Russia, Ukraine and Compassionate State Reorganizationism

The Ukraine has the fourth lowest birth rate in the world and only 44 million people. It is a productive place with a large land area that reasonable should have a rapproachment with the new Russia that itself may evolve a free enterprise democracy free of rampant corporatism in time. When Russia raised its tricolor flag on 26 Dec. 1991 to declare itself an independent new nation free of Soviet control it began the long process of repairing the damages done by the Dictator from Georgia Joseph Djugashvilli and the Soviet communist party. Repressing the desire of Russia to secure its traditional lands in its possession prior to the Soviet revolution isn’t reasonable. The Soviet communists were not elected to power by popular vote to start.

One wonders where statesmanship and wisdom depart to after a nation experiences international political success. The axiom that some can’t stand prosperity evidently applies to foreign policy too. After the end of the cold war the United States managed to botch relations with the new Russia, pile up $17 trillion of public debt and outsource so many jobs while concentrating wealth and degrading democracy. The Congress can’t even pass a budget. U.S. leadership still has time to bugger up international relations and the media too much sound jingoistic in being Don Quixote cold wars tilting against the Soviet Union in the 21st century of imagination.

The Ukraine was taken away briefly from Russia by V.I. Lenin and Trotsky who cut a deal with the Kaiser so they could quit W.W.I Yet that giveaway was reversed at the Treaty of Versailles concluding W.W.I. The Ukraine was divided up in three parts with the Soviets getting the eastern part. During the war 3.5 million Ukrainians fought for Russia and a quarter million fought on the other side.. The U.S. Government in effect has the same policy as Kaiser and Hitler toward the Ukraine in that it should all belong to someone else than Russia. Yet Ukraine is as much Russian homeland as Israel is for Jews although other people live their too.

The Ukraine emerged as independent January 24 1991 following the dissolution of the former Soviet Union.  In the absence of a government in Russia and with pressure and support from the West political independence was an obvious evolution from the failed system. It does not necessarily follow however that Russia should forfeit claim to its traditional lands though Russia itself had been taken over by Soviet coup. Russia is a perennial land much like Britain in that regard even if Scotland moves for independence a rump state of Britain will remain.

Weak Soviet and Russian leaders have been pressurized by the west to give up the Ukraine before. Lenin, and Yeltsin signed treaties about the Ukraine and Hitler just took the western part and that could never have occurred without the threat or use of violence.

Ukrainian leaders cooperated with the Nazi’s after the invasion as they hated the Soviets because of the mass starvation Stalin directed. Ukrainian auxiliary police helped round up Jews for the holocaust.

-quote from Wikipedia article on Ukrainian Collaboration With the Nazis…

The atrocities against the Jewish population during the Holocaust started within a few days of the beginning of German occupation. There are indications that the Ukrainian auxiliary police was used in the round-up of Jews for the Babi Yar massacre[8][9] and in other Ukrainian cities and towns, such as Lviv,[10][11] Lutsk,[12] and Zhytomyr.[13] On September 1, 1941, Nazi-controlled Ukrainian newspaper Volhyn wrote "The element that settled our cities (Jews)... must disappear completely from our cities. The Jewish problem is already in the process of being solved."[14]

In May 2006, a Ukrainian newspaper Ukraine Christian News commented: "Carrying out the massacre was the Einsatzgruppe C, supported by members of a Waffen-SS battalion and units of the Ukrainian auxiliary police, under the general command of Friedrich Jeckeln. The participation of Ukrainian collaborators in these events, now documented and proven, is a matter of painful public debate in Ukraine.".[15]

Russia has never backed down from a peer war and has won a few, almost always in defense. Russian fought for 500 years to get the Mongol hordes out of their country. The United States has no comparable history. Custer lost a battle against Indians fighting for honor while Bill Clinton had Janet Reno protecting his flank yet blew it anyway. Respect Russian history and give their present status honor, they have overcome dictators in ways the U.S.A. can’t even imagine, and may need to one day. The end of history did not occur in Dec. 1989.

