Kinetic and Non-Kinetic War

The Obama administration rightly described the Libyan intervention as a kinetic military action. The art of kinetic war has been with us for millennia. Slingers of spears in Rome and North America followed up spears that were developed as early as 195,000 b.c. in the Kenyan rift valley. Eventually electro-magnetic rail guns for S.D.I. inspired electro-magnetic guns for naval vessels as well as pistols and rifles. Maybe they will bring a puff the magic drive return of gunships with e.m.g. drives pushing out metal toward specific ground targets.

Kinetic weapons are something of an improvement over explosive weapons. All things considered, unlike the continuing use of explosive propellants for space-flight launches, the e.m.g. kinetic rail gun technology has not yet been put to work for very heavy lifts to space.

In modern conflicts asymmetric wars are common. The rich may try to kick the ass of the poor, or the innocent poor may have no choice besides trying to kick the ass of the rich when the rich decide to colonize them with extreme prejudice. The myriad matrix logical possibilities of asymmetric conflict may be challenging to chart yet sometimes the rich may even attempt to buy the poor into submission. Kinetic weapons of bullets may be used rather than financial instruments of economic damage or quantum propaganda field suppression as on the non-kinetic side of the force.

Kinetic weapons of war may be less costly than explosive weapons good just once. Non-kinetic weapons that are purely electronic, particle beams and such may be even less costly and easier to reload; they require more electricity to recharge batteries, more hydrogen to recharge a fuel cell and so forth. Non-kinetic weapons are a new wave of the future for modern military that deliver speed of light devastation to targets at specified grid coordinates.

The U.S. military is developing airborne and drone aircraft microwave beam technology capable of knocking out opposition force air defense installations and one might guess valuable point targets. In the modern evolution of computer and electronic technology the corporate civilian/military application of knowledge flows in each direction and cycles again.

Obviously weapons systems that require recharging instead of production of million dollar each cruise missiles (a hybrid kinetic-explosive technology) are a better buy in the era of U.S. federal deficits. One must hope that one’s new weapons system is not the equivalent of a Commodore 64 to an enemy with higher technical sophistication.

It’s a paradox that with global population destroying the ecosphere, with a porous Mexican border defense not capable of arresting the flow of illegal aliens into the U.S.A. humanity becomes so excellent at creating weapons of war. With a small world today it is a little bit like the people at the other end of the building developing weapons to kill those at another end and vice versa ad nauseum…there must be a better way of freeing humans from oppression and danger.

Non-kinetic war will combine the full spectrum of electronic surveillance, intelligence and counter-intelligence of course. Ever bit of data on the Internet, every meter of the world observed by remote monitoring systems feeding data into live artificial intelligence analysis loops will support command decisions to pull the electronic plug on civilian or military targets, send power beam surges to terminate resistance or possibly shut off the electric circuits in human brains temporarily or permanently.

Ongoing international alliances in the non-kinetic phase of defense and global corporatism bring tighter networking of the non-kinetic way of war through perpetual upgrades. The umbrella of non-kinetic war demographics brings more nations into the complex canopy of advanced research and development of war contemporary Military technology. If the Congress were half as concerned about fully employing U.S. citizens and restoring the ecosphere locally the American way of life would be much better. As it is the military industrial complex is more concerned about concentrating wealth in construction of a new world order with the U.S. poor and lack of full employment or compensation through minimum income being the collateral economic damage.

On the ‘Necessity’ of Throwing U.S. Budget Gutter Balls

As a candidate Barack Obama famously bowled a gutter ball filled score of 37. He bowled a score of zero as President failing to veto the Bush era tax cuts renewal last December. He set a new standard for Democratic mediocrity that F.D. Roosevelt and maybe even Bill Clinton would have regarded as unacceptable. Mediocrity in budgeting is no new thing for America today.

Are names not something of inflexible descriptions of unique events or unique sets of attributes of events-even the name ‘America’? What is America? Is it a particular historical concept, a geographical locality, or some sort of variable political identifier denoting sovereignty and a host of other qualities? A name may be a meaning rather than an address. What is meant by ‘America’ may change in time to anything at all, from good to bad.

We might prefer to regard Latinos as a hybrid race better named for Amerigo Vespucci than a minor Roman district named Latia, yet Americans too are what we called citizens of the United States of America because of the awkwardness of calling them Unionists.

American unions have certainly been in decline along with the real income of white men in the U.S.A. since 1971. The U.S. broadcast media has become a servo-unit of global corporatism along with both major political parties of the nation since the end of the cold war. The U.S.A. has a progressive national public debt set to reach 20 trillion dollars by the end of a second possible Obama administration. Public education standards are in comparative decline along with the U.S. standard of living in comparison to the gross national product increases of the second world. One may wonder why, and also wonder if a necessary mediocrity has overtaken the U.S.A. and destined it to a mediocre future not as a leading nation but as an also ran amongst nations trying to lead.

What made the United States a great economic power many have asked? A heritage of a vast under populated continent full of natural resources and an immigrant people of Europe able to exploit the best scientific and technical ideas of Europe and world history in a rich natural frontier with the absence of an hereditary ruling class. The absence of any kind of oppressive social organizations and the low national population density permitted uninhibited intellectual freedom to invent, apply, innovate and adapt ideas to real production. Freedom fro government or private organizations of a ubiquitous or oppressive presence and intellectual and physical room for growth let the brilliance of man and women create such works as they were able to conceive. The intellectual and physical liberty was the necessary condition for economic excellence.

With the nation full with more than 300 million people and immigrants of an illegal rather than a legal nature predominantly, and with the number of inventors comparatively in decline along with the U.S.A. as a destination far removed from oppressive social organizations the United States seems to be moving into a protracted era of mediocrity even though commercial space ventures are increasing.

Wall Street is about global investment and owners more so than national. The prosperous find the silly little borders nothing in technical considerations beyond those of taxation. Telecommunications have eliminated planetary distance and the nation itself is regarded as just one place amidst a world of locations in which corporate and government partners might invest. If nearly 20% of Americans can’t find enough work to sustain a fair living, well, that’s helpful for controlling labor costs.

The United States has become saturated in social networking simultaneously with pervasive business networking. Data acquisition and processing records volumes on the life of every individual American, and ‘liberal’ race, gender and sexual perversion classes have transitioned to leadership of political power as the counterfactual interpretation of corporate led economics. Americans seem determined to make the nation just one mediocre, average society amidst a new world order of Wal-Marts, asphalt streets, cell phones and financial related services. The idea of reconstructing the United States economically into a new low entropy, full employment, self-reliant leading example to the rest of the world of a free society with a stable population reasonably able to venture into space development while restoring the health of the ecosphere is a political goal of virtually no one. Excellence for the United States as a nation seems to fail to reach the public video attention. The nation must descend into protracted mediocrity to expand into a global economy before fading away.

