U.S. Options for Afghanistan After the Massacre

The recent tragic massacre of many Afghan civilians by an American Army Staff Sergeant on his 4th combat tour in several years provides an opportunity for the United States to review its options in disposing of the problem nation hell-bent on terrorism at home and abroad.

http://www.voanews.com/english/news/US-Officials-Worry-Afghan-Killings-Will-Fuel-Anti-American-Sentiment-142305395.html

We may commiserate with the terror of war-the Afghans experienced slaughtered at three in the morning. Certainly some Americans experienced that in 2001 when Taliban supported terror forces attacked the U.S.A. It is a consequence of Afghanistan’s former political leadership and present failure to adjust to social reality. In protracted conflict war crimes-often crimes of passion or madness, occur. The better way to avoid that sort of thing is to avoid promoting conflict to start with. In the future Afghanistan may experience more of that rather than none. They are not a sovereign power, rather they are an occupied foe that the United States must dispose of in as compassionate and merciful a way as is consistent with Christian principles of charity, mercy and goodness.

The United States in the 1980s built up the Afghan resistance force with arms and advising support in their war against the Soviets then abandoned the country after the Soviets left. Of course in the vacuum of power chaos and civil war developed and the Taliban that had formed during the exile in Pakistan took over with the help of their Saudi and foreign support that remained such as Osama Bin Ladin. The United States should have got involved then as well.
By the time of the World Trade Center attack the Afghanistan civil war was not yet over. The Northern Alliance held a valley in the extreme Northeast of the country. The C.I.A. with Gary Berntsen formed an alliance with those people and began rolling up the Taliban with sometimes with the use of BLU-72 very large conventional bombs (except for the dud that might have killed Osama Bin Ladin at Torah Bora that let him escape to Pakistan.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Berntsen

Reasonably one might expect a new civil war to resume in Afghanistan after the U.S.A. exits in 2014. This time the U.S.A. should create defensible enclaves in a federalized Afghanistan that would allow the Northern alliance to survive in protracted civil war against the Taliban should the Taliban take over much of the rest of that nation.

The fact that several Afghanistan 'partners' have called for the trial of the Staff Sergeant in Afghan courts demonstrates the incomprehension of the Afghan people of their lack of any right to try members of the occupation force in their nation. The U.S.A. is in Afghanistan under the articles of war upon a foe and would not yield any legal jurisdiction to the occupied power. With such ignorant expectations in Afghanistan it is easy to anticipate that after the U.S. forces leave the country will swiftly resume civil war and if then Taliban emerges to win and then supports new terrorist activities a second U.S. intervention under new management may return to experiment with anti-terrorist interdiction.

One might like the U.S.A. to better understand the way that moral and social structures form in relation to economic structure. That failure is a general social failure common in the era. It is worth recollecting that social sciences developed later than hard sciences and are an ongoing project.

Afghanistan is not an unimportant player in the historical evolution of Eurasia. It is close enough to China's Xinjiang province that is itself at the top of an upward sloping funnel from the broad Chinese lowlands. Numerous ethnic minorities live at the top of the world finding a harsh living amidst deserts and great mountain ranges and passes. It is not impossible that Chinese military forces may travel that way some day to meet with destiny at the battle of Armageddon. Well, even so, for the present future terrorism, resistance to the Chinese authority, ethnic aspirations for independence and Moslem religious conflicts with godless atheists may form along with controversies about developing mining interests are possibilities that accentuate the perennial problems of political instability in Afghanistan.

Afghanistan-a poor nation that aspires to become a Taliban led exporter of terrorists to points all over the globe, has a challenging historical evolution cycle ahead of it. Certainly Americans are unwilling to invest more cash into developing that nation toward peaceful prosperity. It is of course unreasonable to expect Afghanistan to become like the United States-they can't afford it and the United States emits half of the greenhouse gases from cars and is the source of much of the perverse aspects of modern 'liberalism'.

The U.S. administration should quit being a pusillanimous power and recognize the facts of life in Afghanistan as if they really are in control of their own destiny their generally. They cannot rely on Kofi Annan to arrive and organize the resistance, as he seems to be trying to do in Syria, into one fighting force unified in order to negotiate with the government. Mohammed Karzai may be expected to become a dictatorial warlord after the United States exits who will become locked in battle with the Taliban while the Northern Alliance gradually shifts back to more defensible grounds outside of Sunni power and distrust.