Russia should have the East side of the Don River for traditional security against invaders and because it’s rightly Russian. When one might ask, did Russia ever invade the west? Wasn’t it the French (Napoleon), German’s (Hitler) and Mongols (Far East) who invaded and occupied Moscow? Snatch and grabbing the vast lands to the east defended by weak transitional rulers shouldn’t rollover to be a 21st century policy. Boston D.C. bullies shouldn’t be so cold blooded in disregarding history. Historians shouldn’t be on the side of goons of conquest and write sycophantic propaganda. D.C. politicians should teach the world to sing in perfect harmony their own personalized chords of moral and economic creativity.

New York Times Map from 1918

File:Dismembered Russia — Some Fragments (NYT article, Feb. 17, 1918).png

In an era short of easy lands to colonize around the globe the Russian lands in the late Soviet Union are easy back-yard pickings for N.A.T.O., Boston and Washington D.C. as irresistible as a bucket of Colonel Sanders chicken with original formula, gravy, biscuits, mashed potatoes and cole slaw on the side.

Today’s western political carpet baggers and the Nazis looked to the fertile Ukraine as blingin booty. The Ukraine is the third largest grain producer in the world and a major exporter to global food supply.

With a corrupt national economic policy without the derivatives and banking scams available presently the plundering of historically Russian territory like the Eastern Ukraine and Crimea is about all that’s available. Destabilizing Russia by emasculating their southern nether regions is not in the long range interest of stable world peace. Obviously wars pay good money to arms manufacturers and defense contractors in the U.S.A. though.

Since President Wilson signed a separate peace with Germany at the end of the First World War that did not guarantee French security the U.S.A. has implemented malfunctioning international security arrangements for short-term profit. From the Paris peace talks ending the Vietnam conflict to the failed nation rebuilding policy of Iraq and Afghanistan U.S. foreign policy has been malfunctional. Abusing post-Soviet Union Russia now with N.A.T.O. bullies so martinets can plunder Russia for-profit is senseless. A stable Russia sharing the Ukraine with locals would remove the real threat to Russia of aggressive western military build up and that intimidating concern on its borders. Washington D.C. forces its dresses upon foreign leaders and their populace wherever it can these days in order to conform to the image of the godless beast of scientism.

The Ukraine provided troops that fought for the Nazis in the Second World War. It is always possible to find those that will fight for any cause viewed as promoting narrow self-interest. When the United States helped stage a coup against the Iranian Prime Minister a half century ago it built a foundation for troubles that never ceased. With so many enemies in the world today and with so vast of a public debt is it a good idea to place Russia permanently on the side of those that have been unfairly wounded by U.S. foreign policy and so build a future of existential instability?

It is important to see the woods as well as the trees in making strategic foreign policy decisions. Continuing with inertia from old cold war criteria is understandable for Senator McCain who was eight years a P.O.W. yet for President Obama it’s disingenuous; he was living in Indonesia or paradise island. President Suharto was no communist.

U.S. Secretary of State Kerry said his generation of vets were war criminals. Changing sides from that of sailor and decorated veteran to anti-war protest leader and heroic symbol of turncoat to left counter-culture regardless of the merits of that movement John Kerry used that platform to run for political office, become a Senator and take an heiress wife of a multi-billion dollar ketchup empire. Profiteering is in the blood. The Ukraine is the present l.e.m. of desire. Obama, Kerry et al are procuring a corporate annexation of land that should be shared with Russia on the east side of the river Don and Nazi-corporatist/Boston D.C. axis of gay symps on the left ought be considered.

Russia has been a good partner in the war against Muslim terrorism since 9-11 and provide a warning about the about the Boston Marathon bomber that was ignored. With the approaching end to U.S. ineptitude in Afghanistan soon as it enters a new phase Russia might choose to withhold cooperation in sharing intelligence on terrorism with the U.S.A. if sanctions are imposed. U.S. diplomacy and competence at international justice are lacking inn the Ukrainian affair. It seems as if the dope smoking advocate I.Q. attrition challenged Democrat Party leadership thinks it a football game to cheer for ‘their’ side. Did anyone in that party study up Russian history at all?

