 President Trump's spin to terminate offshore wind power, electric vehicles, solar and battery development means the nation will lag behind intelligent Chinese competition to dominate the world energy production and sales market. Offshore wind farm development was set to produce 56,000 jobs by 2030. 

Poor trade relations with the BRIC nation also means the U.S.A. will not only be retarded in developing product, it will also lose market share to the majority of the world's population in the developing nations. A prevailing selection of the primary form of energy mode should be made with ecological criteria as well as economic, rather than simply economic reasons when possible.

The wealth of the west is already concentrating. When A.I. runs everything in a decade or two, those that own the A.I. will be a vanishingly tiny, few plutocrats.  Apparently the Ukraine war will continue on to roll over into 2026.  Zelensky and Putin have antipathetic goals and are talking past one another. N.A.T.O. members preponderantly want to occupy Ukraine with proxies regardless of how the war concludes in order to make it an advanced base for potential future military engagements. President Trump hasn't a wood for the trees forest gumption to stop selling weapons to Ukraine in some form because of potential proplits. That decision is decisive, enabling Ukraine to hang on with the illusion they have a chance to fulfill N.A.T.O. goals of making Ukraine something like a Non-Official-Agent (NOC) of N.A.T.O. given certain defense assurances from N.A.T.O.; having things their way like a vast, sumptuous mountain of Whoppers. 

The final denouement of the conflict, if not nuclear war, may be Russian military forces finally stopping at the Dnepr with extreme global tension the zeitgeist, on the brink of World War Three, with a cease-fire agreed to by both sides (three or four sides including Donald Trump and N.A.T.O.-Europe) settling nothing. That would be comparable to the armistice at the end of World War One between Germany and the allies, that set the machinery for W.W. Two into motion.  The planet’s ecosphere is somewhat endangered. In fact an algorithm designed to measure it’s condition found that 60% of the world’s ecosphere is in critical condition. I should note that there is a substantial percent of Christians that sometimes entertain and antipathetic eschatological viewpoint leading some to devalue the planet, in the belief that a new Earth will be created if and when the present Earth is destroyed with most of the population in a battle known as Armageddon. The percent may be as high as 35% of believers with the pre-tribulation point of view. They also tend to be more fundamentalist and conservative and somewhat reliable Republican voters.

I am Christian yet am not a pre-tribulationist. I believe that the tribulation of the Bible mostly applied to the destruction of Jerusalem with a million dead Jews in 70 A.D. So I am a post-tribulationist. My viewpoint is called partial preterism. That point of view is that some of the events regarded as end times have already occured.

So rather than abandoning concern for the world in expectation of a new one, many Christians believe that stewardship of the ecosphere is a responsibility like any other Christians may have regarding worldly affairs; do as best as one knows to do no harm and pursue God's will and the good so far as possible. The semi-sophistry of the pre-tribber's viewpoint may be regarded as a form of modern gnosticism enabling resource exploitation for profit in disregard of the harm to the ecosphere and the general well being of mankind. Internet Dating, Epistemology and the Cartesian Metaphysical Doubt

I imagine developing a relationship for three months with someone on the Internet. I thought about that this morning. One just writes without talking on the phone or doing video chat. This may be a circumstance that develops on internet dating sites occasionally. What would it be like if the relationship suddenly was enfiladed as an unreal one? One might experience a feeling of deep loss, as if grieving, if one had loved the person.

That scenario is a paradigm for considering in one of my philosophical areas of interest named epistemology; knowing what and how one knows. The emotional attachment one may develop over time may form a strong bond and could overcome subjective logic and judgment concerning the certainty one may have of it being actual rather than false via deceit. Credulity must be a function or derivative of love to a significant extent, for remote relationships. One may ask how it is possible that someone can love another whom they cannot even verify as being real, rather than an imposter? 

It brings up the point about certainty and the odds for certainty and belief; if one is less than 100% certain they aren’t being deceived in a relationship regarding the real identity of the other, how can a subject have love for another, yet they do?  Does a cold percentile evaluation calculating the probability of the other being genuine, with logical analysis, stand a chance against emotion? Additionally, if one is 90% sure (or of the opinion) that the identity of the other is genuine is that even meaningful when it seems as if 100% certainty (or 99% more properly) should be requisite for love? 

Entertaining probabilities about something being the actual state of affairs is different than love of someone regardless of the improbability of it being a valid, assumption about the reality of a state of affairs, being the actual state of affairs. A relationship and uncertainty of identity of another may bring one to that position that is analogous to the Cartesian metaphysical doubt. I think, therefore I am, was all Descartes could be certain of. In the case I have illustrated one can only be certain of personal existence, and the others, partially- if one knows the other isn’t an artificial intelligence, yet one can't be certainty of anything else about the other. Sometimes things that are probable yet aren't empirically verifiable need to be taken on faith, even if one may be wrong. 

