About a Ten Dimension Universe

One might wonder where the extra six dimensions-and an extra six directions- are. Analytical geometers can construct a theoretical hyper dimensional object and make consistent inferences regarding its properties such as relatively speaking, the Pythagorean Theorem provides for triangles and object constructed from them. The particles and waves of quantum mechanics haven’t got a comprehensive, in depth mathematical explanation quite yet that tie in to gravity and other large, solid state physics features of the universe, so the mathematics of hyper-dimensional geometry has taken its turn (ref. the Shape of inner Space by Yau and Nadis 2010).

What one finds in reading about extra dimensional space-presently generally thought of as ‘small dimensions’ are a world of ideas of construction of dimensions generally.

Our three ‘large’ dimensions of space may be tied onto a string of smaller dimensions like leaves, or not. Myriad analogies exist to describe the way an extra six dimensions of space fundamentally made of strings could cohere in association with our three dimensions of space. It may be that the dimension of time transcends the nine dimensions of space in what fundamentally could be a ten dimensional universe.

Like the tip of an iceberg compared to the mass-energy of these three dimensions the bulk of matter and energy may be hidden below the surface in these smaller, extra six dimensions. Its’ only one theoretical approach however, and the limits of such extra-dimensional constructions of geometry could be unlimited and of course presently unknown.

Geometrical models of the quantum mechanical world must be internally consistent and then find some consistence with observed behavior of quanta. Some string theory actually predicts gravity in addition to just describing a formula relation to space-time, mass and energy. With mass and energy flowing into six extra dimensions the possibilities of its behavior in that realm is unknown too. If size is relative, could there be corresponding real echo world realities within those six dimensions albeit of a smaller comparative size?

It is something of a paradox than any dimension might be regarded as being ‘small’ if they are infinite yet compact. One would expect the smaller dimensions to change in scale in a way comparable to the expansion of our three spatial dimensions.

The basic particle of string theory is said to be a string. String may combine or be stretched out in different dimensions to form sheets, spheres, loops, branes, membranes and hyper-dimensional Calibi-Yau manifolds or non-Kohler structures. One might obviously ask ‘what is a string made of ?’.

Basically one has a quanta of being-the string- and nothingness. The string or abundance of strings at the beginning might have been cut from the same ball of yarn into myriad little pieces that reassemble as best they can forming complex hyper-dimensional shapes in the process that seems to be the three dimensions of space-time we live in. Time is something of an enigma. As a dimension without space dimensions what would it be?

The vast number of potential configurations of strings as basic quanta that may serve to assemble cosmological theories and large-scale units of assembly can be narrowed down a bit by requiring that their math and geometric structures agree with observation. The equivalence of string and dimensions seem to agree in some why, I think, in as far as math regards the properties of real things rather than dimensions as things for themselves. Physicists may use a Calibi-Yau manifold as a given structure or shell in which strings, loops and branes exist with the math of those surfaces and strength of units of string energy have a rational though complex reality subject to mathematical description. The number of dimensions that could exist in any universe may or may not have a limit. If geometers can imagine, or computers design 1000 dimension Universes in theory what would stop them from existing in fact-Occam’s razor?

So math and cosmology has entered this intriguing period of conjecture and observation. Just 15 years ago cosmologists thought they were approaching some sort of a conclusion to scientific learning about the Universe. It was believed a big bang just exploded, or inflated space-time into existence maybe from nothing, or perhaps recurring in cycles in a never ending or beginning process (that later sounds improbable). Now it seems that there are a trillion possible structures to explain observations of the quantum world, of the WMAP Cosmic microwave background of the early universe, numerous new theories of gravity, space and time, possibilities that extra dimensions may warp our three dimensions of space and that local warps might be measured and compared to a hypothetically correct metric for the extra-dimensional relationship.

It is a good time to be interested in cosmology and in theology too, for one may yet find the Word of God issuing reality a ready to contemplate paradigm for the way strings were created to start with. Theological considerations of a universe before inflation or creation of dimensions still leaves an eternity of time as a dimension that contains temporal dimensions and membranes as they occur occasionally. One wonders about such phenomenalities occurring within a timeless eternity perhaps a complex structure of dimensions grounding spiritual existence temporally. It is an interesting time to consider space and being.