Adam Smith; the brilliant 18the century economist, described a method whereby individual entrepreneurs were better benefiting themselves and society without the oppression of a powerful social organization. In his day that organization was the state. In today’s business environment and pervasive, even totalitalized geographic saturation oppressive organizations are not limited to government, but exist in the concatenated Wall Street extended corporate network as well. Individual Americans experience the corporate/market political way ubiquitous from ATM machines to rft strips between sheets of book binding.

Americans develop class consciousness as youth, elderly, white, black, straight, homosexual, Christian, pagan, middle class, Democrat, republican, Latino far more so than as individuals. Existential and borderless principles of class leveling mediocrity over individual efforts and excellence prevail in the marketplace, consumerism, in ‘reality’ T.V. and budget negotiations in Congress. An economic philosophy of market personal egoism in mass portionality transcended real geographic and/or intellectual individualism.

For the ascent of class consumer values and for its justification the inertia of global mass consumerism and corporate ‘market’ economics has developed velocity. The coefficient of mass consumerism and the logic of hedonistic mediocrity are challenging to overcome with interpolations of individual pursuit of excellence. Perhaps the logic of brilliant individual minds pursuing the good for the nation can emerge like a light in the darkness now and then, yet the occasional illumination may not be enough for the people of the United States to emerge from the night of the underworld that may lie ahead.

About Philosophical Quests for 'Ultimate' Reality

Ultimate as a modifier on the term 'reality' may be a special use within a linguistic ontology, even so there are several potential meanings of the term.

I won't try to list many of the potential meanings of ultimate or reality here, such as a reality that is eternal and unchanging, or a reality that occurs at the conclusion of the Universe of space-time, a reality at the singularity of black holes where time has stopped and space extends forever. Reality as a perceptible object of human experience and cogitation may be regarded as ultimate if one has wrapped one's mind around all of its dimensions perhaps, yet for Christians such as myself who find the ultimate reality to be a finding of fact and conclusion of purpose of God regarding contingent or temporal reality, ultimate reality is unavoidable and the supreme good.

In reading over a book on loop quantum gravity recently, the sectarian camp of astrophysical irredentist non-string theorist philosophers of the physical universe point of view emerged once again. I believe it is useful to consider points of view of ultimate physical theory such as Hartle-Hawking, Wheelerianism and Venenziano right along with epistemological approaches such as Sartre's that may for-itself be given to support even esoteric science based or even religious viewpoints such as the universe as a hologram or Berkley's ideaism. Even a universe as string phenomenality created by Intelligent design of a super-computational people, or a metaverse set of immediate appearance founded on some sort of monadology by God can be useful if not necessary ideas to consider along the road to understanding how the experience of life is supported by the given.

There may be two approaches to ultimate reality expeditions; one with a possibility of intelligent design of the experience of human beings on Earth in the Universe, and of course the alternate that the universe had no element of a designer in it. Each approach may pursue simultaneous, concurrent objectives areas of inquiry not uncommonly.

Can the elements of a set of self-aware beings infer the content of the metaset in which they are included? Perhaps not. The answers to questions of set structure and content provided by extrapolation from observable or experienced phenomena may be useful even so. Sometimes it is not a good idea to prejudge the values of solutions for an unknown or difficult to solve equation or challenge to understanding.

Congress Seeks Ways to Trim the Nation's Poor/Profit from Investing Overseas

When an article in Time reported that 25% of M.I.T. graduates are moving to work in Wall Street's financial sector-that is, the best and brightest including those from Harvard are moving toward the gaming and scamming portion of the U.S. economy instead of building new businesses, it wasn't too surprising, corporatism and globalism have taken over the U.S. economy and outsourced it leadership to that of globalists.

So the other salient fact mentioned, that the five developing economies of India, China, Russia and Brazil will pass the gross national product of the G7 countries within seven years should help to understand why the Wall Street corporate and government leadership have treated U.S. national interests as secondary, or something of a slum in the general scheme of things; the nation can supply military forces to war for foreign resource extraction business interests of more concern to global corporations than American, and consider how to cut programs for the nation's poor while adding debt to the taxpayer future.

President Obama seemed rather spineless in his cheering for extended corporate tax cuts last December; the national budget could have been balanced in two years if he had let them expired-and he absolutely had that power. Now the congress is haggling about cutting medical programs for the poor, and of course Congress lacked the integrity to just create a free medical service for the poor and veterans combining and improving services.

The U.S. military soaks up 3/4 of a billion annually, and the interest on the national debt another 3/4 trillion dollars. Military personnel are paid at very high levels for public servants-too high, and the military retirement system ought to be eliminated and military retirees merged into the civilian social security system at the same rates in order that they too have something to defend and care about being funded.

A military that engages in protracted low-intensity conflict supporting a plethora of corporate military suppliers creates a need to continue expanding wars in order that the Defense Department funding may not be cut. Convenient foreign mullahs protesting U.S. burning of Korans a year later create demands for Congress to submit to the Moslem demands and condemn free expression in the U.S.A. Globalism pressures the U.S.A. increasingly to conform to its will. Some might feel like napalming such demands, and then conform to simple defense of individual liberty even in a market era of pervasive social corruption of national political rights.

One wonders if the Department of Defense has any ability to restrain its deployment whenever corporate and flag officers decide it tempting to start a new conflict such as in Libya instead of finding a way to remove failed rebel protestors peacefully. Could it be possible to reduce Defense spending by half within a year or two through conventional weapons and force reductions with most of the world major powers and soon to be major powers?

The Republican-Tea Party attack on health services to the poor is typical of a corrupt, declining power outsourcing its liberty. The poor should be the last undermine, yet it requires moral leadership to be aware of that fact. Everyone knows that if a Senator or Congressman seeking to undermine Medicaid and Medicare had no medical services him or herself he or she would happily take whatever free medical services are available should they have cancer or a compound fracture on a city street. Realism is not a concern of the federal supply side class of politicians transitioning financial bunk into a faith based distraction from religious integrity as well as financial common sense.

The United States requires a reinforcement of its traditional values of strong national defense, border security and liberation of Mexico from reliance on remittances and drug sales to the U.S.A. that inevitably corrupt the economic pragmatism of each nation. Creating a zero flow of illegal aliens into the United States is requisite for a balanced federal budget and the practical conservation of reasoned financial planning.

It is true that during the middle ages of world history religion was corrupted too far by takeover from simultaneous worldly-political actors driving it to support their own goals. That evolution was a natural consequence of the missiological need to convert a pagan nation's leadership first. The new convert king or queen would then place themselves at the head of the church and find any sort of dissent to be politically threatening. That situation did not work itself out until after the reformation and the 30 years religious wars.