One Formula for Bringing the Heat Death of Human Life on Earth

Of all of the chemical formulas that have been created to destroy human life, the most commonly used by that of burning ethane in fossil fuel burning automobiles to produce carbon dioxide and water.

CH3CH2OH + 3O2 ---> 2CO2 + 3H2O

Two average cars emit about 9 metric tons of carbon dioxide into the air annually. Global warming deniers must do so in order to stick their heads in the sand and rely on gasoline and automobiles for economic power.

Vested interests are unwilling to adapt to the increasing prospects for the heat death of a world climate suitable for human life on Earth.

About the Philosophy of American Meatheads

The post-modern philosophy of atheist meatheads for-themselves is a product of post-Darwinist educational developments and John Deweyianism plus a little B.F. Skinner behavorialism thrown in to the mix that renders virtually any though fundamentally meaningless and phenomenal.

When meaning is reduced to 'just the transmission of the genes' (that requires heterosexual 'marriage' of sperm and egg) and life experience is an abstract drive of deterministic biological requisites the mind and its contents are largely considered superfluous. Meathead theorists of politics believe that liberalism means the complete waveform collapse of rationalism into meaninglessness.

Liberalism of course did not advance by meathead philosophers seeking after nothingness but control by behavioral scientist-politicians. The Prophet Isaiah wrote of liberals in chapter 32 of Isaiah and the founders of numerous societies have sought after liberty. Their work and thought was actualized in the social dialectical realm that one might term 'the real world' even if it is a contingent construction of numerous points of view of personal experience.

The metaphysics of reality for-itself are rather complex. People have thought about it for several millennia, From Zhu Xi in 12th century China to Parmenides, Heraclitus and on to the 18h and 19th century German idealists the investigation of mind and its place in nature was subject to intense intro and extrospective thought. And yes, I cannot reasonably fail to mention Rene Descartes.

The modern foundation of analytic philosophy might be traced to Immanuel Kant and his Critique of Pure Reason and condensed version Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics that was summarized, synthesized and improved later by Arthur Schopenhauer in his 'Fourfold Roots of Reason'. That work is something like a great first half of a movie that one realizes is followed by a second half that is anti-climactic.

Bertrand Russell believed that atheists could live with strong moral principles even with the absence of faith in God. Russell seems something of an idealist innocent in retrospective comparison to post-modern American meatheads. The post-modern meat-heads have collapsed the idea of the possible value of moral principles too in their general stampede toward meaninglessness. What value might any natural laws or social morality present in language or logic flowing from human thought that could possess intrinsic extensional value?

This one natural regards Frederic Nietzsche-a kind of hero of the meathead movement, and his magnum opus 'Thus Spake Zarathustra'. If I had a tablet computer it would be convenient to abstract his book in a sketch with some logic symbolic notations added. A man that believes in the eternal recurrence of the Universe is recursively aware of the recurrence. Viewing a city from a lofty hill he disdains the moral structure of the city-civilization as meaningless. If one can view any society from a scientific detachment it is simple enough to regard the morality as phenomenal. Within the society however the moral order is simple a description of what people actual find acceptable in their social interaction, and they must have some interactive protocols by default.

Nietzsche believed that with the mystical insight of the eternal recurrence morality was superfluous and that the superior man would be completely without morality. Therein one finds the attraction by the post-modern meatheads in the common realm of the meaninglessness of morality.

Nazi Germany is sometimes held to have been a consequence of Aryan racial supremacy, yet in the true Neitzschian hierarchy of the amoral superman the Aryan herd appeal was simple a method to gain popular support by the truly amoral leadership running along in what amounts to a de facto ethic of personal egoism. Not even the Neitzschian eternally recurrent superman could appeal to popular support by saying that "I am far better than you cattle as a completely immoral individual, and I deserve your political support so I can ruthlessly exploit you to fulfill my will to power'.