A better vehicle to pursue would be a low-profile combination jet-ski-hydrofoil/hovercraft for one or two marines. Such a vehicle would also be simpler to air drop anyplace. Even global warming concerns could be dismissed and full development of the Arctic coast for offhore oil exploration and highway construction given the red state light.

One of the helpful things about apocalyptic religious beliefs is their potential to be used as Gnostic excuses for apocalyptic ecology practices.
Exxon maintains a low profile in Alaska and now does BP. Presently Connoco-Phillips is the high profile oil corporation with hard hat wearing executives in their large downtown Anchorage office building-at least until they to join the ranks of those maxi-scale polluters that must skulk away for a time. There are numerous corporations seeking to build vast mines in Britol Bay, dam the Susitna River or otherwise insult and injure Alaskan fisheries. Four Dimensional Universe Could Expand to Ten

String theory has provided numerous striking insights into the potential and actual behavior of the physical Universe. Fields Medal winner Shin Tung Yau has co-authored a book published in November 2010 in which he describes ‘The Shape of Inner Space’. Yau’s work at constructing geometrical shapes of hyper-dimensions following on the work of another mathematician named Calabi provided the famous Calibi-Yau manifolds that presently best exemplify what a six dimensional geometric shape might be like.

The Calibi-Yau manifolds are a mathematical construction and valuable for-themselves in the progress of geometry. Yau mentions that a new geometry may be needed for the very small realm of quantum mechanics. Such geometry might work in the realm of quantum uncertainty.

Physicists have applied the Calibi-Yau shapes to string theory cosmology. Strings instead of particles are thought to be the irreducibly smallest component of matter. Strings viewed end on seem like points, and from other points of view can be viewed as circles or ellipses, branes or membranes. If matter can be compacted and folded into six extra dimensions it could better explain gravity and other aspects of mass and energy.

The extra dimensions have energy and were tightly bound near the start of this universe. Their energy could be flexing and providing the recently observed acceleration of space. The six dimensions could decompact suddenly and the Universe would then have ten dimensions disrupting all present forms of matter in the phase transition. The six extra dimensions may locally warp the three full size-dimensions of space. Time as a dimension may transcend all the other nine spatial dimensions.

There may be a hundred years of research ahead in math and physics measuring space carefully to discern the effects of extra dimensions, if not construct a few; would it be possible to construct a ten dimensional object in three dimensional space?

It is written that in just 15 years the Federal budget will be able to afford to pay interest on the national debt, social security, Medicare, Medicaid and nothing else. Obviously social programs will be radically trimmed to pay for military and public infrastructure. In fact the lion's share of federal payouts will go to corporate related receivers and those with U.S. bonds.

Speaker John Boehner known to burst into tears at the slightest of sentimental opportunity may rely upon a pat on the back from 'Nurse' Nancy Pelosi should he need moral reinforcement from the former Speaker. The pretentious and time consuming political process of rolling back the corporate health care bill forced through by the Democrats in the 111th session is as disingenuous as the will to restore good government financing by either part. The corporate world wins in either case; they began the HOMO corporate health groups that own much of the medical world in America anyway.

Protestant Pentecostalism tends to run toward an ignorant inimical facade of spirituality rather than the real thing. I should explain why it seems some of the speaking in gibberish seems equally able to support a demonic nonsense language as readily as any other.

The apostle Paul said he was capable of speaking in tongues (foreign languages) better than about anyone (he was quite a world traveler) but did not because people would take him for an idiot. At the actual Pentecost (an historical event) Christians spoke in foreign languages that they could not speak before and other people understood them. It was a sign of the new age when the Holy Spirit would in dwell Christians during the absence of Jesus Christ. All Christians have the Holy Spirit, yet none are required top speak a foreign language to prove that.

The Protestant clergy in America may be entirely out of phase with the historical and prophetic requirement for a priesthood of believers instead of a hierarchical priesthood. A story about 'how God works' was given such that the pastor receives a million dollar home for just taking over payments and a few dollars from a builder and former pastor that was being foreclosed upon. That was a miracle that the pastor got a millionaire dollar home for nothing! No good Christian would have just helped to let the old couple keep the house of course...