Reagan wins the peace, the follow up profligate boomer military runts acting like carpet baggers should leave off with the idiocy and just let Russia renormalize to a stable configuration. That does not include the Baltic Republics or the other now independent nations of the former Soviet Union unless they freely want to associate with a renormalized post-Soviet non-communist Russia.

Is there a TIme Limit on Making the World a Better Place?

Philosophical questions and the contemplation of the meaning of life in relation to a consumerist, globalist political economy juxtapose paradoxes of mind, God, transcendence freedom and the problems of quantitative analysis with finite material opportunities. Vast human historical movements coerce people to live in social currents simultaneously bettering and degrading individual experience of existence. Discovering a real-time synthetic course paradigm for developing human potential without spiritual decay is challenging.

Perhaps it's something like a chess game deliberation of the array of pieces and potential vectors in combinations that may occur yet that are mutually exclusive scenarios in the future with or without intervention (if one is playing the standard theory). Can one make the world a better place in a limited human life span? What would comprise making it better? Would a society with mass extinction of life be better, or one with global warming or thermonuclear war, deforestation, dictatorship, doped up proles in Matrix style containment clusters or atheistic bioforms that don't believe in free will and so have no ethics at all? Can individuals work to preserve individual liberty with the networking power of corporatism and socialism merging together to repress personal liberty from ubiquitous social pressure?

I wish you luck in the effort to make the world a better place. Jesus Christ with the humility of God made quite an effort that was the foundation for western civilization after late antiquity. The Church was an element unifying pagan tribes in the British Isles and elsewhere. The brevity of life and uncertainty affecting human choices bring a certain log-rolling slipperiness to the effort.

On Secretary Kerry's Threats to Russia Over The Crimea

The Ukraine was Russia’s breadbasket for centuries. In a cold northern country the farm belt is an important area. It is difficult to survive on whale blubber and vodka alone. Europeans since the dark ages have nevertheless sought hostile takeover of the Ukraine and periodically have annexed it through war. The Ukraine is still a vast productive farming region of Europe and is viewed favorably by nations as remote as Sweden. In fact if Russian power were rolled back further Sweden might look to take up the work of King Carl Gustav in taking lands held by Russia.

That king fled to the Crimea eventually and was arrested. Sect. Kerry of the U.S.A. is making threats and imprecations such that Russia should have no claim upon the Ukraine or even the Crimea; a city built not with rock and roll but with Russians lest sanctions and international isolation ensue. Taking the Crimea away from Russia is like taking New Orleans and Pass a Loutre away from the U.S.A. Russia's warm water port has always been a national security requisite for that nation-one Secretary Kerry seems to want to castrate.

On March 1 Secretary Kerry said; "The United States condemns the Russian Federation's invasion and occupation of Ukrainian territory, and its violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity in full contravention of Russia’s obligations under the UN Charter, the Helsinki Final Act, its 1997 military basing agreement with Ukraine, and the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. This action is a threat to the peace and security of Ukraine, and the wider region.

I spoke with President Turchynov this morning to assure him he had the strong support of the United States and commend the new government for showing the utmost restraint in the face of the clear and present danger to the integrity of their state, and the assaults on their sovereignty. We also urge that the Government of Ukraine continue to make clear, as it has from throughout this crisis, its commitment to protect the rights of all Ukrainians and uphold its international obligations."

