Magnus Carlsen Wins 2013 World Chess Championship

Norwegian Magnus Carlsen (rated 2870) took the World Chess Championship for 2013 with three wins and seven draws. Former champion Viswanathan Anand played rather conservatively hoping the challenger would make a mistake he could capitalize upon. Carlsen, the highest rated chess player in history at age 22, did not make critical errors in end games exploiting the Reti opening, Nimzo Indian and Berlin defenses during the match to set a tempo leading to victory.

Carlsen has an interesting and challenging future ahead with one of several excellent challengers for the 2014 World Chess Championship. There are several players rated in the high 2700's and even more than 2800 as is Carlsen that would be formidable challengers including number for ranked in the world 24 year-old American Hikaru Nakamura rated 2786 and 20 year-old American-born Italian Fabiano Caruna rated 2782

Senate Democrats Use Nuclear Option to End Minority Filibusters

The U.S. Senate voted today to end the power of minority parties to filibuster confirmation votes. In what may be another short-term gain strategy to pack the government with Obama left-leaning nominees blocked from confirmation by Senate Republicans the administration and Sen. Harry Reed have set the stage for long range recovery by conservative nominees of the bad fiscal order of the U.S. Government.

Far too many Americans are out of work while the administration has cooked the unemployment books to make happy meals for news consumers.

Excavations from a site near Lake Baikal Siberia that is 24,000 years old unearthed bones that have genes of west Europeans. Evidently Western Europeans also were heading East at the end of the Wisconsin Ice Age with others that migrated to North America. That explains why first peoples in America have such a large proportion of West European genes.

People from Eurasia have been migrating since ancient times to the new world…as long ago as 35,000 B.C. The racial bias against Europeans for reaching America from the Irish voyages and the Albs to the Vikings, Columbus and Cabot is more political than anything else. Democrat Uncertainty on Mid-East Policy and Troop Levels

The Obama administration has been recalcitrant on making firm continuing U.S. military assistance to Iraq and Afghanistan. That is something of a Democrat Party tradition. They prefer that proxies do the killing as building up the Syrian conflict instead of building peace. Keeping stability after a conflict is even more worthwhile that getting a conflict started that could have been honorably avoided with a modicum of finesse. Original sin drives political rationalizations toward bad ends on occasion.

The Clinton administration wasn't hot about ending the sanctions era on Iraq that let 50,000 to 100,000 civilians die annually for several years. One wonders about the cliche of penny wise and pound foolish. We failed to keep a sustained support for the Afghans after the end of the war against the Soviets and that led to a Taliban hegemony while out coolness toward the Shi'a in the region seems to have helped embolden the Sunni Al Qaeda of Iraq. P.M. Maliki asked for U.S. troops for training and intelligence I suppose. We probably ought to send 5000 black op special forces advisers to indicate our support for the lawful government and opposition to terrorism.

The Obama administration has many challenges presently involving truthfulness.  That's a perennial problem for governments of course especially when amplified by a corrupt broadcast media that ought to be replaced by a broadcast slice populism for every interested web user locally. The administration seems to have dissimulated to voters on the real unemployment rate and on elements of Obamacare during the 2012 election in order to get over. In Afghanistan one wonders to what extent truthfulness matters to the leading parties of both countries?

That seems like amorphous conflict building instead of building up a democracy yet who can say? The coolness toward Egypt's government and policy of restoring some sort of Muslim Brotherhood Party role seems another failure of realpolitik. I guess all of that is a distraction from the Snowden Files revelations about bugging the phones of European leaders. The explanation was spying on friendly nations is s.o.p.

In my opinion much of this is the result of nihilist populism encouraged by godless atheists. Nothing really matters except personal egoism and the annihilation of faith, spiritual development and virtue are de rigeur for those so in love with Darwinism they cannot even have an interest is how the temporal form of mass-energy is just a tiny thread amid the eternal Spirit of God. The intellectual lethargy of atheism returning to simple pure materialism ad infinitum is a kind of malaise of the soul. When America becomes a little bit symbolic of meaning nothing it probably is harder to win friends in Moslem countries. When the Obama administration appears to have little regard for Christianity it is understandable that the unwell educated would have a bad example to emulate. At least the administration should be constant in expressing and acting on affordable continuing military security for Iraq.