Analytic philosophy developing from Kant through philosophers of logic and language did carefully research the relationships between words and objects and essentially anything that might be said about anything. They did not make words meaningless or purely phenomenal even if they did remove both empiricism and Platonic realism as inevitable parameters of lexicons and word ontology. Self-standing inter-referent lexical sets with meanings deriving from their own parameters, definitions and relations to internal and external referents were elaborated at the high point of 20th century linguistic philosophy by W.V.O. Quine.

One does not reach a meathead dead end with analytic and linguistic philosophy, and even metaphysical speculations are a kind of implicit aspect of cosmological thought today as one contrasts super-string theory, quantum mechanics, and the holographic principle. One might regard the many possible criteria of a transcendent God as the operator of monism yielding an occasional or perhaps infinite number of universes, or consider the phenomenal universe as a solid state physics phenomena generated epistemologically within a purely idealist context in modern terms upgraded from the Three Dialogues of Bishop Berkley.

Isaiah's Use of the Word 'Liberal'

The King James version was translated from the Greek Septuagint about 400 years ago, and the Septuagint was translated from Hebrew by 132 B.C. Isaiah was a prophet of the 8th century, yet some additional writing in the book was probably added as late as the 6th century.

The English translators of the Greek used the word 'liberal' intentionally. It best represented the word in Greek translated by Jewish writers of the Septuagint from their own language.

The word is used in Chapter 32, and I will quote verses 1 through 8 as well as a passage from the New Testament book John 8: 36-45 in order to show the consistency between what Isaiah wrote and what Jesus said close to a millenium later.

Isaiah 32

"1Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

2And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

3And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

4The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

5The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.

6For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

7The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.

8But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand."

John 8:32-38

"36If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

37I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

38I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

39They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

40But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not."

Faith That Rush Limbaugh's Language Evolution Will Become More Conservative

I saw a rather funny political cartoon in a newspaper that had President Obama pushing a wheel barrow of contraceptives up to Ms. Fluke from one side, and on the other stood Rush Limbaugh calling her a slut for taking them. Ms.Fluke stood in the middle looking confused.

Limbaugh often accurately summarizes the broadcast media positions on the left-the recent interpretations of the February employment statistics are a good example with Reuters, CNN, MSNBC, and the Washington Post painting it quite differently than the Gallup Poll the day before looking at non-seasonally adjusted numbers of the unemployed actually rising to 9.1% while the administration just says it stayed the same at 8.3% out of work.

Where Rush Limbaugh does the Republican Party substantial harm is in his environmental opinions that some therefore associate with all Republicans as a pervasive opinion.

Limbaugh did use inappropriate language though, and some conservatives would probably like to roll back language use to something before Lenny Bruce hit the stage and commercial television changed beyond the standards of 'I Love Lucy'.

Zhu Xi (1130-1200).. Indeterminism and Energy

Zhu Xi was one of the better Chinese philosophers of his age, and one of the twelve classic Chinese philosphers of Chinese history. He rightly disdained fractious public service though he passed the highest Confucian civil service examine at the age of 18.

I wanted to point out a few of his ideas that seem relevant today.

He has a metaphysics with Li or nature and its indeterminate status and also energy that is called Chi in Chinese I believe. Zhu Xi also thought that the character of the leader determined the well being of the nation. With four bad Presidents in a row and bad energy policy it is easy to share an opinion that America's Li and Chi are out of phase.

Nature of course has an indeterminate quantum status from a human perspective, although in-itself it is probably part of a monistic field of some sort, and homosexual marriages aren't natural. A national policy with unnatural Li and a fossil fuel Chi or energy policy is one moving toward global warming and perhaps the heat death of humanity except for the 1% that will fly to the moon on special space ships to places with a view built by robots (probably just science fiction thought there).

Zhu Xi was an investigator of things, and would certainly have appreciated Democritus and maybe even Plato if he had known about them. Aristarchus too might have been worth reading for the neo-Confucians of the time.

http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/116573/Zhu-Xi

The Apostle Paul elaborated upon the metaphysics of Jesus Christ, the spirit of God and man's relationship to a transcendent social realm that shares the parameter of applying transcending values to politics and social construction. Zhu Xi of course finds the metaphysical imperative in Li or the quantum mechanical nature of reality, while the Apostle Paul looked toward the Author of the Universal phenomena for-itself.