It should be noted that after the dissolution of the Soviet Union the Russian Government was tentative and disoriented. Agreements conceded by it at that time were made with no small element of coercion and might be compared to distressed sales of property at bargain basement prices. The United States was the large power enacting the coercion then and now and the U.N. would be wise to employ recalcitrance about being sycophants for causes with dubious morality. An insecure Russia is not in the security interests of the west or the east.
President Gorbachev, the last leader of the Soviet Union could trust President Ronald Reagan. When Reagan went to Berlin and said ‘President Gorbachev, tear down this wall’ Gorbachev had no worry that N.A.T.O. under Reagan would invade. Peace would break out with Russian troop withdrawals by Dec. 1989 from East Germany en mass. As I mentioned to a fellow passenger on a train to Berlin in Nov. 1987 what I guessed would happen if the Soviet Union broke apart; an economic centrifugal force cut off from the center would fling the peripheral nations into a myriad of individually independent entities, peacefully more or less. There is a difference between nations of the former Soviet Union occupied during World War Two in fighting against the Nazis and those nations that were formerly part of the Soviet Union and Russia before. The former plainly have a right to self determination while the latter have a closer relationship to the new Russia emerging from the wreckage of the old government. Would America allow the states to go their own way of they want or even to have their own moral choices such as limiting marriage to heterosexual reproduction support criteria?

Maintaining peace and a non-carpet bagging principle of non-aggression by the more stable west was an element of Reagan’s policy yet with time following U.S. leadership has reverted gradually to a more typical human organizational footing of opportunistic economic predation.

Secretary of State Kerry’s bluster about Russian troops ‘invading’ the Crimea is a wrong tone and bad paradigm. Europe needs peace, prosperity and ecospheric recovery with full employment as does Russia. Even of Russia allows the Ukraine to be independent with good will, recovering from the damage done by the Soviet Union and its break up is challenging to Russia and will continue. The U.S. Government seems to have no competence in Russian history at all and is as diplomatically as a Hatfield arbitrator of the Hatsfields and McCoy conflicts.

If the United States had a weak, corrupt communist government that in breaking up gave Florida to Cuba would it be wrong or invasive for a rest\to health new U.S. Government to send troops to Florida at the request of t5he people that state who formerly had some ties to America as incredible as that seems? Lawyers in the Executive branch should not act as petty, shyster legalists arguing for hegemony over foreign nations in a two-dimensional approach to a three dimensional world. Reagan didn’t do so and brought peace and prosperity. Spoilt follow-up leadership has brought war, 17 trillion dollars of debt and excess tax cuts and deregulation to the U.S.A. No amount of legal quackery changes the reality of things for-themselves.

What is the actual foundation of international law besides power? The United States as the present international 800 pound guerilla was said to have used the Ukraine as a site for extraordinary rendition and torture interrogation of captives in the war against terrorism. The United States has violated international law whenever if felt it useful to do so. International law exists between consenting nations and powerless nations subject to pressure and besides that its force de majeure. The United States should help the Ukraine and Russia to be good friends and neighbors with good words and good offices-it ought to be easy, instead of a promoter of conflict and the possible shedding of blood. Even U.S. security interests would be adversely impacted by seeking to isolate and impose sanctions on Russia. One feels that intelligent leadership is lacking in Washington D.C.

One also wonders if Russia had more time to develop a free market economy and was more prosperous if the Ukraine wouldn’t prefer a free trade deal with Russia rather than the E.U.?

In 1302 Pope Boniface VIII claimed hierocratic power to appoint all temporal political leaders such as the Emperor of the Holy Roman Emperor in a papal bull named Unam Sanctam. In 1324 Marsilius of Padua published a brilliant treatise named Defensor Pacis/Defendor of the Peace wherein he wrote that the citizens of a state-universitis civium and the people of faith-universitis fideum are twin sources of political and ecclesiastical power. Power flows from the bottom up-unfortunately as does money these days rather than the top down. Leaders are to be servants of the people. Jesus Christ was the perfect example of that. Bureaucrats ought to be ready to throw themselves into a pothole to smooth out the path of the truck of commerce instead of taxing it or outsourcing it’s ownership to global networks of concentrated wealth. When U.S. political leadership fails to serve the people well from the bottom up and instead serves financial flummery for the rich it gets into maladroit positions harmful to U.S. national interests. One thinks they are incapable of conflict resolution and progress satisfactory to even simple friends and neighbor issues such as in the Ukraine. One wonders how many agents provocateurs are engaged in puffing up the crisis for the benefit of unknown powers.

