Intermodal Auto-Driving Mass Transit Platforms on the Road Ahead?

Mass transit vehicle platforms driving themselves may alter conventional urban transportation style. What forms could they take and how much money could they save the public while delivering increased performance over buses?

The flow of small and mid-size electronically powered platforms delivering passengers to urban locales points may become more of an on-demand, responsive and low-time loss structure replacing larger fossil fuel buses and even some dedicated rail lines.  One would expect increased responsiveness to social flow requisites with individuated electronic platforms driving themselves. Each ought to be wired into a governing transportation algorithm determining the quickest routes of the day.

Ad hoc allocation of vehicles to expedite service needs should be simple. The basic electric wheel-motor platform from four to 30 passengers should be inter-modal and able to drive on to dedicated wheel guide lanes for higher speeds of travel-even across the nation. Like railroad cars the various platforms should be able to electro-magnetically couple up into single units for longer-range travel on guide-paths. Maybe the next President will bring new ideas to the American mass transportation infrastructure. Probably  not though-It’s more likely to be the Chinese.

One would think that a better adaptation of public mass-transit needs would develop with individually inexpensive transit platforms able to fit into the general public transit flow with private self-driving electric platforms. 

Differences Between Pope Francis' & Protestant Eco-Conservation Approach

When Pope Francis spoke out for ecospheric conservation recently saying that 'if we destroy creation it will destroy us' he was emulating President Obama's bully's pulpit of hierarchical leadership to bring attention to an important issue. While the Protestant churches have a more egalitarian approach to scriptural interpretive independence the fractured pluralism makes it challenging to present a single clear voice of opinion.

Conservation of the planetary ecosphere is of paramount importance second only to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ the Lord and His atoning sacrifice. Some Protestant churches have failed to move much beyond reformation era-16th century ideas about church structure themselves without moving on to a priesthood of believers format with three simple ranks for believers instead of a church hierarchy too though limited generally to a particular church or denomination. Some Protestant churches such as the Anglican even kept the Catholic bishop-based church leadership structure and that hasn't well served the effort to move toward a better evangelic reformation today.  The Catholic Church itself has plans for a 3rd millennium evangelic reformation bringing more opportunity to ordinary believers.

It is simple for believers to have a free Bible as a PDF file to download to a used notebook computer from eBay to have read to them. It is reasonable to progress in knowledge of scripture yet many church pastors still act as if every member of the congregation just arrived yesterday and needs to learn first things.

Issues about not destroying all life on Earth through ecocide and extermination of species are sometimes written off as of no concern by Pastors selling eschatological or end times interests instead-the world is just disposable and God will rescue the elect-yet maybe God wants to save people even yet unborn and would like to continue the health of the ecosphere of the planet Earth more than a century-it is not the Christian place to judge the world disposable now. Instead Protestants and Roman Catholics ought to lose that few. Pray and pass the ecological economic renewal plans.

Since Abraham Lincoln decided that Federalism trumps state’s rights with the power of war (in order to defeat British imperialism supported Southern States successionists) subsequent administrations have increased Federal power and decreased that of states. Not for any reason besides the convenience of force and the fate of having a troop of nuclear scientists from the globe develop nuclear weapons to defeat the Nazis the U.S. Government has acquired substantial military power and tends to be the number one global bully. Choosing to corrupt the rational biological criterion of marriage of genes to procreate children several federal judges have ruled that states have no constitutional right to restrict marriage to male and female couplings. One cannot be certain if Federal judges believe that states can set any parameters for marriage. At the least it is amusing that a Constitution created by the sons of Puritans is held by judges to validate the premise of homosexual marriage through radical deconstruction and revisionism. Homosexual marriage is an abomination and simply a way for the corrupt to get in the limelight. Homosexuals are not slaves and don’t require exotic treatment. They could have used existing business law to snare themselves in permanent dyadic legal encumbrances instead of subverting marriage.

The trend for Federal courts to derationalize law in support for a global Plutocracy with the reinforcement of godless atheists of left and right finds useful tools in considering citizens to be Universals with no rights for particular treatment by state’s laws. That is marriage criteria can have no particular restriction to just heterosexuals; any adult as a Universal within the constitution can marry though marriage would itself be an unfair advantage given over single individuals obviously when biology reason isn’t involved. The government is simply rewarding recurrent lust and sado-masochism The key to understanding the inconsistency is this-the Plutonomy regards citizen-Universals as commodities taking up planetary space and ought to be degraded and charged ubiquitous rents as individual citizen-units are finessed politically while the really, really big shew moves them down the road to empowerment oblivion.

Marriage regarded as a limited business partnership could have no exclusive qualifying criteria any more than strip joint ownership. Logically that means that polygany and polygamous marriages would be allright too though neo-corporatist. Corporate marriages are somewhat ponderous impersonal and cultist though while the matter of taxation on limited-partnership marriage, tax deductions, liability and inheritance viewed through a business filter additionally incentivizes further changes to the definition of traditional marriage.

If government through judicial revisionism and deconstruction is maladapting human society to business paradigmata that are regarded as non-discriminatory universals the entire paradigm for biologically based discrimination on a biological foundation to confer advantages upon select social classes will increasingly fall under judicial review.  Egregiously hateful taxation on the rich of more than 5% will fade away at last and the tax burden of the public debt can be shifted upon the masses laboring to just lust freely following the will of the rich. Business hitherto has had an implicit right to discriminate against citizens regionally charging different prices in areas with different racial components. Oranges are cheaper in Orange County California for instance than in Barrow Alaska in a hating and bigoted way to victimize the Yupik people and others struggling on the North Slope.