In either case, regardless of the political criterion we look at of the Song Dynasty or of Imperial Rome and 1st century Jerusalem, human leadership fails to embody the Li or Spirit principle in relating to the transcendent within the secular, empirical world even so far as to select a social environment with a best case energy policy reinforcing the continuum of life on Earth. Without respect for nature and the quantum uncertainty constructed within flowing righteous parameters the Spiritual nature of human society tends to lead toward crashes instead of passing silently through the Berlin Walls of industry, politics and mass extinction through intelligent redesign.

U.S. Unemployment Rate (Non-Seasonally Adjusted) Up to 9.1%

Non-seasonally adjusted unemployment in the United States reached 9.1 % in February the Gallup Poll reported.

While something like 220,000 jobs were created, about 367,000 jobs were lost in the month indicating a continuation of the long term trend of down-sizing and outsourcing to China, India and elsewhere. A fundamental readjustment to capitalism that would cap the number of corporations an individual could invest in at three that might accentuate the advantage toward free enterprise and individuals instead of consolidated concentrated networked wealth for select corporations and individuals probably is recovered for substantial correction. Otherwise the best opportunity might be to get homeland security to import thousand of camels, die them black and patrol the American southwest.

Russia Could Learn From Alaska's Permanent Fund

Russia's Vladimir Putin could take a page from Alaska’s Permanent Fund and establish a multibillion-dollar clump of money to make small annual payments to Russians to assure a measure of political servility. Alaska's Department of Administration invests royalty payments from global natural resource extraction corporations in the market sometimes leaning heavily toward investing in the same global extraction businesses such as oil that in turn assures the state of Alaska will kick back its policies to those businesses. While Russia would need more than the 38.6 billion dollars the Alaska Permanent Fund has, even a trillion dollar fund to make a payment to its citizens once a year could grease compliant political fealty from the Kremlin's subjects.

In the long run it is useful to develop a public government that is paid for largely by global corporations in order to fundamentally be immune from political control by the electorate. The voters instead, being paid off a little go along with the mafia like administration that prefers its own proprietary policies for its preferred employees decade after decade. Such modern corporatism could be helpful for Russian political stability although it is counter-productive to global environmental and alternative to fossil fuel energy interests of the public.

The state of Alaska has no income tax, and that keeps the public and corporations happy enough though it although the government to be largely unaccountable to public will such as might exist if the public had to pay income tax and demanded a more diversified and effective government.Politicians can be elected to serve corporate interests and that of the state. Their political ideologies much be consistent with the continuity of the bureaucratic entity, oil, gas and mining development. Russia to might be able to adapt to corporatist servility and slowly develop and evil extraction industry empire bent toward destroying life on Earth through global warming.

It is a hard fact of life that voters that pay for their government themselves, and who pay for welfare benefits to their non-working fellow citizens would rather have a healthy economy with full employment and civil equal justice, and that voters that do not have little concern if their government is corrupted, decadent or an evil empire with chronically unemployed and a declining economy. Corrupt governments first seek ideological servility from their citizens before income streams are allowed to occur. Even higher educational opportunities may be finessed to extinction.

Mitt Romney Gets Endorsement from Mississippi's Governor

Mitt Romney can use the support of the first term Republican Governor of Mississippi facing a tough election challenge essentially against the tough and determined former Senator Rick Santorum. If Romney can take the conservative southern state it may mean the end of the Rush Limbaugh News Hour (only joking-Rush Limbaugh is gaining sponsors rather than losing them, and he is getting back on track after misspeaking to call a college student testifying before a superfluous congressional committee a 'slut' last weak).

I should point out that Mr. Limbaugh is not uncommonly wrong on environmental issues. Today for instance he called Greenpeace a leftist organization. On that point he is wrong. Rush assumes in error that any organization that does not support erroneous energy and economic supply prioritization (e.g. oil) is leftist. Greenpeace like many scientific organizations is simply objective about a particular range of empirical resource use issues, and would I suppose find any sort of across the world upgrade of human use of resource within any kind of free economic system o.k.