As a believer in God it is simpler to consider the logic of the necessity of being and the attributes of God than it would for one with a bias of unbelief. From my point of view being is eternal and nothingness is an aspect of the temporal evolution of being necessary for the field's percepts of sentient life to be experienced.

 I have tried to bring the topic of the core of the ideas of Socrates via Plato on metaphysics into modern terms. It seems that there are Universal forms in quantum mechanics. All of the standard model quanta seem to have standard forms as Higgs field downloads into the steady state. It may be that there are Universal forms of quantum fields, and some cosmologists have tried I think to make standard forms of Universes of a multiverse. 

God logically is eternal. I won't venture far into describing the logic of eternal being here. Temporality and Universes as evolving temporal manifestations of an eternal being may in some way simply be relativistic macro-scale subjective phenomenalities of God being. For-himself there may be an infinite matrix of being of existing things perceptible or known for-himself and for subjective monads of however many dimensions as he wills. Given the complexity of human neurology and thought-there are more potential though connections in a human brain than number of star in the 135 billion galaxies of the observable Universe- it is easy to imagine that the sophistication of thought structures of the eternal God surpass that infinitely. Forms spoken into being are a marvel.

James Madison's Biblical Source for Idea of Three Branches of Government

The United States was founded by Christians. Its fundamental government structure is based on the Judeo-Christian idea of God from the book of Isaiah.

At the Constitutional Convention of 1787 James Madison proposed the plan to divide the central government into three branches. He discovered this model of government from the Perfect Governor, as he read (K.J.V.) Isaiah 33:22;

To ban Biblical references from the U.S. Government would in effect require the end of the constitutional system of three branches of Government. It may happen  that some crass would be dictators would seek to do so.

Americans can however find rest in the Lord. God is infinite ion all things, and all things are a manifestation of His will. One may find rest in nature though the only way to salvation is through the soteriological works of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Nature is being. In the existential ensemble of experience nature is the given. Human social thought and interaction seem more temporal. Returning to the One,, to the Creator of Being with nature is an eternal option.

God is the eternal uncreated Being. All things exist for God eternally and nature is an evolution of being and time aka being and nothingness for-itself. One can always find rest in the realization of the eternal amidst the temporal.

The Biblical book of Isaiah anticipated the presence of the Lord in mortal flesh too years before His birth.

Oligarchy Rent-Collecting From Youth Through Obamacare

Obamacare allowed the oligarchy to start rent collecting from American youth that had been getting away without making monthly transfer payments to global insurance corporations. Those dark areas of non-rent collecting are being phased out everywhere through the totalization of corporatism and networks.

I realized that athletes and thugs are kind of like Mongolian idiots with Universal characteristics that adapt well to any sort of political or economic structure. Some athletes are intellectuals too of course, yet few intellectuals actually work in the broadcast media-they would need to be enslaved minions without actual free speech for that with the present FCC regulatory allocation of airwaves to the rich and government primarily. Movement toward a mass social mutt hierarchy of athletes, thugs and the bureaucratically corrupt is actually satisfactory to many I suppose as the people occupy natural roles. It's not a respect-for-individuals paradigm.

One of the major deficiencies of Marxism was it's failure to recognize intellectual capital. The means of production and manufacturing were regarded something like natural resources that could be redistributed without the contribution of intellectual thought being too problematic as non-intellectuals took over the design and development of operations phases. That seemed evident in the Soviet Union's laggard development of its manufacturing sector regarding technological advance.

Intellectual liberty to invent and profit from inventions are necessary for real progress to happen. Free and intelligent though aren't natural resources that can be traded, owned by others and enslaved without trashing the overall evolution of design through intention and will.

Obamacare seems to be an implentation of enslaving insurers as if they were a natural resource. If it isn't profitable the insurance corporations will evolve out or transition into other corporate forms. Ossifying health insurers is an implicit contradiction of capitalism as a free enterprise.

There are many contradictions in social development today. Political theory has been set aside in favor of broadcast media real power propaganda politik. John Maynard Keyne's economic ideas of stimulating with government short-term defiicit spending was first put into practice by Adolph Hitler-and over-used requiring war to pay for the new shovel ready jobs of building autobahns and so forth. Of course Hitler wanted revenge for the loss of real estate in the first world war and the veterans sought another go anyway.