In the U.S.A. the church has failed to transition into being a priesthood of believers and thus often follows the hierarchical, corporate-military industrial complex trail of economic evolution through its permutations at home and abroad. Plainly a priesthood of believers ecclesiastical structure regarding all church members as necessary peers would better draw economic attention to the United States and citizenship instead of corporate, global policy. With the hegemony of the corporate owned broadcast media the upgrading of the United States to a correct contemporary Christian church expression is challenging.

The United States could readily solve its economic difficulties, yet the national leadership is more concerned about abstract global skimming than making the nation the best it can be. There isn't much cause for optimism in the future with the way things are, and federal debt is increasing while the foundation of low-entropy economics hasn't much hope of getting started.

the mass continuing to release a gravitational field of proportion
upon space beyond the cover
gravitons escape the gravitational field easily tugging space-time into a curve approaching infinity beyond the cover at the singularity

Or, alternatively, the cover and its shaped space-time curve is a residual, an artifact of the mass that has infinitely shrunk unto oblivion

Though we think kindly of mass-energy reduced to lowest possible size-such that it has no area at all
it is difficult to forget that even gravity is a kind of energy pulling mass toward its own ends

One day discoverers of scientific puzzles may find
the way to release the entrapped mass-energy of time
time that is halted in its own wrapped space
time that has stopped reducing space to one place
that most steep slope converting mass to just one’s
the unapproachable gravitational field where motion and pressure have just begun
direct lines to the concentrate smallest state of matter
may be unraveled and sent to the black hole centrals
releasing mass through the gravitational-space-time wrapped field
as a new form of energy to power SUV wheels.

A Good Statesman Could Reduce World Military Expenditures

The United States now spends more than 3/4s of a trillion dollars on military activities annually-without even factoring in the cost of retirement or VA medical treatment. President Dwight Eisenhower worked on his military-industrial complex speech more than 18 months before giving it in his farewell adress to the nation a few days before leaving office. President Kennedy should have heeded that message before visiting Dallas.

A good statesman could reduce U.S. military expenses by at least 50% simultaneously with other nations of the world. Global security could be enhanced by securing borders of all nations against illegal human traffic including illegal aliens, arms smugglers, terrorists, slavers, pimps and so forth. International and national security should coincide in reducing conventional military procedures toward concentrating on border security for all nations instead of conventional wars of invasive or civil natures.

Use Military to Soak Up Excess Vacant Homes in U.S.A./Field Grade Officer Retirement Bonus Instead of Payments

High tech igloo shaped homes that produce most of their own energy requirements might be the way to go. Homes with low maintenance costs-one time roofing and exterior coating, survivable in tornados and hurricanes, coated with solar photon collecting materials could reduce the waste of materials, electrical production at a distance and human labor.
Present homes with debt problems and uncertain corporate ownership might perhaps be presented to U.S. soldiers as prizes of federal incompetent economic management. Soldiers could receive special discounted loans on vacant homes at 50% of their prior market value, and the government would guarantee the loans.

The military could also save federal dollars if officers of field grade were given a severance bonus of cash and a free home with no ongoing retirement payments. If they want federal money for life, they could apply for social security if they financially qualify. It seems unreasonable that federal military officers that enlisted at age 18 should be on the federal payroll for 50 years or more in the modern era of low numbers of field grade officer deaths on the battlefield or in sea combat.

ESA Planck Mission's Early Findings

The European Space Agency's Plank mission to map the cosmic microwave background radiation follows up on the NASA WMAP mission of yore. Early returns of data analysis were presented in January 2011, and the web site has some video, photographs and other data.

More detailed mapping of the earliest imagery presently available of the physical state of affairs of the Universe in its first 350,000 years of existence is helpful for the formation of cosmological theories of how it all works (the Universe or Metaverse), where it was and where its going to.

Actually, present cosmological theories have tended to grow with the observational data at large and small scale, and sometimes in comparison to the inspired word of God (the Bible). Cosmological theories may always change with the expanding infinite horizons of logic, knowledge, time and space.

About the Earth's Geoid

Scientific American posted an article on the shape of the Earth determined by a satellite regarding it from a particular way the last two years.

The European Space Agency put up the GOEC satellite and it can observe the geoid. The scientific American article referenced above explains what the geoid criterion is-I won't try that myself.

The video S.A. posted is found on youtube. So are many other videos loosely derived from the geoid. Many of the videos are Quranicly inspired. The shape of the world without the oceans probably is a little irregularly, and with the oceans it's gravitational field might be somewhat different too. I have no idea if the Quran predicted the potatoe-shape qualities of the Earth, yet if it has thats a really amazing find, I guess. There are lots of videos proclaiming the truth about the essential spud.

Nuclear Power Plants Should Have a Fail-Safe Design

Nuclear power plants minus operators because of some future biological war accident could send plumes of radiation around the global like a few thousand Chernobyls blooming. If the deadly electrical power through atomic fission plant construction continues they should at least be designed with a fail safe capability such that after a certain time a mountain of dirt would slide down and bury a malfunctioning power plant.

Nuclear power plants should not be constructed any more near waterways leading to the ocean where they can infuse radioactive materials into the world’s waterways for centuries potentially, after the unforeseeable world demographic disaster.

Why the Market Doesn’t Generate Rational Ecospheric Political Governing

It is challenging in the post cold-war political economy to write critically and objectively about the pitfalls of capitalism without being immediately suspected of holding the opposite view, possibly the only alternative political opinion, of socialism or communism. Well, I am not writing in advocacy of either of those quasi-authoritarian political philosophies here. Instead I am writing a few comments in support of an updated free enterprise and democratic nationalism within a low entropy, high quality economic future.

It is also challenging to write for secure borders with no or very low legal or illegal immigration without being suspected of racism or elitism. Yet without stable population and citizenship the average citizen of any nation has few real economic or political opportunities to constructively interact to improve his or her political standing. Market force philosophies today denigrate class political interests while simultaneously exploiting class analysis for marketing product most efficiently. Individuals are reinforced in disregarding political interests in preference for pure market business as politics for-itself. Individual affects on finite natural resources do have consequences of concatenation. Each individual pursuing the satisfaction of their own interest may want a non-renewable resource product, and that product utility concatenated may eliminate the product even if its price increases to discourage its purchase. Ignoring the reduction in quality of the environment or the decrease of wilderness land will not stop the trends; they go on as long as over-reliance on an anthropomorphic faith in free market natural selection diminishes intellectual competence in national politics.

