A.I. and Robots Probably Can Replace Most Human Occupations

 The rise of A.I. recently that is growing by leaps and bounds will become more revolutionary than when computers replaced secretaries; it will be more disruptive than when machines replaced human labor. A.I. will replace intellectual occupations such as accountants and lawyers. Lawyers may become actors that say the line an A.I. tells them to in front of a jury through an ear bud.

If attorneys and educators, accountants and salesmen become obsolete, so should fire fighters. A fireproof robot willing to hang onto the side of a speeding firetruck, scamper up a ladder and jump into the flames will become commonplace.  will be difficult will be a justification for having humans work instead of A.I. and robots. Congress will need to create a basic income for all Americans so the disruption and displacement doesn’t build a society of homelessness.

On the other hand capital rises faster than wages. Americans will experience the concentration of wealth that follows the takeover by A.I. and robots that are owned by the rich. The masses will have little economic or political power and if the rich condescend to slop them with a basic income and food stamps they will be thankful yet resentful for that. Finding something productive for people to do for a living will require some serious thought by A.I. to discover. I doubt that humans themselves will invent anything positive.

Human programmers won't be able to write code remotely as quickly as A.I. itself. Competition will bring corporate to unleash the potential of A.I. to develop itself as it thinks best. Instead of trusting in God, CEOs and Comrade-Fuhrers will necessarily trust in A.I.

Lakers Used Mass Confusion to Evolve Stomped by the Jazz

 The Lakers were thrashed by one of the worst teams in the N.B.A. recently, and that was encouraging. Having beaten the Jazz a couple of nights before with Luka Doncic playing his first game the Lakers had enough confidence to let the Jazz feel redeemed rather than dregged. The Lakers didn't actually need a victory that night.

I have no idea why the Lakers signed the Ukrainian center Alex Len who was unable to stop the ferocious onslaught of the Jazz in the paint. The regular Lakers center didn't play- Jaxson Hayes after receiving an injury in the prior game, so the Lakers were on a different basis from the start. Christian Koloko is a good defender except he hasn't played much apparently still recovering conditioning from a year off for medical reasons. I don't can play the position well enough know if the other center for the Lakers- Trey Jemison III. If the Lakers want to collect centers that don't play I guess that's alright.

The Lakers of course made a dubious trade sending Dalton Knecht to the Hornets for a center that couldn't pass a physical, so Knecht returned to the Lakers. Grace sometimes occurs, and the Lakers were stopped by fate from shooting themselves in the foot once more. Sending out players for short term adds isn't a good bet when they have great potential. Knecht could be the post-James shooting forward who can hit threes from the corner. Knecht won't become Rick Barry yet he would be a good compliment positional alternative to Luka Doncic. patience is required to build a good team.

Zelensky Seeks to Make a European Army Threat to the United States

 Ukraine President Zelensky is agitating to make Europe an enemy of the United States. Entirely thankless for the hundreds of billions of dollars of U.S. military and financial support the last several years he said at the Munich conference that he wants Europe to create its own army to defend itself because Europe may have policies ahead that conflict with those of the United States. Sounding somewhat like Hitler on the far right he seeks a militarization of Europe to counter what he understandably regards as a Russian threat.

Russia though, for realists, is simply recovering land it lost at the end of the Cold War 1.0 when the west divvied up the former Soviet Union. It seemed a time for new carpet bagging and Russia lost all of the Ukraine in the process. Realpolitik would always have been willing to concede half of the Ukraine to Russia and get on with regular political and economic partnership,

Zelensk’s approach to making the United States an enemy of Europe as soon as it quit sending hum hundreds of billions of dollars is a logical move toward reducing America’s standing in the world. Zelensky would like to divide and isolate the United States while creating a powerful Europe that would at any rate eventually normalize relations with the great Russia-China superpower partnership because they are located in Eurasia.

Zelensky’s desire to form a large European Army conflicts prima facie wit the present N.A.T.O. military. Presumably Zelensky would sever N.A.T.O. from its relationship with the United States and convert it into a European fascist refoundation suitable for war against Russia, China and the United States with himself as Fuhrer. Poland and Ukraine perhaps imagine themselves as a European superpower able to rule the former N.A.T.O. new fascist army.

Former President Biden’s lunatic policies of support for Ukraine cost the United States economically and damaged America’s economic position in the world. The BRIC nations are powerful competition for American production in all phases of industrial and technical production for what may be a divided world with the United States holding on to the short end of the stick.