Pro basketball has compiled an innate sexist exclusivity with the inherent right to discriminate against women who are shorter on average than men. Taking the average height of American adults and requiring that any N.B.A. team’s total height summed for adult players address up to the American average height would let the Chicago Bulls have maybe one 7 footer but several below average height players to still reach the ceiling cap. Good short women players would have a chance to play in the N.B.A. There are simply too many social and business structures specially adapted to biological facts to enumerate here.  Courts will have to work overtime to outlaw female only sports leagues, scholarships for negroes only and the contradictory-to-the-constitution apartheid reservations keeping extraction industries, loggers and housing developers from leading America’s first people to full integration with illegal aliens, Daughters of the Confederacy and the junkies of D.C..

Homosexual marriage is just the first of an avalanche of changes that would neuter state constitutions and change U.S. society to one of a Universal state seeking to impose a Universal condition upon the globe before it goes broke buying stuff made in China. When the glass ceiling of separate bathrooms for men and women is shattered social fairness can have a chance to bring peace to Wall Street.

It is expected that with 14 states having had a Federal judge decide they cannot limit marriage to male and female couples the U.S. Supreme Court will here arguments from the states seeking to reverse that choice. One wonders if the case won’t be a judgment by the court determining if its head is up its ass or not.

N. Korea May Be Evolving Small Nukes for Missiles

Politicians have been evolving quite a few things the past year of concern to ordinary people such as exist. North Korean Paramount Supreme Dictator is said to be doing some evolving of nuclear missiles with a range of 800 miles in order to keep up with the lurkers in the depths of dark pools of trading on Wall Street. That's better than evolving to be a gangsta I suppose yet it's not just shootin hoops benevolently.

One can blame almost anything on evolution and accept it as joss, routine loss or que sera sera politics. Federal deficits of vast scale, the concentration of wealth, the perversion of marriage to become what it is not in order to transfer wealth and power to the corrupt (not a new form of evolution) and even the running of Federal Reserve printing presses at night to produce more pay for bureaucrats that hate the citizens they scalp for the benefit of global plutocracy are more examples of contemporary evolution.

Evolution means never having to say bureaucrats are responsible for anything bad. Its just the way evolution flows and no one remembers anyway. Yet if Supreme Dictator Un develops the power to launch nuclear missiles and hit Japan, Japan too might evolve a similar capacity and the evolution of conflict could evolve those places back to the stone age stage of evolution all over again.

No Host Yet for 2014 World Chess Championship

It is evidently costly to sponsor a world chess title match these days ($800,000 sterling to the winner) and none in Norway have come forward with the cash to bring World Champion Magnus Carlsen and former World Champion Vishy Anand to the board. That raises the prospect of E.S.P.N. or Foxx Sports buying a world championship series on the cheap, although chess games may be a little high-brow for some Americans. Gamers on the Internet are numerous though and chess is one of the leading board games of history.

It does require a certain intellectual interest to enjoy Paul Morphy's Opera House game I suppose. It was a thing of beauty. Magnus Carlsen is the highest rated chess player ever and the top grand masters are more consistent from year to year  than the top bikers on the Tour de France-it's rather fun to follow the  annual changes in standings of world class players not on steroids lest they evolve into meatheads.

Tillich’s Paradigm for Uncertainty and Faith

The theologian Paul Tillich was one of the most interesting philosophers of religion of the 20^th century. It is reasonable to decide that his paradigm explaining the ontology of faith continues the work of the Protestant reformers Luther, Zwingli and Barth while anticipating the work of Sartre’s existentialist inquiries into the subjective nature of human experience.

Tillich’s book ‘What is Religion’ edited by Luther Adams is a summary of the complex worldview of Tillich on religion. Rather than being simply an apologetic for Christian faith that explains the circumstance of faith, election and salvation from a solely Biblical perspective as would Barth, Tillich’s thought encompasses a philosophy ground for human existence and thought in their relationship to the Creator-the Unconditional.

Evidently, and just evidently for I am learning what Tillich’s ideas are just now for-myself, and with Adam’s intro ideas about Tillich, Tillich considers the reason for the possibility of faith and uncertainty by the conditional (mankind) in regard to the Unconditional (God) this; if man had absolute certainty of God man would have the possibility of being like or thinking of himself as a little god regarding God as the conditional. Mankind could regard God as the subjective other instead of the all-encompassing, transcendent Unconditional.

It is useful for me at least to consider some of these theological paradigms in light of what is known in contemporary cosmology of the construction of the Universe or Universes even in case they branch out forming a contiguous vast right and/or left wing Multiverse with read and blue shifts in space-time independence. One must wonder how red and blue shift-the Doppler effect, would apply to time dilation when time exists inherently within a particular Universal field and its own thermodynamic configuration. Inter-Universally as between several branched Universes the time dilemma would be a significant challenge for causal explanation.

At any rate, if the steady state mass-energy of the apparent visible Universe has some Unconditional foundation transcending the Higgs field or virtual particles from a non-dimensional origin the human experience of being is still what it is-phenomenal and yet contingent and conditional subject to whatever the true and theoretically non-temporal origin is. For Tillich the immediate transcendence of the Unconditional is the basic paradigm to relate a description of additional social categories of faith and governance.