Ukraine as Corporatism's Object for Creative Destruction Morphing to the Practico-Inert

The Ukraine historically is unstable. It was an object of hostile takeover from being a part of Russia by great invading and deal-making powers. Ownership has changed hands innumerable times and after the resolution of then current transitional crisis it is likely to change again. For the globalist Obama administration seeking to enrich the rich with tax cuts and free trade deals as well as bring atheism and homosexuality to traditional cultures the Ukraine is a juicy target for takeover by proxies.  It is said that 70% of Americans use illegal drugs. The other 30% use the drug of greed. Stability in national affairs is not a blip on their radar screen. They have entered the Twilight Zone of globalism.

The Obama administration has another military occupation to run from later this year in Afghanistan. Thereafter a better Al Qaeda training camp than Osama Bin Laden had is likely to evolve from the American trained Afghan military. Afghanistan may develop better terrorist training infrastructure with I.S.I help than Iraq got after the U.S. admitted it bungled Iraq’s occupation and reconstruction so they ran away as in Vietnam-at least which is probably the common kitsch point of view in the world of global terrorism.

The U.S.A. has excellent weapons yet is deficient in political reasoning diplomatically speaking. While it’s military can win its politicians will lose the victory failing any sort of competent criteria for how to arrange things with real politik. Perhaps that’s a result of then post-World War Two success; European reconstruction was incredible and the United States took much of the credit with then unfortunate result that it brought a delusional mentality of competence at political leadership. From Korea to Iraq the results are manifest. Maybe Ronald Reagan was the sole exception to the rule.

The Democratic Party in the United States has a history of fomenting civil wars at home and abroad. It prefers to indirectly procure properties and power with creative destruction. The Ukraine may itself experience the phenomenon of the creative destruction of civil war. Even in Iran the left supported the overthrow of the Shah and the rise of the Ayatollah Khomeini. As in Iraq after Sadam Hussein’s takeover the left was deleted.

Corporatism is the west these days the Ukrainians look to. The west though is Wall Street and the other global trading floors including the Red Chinese. So Ukrainians want to be taken over by globalists to be indoctrinated with atheism, have their Internet and public communications censored by corporatists and to move homosexuals into prominence in their government and military. Even with cool hip hopping music something really bad would the environmental transformation to large corporate farms with vast wheat farms instead of small, private holdings that follows corporate takeover.

The west is evolving-it’s not your mom and pop west of Roosevelt and Eisenhower any more. It is becoming more like the evil empire with a concentrated wealth imperialism finessing peons of nominal democracy with bread and circuses that can’t even win the Olympic Winter Games. Where you might ask are real winter sports like a mile snowshoe run,five-story, free-style rock climbing  or bicycle racing on packed snow and ice?

The United States since the end of the former Soviet Union has taken a turn toward deregulation and irresponsibility in business speaking. The post-ideological pseudo-reason is that Adam Smith’s invisible hand of sub-conscious market guidance will be the adult regulating political affairs from a cloud even if the cloud is owned by stock owning networks of the 1% trading at speed of light in dark pools globally.

American leadership seems unaware that nationalism evolved to take down imperialism and that nationalism is still and important political balance to various trans-national evolving forms of corporate imperialism. While the United States may use the rhetoric about democracy of the cold war in practice democracy in the United States is becoming comparatively incapable from drowning in corporate power. Like the decadent over-extended Western Roman Empire the United States will piss away its own national economic and political sovereignty.