Ronald Reagan used Keynsean economic policy to help end the cold war and stimulate the U.S. economy with a defense build up constructing a 500 ship navy and so forth, yet the deregulation developing to maximum after the end of the cold war added to vast tax cuts and deficit spending continued till the present when a U.S. public debt of at least 19 trillion dollars should appear before President Obama sails into the sunset. The national political leaders still haven't got a grasp on macro-economic policy or what is needed to preserve the nation and American opportunity.

We are told by the media though that American immigration in recent times still brings new blood and ideas to make economic development happen here. Thanks goodness for that we are supposed to think. Three hundred million Americans must be so stupid that they couldn't possibly help themselves to a balanced budget, full employment, free health care for the poor, a good ecosphere without lots of new people.

If the United States is a nation that converts intelligent immigrants into dullards over time that need new vistas from some other nation, we wonder why, or maybe not-that might be tiresome philosophical activity straining our time allocation set for watching football.

There is a bright spot on the horizon though. China as a nation of increasing wealth may be allowed to sell health insurance to Americans after the regulations not allowing that are eventually lifted. There is so much socialism at work in government today. Airports are federally subsidized socialist infrastructures designed to profit a few corporate airlines as are ports and the Eisenhower instate structure. No where are private transportation companies required to build their own highways to drive on, airports to land upon or docks to tie up at-and pro football stadiums often are built by taxpayer dollars. At least everything is going smoothly to evolve the corporatist utopia needed for the traditional powerful Stalins of the worlds of business and government that merge into the brave new world of control. The union of a Reich and of the commune seem to be the dream of left and right these days in a godless, atheist evil empire of Y'Earth.

Senator Illiterate Gives His Best Argument for Immigration Reform To Advantage Mexico

Politically Correct Correspondent Question One-“Senator Illiterate, the President worked on expanding Sunni fundamentalism in the Middle East encouraging the Arab Spring and civil conflicts besides seeking to and flood the U.S electorate with tens of millions of Mexican citizen voters. The people of the United States haven’t any prospects for voting in Mexican elections and would experience a substantial political degradation if illegal aliens were given American citizenship and eligibility to vote in both nations. Before any consideration is given by ‘Democrats’ in Congress to making a path for Mexican citizens to elect American Presidents shouldn’t ‘Democrats’ demand from the Mexican Government that citizens of the United States be given the right to vote in Mexican elections even if not arriving in Mexico illegally?”

Perhaps a lot of politicians and prosperous Americans rely on cheap dope from Mexico. A drugged populace isn’t very economically creative except for criminal activity. The public would also have benefited by providing the trillions of dollars of treatment needed for Iraq and Afghan war casualties better in better facilities that could keep staff busy with civilian health provisioning as veteran casualty and health treatment needs declined. An active V.A. hospital system without lows and highs in patient provisioning can keep staff levels better tuned.

Of course this will only follow hard negotiations that will allow the people of Boston and Las Vegas to elect the President of Mexico. Surfing the web for news sources brought me to RT News- a 24/7 English language news service from Russia. It's interesting getting the Russian perspective on global politics without waiting for the American left homespun media to report something now and then about Russia.

One must be skeptical about propaganda from any news source of course-especially the broadcast media. RT has some solid stuff that makes it worth scanning. There was a story about print-on-demand guns made with a 3D printer from Texas. It was a prove up that 3D printing can make tough real world stuff. One might like to have space capsules built in orbit with 3D printing.

The Enviro-Tech Luddite Challenge to Republican Party Viability

Many Americans perceive the Republican Party as a collection of Luddites hording wealth. They extol rugged health care independence from global corporate collectivist lofts with the best for themselves.

There are one billion cars on Earth putting out about 5.2 tons of carbon dioxide each, annually. That’s 5 billion two hundred million tons of carbon dioxide added each year to the atmosphere. Wacko wing Luddite radio heads meanwhile criticize the high-tech development of electric automobiles making the Republican Party seem like Luddites.

Republican Luddites making victory easy for immoral Democrats converting America to an affirmative action bureaucracy. President Obama apparently a godless atheist moved toward support for concentrating wealth nonetheless with weak protest about inadequate taxation of the rich, full blooded supported for homosexual takeover of public traditions and cheerleading for tax making permanent Bush II tax cuts.