One could not exist in ordinary life in a reasonable way if one insisted on verifying the certainty of everything that exists before acting. Instead on has implicit assumptions about reality and acts on the probabilities of empirical concerns being valid unless proven otherwise, or at least given reason to have substantial doubt about the reality of a select portion of experience. 

There was one subtle point that is a little elusive to capture concerning the analogy of the metaphysical doubt. It brought me to consider alternate points such as the comparison of the Cartesian metaphysical doubt to the uncertainty of the actual nature of being that is perceived with the senses, knowing that quantum mechanics are involved and that one is interacting with some sort of quantum fields that seem to make the appearance of a real world- a solid world, exist for one experiencing it.

3I/ATLAS Will Be Closest to Earth on the December 19th

 The mysterious 28 mile rock approaching the sun at a speed making it the fast object in the solar system is also emitting a lock of CO2- an anomolously high 8 to 1 ratio of CO2 to H2O. National Guard in Chicago to Reduce Crime and Bully the Homeless as a Substitute for Peace in Ukraine

 President Trump plans to deploy the National Guard in Chicago in the near future in order to cut down on felony crime. He also plans to remove the homeless, yet the federal government should at least offer free relocation services with some legal place for the homeless to go if they want. The homeless may already be at their wit's end and don't know where else to go besides the mean, dirty, neo-toxic streets of an inner city. 

Politicians like to solve one problem while creating another. Politicians tend to triage problems and solve those most valuable to themselves first while discounting the problems they create as externalities. The superior politician (borrowing a Confucian term here lol) solves two problems simultaneously; creating none. 

The President may want a distraction from his flip flop on Ukraine peace policy to one supporting continuing Western expansion of N.A.T.O. toward Russia's borders. Securing the globe for the increase of the rich and plutonomy can begin at home though, if it isn't working so well in Ukraine.

It would be wrong for the nation to be too callous in its treatment of homeless U.S. citizens. The homeless lifestyle isn't as secure or comfortable as that which the President and his social mileau enjoy at Key Largo. The violent crimes reason for the deployment is sufficient. Twenty eight thousand violent crimes in 2024 was a lot for one year and one city and of course there are other felony crimes besides violent ones the deployment of National Guardsmen may be able to serve to reduce quantitatively.

Chicago has roughly a half a million illegal aliens living there. The National Guard may filter out some of those numbers of an internal proletariat and relocate them, yet it is the lawful homeless of concern. The poor shouldn't be trampled on by the advantaged yet neither should they foul the streets and security of those living there. If President Trump doesn't wish to be remembered as something like a cold-blooded billionaire mo'fo trying to bring plutonomy to a city near you, while bull-shipping about ending the Ukraine War and cutting taxes for the rich he will need to find a more compassionate conservatism in regard to the nation's homeless population. For a poor American to have no legal place to exist- even to breathe or sleep, in addition to being difficult, is a circumstance imposed by a state that is wicked and being upgraded for the benefit of AI, robots and those that own them; It is an existential threat to human existence.

 President Trump's peace effort with the Ukraine war seems to be failing and instead is leading toward nuclear war. Reportedly the administration is working on security guarantees for Ukraine making them an informal ward of N.A.T.O. providing the full package of weapons, cash, foreign forces etc. President Putin has visited his country's strategic nuclear war development center and informal reports indicate that nuclear war may follow Ukrainian missile attacks on Russian cities and other targets deep inside the nation.

President Trump appears to be another stooge of those forces that control White House puppets of the Deep State. The threat of assassination may be what the President fears. Trump's Method with Ukraine- Become a New and Improved Joe Biden?

 President Trump made a statement today that Ukraine can't win just being defensive. He said offense is necessary to win a war. He also blamed the Biden administration for putting restrictions on Ukraine's use of U.S. missiles. Donald Trump is all over the place, illogically in flip flopping about concerning the Ukraine war and America's political position on it. THe President president may  not mind playing Russian roulette on starting World War Three yet there are some voters that do care.

The President is wrong about a great defense not being able to win a Super-bowl anyway. The Baltimore Ravens did that with Trent Dilfer  (a game manager) as Q.B. in a rather lackluster offensive show- the defense was that good and could force turnovers; defense can score too thought fumble returns, interceptions, touchbacks and otherwise achieving great field position for anemic offenses. One might consider Vietnam's defense against the US led attack on Northern forces, and the Afghan Taliban attack on Coalition forces, or the insurgent attack on U.S. and Coalition forces in Iraq, to ask if defense against a superior enemy occupying a nation cannot be successful. A reality check should lead one to prefer a peaceful actual outcome of a war, rather than a nominal one leading to further post-settlement conflict. Russia is not a local insurgent force either. Perhaps he expects a division size charge of the light brigade from Ukraine upon Russia.  Trading head blows with American weapons on Moscow and Petersburg etc will not lead to a good outcome for the U.S.A. perhaps; Boston , D.C. and San Francisco might be targets of retribution eventually- when all hell breaks loose.