I wondered what it might have been like to visit Europe and see the Mediterrainian basin when it was dry and the strait of Gibraltar closed a few million years ago. It would have been a few hundred degrees at the bottom and in Europe a number of odd creatures not alive today would have trod the odd forests where no humans lived-simply some primates with gleeming eyes indicating a little too much intellect sometime like the way my chess opponent program occassionally plays. Rush Limbaugh and a host of fossil fuel corporations would have been riight at home in that ecosystem advocating with Lenin's fervor for pure materialism and disregard of spirit, intelligence and wise use of resources.

Today the world hasn't so much opportunity to disregard human environmental impact as then. In the Arctic male polar bear are becoming cannibalistic because of a lack of ice and trouble capturing seals now and then eating younger males. Arctic records of the range of ice flow in the Bering, Chuckchi and Barents Sea from whaling records going back to 1850 show a steady shrinking commensurate with space satellite records in recent decades indicating the global warming trend of the ice pack. Far too many political leaders are simply dumb on the issue of human environmental impact and want to ignore the potential hell ahead they are creating for the generations of American youth a century ahead.

American ingenuity and free enterprise can be stifled by large networks of corporate power in a controlled limited access 'marketplace' ranging through numerous time zones. The President has been far too recalcitrant to lead into a reform of capitalism that would liberate free enterprise in the way that Adam Smith liberated free enterprise from aristocratic control. Concentrated wealth and power can stifle free enterprise by the intelligent masses such as exist and stop them from developing ecologically rational economic practices.

Mitt Romney may be the better of conventional politicians able to reform government and make it more effective and less costly. It will probably take a new ecological economic reformer in the post-Romney years (its difficult to say what Rick Santorum would do on government reform-perhaps take a Libertarian approach and cut everything except oil depletion allowances and defense contractor spending?).

Mississippi, Alabama, Hawaii and American Samoa vote on the 13th of March, 2012.

Science of Unethical Upper Classes

Even in politics the upper classes are more unethical than normal individuals. In Alaska both Senators argue for oil development universally while global warming and water pollution develop. Senator Murkowski after losing her Republican primary ran as an independent to get Democratic female voters to put her in then switched back to the Republican Party after winning. Two Democratic Senators ought ton have some ethical awareness of global warming and the loss of wildlife habitat. They are going to resume shooting grizzly and black bear from aircraft near Fairbanks to let more moose grow for human predation.

The Wall Street scams, low low taxes on the rich, globalization; these are unethical policies of the upper classes primarily dooming poor Americans to poverty and the world to mass extinction.

Delicate Re-Election Cycle Timing of Air War in Syria and/or Iran

President Obama is in the midst of a media development for aggressive military action against Syria. It reminds me a little of bold monkeys or baboons becoming more aggressive little by little until transitioning to swarm for attack.

The broadcast media has developed a perennial war reporting cycle evidently seeking to become embedded with whatever forces are out there in 'resistance' or rebellion to some existing political regime that might need to be changed. In the case of Syria I believe the civilian deaths would not have occurred in significant numbers as they are without media fanning flames of conflict that might lead the Sunni rebels to beleive that the United States would eventually send their 'Condor Legion' to kill the violent chickens of the Syrian Government.

In times past American foreign policy might have been more to tolerate the existence of governments that were not at war with the United States-that policy has some things going for it. Yet President Obama has a Nobel Peace Prize and a gay-friendly military in his arsenal so the Moslem Spring becomes a Moslem Year until the election cycle at least (in the U.S.A. for November 2012) with moral and media support for Sunni regime change organizers, military support and the Condor Legion air war in Libya and perhaps a next venture in Syria. There is also the loosely related problem of regime change in Iran, stopping Iranian nuclear weapons development and the possibility that Israel may act directly to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities and not wait while President Obama makes his political calculations on what more war would do for the price of gasoline and his chance of being re-elected.

The Syrian Government may deserve to become kaput for its unlikable characteristic. I am sure it isn't friendly to the tradition of British Imperialism and hasn't much oil or gas worth the time of the Condor Legion (its fun to use that term for a superior air force attacking 2nd world countries although no intention exists to say that the Obama use of American or European Air Power is fascist). The media monkey chatter for war is seemingly on a schedule that would debauche before November 7, 2012-perhaps about May or June since Senator McCain is already asking for air strikes (why couldn't he have been elected in 2008 so these things could have been accomplished more directly some might wonder-even before many civilians were killed by the Syrian Government?).