If one takes out the top five percent of Republican wage or income earners from the equation the rest of the Party isn’t doing so well. In former times Republicans were a party of tech and industry leaders rather than Luddites. They faced the challenges of the day head on from the secession of the rebels to invasion from Mexico. Instead of leading the nation to a status of environmental health they are considered wise guys or just idiots blinded by greed. On economics Republicans are not regarded as being concerned about creating full employment and bettering the standard of living for the poor and middle class. Instead they are viewed as using the prospect of jobs to lever cuts in minimum wage, reduction of environmental health defense and increased development of fossil fuels instead of electric cars. They make it so easy for Democrats to win and take the U.S.A. further down the road to Satan’s demesne.

One hopes the Republicans can lose their Luddite reputation and become regarded as realists once again. Some people would say that’s like expecting the green cheese of the moon to fall to the Earth thus feeding us all (what columnist said that?).

Senate Works on Law Banning Workplace Discrimination Against Stupidity

For the first time in two decades the U.S. Senate has developed legislation extending workplace protection for the right to be stupid. Citing federal innovations at successfully implementing stupidity the U.S. Senate seeks to compel business with more than five employees to be equally stupid at budgeting, health care provisioning for the poor and unregulated behavior.

The Presidential advisory clave pointed out that the founders failed to fully enumerate the rights of protected behavior in the articles of confederation and the constitution. The right to pick one’s nose fully and satisfyingly in the workplace without harassment, the right to camp in any public or historical proven bivouac space and the right to workplace eccentric or homosexual behavior clearly were intended by the founders while egregious displays in public spaces of Christian symbolism were not.

 Protection for homosexual behavior in the workplace is high on the Senate and President's agendas. Senator Scofflogic said that queers have the right to be flirtatious with co-workers, wear lavender mascara and pink dress with inflatable boobs without discrimination.

When wages for soldiers in the volunteer military reached 24,000 dollars for a private in combat zones the military was opened to openly homo service in order to share the wealth. This is the right to work policy applied existentially to all Mexicans seeking dual citizenship and votes for the Democrat Party.

In retaliation the far right is considering development of legislation to protect workplace bullying and tax cuts for the hard-pressed uber-rich.

Moderates are seeking to expand the bill of rights to seek fair and balanced law enforcement defending political opponents of special protections for special classes of citizens from economic deletion retaliation for using political free speech.

The left is seeking federal protection to prevent discrimination against workplace use of marijuana and XTC, illegal aliens without voter I.D. at polling places, drunk driving, raving news media. Ground breaking work to ban mention of national debt is also in the works by left and right major bipolar parties.

How Similar is the History of Ancient Rome and the U.S.A.

Each nation originated with yeoman farmers forming the backbone of an Army of freemen defending what would become a Republic. Over time the strong hands on farmers egalitarian social and political standing became diminished by concentrated wealth and landed gentry. The main occupation of Americans was farming until the 20^th century and one could be describing the preponderant facts of Rome as well including that of the Republic.

Rome needed to rely on foreign proscription after a time as the farmers and volunteers had faded away and the U.S.A. has shifted to a very expensive volunteer army outsourcing support services to contractors with global employees from Nepal to the Philippines.

Rome developed public debt and provided bread and circuses to the urban plebian class.  The United States provides food stamps and professional sports even if on T.V. Ancient Rome’s concentrated wealth upper class of the Republic became too preoccupied with making money to fully fund the war to defeat Hannibal who later invaded nearly to Rome before being stopped. The United States during the Clinton years didn’t continue support for Afghanistan development allowing a civil war to develop with an eventual attack by Osama Bin Laden’s Al Qa’eda on New York City with a narrow miss on the nation’s capitol thanks to intervention of divine grace (some Christians and other passengers rushed a suicide bomber’s aircraft cockpit making the plane crash prematurely).