Recent analysis have discovered that China is surpassing the United States in the development of power required to support the needs of artificial intelligence development.  Few politicians have good sense about the global environmental challenges to day and the way a transformation to a sustainable economic based in environmental economic principles is required to sustain human rather than artificial life on Earth. One might hope for a leader able to walk and chew gum at the same time, yet such hopes are never fulfilled. Perhaps the greatest challenge for the United States is how to engineer a President and Congress that can realistically address those major challenges of a new energy grid, a better, more effective space transport technology, making water through evaporation on condensation on a vast scale in canals along the Mexican border, adapting the economy to harmony with the requirements for a healthy and even thriving global ecosphere without ongoing atmospheric heating and mass species extinction, securing the nation’s borders, structuring universal basic income for all citizens to allow realistic adaptation to challenges of occupational obsolescence and exploitation by corrupt industries and actors of capitalism in the effort to renew the United States as a great, leading, beneficial nation able to compete successfully in economics with China in the future.

China has an interesting AI problem of success putting people out of work.  With 800-900 million workers needing a basic income to stay alive the challenges for development of relevant occupations for humans in the new economy of AI and robots within a competitive global economy will be interesting to observe; can they get it right the first time?

Macron and Merz; Mini-Napoleon and Mini-Hitler Fear-Mongers?

 Approximately near Poland's eastern border, the 23rd longitude east is a good, non-threatening demarcator for troops from countries once commanded by Napoleon and Hitler. If Merz and Macron would keep their military forces well away from that line or passing beyond the Carpathian mountains Russia should be far less threatened by Western military encroachment. Ukraine is on the Russian side of the Carpathians and is called the borderlands historically, for good reason.

It is disquieting to have the return of militarism with France and Germany after the end of the Cold War. Macron is something like Napoleon and Merz more than a little like Adolph Hitler, yet of course without a semblance of charisma. One might wish they were not aggressive and assertive regarding Ukraine, as they are, as if it is a play-ground for the west and a field testing lab for western military weapons.

I need stipulate that Ukraine is nothing like Formosa/Taiwan strategically. The Communist Chinese might like that island nation with a history of independence to be theirs, yet like the Falkland Island in relation to Argentina, it isn't like to happen except through a slow evolution as China and Taiwan have peaceful and prosperous futures working together. Unification is a possibility though not a necessity.

German militarism is always a latent, recrudescent possibility- as is that of France, when they believe the time is opportune. Because President Trump isn't assertive enough publicly in his quest for peace, and not strong or eloquent enough to speak publicly about the proper role of N.A.T.O. with American support in defending Europe, delusional fears about Russia posing a threat to Europe have been present since the Obama administration.

The Cold War 35 years ago yet there were some that continued to fear the Soviets and Russia and sought expansion and takeover of the power vacuum vacated by the Soviets.  Russia obviously would rise in time after reorganization of government and economics from a communist to a free enterprise basis. It would reasonably expect to emerge as the former Russia with most of it's possessions intact- including Ukraine. It did not expect to retake places occupied by the Soviet Red Army during the final years of the Second World War and made part of the East Bloc Warsaw Pact.

The West and the United States are quite well able to defend Europe from a non-existent threat of a Russian assault. It is challenging to envision Russian marine skydivers parachuting from 15,000 feet in numbers sufficient to capture England, or to imagine Russian commandos storming over the Alps any time soon with the skill of General Suvorov in escaping Western forces going over the Alps. It is true that Russians are capable of hitting Poland if the poles were asleep and fearful enough to stay deep in bunkers hoping passing Russian tankers would not notice them yet that seems improbable. Jews at least would put up stiff resistance as they did to the Nazis in the Warsaw ghetto during W.W. 2.

Russian knows that a general war would follow an invasion of Western Europe and that their casualties might exceed those the Nazis inflicted during world war 2- perhaps 20 to 40 million dead, with devastated cities, and the west is aware that nukes might be involved and more than a billion people globally would perish from famine and pestilence such as can exist in a mass produced, interlocked global economic sphere. Russians are not really as stupid as Europeans seem to believe they are. The problem exists in European imagination and the wish to have military power over Russia via Ukraine. It is a major stumbling block for the European leadership psyche apparently. Without European and American support Ukraine would already have returned to being Russian.

It is time now for at least President Trump to be realistic knowing that Europeans and the puppet President of Ukraine Zelensky aren't. Just say know to war and accept the fact that peace is better. The west need trust and welcome Russia fully into the global economy. One day it could be a full part of a tax free American-European-Russian trading block.