There is something to be said for a U.S. foreign policy that neither reinforces nor militarily opposes oppressive foreign governments. Perhaps some of those nations might evolve politically with modern technology and change toward a better way for freeing its people. Britain is critical of Russia and it's past, yet reasonable people understand that Britain has an imperialist past and seeks foreign natural resources to enrich itself-and the Russians seem like the biggest potential resource doners about. Here in Alaska the politicians give away natural resources to foreign corporations generally for a fraction of the value in return for being at the head of the trough of payouts that are made, while some of us may go for years without meaningful employment. Billionaires and global networks can be about as repressive to independent and free enterprise by the non-aristocrats as the Chinese Communist Party leadership that might plunder African resources and use rare species for herbal medicines.

In some respects the world is run by technocrats that can't see the woods for the trees pursuing collectively the global heat death of human prospects-but why worry? The prospects for bringing 'democracy' to Syria loom on the spring or Summer 2012 agenda and a Sunni State from Libya to Turkey might be formed that would allow greater transparency for anti-terrorist intelligence to develop and safeguard the potential development of Sharia law in New York to reverse the homosexual marriage laws and get women to cover their faces with some kind of designer rags in order to reverse over-stimulation of the human section of the biosphere.

I believe that the chess term for Syria is en prise-it is a foe piece just sticking out there waiting to be taken. Then of course as an added bonus Iran is just up the hill and unless it keeps its rhetoric down it might need to have its nuclear ambitions demolished while the demolition is good.

A war before the November election actually would be bad for President Obama's re-election prospects so he may wait until after Nov. 7 to send the Condor Legion or European proxies to obliterate Syrian Air defenses and then liberate Damascus thus freeing up Lebanon from the talons of Syrian puppet masters (not the best quality political rhetoric yet I haven much practice at that anyway). The most likely course of events would be to let it rot (Syria and Iran) and just have the media harangue American ears the rest of the year about the blood and the pathos and a journalist or two killed in action.

Real wages for younger Americans reportedly have declined by 11% compared to wages in the 1970s. The national unemployment rate is about where it was during the Carter administration, and President Obama like President Carter has an Iranian problem-even one a little more serious than the hostage taking of 1979. The Iranian nuclear weapons development program seems ready to pop a bomb or two, and Israel may want to try a go at stopping that.

The electorate may want a better, more effective policy such as can be developed in today's environment of political and economic wrong-headedness. President Obama is not a salesman of any sort, unlike President Reagan. The President seems like a stuffed suit political front-man for economic handlers that is just a time consumer liked by some insiders that are well-off. Mr. Obama does have his blackness going for him to get a few votes from the anti-white set, yet as a spoiler doing more for the economic forces of the ancien regime than to advance a new economic way in the U.S.A. he seems to do more harm to actual economic reformation than good.

The United States has many advocates for despoiling the nation's underground water reserves with fracking chemical to produce natural gas that leaves methane as a residual that is a virulent greenhouse gas worse than carbon dioxide. The nation is full of existential technocrats and corrupt broadcasters keeping the economic paradigm stupid and exclusive of Americans even while illegal aliens pile in to take jobs and demand citizenship.

Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum may have a radicalized situation to address in Syria and Iran when one or the other takes office in January 2014 that Mr. Obama has left behind.

The United States in 2012

The U.S. Government has made Orwellian hate crimes legislation a general entry to intervene in politically incorrect crimes upon special classes, given the military the right to exfiltrate U.S. citizens without legal review to unspecified foreign torture facilities where they may disappear forever and has forced corporate medical insurance upon all citizens as well as seeking to force all religious organizations to provide birth control paraphernalia indirectly or through insurers.

Following the attack on the rich in the World Trade Center in 2001 American democracy has been progressively stifled and wealth concentrated with onerous public debt building up along with high unemployment. The rich scorched by terrorist death took out their vengeance upon the poor and middle class of the United States while creating a ubiquitous surveillance state. They have no intention of reforming a version of capitalism in need of egalitarian upgrade.

