President Trump's Bet on Both Sides of Ukraine War Won't End It

President Trump seems to hedge his bets on Russia and Ukraine in order not to be on the losing side. While halting the vast billions and billions transferred to Ukraine during the Biden years MR. Trump still lets important weapons tech with A.I. go to Ukraine- recently providing 50 million dollars worth of A.I. chips to upgrade drones to A.I. piloting, and letting Elon Musk provide Starlink guidance for attacks in Russia. President Trump has also increased sanctions on Russia. Those actions all serve to prolong the war.

Ukraine appears to be planning an attack on the Crimean Peninsula soon and has started by destroying bridges to cut of military and fuel supplies in and out of the area. Ukraine is also attacking Russian oil refineries with western designed missiles and some like Britain’s Storm Shadow provided directly. With media reinforcement of Ukraine’s military position and the Democrat Party’s notion of ‘being on the right side of history’ (the winning side-In your heart you know war is right) the forces necessary for escalating the war through mutual destruction of infrastructure are increasing.

If Russia is in someway reduced to a position nearing defeat it is not impossibly they will use nukes upon European sponsors of the Ukraine war and Kiev too. Russian leadership is scheduled by Europe for arrest and conviction with life sentences for war crimes. That paradigm to may influence Russian leadership to opt for the extreme nuclear option of attacking Europe with dozens of nukes while just France and Britain retaliate- or perhaps just France. The United States may remain neutral in that configuration rather than invoke the M.A.D. nuclear exchange for Russia for N.A.T.O.’s sake.

President Trump can end the war fairly quickly and more or less securely only by restoring ful normal economic relations with Russia- ending all sanctions, and ceasing any kind of weapons tech transfer to Ukraine paid for by taxpayers. President Reagan might have had the courage and intelligence to take that bold step, President Trump would rather hedge his bet with a little on each side in the hope that war’s end will pay off with a windfall proplit.

Logically though the conflict is not one of good nature or well meaning people. It is a contest supported by international media propaganda with pure political and economic power attrition. The attrition is tragically wasteful. Even so ending the conflict will require an 800 lb gorilla to join one side or the other fully.

Joining the Ukraine side simply produces protracted conflict. President Biden tried that already.  America hasn't put any sanctions on Ukraine. Ukraine still can't win. Meanwhile America is losing business opportunities with Russia and forcing the world to choose between BRICS and the U.S.A. That too is harmful to U.S. interests. Unlimited war with Russia escalates to M.A.D. nuclear policy wherein everyone on Earth is a loser.

Joining the Russian side of the tug of war can end the conflict with Russia and Ukraine; dividing Ukraine along the Dnepro River with assurances given all around about neutrality for Ukraine within at least 30 miles of the river banks.

President Trump Could Defund Ukraine War and It Would Stop Sooner

Dividing the global economy is not in America's interest. There is no winning scenario developing western hegemony over Russia through annexing formerly Russian Ukraine entirely to the west's puppet and expanding N.A.T.O right up to Russia- it is instead the most stupid plan available. Pres. Trump can end the war by stopping America's war against Russia through the Ukraine puppet dictator.

Melania Trump could tell her husband to stop funding the war then peace could break out and issues of displaced persons would be easier to resolve. Raising the issue of misplaced war orphans now is a smokescreen for war mongers that want support from the American public to continue it. They make too much money on it. Cold warrior politicians for moving N.A.T.O. eastward never die; they just fade into Ft. Knox.

Western Leadership May Always Be Recalcitrant About Truthful Peace Negotiations for Ukraine

President Trump needs to resist calls from war mongers to place sanctions on Russia or restore weapons supplies to Ukraine.  My opinion for years was that Russia should share Ukraine with the Western government of Ukraine, dividing the country roughly along the Dnepr. So far Russia has failed to accomplish that goal while the west has been pure war mongering full-war ahead oriented toward Eastern military movement.

Russia will not capitulate to attack;they took a beating from the Nazis and kept on ticking like Duracell batteries until they reached Berlin. President Putin has more modest goals, and capturing land that rightly should belong to Russia along the East Bank of the Dnepr is probably so far as that goes. The sooner Russia accomplishes that objective the sooner the war can end. No amount of PR grandstanding or conniving and levering will get that done.

The West seems to be happy itself to continue the war, so long as the U.S.A. and Russia pay for it. President Putin is not crazy to resist having modern Russia be converted into a rump state intimidated by the West and its queer values that concentrate wealth to global elites while letting the global ecosphere decay. President Trump may be drowning in cries from Western leaders to throw more bombs and missiles into the pot of Ukraine, and that would be hard to hear. He may have no supportive international allies that share a rational point of view on the conflict with him.

If the west agrees to simple terms after the Russians accomplish primary goals with Ukraine and N.A.T.O. President Putin should sign off on peace readily I would think. The West needs to demilitarize Ukraine except for an adequate self defense force de frappe, eliminate all sanctions, demands for reparations etc and recognize full Russian sovereignty over it's occupied lands of East Ukraine.

Most likely the West will always be disingenuous with Ukraine negotiations as they want simply to own everything in it and perhaps the entire world too. hey will assure the worst possible outcome short of nuclear war and won't sue for peace until they feel threatened by Russian encroachment. It isn't that Europeans can't fight- they can, its just that few are stupid enough to fight an unnecessary, unprofitable war except with other countries lives and treasure. Becoming recondite and truthful is something one cannot expect. P.R. B.S. always follows the clownish negotiating positions they put forward publicly. That is a problem that people that believe they have absolute power and have no reason to make concessions of an sort are bound to have.