Ancient Rome’s leaders became decadent. The stories of Transalpine Gaul’s Roman estates and their luxury are legendary-while the restive masses of Germans and others outside were not adequately recognized. Ordinary Romans tended to emulate the decadence of their leaders not uncommonly when the libations could be afforded along with pagan debauchery. America’s role model Hollywood leadership class is renowned for its moral depravity and the President has supported ingressing homosexual empowerment and legal dope smoking. The state of Washington has a movement to allow dope smoking in bars. Not quite the opium dens of China though there is no Boxer rebellion in the offing either.

The ancient Roman Republic collapsed with a popular civil war leader (Julius Ceasar) defeating a less popular General-Pompey thereby bring the arrival of an Empire. It is not impossible to imagine such an historical development in the U.S.A. one day. Maybe a broadcast media head will be the top dog ruling by decree.

Historical paradigms are not exact models. Instead they are templates for understanding the evolution of social history that may in part recur.

World Chess Championshio Nov. 9th to 28th (Anand vs Carlsen)

The Washington Post reported Snowden File data indicate the N.S.A. hacked Google and Yahoo outside the U.S.A. and outside F.I.S.A. court review. If so, and the N.S.A. denies it, it would be nothing new. Because the Internet is global and moves data around continents over ocean cables at light speed avoiding U.S. domestic protections is easy for spook cable tappers. Its a wealth of data not only on potential terrorists but on all global business communications and private interests using the Internet.

Because politics have partisan bias even in the U.S.A. and government dissimulators are routine the potential for not abusing the insider information is low. At least the N.S.A. will be able to see through all the pseudonymous names on the Internet including those of Kathleen Sebelius.

To Govern Means to Regulate Civil Order

Government is the right application of regulations to civil order. Government regulation effectively means regulatory reform. That’s not fundamentally a question of too many or too few regulations but of the right regulations applied rightly to structure civil well-being.

A philosophy of governing sets social goals and parameters of control for actualizing the optimal state of affairs. A nation or polity is usually a physical region with citizens approving regulations for governing themselves. Most citizens of a democracy would vote if they only knew for parameters that profit themselves and their environment best.

Political wags for some decades have talked about too many or too few regulations as if quantitative easing in either direction would elect good laws to develop social prosperity, security and spiritual health. A good philosophy of government comprises a selection of regulations to moderate the physical economy of the people for their benefit. It does not become the practitioners of the civil economy for-itself as in a communist or socialist system. Neither does it withdraw to become economically isolationist and let the strongest of the roughhouse capitalist dominate the ring as 8 billion pound guerrillas.

Good regulation is cost-effective. Promulgating laws is far cheaper than bui8lduing large capital intensive redistribution organizations. A good political philosopher in office selecting the right regulations for enactment as law is like a musical conductor directing his own composition with the orchestra of small and moderate size business performing the music. Economics is a free spirited sort of improvisation within limits phenomenally that require regulation rather than an anarchic battle of the musicians in a musical clash. One might believes that an invisible hand of evolution will generate the perfect economic balance after planetary apocalypse and perhaps it is so. I have felt that it is better to use intelligent design rather than the blind forces of evolution to move the privileged urban meatheads toward fair and balanced economic excellence for all.

Obamacare unfortunately is a synthetic attempt for government to operate and ossify a large business activity substituting compulsory participation for a competitive excellence attracting customers. It’s as if the government didn’t like the costs of computer technology so they created an affordable computer act requiring all computer sales and purchases in the U.S.A. go through the government. That’s a fundamentally wrong step for providing affordable health care or computers. Inevitably the free capitalist providers will find a way to make that mandatory civil participation an opportunity for maximum gouging.

There is an argument to be made for government being a substantive provider in some circumstances where the people aren’t able to provide for or defend themselves. An expanded V.A. system to well treat veterans that also treated America’s poor would have relieved hospitals and other providers and ultimately insurance companies and taxpayers from the high cost of the way emergency rooms have historically provided medical care to the poor. If the economy significantly improved fewer poor would eschew affordable free market health insurance and use the government provided V.A. medical structure for emergency treatment.

There is not just one right way to set the mix of regulations for the citizens, business and economy that is right and a few ways that are wrong. There are thousands of ways that would work inclusive of important concerns such as ecosphere, demographics, national security and ordinary quality of life and there are just as many ways that are wrong.