If the Ukraine is independent that is not too bad. If Russia owns the Crimea or an independent Crimea emerges that is good. What would not be good would be to make a weak Ukraine under corporatist power flooded with Muslims, atheistic and state imposed homosexual hegemony over public affairs including the degradation of marriage. The creative destruction of traditional values including family farms, church and marriage are real goals of the modern corporatist power that trust is scientific atheists as Zarathustran managers of then human herd. Instead, a Muslim takeover of the former Soviet Republics of the south and the Black Sea littoral will develop. Russia was a traditional defense against Muslim invasion from the south and East. Russia absorbed the brunt of oriental assaults on Europe serving as their Eastern front security force. Those with a Jim Crowe era view that white racial Europeans, Slavs and Jews that look European are the problem tend to support the present move toward global imperialism through corporatism. It would be an enslaved atheist, queered up pig farm with bread and circuses scientifically controlled with just those nasty Muslims, Christians and religious Jews in opposition.

Helmetless Motorcycle Ridin Head Injuries Cost $1.3 Million

When an bare-headed motorcycle rider bounces his head along the asphalt it causes a lot of dead brain cells to develop. Treating those riders costs about an average 1.3 million bucks according to a Nov. 16, 2013 report in The Economist. The public is paying those costs commonly since a lot of Americans haven't got 1.3 mil in their rainy day account. Existential do-it-your own way compiled for all of society can be expensive and inefficient.

Having rode a motorcycle a little myself I know that helmets tend to be heavy, although the visor does keep bugs from suddenly impacting one's face or eyes. Its good to ride along in a kind of dreamy freedom with quick, responsive steering that may be inadequate anyway if taking a turn too fast. Why not invent new lightweight helmets for motorcycles and pro footballers of American and soccer styles?

Ultra-lightweight bike rider-type helmets specially designed to let soccer players use their head to hit a ball might cut down on brain damage to those athletes over protracted head ball butting. Doesn't seem like a big problem-maybe they could have heads up visors with tactical data about opfor player deployments and better instantly implement better plays. American footballers and motorcycle riders need something different-lightweight, effective perhaps with an expanded on impact air bag liner between inner and outer players or a honeycomb helmet that is designed to be disposable after a certain amount of use with air pocket cellular collapsing bubble layers, ball bearings to reduce angled contact friction and better design for foam and heat dispersion.

One imagines that a lot of money is made on designing ultra-lightweight football helmets with collision sense data impact chips, podcast reception, language translation and video of the field with cheat sheets for plays that some can't remember because of memory loss.

Put the Crimea in Russia Custody With Ukrainian Movement West

The Ukrainian problem is an historically recurrent phenomenon. A nice place away from the center of anything with beach front property it has often been divided by great powers or cut in deals to bring peace temporary or lasting for a while longer. V.I. Lenin gave the Ukraine to Germany in the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk in order to back out of the First World War that was regarded as a battle royal (Kaisers vs. Romanovs, Hapsburgs, and Windsors etc.).

The Ukraine has been inhabited by human beings for at least 40,000 years according to the Wikipedia article on its history. The first horse was domesticated in the Ukraine. It's been domestically ruled by as many as three ruling clans at any given time such as Mongols, Lithuanians and Russians, Poles, Germans, Austrians and Hungarians.. Ukrainians sometimes revolt or have nuclear plant meltdowns; it's just the way things are.

The first ruler of the Rus, about 975, was  a Verangian/Viking named Yaroslav who looked like Hulk Hogan's great great great etc. The Rus of Kiev were a little disorganized and so they asked the distant warrior to be their king, he consented and the succession of a million little princlings followed with each getting a smaller piece of the inheritance pie. By the time in the 19th century when Fedor Dostoyevsky wrote The Idiot about Prince Mishkin, many princes and nobles were landless and others had a few acres though some had much more). While Russia expanded and relocated the capitol north to Moscow later it was far from aloof politically speaking. Moscow was invaded and occupied for a year circa 1400 by Timur Lenk-a Turkicized Mongol of the Chagatai tribe and others of course (e.g. Napoleon, Hitler). Timur was debatably the greatest conqueror in world history and one of the most barbaric building literal towers of skulls here and there. He conquered Syria, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Mesopotamia, Georgia, much of Russia, India, the Caucasus and Lithuania amongst other places.