The free market criterion of Adam Smith was a pre-ecospheric economic structure. Adam Smith’ 1776 book ‘The Wealth of Nations’ for economic theory might be an equivalent of Newton’s theory of gravity. Newton’s theory, brilliant as it was, had to be replaced by Einstein’s General theory of relativity to explain larger spaces and time. Even G.P.S. satellites need to take into account the effects of time dilation. The fundamental ecospheric parameters of Smith’s concept of capital in relation to the world ecosphere are far more obsolete in comparison.

World ecological health was not a concern of the English of 1776, and free market pursuit occurred as a dialectical opposite to constriction of imperial governance and its central planning. The pursuit of individual self-interest in economics is not a formula for governance of the whole society.

Smith’s capital prescription is a formula for the acquisition of economic power through production and sale of goods and services that satisfy economic demands. Historically capitalism tends toward monopoly and remedies to monopoly have been written into law.

As capitalism becomes very large and socially networked, as capitalism becomes institutionalized and usurps social organization, morality and government, it also becomes increasingly irrational about the state of the world ecosphere. Without a rectification of capitalism to modern circumstance, nationalism, civil rights, individual free enterprise, inventiveness and the health of the ecosphere will be increasingly under assault.

Global corporate markets in pursuit of capital gains willingly increase scarcity in order to increase the value of commodities. In the United States market oriented urban planners permit development sprawl to bury farmland helping to drive up food prices. Global corporations buy up vast tracts of rural farmland also decreasing food quality simultaneously with increasing costs and profit. The logic of markets that become networked and corporate dominated is to increasingly drive up consumer costs while decreasing consumer capital. Government debt is another way to enslave the U.S. public and increase the concentration of wealth.

A modern economy may be evaluated through its energy base. Quantity, quality, type, use, safety, renewability, cost; energy facts are what determine the state of an economy in large part. The United States has a radically inefficient use of energy today, while simultaneously allowing its nation to be flooded with illegal aliens taking jobs and making finite economic and energy control impossible.

Irrational market ideas are often used to justify racism as an excuse for allowing illegal immigration; that is, because most prior immigration to America before 1930 was white or black (involuntary in the latter case), allowing non-white immigration beyond rational population limits is justified because the immigrants are brown. A further irrational market concept is that the immigrants are good workers (better than Americans) and provide cheap labor of advantage to those willing to pay less for workers.

With a zero population growth rate amongst white Americans, and with white Americans still a majority, it makes little social or economic reason to allow illegal aliens from Mexico with a high birth rate to thwart ecological conservation efforts, efforts to modernize the economy, efforts to transition to a new energy and transport foundation and keep the U.S. stable at its present population level.

A fair economic policy today manages human resources not on a racial basis, but on an abstract foundation of human equality. An empirically irrational market political operating system denies citizens the basic rights of self-determination in a stable and secure political and geographical environment. Citizens have rights in their own nation greater than non-citizens. Annual earning opportunities and income for individual citizens is a fundamental test of social equality in a market economy. The poor are discriminated against-not races, gender or perverted sexual behavior. Corrections to individual poverty in relation to average social earnings requisite for a just government with realistic democracy. The distance in wealth between the most rich and the most poor cannot be light years, or billions of dollars within any one nation, if freedom is to exist for all. It is not necessary to have compulsory equal economic compensation for all citizens, yet the range between the richest and poor must be reduced to necessary social limits.

Irrational immigration policy in pursuit of an irrational market based economy without correction seeking growth in consumption, depletion of natural resources and real geophysical liberty should generate increasing waves of economic disruption I production as well as political conflicts.

Market forces based upon scarcity, banking the opposite, control of markets through monopoly (an implicitly anti-free market factor) will work toward the elimination of natural resource availability and supply, the commoditization and intentional supply reduction of ecospheric health simple in pursuit of short term profits and transition of capital gains into political power of monopoly. The logic of market forces applied to the finite ecospheric area of the Earth is irrational. The anthropomorphization of Adam Smith’s invisible hand of market forces into a benevolent ecospheric wizard of Wall Street was an abandonment of reasoned political philosophy taken on in the finite ascent of market production and optimism drawn from the frontier properties of America. A healthy economy requires good governance responsive to the needs for conservation of the ecosphere, the liberty of the people, and the desire for independence from poverty, class oppression and the tyranny of organizations of any kind; private or public. The U.S. government is failing miserably at leading the nation into a sustainable society based on national self-reliance with liberty and justice for all Americans. It has allowed the delusions of a benevolent, anthropomorphic free market ideology to promote global corporate takeover of the national economy, reduction of the ecosphere nationally, failure to create a new, highly efficient energy use infrastructure, corrupted its farmlands, used food crops for making gasohol for fossil fuel powered vehicles, permitted a porous Mexican border and promiscuous immigration policies to continue over-production of cheap labor supply, failed to be a good economic role model for the developing world and endangered the nation with trillions and trillions of dollars of public debt.

NPR’s half billion dollars should be cut from the Federal budget. In the post cold war world it is an anachronistic globalist agitator subverting American enterprise and independence.

Today there was an interview from Libya with a ‘PhD candidate in communications’ training in plastic explosives, rockets, mortars and sundry materials useful for war and terrorism. If he can overthrow Khadafy and return to Washington State University to complete his program he may be able to be some sort of official in the new regime or perhaps remain in Washington as a Moslem community organizer helping get mosque construction under way on the Palouse.

NPR may have organizational functions for the export and import of odd political forces harmful to the conservation of U.S. national security and ecological economic progress, and it may be a tool of the Chinese policy to ‘defeat the United States with low technology’ mentioned by the insightful Red Army General of China a while ago. America in the era of NPR has promoted illegal alien hegemony in the U.S.A. through its concept of ‘fair and balanced’ reporting, it is an agency of socialization for anything un-American (it had a Swedish author on today as well—what’s wrong with Alaskan authors), the nation has built of vast public debt, the military has transitioned into moral decay and serves as a missiological agent for global homosexual depravity.

Libyan Deminstrators Inducted into Rebellion-A Reasoned Transition?

Morphing a non-violent, non-military street protest movement into a violent rebel army must take some time. It seems unreasonable to believe that all people believed the Libyan government of Moamar Khadafy would just throw in the towel and flee off-world for refuge.

Khadafy might have no planetary refuge if he ran, and inevitably world banks would seize his foreign accounts and the broke former dictator would be summoned before some court. These sorts of things are well-known historical characteristics of modern time.

So the peaceful protestors are expected to form a rebel army and begin a long, bloody war against the Libyan government forces. At least former Presidential candidate Wesley Clarke has patience as he mentioned on CNN that even if it takes a year to get Khadafy out, that's o.k. President Obama says the 'noose is drawing tighter' around Khadafy, so we can discern that neutrality is not an option for the administration.