An evangelical clergy seeking to find leverage to enrich itself financially and politically is the sort of corrupting horeshit the nation does not need today. Such people are babes in Toyland, game show guests on lets make a deal choosing the curtain. Politicians or clergy letting the Wall- Street and Banking crowd corrupt the nation, skim off resources and lie, cheat and steal their way to concentrate wealth simply aren't helpful.

While the protestant clergy is simply a gaggle of corrupt tithe collectors seeking patronage from the wealthy the moral lessons for the masses and for political foreign policy will definitely suffer. Jesus was crucified by the clergy because of their fear of losing financial power and little has changed today; just try to establish a priesthood of believers and the clergy as no understanding, cognitive awareness or interest in the least.

The 110th congress isn't very likely to do much to make the country better, balance the budget, restore the environment, secure the borders, assure that all Americans are gainfully employed and so forth. Bad neighborliness is simply a fact of corporatism.

We know that corporate subsidies from taxpayers are a fact of life. Without public support such as highways and airports the corporate world could not exist. Perhaps we should allow a feudal America to develop with Corporate and clerical Mafioso running the highways, schools and ecology. I look forward to Wal-mart medical services as a way to flood the nation with competent anesthesiologists from India. Making the United States a democracy with secure borders and full employment seems to be far too much of a challenge for the morally challenged Congress and Protestant Clergy of the day. Well, we can look forward to the return of Jesus Christ on the prophetic schedule anyway especially as there is something rotten in Denmark or Wasilla. We may need to wait a while though-long enough for real reform in some 114th or 120th Congress perhaps.

Reading 'The Shape of Inner Space'; Annotations on the Cosmology Theme

It is possible to wonder how string theory and extra-dimensions relate to the problems of quantum mechanics. Quantum uncertainty, quantum entanglement and the unpredictability features of the standard model of physics descriptive of the behavior of quantum particles are apparently indeterministic so it is reasonable to wonder how the conservation of energy and information apply to an indeterministic rather than a deterministic world. If quantum particles exist in all possible states before measurement in a waveform collapse into a partially observed position in normal four dimensional space-time what is there to be conserved? What conservation of possible states that do not become are conserved and where?

The physicist Hugh Everett’s cosmological conjecture about an issuance of all possible universes from each quantum effect is one obvious state to consider, for if a new state of a universes promulgated from each quantum possibility no information prima facie seems lost. One might expect that for each qubit of data producing a new universe and infinite number of additional universes ought to be issued producing every other possible altered state as well, obviously. Another infinity of universes should be issued from each of those to conserve their information as well.

These speculations may be somewhat of the basic topic of making more annotations during my reading of Yau and Nadis’ excellent book of mathematical physics of string theory titled ‘The Shape of Inner Space’.

The decoherence of quantum states generally from the more primary quantum world of uncertainty-maybe that can be regarded as the noumenal world described by Immanuel Kant-into this universe of mass and energy considered to be the subject of study of solid state physics is an ephemeral concept useful to consider.

Is the regard for an ephemeral universe of mass and energy of solid state physical as a phenomena essential correct from a human point of view or is the concept just wrong?

Physicists such as Oogan, Strominger, Vafa, Maldecena and Witten have extended string theory geometrical constructions of membranes, D-Branes, and complex structures of membranes called cycles so far as to model black holes within a string theory paradigm. Even Stephen Hawking eventually took the opinion that information is conserved by black holes.

That permits more non-mathematical speculation…Beyond the event horizon of a black hole not only ought mass be compacted worse than in a power-dumpster, it should be in the most disordered state possible without any resemblance to whatever shape it was in before falling into the black hole and the timelessness beyond the event horizon. Practically the state of strings (the smallest and one-dimensional theoretical state of mass-energy) inside the black hole is hard to understand. If maximum entropy has occurred perhaps the strings should have no sort of polarity in regard to each other. The conservation of energy can mean simply that as the mass energy of space-time changes it becomes part of another existing structure-as when a tree slaughtered in a virgin forest is made into chips and pressboard and made into a sheet to build a restroom in a gasoline station. If information is conserved in the quantum world then structures such as black holes may have more obviously logical explanations within string theory or another potential geometrically constructible model.