In a year where the administration compelled homosexual marriages unto the states, military and District of Columbia supporting legislative and judicial imposition of the policy upon the people, and where federal judges have ruled against a California proposition to make marriage just heterosexual and in Arizona and elsewhere the right to verify citizenship of people encountered in routine police stops, the shape of elite federal policy is beginning to take shape in a general direction.

Rush Limbaugh Apologizes for Calling Sandra Fluke a Despicable Name Clumsily as It Were

Saying that he had been fighting the 'absurd with the absurd' for years, Rush Limbaugh apologized for calling a Georgetown law student asking congress for money for birth control paraphenalia 'a slut'. Plainly Mr. Limbaugh did not realize that Ms. Fluke was not in the class of legitimate political targets upon which caustic labels might be more reasonably pinned by talk radio. Sandra Fluke's feelings might have been hurt by the eminence grise of talk radio.

A Juris Doctor degree at Georgetown costs about $23,000 a year before extra fees, books, housing and so forth. Those of us whom are poor are not too sympathetic when the advantaged go before congress asking for money for sex prophylaxis. Nether are we sympathetic with bullying by Government or the broadcast industry. President Obama and Congress should not have sought to force religious organizations to provide free rubbers and birth control pills to the emancipated adult students and other in prime advantaged education circumstances. If they can't afford their own rubbers and such how could they ever balance the federal budget or prioritize government spending outside of a commune, for-themselves?

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/theoval/post/2012/03/obama-vs-limbaugh-money-and-politics/1#.T1KxjoePV_Y

Probably Ms. Fluke has learned something in her legal career about testifying before congress. Senators too sometimes ask for ridiculous things to the forest service or make equivalent pleas for oil depletion allowances. The Congress has learned nothing serious about balancing the budget or creating full employment for the poor, and should hold some new hearings on steroid use by laboratory chimps.

Mesh Networking: An Emerging Alternative to Internet Architecture

Mesh networking may be an emerging alternative to Internet networks with ISPs vulnerable to censorship and disaster. Julian Dibble writes on the technology in the March 2012 Scientific American.

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=the-rise-of-instant-wireless-networks

Mesh networks are in a very beginning phase today. Computer users have their own routers and develop a democratic, peer broadcast architecture that does not go through an ISP. The routers are wireless and cost about $150. The concept of computer users linking directly through a wireless net to other users and only secondarily to the Internet via ISP’s does have quite a lot going for it beside cost savings.

Discrete, independent mesh wireless architecture would let users avoid giving data to mega-corporations and governments such as Facebook, Twitter and the National Security Agency in as great of quantity. There are existing social networks on the Internet that let users store personal data on their computer instead of in ‘the cloud’.

Sects. Albright-Clinton Nuclear Agreements With North Korea 1994-2012

North Korea's dictators historically won the contest to develop nuclear weapons with the Bill Clinton administration. Kim Il Sung signed agreements that took off the heat while providing the Clinton administration with some PR victories and continued to develop nuclear weapons under the table. Kim Jong Il continued the advantage for North Korean weapons development. A couple of days ago the next dictator Kim Jung Un agreed to return to six-party talks in exchange for hundreds of tons of foods continuing the tradition of promising to stop enriching uranium and making plutonium at the Yongbyon facility. That plan worked in 1994 and this new Obama-Clinton administration has signed off again in order to help the young dictator be on good terms with his people as he can provide practical food gifts as well as gain respect for communist authorities.

One might believe that the Obama administration and Sect. Clinton are renewing the ineffective policies of the Bill Clinton years and expanding that paradigm to Iran's weapons program.

Solution Alpha to Female Disconformity in Republicrat Political Conversion

The opportunism of President Obama in developing the woman-contraception problem as a line of attack on American churches and religious organizations for his 2012 political campaign highlights the value of exploiting female differences and unit cohesiveness in contemporary politics. Rush Limbaugh of course blundered in to the fray with intemperate, injudicious language in referring to the Congressional horse and pony show on the availability of rubbers and birth control pills at Georgetown University where tuition must be at least 10 or 20 thousand dollars annually.