The residue of political fact is that the United States seems committed to some sort of a new war with covert and overt military support for an ill-prepared insurgency in Libya. I am all for democracy, free enterprise and freedom from government radio intimidation, bullets, economic destruction and so forth. Yet I believe that the President should have gone to the congress before starting a war that make take a year or more to wrap up with the dictator's head brought to the President of the United States in a basket. It costs a lot of money if nothing else.

The United States fails to lead in sufficient radical energy change to comprise leadership. Like Winston Churchill who changed the entire British navy to run on oil instead of coal 'just like that', so must the United States give up oil-gasoline for cars instantly and finally like an alcoholic kicking the booze. Entire, nation-wide mass transit and personal transit new technologies must be constructed-and not just choo-choo and corn gasohol repackaging of the 2oth century. Instead, the President invests in the same old solutions to intractable foreign political friction without using new methods of problem solving. Theories vs. Observable Facts of the Metaverse/Universe

This is a comment about contemporary cosmological topics. I enjoy reading cosmology books by physicists or astronomers occasionally-popular books written for the general public. Over time one gets unanswered ideas. As in language use or about any other kind of learning, synthetic recombination of concepts is a normal experience.

So a few of the most basic concepts of cosmology such as the big bang, the nature of space, gravity and so forth can present some new ideas unanswered by the information in the cosmology publications that one remembers. Following are a few basic questions about the big bang legend that were investigated a long time ago I am sure, yet I can’t recollect reading the answers recently…

Space-time theories such as loop quantum cosmology, string theory and membrane theory tend to draw upon Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity and its equations to construct mathematical models of the history of the Universe backwards in a reduction in size and increase of mass density and energy to a singularity.

The General Theory, I believe, allows an infinite amount of mass and energy to form at the singularity that equations indicate are the precursor of the big bang and inflation of the Universe, yet obviously an infinite amount of energy or mass at any point in the history of the Universe is inconsistent with just a finite amount of energy in the Universe as its sum at any time.

Philosophically I am brought to wonder if physicists have calculated the values for the total quantity of mass-energy in the Universe today based on a 13.7 billion year old start time, and determined how much force all of that mass-energy would have if compacted to a point of any given area-even a very small singular condition. What kind of speed of expansion would it provide if given to expand at that instant long ago?

Reading a book about the research area of loop quantum gravity I realized that the physical theorists make cosmological models at the big bang that are something of yo-yo like recurrent mirror images of the theory of expansion of the Universe on this side (pervasively based on Einstein’s general theory criteria). One actually has no valid reason to assume that the laws of physics on this side of the alleged expansion/inflation are the same as those on the other side with reversed positive or negative signs.

I have read of string theory cosmological explanations of field instability and quantum fluctuations that might have generated a Higgs field to expand, compacted space-atom lattices that would repel themselves given near singularity conditions, and the formation of a white hole and near singularity from a perturbative vacuum, yet I do not recollect reading about the values that a finite singularity with only so much energy and mass to start would have. How large of a Universe of mass and energy could be made consistent with the known speed of expansion and other observable facts of the material of the Universe? What would the size and velocity of the initial explosion need to be in order to be consistent with observations?

There are several ‘fudge factors’ today in cosmology to make theoretical, mathematical criteria work. A cosmological constant, an inflation faster than light, dark energy and dark matter-even anti-matter perhaps, might be considered as fudge factors.

The facts of observations of the Universe are quite excellent today; are there good ‘common sense’ calculations about what size of a singularity the general theory would need to stop at in order to be consistent with the calculated amount of mass-energy of the Universe? Would such comparative calculations help if applied to formulating theories about the mechanics of black holes?

Sure, I realize that it’s said that the Universe did not start from an ordinary a-bomb like explosion. Expansions provide sophisticated parameters with inflation, membranes, quantum instability and etc. Yet if it is regarded as a detonation (perhaps in some kind of a containment medium- (a shaped space field?)) of a finite amount of mass-energy, what kind of values can physicists get, and would they fit the facts of the observable Universe at all?

If there was an infinite amount of mass and energy at a singularity and it exploded, expanded or was repelled then we would never see the end of its expansion I would think, and its power values might be inferred from the observed facts of the mass-energy of the Universe. Instead of treating the infinities of General Relativity as incompleteness or errors, can’t they be regarded as temporal terminus vectors like the summit of mountains? Such places are good places to expand from along the slope of gravity to a broader base.

Promote Change; Get Rid of College Sports

College sports today detract from the necessary academic supremacy of mind over matter on campus. Time and money that go into college sports are used to create a value system of brawn over brains the nation is dumb enough already.

In serving as the minor leagues for pro sports, Americans of athletic skill but lesser academic abilities are left out of the play for pay ladder. Conversely, colleges award degrees to athletes that have no use for the sheepskin except as a prestige item, the club membership presenting an opportunity to provide the wrong role models for a nation in need of intellectual vigor to rectify the environment for long range human survival and biodiversity and space colonization.

Colleges should lose their football, basketball and baseball programs and allow the market to field semi-pro teams to serve as for-pay minor leagues for the pro sports franchises. College sports programs create a socialist training academy for sports that is harmful to honest individual citizens and the true self-employment work ethic in the U.S.A.

Specially gifted college students with outstanding intellectual skills, work ethic and athletic ability could attend classes and then play at sports on a semi-pro team for cash. A vast number of private sector semi-pro sports teams and private sector sports training schools might arise to prepare athletes for athletic careers independently of the academic route thus freeing up classrooms programs for intellectuals.

If baseball players had to go through college to become pro players as they virtually must n football and basketball, it is unlikely that Pete Rose would have made the major leagues, as all he skipped school all he could to practice baseball.

President Obama Defends Libyan Faith Based Revolution

The recent Libyan revolution began without more than a prayer that either Moamar Khadafy would flee at first street protest or President Obama would eventually blast Khadafy’s military to smithereens with cruise missile, bombers and etc. In a speech delivered about ten days after the main phase of the air war started providing close air support to route Khadafy’s forces, the President defended his humanitarian intervention that saved 'thousands of lives' and allowed the rebels to leave their Benghazi stronghold to advance toward Tripoli.

President Obama has plainly made the United States the 800 pound guerilla expressing a desire to throw Col. Khaddafi over the top rope one way or another.

It is useful to review a couple of points of the President’s logic for intervention.

1) President Obama could have asked Congress for permission to safeguard rebel controlled cities with U.S. air power before Col. khaddafi9 advanced Libya toward Benghazi slaughtering hundreds or thousands on the way; he might not have required piles of dead revolutionaries as a justification to enter the war via the U.N.

2) The United States could have provided relocation assistance for doomed rebels in Benghazi with air, land and seem evacuation to safety instead of militarily intervening.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton mentioned three ambiguous points speaking to N.A.T.O. in Europe recently. Her third point of the Clinton corollaries to the Obama Doctrine of Protection for Revolutionaries was somewhat difficult to interpret. It was something like 'Revolutionary actions must be supported by change'. This point reminds me of an explanation for a justification for extending the general theory of relativity in a book on loop quantum gravity I have been reading recently.