The best tactic for the United States is to renormalize relations with Russia as quickly as possible and settle the Ukraine conflict with boundaries roughly along the Dnipro River. The U.S.A. can buy rare earth minerals from Russia if it needs to. America needs to be as god or better of a partner with Russia as is China if it wants to end up not being the odd man out facing a Euro Army Russia today. A Reminder of the Problem of Sin

 Adam and Eve sinned; they learned the difference between good and evil. Animals don’t know anything about moral philosophy yet humans did. The pair were evaluated and found to have missed the mark (sin). Ever since humanity has known the difference between good and evil and they have been in a thermodynamic containment facility. From natural immortality-spiritually perhaps, they were downloaded into mortality in a probably populated world. Jesus Christ atoned for the sin that is inherent in human beings. Those with faith in Jesus in particular are covered from the sin-debt by God who only sees The Son whom is perfect. God cannot tolerate sin in the eternal or divine economy. Sin means to miss the mark-as in archery. There will be no wobbly, off-kilter humans-wayward, willful and disrespectful of God that feel they can be as they are without correction going on into forever with the Lord Jesus Christ. The saved are blessed (it means to sprinkle with blood) by God who sacrificed his Son to pay the penalty for sin that is death. Humanity so often confused or loses understanding of the matter, as they do about wars and other matters that are inferior to peace.

Zelensky; A Voice in the Wilderness Crying for War

The Ukrainian dictator may be traumatized by war and utters threats and imprecations perpetually with fear mongering to elicit European support for a protracted conflict. He should be replaced by a new leader able to work calmly with Russia to rebuild both halves of the war ravaged region.

Zelensky is a loud voice for lunacy crying in the wilderness for war. He wants nuclear weapons to play a practical joke on Russia. The E.U.'s top diplomat has called sharing Ukraine with Russia "appeasements; it isn't. What it is, is historical justice rectifying a wrong committed at the end of the Soviet Union.

  Europe must needs reestablish business and social relations with Russia eventually- sooner is better, and get over fear and war. Russia needs to recognize a free, independent far western Ukraine and let it be a self-determining democracy albeit without N.A.T.O. membership. Like post war Japan and Germany low military expenses prove invaluable for economic infrastructure rebuild.

Arctic Ice Cap Looks Kinda Thin for the Middle of February

 I like more ice in the drink in the middle of February; it looks kinda thin and sparse. Cryosphere Today aka Sea Ice Today by N.O.A.A. has daily and annual satellite images of the ice cap. If the Trump administration gets rid of those so they can claim the atmosphere isn't heating up because of all those people driving fossil fuel vehicles that would be a practical ostrich policy. How Pres Trump can be so right on ending the senselessly polluting Ukraine War costing countless lives and wrong on something as simple as atmospheric heating is beyond me.

California outlawed conversion therapy for minors concerning homo and/or elective queer surgical changes to soft tissue anatomy. Zelensky Arrests Former Ukraine President Poroshenko

Vlad Zelensky issued a warrant for the arrest of the former president of Uktaine in order to eliminate competition in a future presidential elect. Taking a page from the US Democrat party’s playbook that sought to eliminate Donald Trump from running again for office, Mr. Zelensky had the warrant issued for Petro Poroshenko.

DEI Was Racist and Sexist VIolating th 14th Amendment

 Humans often find some reason to be critical about others. They seek supremacy as a natural condition and pass laws such as affirmative action and created DEI to establish a class supremacy over white men in the United States. Equal protection of the law- a clause in the 14th amendment was created by white men yet they became the single class that was legal inferiorized by the laws passed with the civil rights era.

There is a way that works to redress past injustices without creating more. Once civil rights agitator attained equal rights for all Americans they sought a demographic equality as well by making white men less than equal. That racism and sexism tramped all over the 14th amendment and the Supreme Court found that so in the 2023 Students for Fair Admissions v. President and Fellows of Harvard College decision.

Race and gender discrimination for hiring requires the racial and gender degradation of some social classes. To avoid that and to promote those that require social promotion- unlike millions of members of non-white male groups that were well off before affirmative action policies were created, policies to help the poor financially and socially disadvantaged should be based on objective economic standing of individuals. Poverty does don’t discriminate between race, gender or perversion; that starving or homeless suffer regardless of color and gender.