Human Violence/Sin are Anti-Human and Anti-Spiritual

On this third day of the New Year it is worthwhile to reflect upon the example of Our Lord in not enacting violence upon our fellow human beings. It is also good to use some of ye old language at this time of year. The King James version of the Bible is an uncomplicated version I enjoy. In the world today there is a common surfeit of violence. In the day of the Lord there was also a surfeit of violence. Government ad religious authorities commonly orchestrated mass social movements of violence and there were few realms life that was too far removed from the imminence of personal danger from human social violence at the interpersonal level.

We have no example of Jesus using violence at all in the Bible. In the one instance where he cursed a fig tree causing it to shortly thereafter wither and ‘bear no more fruit forever’ he was using that as a device for prophecy revealing that the temple priesthood era of the Jews was over.

Interpersonal violence today is a function of a society in one aspect of a dysfunctional mode. We may acknowledge the right for proximal self defense and yet regard plain aggression as a negation of humanity for-itself. If human reasoning and social democracy cannot prevail over unreasoning, wicked force the spiritual evolution of society is set back into that conformal bundle of physical and temporal phenomena we may regard as nihilist. Such nihilism is a perennial problem for human reason and existence noted by Our Lord as was as others formerly reaching as far back in history as the Iranian philosopher Zarathustra.

Our Lord was an example of perfect human social conduct and of course non-violence. Yet there will be an era ahead when conformal social bundles of behavior will no longer be tolerated by The Lord. The potter shall cast the broken and mal-adjusted forms of the faithless back into the field and the leader of violence, lies and murder into the pit.

Human experience with violence occurs with a conformal physical behavioral bundle grounded in tangent vectors of temporal doom and spiritual decay. On this second day of the New Year Christians should reflect a little upon the desirability of encouraging non-violent social relations, becoming intolerant of aggressive violence, considering how state violence such as the conflict in Afghanistan and Pakistan may be too deeply bound in general spiritual decay that leads to material poverty and national insecurity coincidently. When the inability to implement positive political courses overloads federal international relations policies with military solutions as sole remedies to economics and culture issues the evil and wickedness of violence snares the faithless further in its descent into darkness.

Jesus said in chapter 20 of Luke verse 17-19 “And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? Whosever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.”

Jesus warned his society of the immanence of violence on countless occasions. Those of faith still should listen to the call of the Lord to quit the world of senseless violence one may regard as an imprimatur of conduct conformal to the bundled behaviors of human spiritual defeat.

It might be an interesting thing if statistical mechanics could plot the incidence of sin in America-real sin as the Bible describes explicitly and implicitly in order to write up a scalar field of where these things occur in space-time. Quantum cosmology uses such methods in string theory to develop geometrical values for all locations in space-time enabling a metric or units of spacing and frequency of various features of a field. With such a scalar field chart sin in America accurately in any given time period with the accuracy of quantum mechanical uncertainty and of course some of the same problems of observing just the position or speed of a particle or entangled particle pairs but not each simultaneously it might also become possible to chart the clumping, clusters and fluxes of sin’s scalar field and metric. Interpreting biblical prophecy quantitatively might be an added derivative result of a comprehensive statistical geometric analysis of American sin.

To return to the topic of negating the anti-humanism of violence so far as possible concurrent with a reduction of human disrespect for other living things and the ecology of the planet…Our hierarchical priesthoods may be leading the flock astray on tithing and sundry other social values.

If the nominal church hierarchical priesthood is wrong-collecting 3000% more tithes than they are entitled to if any (see the two hyperlinks above’, they may be playing right into the hands of sin themselves as active leaders in the practice of parsimony and such. Maybe they also are inclined to sign off on violence like crucifying God or warring for resources abroad with mercenaries for a piece of the action? In 2011 a reduction of anti-human violence would work to rectify a right relationship with God.