Fundamentally, that book mentioned the metaphor of the singularity stopping the flow of a continuum such as occurs at a black hole theoretically. Such stoppage can happened when a faucet is turned off and just a drip of space-time or revolutionary change gets through. One must extend the space-time continuum of revolutionary paradigm in some what if organizing a revolutionary criterion.

That point was not well developed by Einstein or Hillary Clinton either. Fore we foresee a grab bag of revolutionary issues in the Middle East ahead that will distract from transitioning to a green, low entropy economy in the United States in addition to creating full employment or at least a minimum guaranteed income for the unemployed.

Where is the moral good, one might wonder, in failing to assassinate Moamar Khadafy if the United States administration is determined to have him go, with no place to go? Thousands of lives would have been saved and still could be with one bullet to the head of The Supreme Guide of Libya. It is difficult to understand why the promulgation of The Big Lie of public propaganda must go on, that the war machine and scores of spook agencies must have full employment and another region of conflict to engage in should be preferable, in addition to the failure to avoid loss of rebel life, failure to file comprehensive environmental impact statements for war activities-when the assassination of The Leader would be far more cost effective of lives, treasure and endangered Libyan species.

I would have preferred a peaceful transition over time as Moamar Khadafy faded away instead of a bloody, violent revolution. Technological progress would have made the dictatorship obsolete in due course it is possible.

If Moamar Khadafy seeks to flee, will the United States allow him to load up his truck convoy with 6 billion in gold and drive south perhaps to refuge in The Ivory Coast, Liberia or some other African nation? Realistically, when Hillary Clinton demands that Khadafy leave, she is demanding that he suicide, for like the former East German Leader Kurt Honaker, he has no where on Earth to go.

Melting Antarctic Icebergs Stimulate Phytoplankton Growth/Chlorophyll/CO2 Absorption

Global warming that may accelerate the loss of ice in Antarctic may be a last line of defense against global warming. Nature seems to have several built in elements to moderate global temperature. It would be wise not to overuse the last ecospheric reserves to absorb carbon dioxide and reduce atmospheric greenhouse gassing effects from human causation.

In the world's history the atmospheric temperature is believed to have risen significantly before. Also it is believed that high temperatures caused by greenhouse gassing from odd sources such as excessive volcanism or perhaps a thin planetary proto-crust moderated eventually. Temperatures would tend to reflect the primary relationship values of distance from Earth from the heat of the sun, and there may be other factors such as heat from the Earth's hot subsurface in effect too. Just because the melt water from Antarctic icebergs may promote sea plant or phytoplankton growth, it doesn't mean that it will compensate entirely or even mostly for the lowered albido (reflectivity) of vast land mass areas in the north as winter and snow cover decreases annually.

In fact, it seems unlikely that the increase absorption of CO2 caused by the loss of ice from Antarctica would even compensate for the increasing loss of coverage of the Arctic ice cap annually with the increasing heat absorption of the Arctic Ocean.

The neo-Platonist philosopher Plotinus wrote about how The One might have emanated the Universe. Actually the creation of the Universe is a great mystery for finite minds. Cosmological physicists think about the topic all the time though, and sometimes irreverently regard the sketch of order of Genesis from the Bible. We trust in God though for creating Universes more than ourselves. Scientists regard its origin sometimes as a substance that just naturally arose from nothing and/or without cause in some cases finding mathematical logic to support a recycling perpetual recurrent universe.

I too wonder how the One might have created a Universe that arrives as a great tree of life. The idea of the unmoved mover seems best; the Creator of the Universe Himself has no cause as He always existed. Without the mathematics that provide so many excellent sets, infinite series, differential and integral fields to structure models of Universe from I am left to poetics and prose.

Jesus mentioned in John 11 some interesting points when he set about resurrecting his dead friend Lazarus. Before I write my poem below, let me point out what Jesus said about the light not being in man.

The friend of Jesus had died, and Jesus talked of the light not being in man hence he stumbles in the dark. Jesus was addressing four or five points simultaneously it appears. He was talking about the problem of sin in mankind (people had sought to stone him) and referring to those people as being in spiritual darkness who did not see the light of the world (God) Jesus Christ, and he was also referring to his dead friend Lazarus who had not life in himself any more (a lack of quarks or strings configured to produce life), furthermore, being dead, Lazarus could not negotiate in the world beyond without resurrection. That was a hint of the spiritual world to come in which actual spiritual resurrection occurs better than physical resurrection such as would be done for Lazarus soon.

Then we move to the scene of the resurrection of Lazarus. Jesus actually wept in this setting-the only time He is known to have done so as he felt so bad about losing His friend to death. This is good. It indicates that God took seriously the issue of the death of a human being, and knows that resurrection is important to us humans.

While tolerance for the civil rights of all human beings is necessary, so should tolerance of the moral norms of people that choose not to have a sin-based normalization of society. New Steam Engine Design for In-Space Travel

An interesting report at space.com on a design for an electro-thermal engine making steam to thrust the ship forward (it goes out nozzels on the back of the spaceship). It would be powered with water.

Hopefully the water would not be taken from Mars, or the Moon (ice) where it is a finite resource. If space ships must use water, it should be taken from comets or other ice beyond Pluto (and they should not use Pluto for fuel).

Its an interesting idea, yet somewhat backwards. Earth is where water should be used for fuel, and space use ions or photons, dirt or electro-magnetic fields or some substance such as methane or hydrogen possibly from one of the moons of Saturn or jupiter.

Leibniz, The Infinitesimal Calculus and Identity and Individuality in Quantum Mechanics

In a way, I am making a note about this topic for later reference. Reading a history book on select math developments such as calculus the subject of infinitesimally small intervals arose, and of course quantum mechanical 'objects' are also very small if not practically infinitesimally small because their measurements are difficult to make with standard measuring sticks.

In fact measuring the location or a speed of some very small objects is possible yet a little bit inconclusive since abstracting just one characteristic of a speeding quantum particle may actually change its nature.

In calculus it seems that there was a similar problem in measuring the speed or location of an object along a wavy line (sinusoidal) or even a strait line representing speed or distance. One could get an instant speed at a point or the speed over an area averged. A refined guessing or reduction of areas crossed with rectangles using a hyped up Pythagorean math to determine areas was developed. I have no idea if there is a non-Euclidean calculus with a differnet, more difficult basis for computation.

Not to get off track and obscure-for I am not a mathematician, the infinitesimals of calculus and that of points or quanta are ponderables in proximity. The philosophical article in the link above is about identity and individuality in quantum mechanics-I guess, having not yet had time to read it yet.