If the American economy today is a leaky cruise ship with a million globalist holes making it slowly sink there are few or none in politics willing to repair the hull while it still could be bailed out. If it is doomed, unlike the Titanic, the wealthy passengers can helicopter away from the top deck yet that is small comfort to those that can’t and yet remember when traveling even on the lower decks wasn’t so bad.

U.S. government policy to support Syrian rebels has led to attacks by Sunni rebels on Syrian Christian towns. The U.S. government ought to be ready to accept as political refugees to the U.S.A. Snowden Files and the China Shoe Drop

With the revelation that the U.S. governments, N.S.A. has spied on the phone calls of foreign heads of state for many years, including those of American allies the concern has arisen that U.S. national security is being damaged. In the case of Germany and other friends it is U.S. relations that are being damaged rather than national security. Germany was no threat of attack on the U.S.A. In the case of China, we are waiting for that other shoe to drop.

 Initially Edward Snowden fled with his intelligence files to China where he may or may not have given Chinese agents a copy. We tend to think not, for he was not given permanent residence in that communist nation whereas in Russia, he was. If the U.S.A. has been spying on the private phone calls of the Premier and politburo officials providing wikileaks with that data would damage U.S. national security. Make no mistake, only Chinese Communist Party officials have the right to secretly listen to the phone calls of Chinese communist leaders and any other dangers to the people of China.

If the evil Dr. Fu Manchu is plotting to take another billion dollars from foreign investors without paying taxes the Chinese leadership needs to know to try to slip the noose over the malefactor. If the seventh son of Charlie Chan has invented a poof gun disappearing targets into another dimension the Red Army has to have it first. His brother is said to be on Egypt's terrorist watch list for operating a financial provisioning organization supporting the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood movement. President Obama also supports Sunni revolution in Syria that would probably be as Democratic as the Morsi Government was in Egypt.

Anti-wimp Coaching for Internet Newbies

News reports of suicides by youth after abuse from internet trolls are common enough these days. The response has been on an anti-bullying axis instead of anti-wimp coaching. The former tends to increase government power and the latter that of individuals. Coaching individuals new to the internet to withstand and successfully fend of troll attacks is probably a better course to pursue.

Those new to the Internet discover a planetful of communications they are not familiar with from the neighborhood. Often they go unprepared into cyberspace and experience direct personal attacks and public smears by trolls or anonymous posters. Newbies don’t know how to filter out those messages and are shocked by the public smears. I encountered that a lot at the now defunct N.P.R. Your Turn Discussions arena in 1999-2005. I got a lot of experience at posting political opinions in an unregulated frontier forum. Personal attacks are a characteristic of not only the left, but of the far right as well, though more so the left. Some do not know that it’s o.k. to criticize politicians and political policies but not individual citizens for expressing their criticism. The mob mentality is to stifle any dissent or alternative concepts with personal attack on citizens.

Internet trolls come in many political colors. There is a cornucopia of reasons why human beings given free communications access send deprecatory messages to others. For one thing it’s a juvenile trait. Another good cause is emulation of the wise-guy broadcast media. Internet coaching needs to arise to brief youth and other newbies on the facts of Internet use so they don’t need to mature through the hard knocks of personal experience that is too common, time-wasting and really ubiquitous for public forum users without filter control.

In a former era instead of political advocacy for protection from bullying an American response would have been to ‘Just say no to trolls’. Like those that interrupt a house painter from going about his phenomenal application as directly as possible Internet trolls disrupt writers and other posters from executing their personal interests without the trolling sort of generic personal attacks that are mass produced spam quality expressions of inferiority.

Free speech is the vital social blood of a democracy bringing competition of ideas to produce the best social results possible. Oppression of free speech through personal attacks amounting to a denial of services (the service of expressing one’s ideas for the public good) attack ought not to be tolerated. Standardized procedures for defending against personal attacks should be common in Internet forums such as Facebook. It is difficult to defend against mass communicated slanders and challenging too to defend against Internet dissing, yet coaching of Internet users to the facts of life would at least arm newbies with the knowledge of the nature of the beast.

Lawyer-Presidents have developed a somewhat bad reputation for ethics since Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton to that President Obama has continued. Pursuit of disputatious legal points with minimalistic political competence may be a fact of life for Presidents with experience in law and little besides.

The Obama administration fogged the French government's unhappiness with that as best they could.