Stabilizing the Ukraine is good for east-west relations reducing tensions across the continent. It isn't a thing that Satan would want. With accentuation of the positive in ecospheric economic reform and with a more rational and less belligerent approach to military security the nations and Ukraine in particular can prosper better. Probably Russia should take the Crimea as part of Russia since it’s full of Rus and has been a Russian possession before while the Ukraine should enter the common market and be a member of N.A.T.O. if it wants do it can send troops to the next Afghanistan. Russians won't be jealous about that.

The Ukrainian should just get on with the realistic business of being ecospherically thoughtful Ukrainians again and work on taming the policy of non-renewable economic and ecosphere use to make it work for long-range sustainability inclusive of natural genetic diversity of flora and fauna. There is quite a vast left-wing and sometime flip-side right wing inertia toward networking and massification of everything pasteurizing logic and reason into a few commercial varieties that isn't very smart. Letting locals set their own moral values is as important and keeping intellectual freedom of expression and freedom of individual enterprise free from oppressive mobs. Good luck Ukraine.

Fed Judge Rules Texas Can't Pass Laws On Human Behavior-Anything Geos

With the power of the gun the U.S. Government can impose it's will upon the states regarding an evolution to moral depravity. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Queer-symp judges of a globalist evil empire can swing the meaning of words against public will if they have great enough reward for doing so

In fact the Federal Judge ruling that Texas cannot have a law banning homosexual marriage decided that Texas legislators cannot make laws about laws. It seems though that nothing requires the state to pass law extending marriage to homosexuals though, or to animals, triples, quartets or corporations. In theory nothing at all should require the strates to provide legal institutions for any sort of behavioral pattern without voter consent.

So if homosexuals want to 'marry' in some states nothing requires other states to recognize those marriages any more than concealed carry laws of other states.

If the U.S. Government is simply corrupt and demonically possessed as if the evil empire cast out of the Soviet Union moved to Washington D.C. like a legion of devils into Gadarene swine the states will need to resist the degradation of morality as best they can.

Reading from A Universal Widget in the Realm of Forms (video)

I read about a half-hour from my science fiction novel The Universal Widget in the Realm of Forms. Voice-over unrelated yet amusing images. A philosopher-entrepreneur, Patrick Voevoda, and his excellent quantum entangled mate  Yvonne discuss quantum cosmology and the missing Universal Widget discovering traces of its inventive interventions in the Rangestar system's planet Spud.

The Presidential Sodom and Gomorrah Economic Policy

President Obama as a shill for implanting economic policy favorable to global corporatist needs something to pacify the Democrat Party that is for-itself deficient of economic reason or patriotism this decade. Global corporatists have learned how to market to American masses in the age of intellectual and ideological fracture. They provide homosexuality and illegal drugs along with incessant broadcast media reinforcement of immoral values-that is those values not in support of tax cuts for the rich, homosexual marriage and denationalization of the economy.

Nations opposed to homosexual marriage tend to also be in favor of economic nationalism. China has a state policy allowing foreign corporations ton own just 49% of any Chinese Corporation thus keeping political control national. Russia and Saudi Arabia tend to operate along the same lines-remember Saudi’s nationalization of Aramco. Homosexuality within a Nietszchian ‘beyond good and evil’ amoral context allowing wealthy elites to act immorally without moral reproach tends to be an agent of dissolution of existing, national and traditional economic social infrastructure. That sort of policy is favored by a bought and paid for administration and supported by a Democrat Party without national economic reason.

It is challenging to have confidence in any administration policy. Economic sins of omission and commission makes us wonder if the line of famous Guzman's; the founder of the Dominican Order, The Founder of the Shining Path and the founder of the Sinaloa Cartel, has this time presented a no-bodyguards voluntary return to the penalty box for political benefits to a Chicago political machine. One wonders why a Mexican-border saltwater canal to desalinate water for farming through evaporation and condensation isn't mentioned as the draught may just be in the beginning stages of long-term increase in the Southwest. The answer is that such policy would enhance  U.S. national security and economic interests. Like a bill in congress to require that 51% ownership of any corporation in the U.S.A. be American, Wall  Street globalists wouldn't like it.