The behavior of matter and light near a black hole is interesting for numerous reasons including what can be learned about fundamental forces of nature such as electro-magnetism, 'massless' photons, the properities if any of space and behavior of quarks and other sub-atomic particles near the presence of a very powerful gravitational field. Gravity is the most weak of the three major forces of nature in the standard model of physics (the other two are electro-magnetism or electroweak force and the strong nuclear force) so it is especially interesting when concentrated in places such as a black hole.

The power of gravity I suppose being one-directional with all that mass it just keeps crunching everything inward. That doesn't actually make a lot of sense, since space hasn't got any directions to it, so gravity perhaps locks of mass in such a way that it can't have a reverse at a certain point.

Faith is Required for Passage of a Federal Budget

Citizens observing Congress might disagree with a recent NPR claim that ‘there is no place for faith in the chaos’ of Congressional budgeting. That sounds a little like an untterance from an apostle of atheism. NPR probably has faith that the Democratic majority in the Senate will restore the half billion dollars of NPR funding that the House cut. Maybe they will lever all they can to pile on the support for globalist radio even so.

Full faith and credit in the value of the U.S. dollar is what keeps it afloat. Faith that the U.S. Congress will at some point return from their fiscal binge of protracted foreign wars and failure to focus on developing U.S. infrastructure instead of outsourcing work must exist if the members are not to despair.

Faith is what is required to overcome the chasm of uncertainty. Lack of confidence in one’s ability or in that of one’s fellow citizens can bring one to fail to cross the high bar of ecological economic national revitalization. Faith is what allows people to begin projects of vast scale and meaning when there seems little hope for success, or when the light at the end of the tunnel hasn’t yet become even a distant light in the darkness.

Congress must have faith that they shall overcome drinking the wine of the wrath of economic fornication on Wall Street and Iraq and restore sound judgment about the right role of government in democracy. Democratic representatives are not supposed simply to be yes men that say ‘let the market do it’ to every possible task they should work for themselves. One cannot suppose a market to decide what the condition of externalities to their for-profit activities should be, government cannot rely on market chaos to select what their security situation should become or who ought to provide it if anyone.

Passing a federal budget requires faith that God has provided a natural law and a spiritual inspiration that can be discovered. Pursuit of the intelligent, the good and beautiful, a health ecosphere and citizenry in government as well as life requires good budgeting of time, energy and financial resources. Congress must have faith instead of cynical despair in their fellow congresspersons and themselves that they can pass a balanced budget at some point in this lifetime or in that of their children or children’s children. Nations without oil or with more than one rich natural resource should not try cash commune libertarianism at home.

That is beyond the scope of this comment on what President Obama plans to make of Libya besides perhaps a chaotic political mess. Maybe the Libyan will become reconfigured into Jeffersonian liberals with enough propaganda from CNN or Al Jeezera, yet I am skeptical about that. Maybe the region will become as stable as the economy of the U.S.A. is with expert management of the U.S. budget and ignorance of the national interest in transitioning to a low entropy ecological economic policy-such a transition would likely require 25 years.

Pentagon Mouthpiece Says U.S. Will Continue to ‘Pressurize’ Libya

Pressurization is something like war. U.S. military flights flew 175 missions the past two days. Air Force General Margaret Woodward has coordinated the military liberalization of Libya with the full menu of million-dollar apiece missile entrées. Inflating Libya with military pressurization, the rebels of Libya may enjoy President Obama’s rich military attention. Yet they might expect some sort of pay back for the military pressurization in the future.

The disorienting leadership of the internationalist President Obama waging an out of country conflict while the incompetent congress can’t balance a budget must be somewhat amusing for the President who finds himself leader of the hapless lot of idiots pursuing global wealth while forsaking their own real national interests. That occurs in the decadent Universalist phase of an overly expanded nation-state.

The United States like ancient Rome began with the advantage of comparative isolation and security and borrowed brilliant innovating leaders and ideas from a previous civilization-then it prospered.

Eventually though the nation became a world leaders and expanded beyond its base losing its security and flooding its realm with global leadership. The rest is history; Rome fell and became a backwater subject to other powers of the world for the remainder of its existence unto modern times.

President Obama Opens Third Spatio-Temporal Military Front; Libya

With just two hours notice to congress President Obama opened a neo-proxy war last Friday to end the Kaddafi regime of Libya. The President has been running his little sideshow from a working vacation in South America for several days using ‘blackberry control’ for micro tasking his globalist wrath via the properly priced powers of the Pentagon.

The President didn’t call the donation of an air force and cruise missiles a war obviously. It was the establishment of a Col. Kaddafi’s Government no-fly zone in order to benefit the Rebel forces of Libya. At what point the rebels are rebels for protesting or firing a weapon at the Libyan army hasn’t been made clear.

Some sort of standard rules for determining who are or are not legal combatants might be useful if one believes such legalities are not mere anachronisms. In a legal context in which community law supersedes written law Leninist ends-justify-means principles seem to be in effect.

Some Americans still like plain legal demarcations and explicit social recognition of civil rights. Without equal and universal civil rights the government can readily becomes an enemy of the people of a nation domestically and for-others.

Modern methods of war and social lack of concern renders such preferences moot in some instances beyond posturing before the reality T.V. cameras of war for ratings.

Recently butched up U.S. military forces protecting the new gayzites of Liberalism-the potential plays on words are endless with an integral calculus of change-must bring about some sort of results in administration logic. One may wonder what the changes will be in Libya in years ahead.

President Obama seemingly has opened a destabilized state of affairs for Libya that could last a decade. The present civil war might go on for months or not. Regardless of the time it takes for the issue to be decided, it is unknown what sort of a government will emerge from the wreckage.

A Libyan government that is free and democratic probably will be too weak on secret police activity to repress terrorists. In choosing to enter a third Muslim nation with antagonistic military power the administration has afforded an opportunity for Muslim propagandists to claim that America is a crusader nation bent on converting Muslims to the free market and consumerist atheism. That charge is difficult to refute.

What kind of non-Euclidian political calculus actually goes into U.S. foreign policy intervention planning is unknown to many. While the U.N. may have ordered the engagement to save civilian/rebel lives as an alternative to evacuating them by land and sea, the destabilization of Libya by removal of the Kaddafi government may endanger American lives in the years ahead.

If the duty of a U.S. President is to enact the will of congress and defend the United States, he has apparently done neither of those objectives in his Libyan venture that he says he will turn over to the participating powers in a few days…I am sure they will be very happy with that.

Presidents Washington and Eisenhower each had farewell speeches warnings of permanent foreign political alliances or engagements, of the dangers of a standing military or of the military industrial complex.

