martin Heidegger, yet their interest in philosophy is interesting enough.

The United States might have a foreign policy with a rational political philosophy or not. Very likely it is an ad hoc economic-free market classical western neo-liberalism with expansion into a universal phase of synergy with planetary nations. It is an approach without an ability to explain subtleties of Khomeinist or Islamic thought to the masses. Neither has it evolved a post-cold war non-dualistic political philosophy able to work toward a rational nationalism on a rectified economic basis f low entropy economics able to serve as a good example for the rest of the world. Though Iran is not the only nation today without a long range rational political philosophy of comparative advantage to other nations, neither is the United States terribly well suited to act as an informed agent in Middle Eastern political turbulence.

Modern philosophical creations of world views take into account not only the collected works of western philosophy from the pre-Socratics to the post-modern linguistic philosophers, but also of science and history. The challenging historical times of Persia and Europe, Africa and etc fit into deeper awareness retrospectively of the journeys of the human race out of Africa and the dispersion across the globe from 100,000 years before present. On that course language groupings and technology have clustered, formed, progressed and travelled to new regions. Conflicts between social groupings have occurred along with the development of class consciousness and specialized occupational behaviors after the foundations of civilizations.

Humanity has sought perennially to rectify the social relationships created by class stratification and exploitation that inevitably occur with the necessary social occupational specializations of civilizations. Those conflicts include property use and commonly the right of survival issues.

Philosophers are aware of comparative religions, the ecosphere and the scale of the observable universe and of what it is composed of relatively speaking. Philosophers reach beyond adoption of a simple world view to learn what is possible for an individual. Implicit recognition of the simplicity of human cognition and limit of human knowledge is the simple world view within which as much data might be compiled and considered as is practical. This effort to liberate oneself from ignorance simultaneously seeks to liberate social political consciousness from ideologies failing Kant’s moral imperative applied to the level of human peaceful coexistence at a national and individual level. Subjective religious beliefs and the freedom to express oneself are intrinsic liberties of a free society. Such a society is no syphilitic and decadent as Khomeini said. A society liberated from terminally corrupting political philosophies leading to repression of individual self-determination and destruction of the global ecosphere has a better chance of health.
