West Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent a combined 1600 drone and missile attack on Moscow to prevent the election of a new parliament during a couple of days this weekend. He destroyed a warehouse and oil processing facility yet most of the remainder of drones and missiles were destroyed by Russian air defense. Zelenskyy also announced opening of his second 40-day plan to degrade Russian willingness to continue its special military operation against West Ukraine.
West Ukraine hasn't had a Presidential or Parliamentary election since 2019. Polish Prime Minister Tusk said Ukraine is losing 27,000 soldiers killed and wounded every month. Zelenskyy might lose an election if one were held. The United States lost 54,000 dead in the entire decade long Vietnam conflict, and a large anti-war protest and political movement developed. Ukraine's population under Zelenskyy's power is reportedly just 25 million.