The appeal of an amoral culture beyond good and evil is substantial for the average citizens of a post-modern democracy. Ethics and intellect require intellectual effort. To be immersed instead of a pre-intellectual milieu of hedonist evolutionary amoral impulse reinforced by media and government works for many yet collectively it is a sleeper hold mercy killing the electorate’s reason. The Presidential policy development of the Democrat Party encapsulated like an amoral commune within a corporate global network struck does not bode well for the prospects for American inventiveness, economic reform or even life on Earth.

Elements of Church History Before the Dark Ages (incl. video)

In writing of a history of the Christian church in the ancient era after the end of the apostolic era and before the start of the Middle Ages one ought to determine where the word church arose and what it meant. Because of the 3rd Goth invasions of Asia Minor at the end of the classical era of history associated with the fall of the Western Roman Empire many Greek words were brought into Germanic languages including. In Greek the original term for Christian assemblies was ἐκκλησία or ekklēsia and ecclesia. Arising from the Greek word referring to city-state assemblies that only citizens could participate in ecclesia was also used by Christians to refer to their own assemblies.

Cirice is the proximal Old English forerunner of the English word church via a Greek into German etymlogical path. A congregation of the Lord was ἐκκλησία κυριακή ekklēsia kuriakē. That made it into  West German as kirika from κυριακή kuriakē. The word for Lord was κύριος-kurios. Old English derived cirice from  from kirika and thus church emerged. An assembly of people who are believers that Jesus Christ is Lord is the church.

The development of social organization around Jesus to spread the good news followed his instruction in Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This leaves open the possibility of preaching the gospel one day to extra-terrestrials I suppose.

Development of the Christian church in many respects occurs within a contemporary historical tapestry of change and social development. Empires arise and civilizations fall. The proliferation of Christian faith and the establishment of churches in communities transcend borders and governments. In fact the establishment of the church itself creates a form of government itself in the evolution of the episkopos or bishops and the ekklesia or assembly that becomes a church structure prevalently within an Episcopal organizational patrimony. Even before the end of the first century Clement of Rome wrote epistles to other churches as an authority. One asks why the egalitarianism of early Christianity changed during the second century largely to an Episcopal structure as the apostolic era faded away. The answer is twofold. One, there was a need to establish a catholic or standard doctrine amidst the diverse assemblies and secondly human social organization tend to organize hierarchically to reflect authority.

The churches of North Africa, the Near East and Asia Minor developed regional authorities or Bishops with some more influential than others. Initially the churches of Antioch, Jerusalem and Rome were regarded more or less equally as centers of authority. Later Constantinople arrived to be considered an equal Christian center of authority, yet the development of Church authority in equal proportional measure with population and political power resembles in some ways the kind of proportional government found in the U.S. House of Representatives with those from populous states collectively having more representation. In the church history that evolved into Rome being the seat of authority in Western Europe especially after the fall of the Western Roman Empire and in the East Constantinople emerged as the center of Christian authority with much respect for Rome until the second schism.

One might say that the post-Apostolic increase of early Christianity was a process of missions, increase in the numbers of the faithful and ossification of hierarchical church structure under the authority of a bishop, and the bishops increased in number eventually recognizing particular metropolitan bishops as Bishops of Bishops or prime ministers under the authority of Christ. Church doctrine developed such that the opinions of the bishops were regarded as if they were themselves spokesmen for the Lord. Of course in the era before electronic communications perhaps they were approximately right. Keeping orthodoxy of faith and disseminating the true gospel without error such as Monophysitism and Arianism required a certain standardized coordination in the entire Christian world that was roughly the same area as that of the Roman Empire.

Institutional methods for distinguishing Christians from heretical votaries were developed conforming to standardized catechetical instruction and pubic baptism to symbolize admission of righteous faith.  Peter’s confession in Matthew 16:16 was the forerunner of creeds of faith and Matthew 28-19 of Trinitarian baptismal expressions.