U.S. foreign policy opening up protracted and costly military actions in Muslim nations may involve a kind of Euclidean solid compiling and configuration strategy involving color and composition of uncertain parameters and variables. On Faith

I thought I would write a note about faith. Reading an interesting book on the historical development of select fields of mathematics I reached a place where the author commended Descartes method of philosophical introspection for first principles of knowledge. He suggested it as being exemplary of a method for self-help.

I enjoy reading philosophy and the meditations on a method have stimulated generations of people to consider basic assumptions about experience. Yet the axiom suggested; taking nothing on faith, seems implicitly invalid; this is why…

Experience of the world implicitly presents itself in structure. Today we might reduce our description for causation of the structure to physicalist processes relating to quantum theory; however it is at any rate structured and therefore heterodox in nature. One’s own conscious experience exists of a structured reality not generated by one’s own thought.

It might be popular for some moderns to suggest that a tabula rasa like existential appreciation of reality is requisite for making decisions about belief and subjective epistemological relationships to things external. It isn’t necessary to be so far existentially isolated in making myriad practical judgments about the world and of religious matters inevitably. Not all questions about faith in God or faith in Jesus Christ occur within a subjective, existential criterion though it may be popular to convince people that it is the case.

Let me provide a few examples about practical questions of faith compared to an abstract, existential paradigm for contemplating the meaning of faith.

Example 1-You are alone on a small, wet, cold island in Alaska with dwindling supplies. You have no batteries for communication devices and food is running low. A winter storm may occur so looking for food may be a good idea. A week before the fellow that dropped you off on the island said that he would return today at eleven. You have faith that he will return on time and so pack and are ready at the landing site instead of foraging for food somewhere else.

Example 2-The Japanese Army has invaded the Philippines. You are a local with a libertarian political philosophy the Japanese would repress. An American General evacuating the Philippines says ‘I shall return’. You have faith and fight the Japanese as an insurgent from the jungle with faith that one day the General will return to reinforce the resistance. Without faith, the prospects for resistance might have seemed futile.

3) Two thousand years ago a UFO visits the Earth and an alien named Morty gets off. Soon he instructs the villagers of a remote desert collection of ramshackle dwellings that someday in the distant future he will return to bring desalinating equipment in order to help make the production of fresh water and lemonade possible for less cost than rival villagers sell it for presently. All he needs now is the sacrifice of some barbecued goats to fuel his vehicle.

The villagers provide the goat meat and the alien departs in his UFO. A cult of faith develops that lasts quietly in the village for two millennia. It is not unreasonable for the villagers’ descendents to have faith that the UFO will return as promised with their water making equipment is it?

Example 4- A anthropologist is alone in an African jungle walking to a village. Suddenly she is aware that millions of army ants are moving her way. She walks faster and soon reaches a small ravine at the bottom of which is a crocodile infested creek.

There are two planks that cross over to the far side of the creek, and two men telling her to cross over their plank safety. One man accuses the other have being a deceiver, and that his plank is rotten and a death trap for western anthropologists. The other man is humble, and says he paid for the plank himself, knows it to be safe, and the only thing he charges to use it is faith.

The anthropologist chooses to have faith and crosses to safety before the woman eating army ants reach the barrier.

Example 5- Jesus Christ arrived on Earth about the year 3 B.C. and at age 30 began a three year ministry to evangelize the people of the world with the good news that He is God. If people have faith that He is God and paid for their sins with the sacrifice of His own life-and accept Him as their Savior-then he will take them unto heaven eventually and eternal life reconciled unto God the Father.

In other words, Christians are to have faith that Jesus Christ really plans to return to Earth one day, or otherwise liberate them from the bondage of mortal life and the problems of sin and evil. Faith that Jesus Christ will return is not an abstract intellectual or philosophical construction instead of a belief that a real man who lived at a particular moment in history actual was who he said he was, overcame death with resurrection and will return to wrap up his mission-to-Earth at some point in the future.

Faith in Jesus Christ is a belief in a particular individual and trust in His word.

Kemp, Reagan, Concussions & Supply Side Tax Cuts

The 31% income tax cuts that Ronald Reagan signed into law were stimulated by the Kemp-Roth bill to cut income taxes 30%. The national debt more than doubled during the Reagan administration.

Congressman Jack Kemp was a pro football quarterback who handed off the football to O.J. Simpson playing for the Buffalo Bills. Perhaps Jack Kemp got several concussions like O.J. One wonders if O.J. was not the career leader in concussions since he was most of the expansion era Bill’s offense.

Ronald Reagan also played football albeit in college. He also served in world war two and of course contracted Alzheimer’s disease. Autopsies have shown that the brains of football player’s that have had several concussions shrink about 50% as much as those with Alzheimer’s. That is concussions cause Alzheimer’s scale brain damage if repetitive.

Kemp and Reagan, the two prime movers of 30% tax cuts for the rich each had the potential for brain damage during their political careers from football concussions and/or Alzheimer’s disease. Bill Clinton, who never played in more than a band, eliminated the tax cuts so far as possible.

One might wonder if there is a relationship between brain damage and support for very low federal income tax rates. Does cocaine use factor in to creating political belief that mass economic growth will pay for federal deficit spending by the trillions simultaneously with 30% income tax cuts Maybe, just for academic purposes, scientists might ask O.J. Simpson if he would allow his brain to be MR’d t determine I he has experienced significant brain damage from his football concussions. Simpson probably was the best fullback in the NFL history and on terrible teams ran the ball about every play averaging five yards a carry (approximately). Simpson may have played with concussions and ignored them as best as possible.

Economic Wars of Today and Tomorrow

Alternatively if China attacked Taiwan other players might find it a good time to attack China from another direction. Modern games theory seems to be behind several potential conflicts today, especially as economic calculations of the value of targets, weapons and economic losses to rivals and increased economic power to winners seem to have returned to the phenomena of war.

When the Bush II administration choose to accept Kaddafi’s normalization feelers seven years ago much of the American right was discomfited with letting the well known terrorist off the hook. One must wonder if G.W. Bush was setting up a rope-a-dope for a foot in the door to let another administration deliver the knock out punch to the terrorist dictator bring in oil reserves and better contracts with a different post-Kaddafi government?

Moamar Kaddafi long ago was a revolutionary leader receiving support fro the world leftist war against the ‘free world’. He was a radical Islamist as well seeking gains against the ‘Crusader-Colonialists’ in a protracted war of Muslims against the dar al harb. With the end f the cold war the dictator realized in time that he was over-exposed without a K.G.B. backup and Soviet military existential ally I suppose-he sought to renormalize relations with the west after 9-11 in order not to become a target for a Bush II invasion force. Moamar Khadafy was buying time, yet the post 9-11 west placed more demands upon Liberalization than the dictator was willing to afford.