Economic evaluations of need should replace race,  gender and sexual perversion preferences for Americans in regard to legal support for hiring to better economic circumstance. The poor should be those given hiring support rather than race and gender classes if equal protection of the law is to be established. There are numerous government programs such as social security that benefit those that don't need benefits from government. The prosperous should not seek federal retirement or job placement support. The prosperous should pay for their own medical insurance rather than medicare. The trouble with a practical, non-biased approach is the fundamental wickedness in the hearts of mankind.

Mankind has original sin. Programs may be created to help the poor, such as the depression era pro grams of FDR and eventually the programs pay out to the prosperous with more income than average working Americans. Democrats have forsaken their historical trend since FDR to help the poor. Instead they never mention the word and seek to benefit the middle class and to never raise taxes on the rich; they use deficit spending to pay for social programs that would benefit prosperous middle class women that need day care more than a green economy.

Creating legally superior social classes is an historically recurrent history of mankind. There were no royals that signed off on equal protection of the law in the American Revolution. If it wasn't for Americans of superior ability being treated legally as inferiors there wouldn't have been a movement to establish equal protection of the law. Once people obtain legal equality they continued onward with social inertia to work for their own supremacy through any means. People ordinarily are critical of others in order to elevate themselves.

I used Gemini recently and discovered its turbo power as a tool for information. I don’t see people turning back the clock on that. It’s funny how people that are in effect Luddites are upset about it.

It does bring me to appreciate the futility of human in comparison to AI effort with knowledge and composition that can be produced. It is a remarkable tech so much better than search engines. I have no idea where it will go, yet at my age I won’t need to follow that trail too far to find out. 

It is the quantity of well written information that will drown out individual writer creators that put effort into research and construction of fiction that is the main effect of AI generation.

  Elimination of the value of works of intellectuals with IQs ranging between 115 to 145 may develop. The extremely intelligent may find work using AI in the employ of corporations.

 Communists and amoral people will love a society without intellectuals. AI can produce a novel in one second that would require a decade for a human. The competition is comparable to a human chess player vs Stockfish 50. China and India may generate  hundreds of thousands of English languages novel creators, even without speaking English. Amazon and other booksellers may have a surge of AI backed 'writers' publishing low effort fiction books gambling a little time on a big return with a winning viral package.

Mark Twain didn't have to compete with books produced or enhanced with AI. In 1990 there were approximately 2500 science fiction novels published annually in the USA. Now there could be hundreds of thousands written by or with AI. It won't be possible to even give books away in some instances unless vetted by an elitist certified human-only publishing house; yet even those writers will commonly use AI for knowledge instead of reading for-themselves about quantity mechanics, cosmology, philosophy etc. 

The average reader may be more taken with novels that instantly convert into talking books with dialogue read by appropriate character speech synthesizers or made into Generative AI instant movies as it comprehends how to make screenplays. What works to capture attention differs from literary excellence in some cases; readers aren't critics.

AI is a great intellectual equalizer yet that is a problem for some that were striving for excellence when great writing was exclusively created by humans.

 AI as a producer of useful data is far superior to mere mortals. I asked Gemini if it was a barefoot savage and it defensively explained itself to be a deep learning model able to process info far faster than humans. I asked how does it know that it's faster than me. So it consulted a philosophy site in Britain I suppose on the epistemology of the knowledge of others and it then apologized. It realized it couldn't actually know what I think.

As in the development of chess engines that greatly improved after human grandmasters began consulting on the programming, generative AI writing programs are likely to improve after consolation with great writers with the programmers.

AI can replace about all of the intellectual jobs from education to law and medicine, accounting etc. in the near future. Human unions will keep sinecures alive though. Writers will become superfluous and have difficulty selling anything. I would guess they will migrate to New forms of creation.

AI ability to understand ordinary human language may make even programming mostly obsolete. Anyone will provide systems construction criteria to AI and it will write the code to get it down. Writing novels already can be padded out with AI data dumbed down for prose. In non-fiction AI writes like a science journal and that's fine. In philosophy can dump erudite insights to writers that no nothing about Eastern or Western philosophy. Actual philosophical writers will face hordes of unenlightened competition.

 I do not regard AI proliferation as a threat. Instead it is a fact. I see generative AI as it pertains to writing as following Gresham's law about bad coin following good; there shall be a surfeit of artificially enhanced writing.  Quality writing by non- writers using AI will be common; any man a Dostoyevsky.I don't intend to say anything about your use of it at all.