Women do have a different economic and political operating system universally, and the sharper politicians exploit that to lever opposition upon their foes with real or imagined premises.
Fundamentally the female problem is equivalent to the software interchangeability of MSWord, Open Office's version of word, Open Office ODT and the export of PDF files. As anyone knows, in version 3.2 and Word 2000 there are subtle yet substantial differences in getting the pages to transfer directly. MSWord insists on having a few extra pages, and some of the header/footer and page break settings are more difficult to transfer from Word to OPWord.

American females establish their political lists and points rather inflexibly putting their spin and biases upon them to which any sort of legal super-structure is extraneous. Female boundary conditions and protocols for header-footer content integrity and page numbering-much less line numbering, are what they are. When a man must use that structure political in a directly equal way transferring the content into Open Office inevitably the page numbers will be all akimbo and the table of contents rather useless. Female versions of word take no regard for male economic structures and allow a fundamental corruption of male economic values and balances when their own female word version is exported unchanged directly in to the more general OPWord.

The feminine worldview in politics is not necessarily comprehensive of the male worldview, though as a majority opinion it can be decisive in determining the direction of American foreign and domestic policy. The United States has had four bad Presidents in a row and the economic status of the nation reflects that fact. The nation has not been willing to elect a single good economic manager in that time capable of reforming business, banking, Wall Street or government
.
Presidents fail upon moral and/or economic grounds in the post-cold war era, and the media is an accelerant upon a consumerist ethos existentially calculated to increase debt and corrupt domestic political effectiveness at assuring full employment, secure borders, stable population, recovering environment and full equal rights of all citizens.

Election 2012: Is the Federal Government More Perverted Than It Was Four Years Ago?

As the 2012 Presidential campaign heats up Americans may be asking themselves if the federal government is more perverted now than it was four years ago. Certainly the profit takers on Wall Street have rounded with a 'jobless recovery', and eight states have gone over to the dark side of the force of homosexual marriage. At least Rush Limbaugh is in the thick of things with controversy glomming on to his radio broadcasts as one expects as howls from Democrats that 'he should be silenced' arise this time over the controversial contraception issue the President created in trying to force Catholic religious organizations to act as agents of President Obama's birth control policy.

For quite a while Mr. Limbaugh has said that the Democrat Party wanted badly to make an issue of Republican opposition to free rubbers and birth control pills for women a political item and that Republicans are not at all in opposition to birth control.

In this Alaska town where half the radio stations are owned by one company there is little alternative to ABC, CBS and Rush Limbaugh, so I sample that show now and then in order to avoid NPR which is about as leftist as one needs to get.

P.S.

Thanks for commenting.. Ronald Reagan said that politics is the second oldest profession and much like the first. President Obama has jumped on the Democratic pile on to attack Mr. Limbaugh for making a rhetorical question about the law student being paid to have sex by the government. That was stretching the point of course, yet government does tend to whore its citizens from military conscription to contraception, abortion and so on. Politicians cut taxes on the rich and tell the poor that taxes should be increased on the rich a little later.

Politicians cut home loan protections on mortgages making houses into ATMs for sale globally to stimulate the economy and get re-elected then let the nation go broke. Politicians are perhaps the most quantitaviely pimping of professions.

President Obama needs to intimidate the non-goose-stepping independent media in order to get re-elected. Then he can bully some other small countries and get weapons delivered to the 'Friends of Syria' or allow more offshore oil drilling after asking for the environmentalist vote. Enough revolutions started and he may get green stamps for purchase of a second Nobel Peace Prize.

Sorry about writing this a little polemically. The President deserves a thesis yet its all disposable anyway. The rich get richer and ...

Today Rush said that the Georgetown law student has so much sex that the government needs to pay for her contraceptives. Law students looking forward to being one day in the Obama class probably ought to pay for their own birth control if they must sleep around like monkeys (what else is law school for?).

Mr. Limbaugh also pointed out that it is actually Democrats that want to limit contraceptive availability. A Missouri state legislator-a woman, has introduced a bill to ban federal support for vasectomy unless the life of the man is endangered. Limbaugh asked if that the back alley vasectomy phenomena will increase when federal support is cut off.

Limbaugh is obviously bad at ecospheric knowledge advocating fossil fuels and oil well drilling even as ocean acidification from global warming is happening faster than ever going back 65 million years. Rush is right about the President's effort to force state control over religious organizations so far as to compel them to act against their well-known religious beliefs and distribute rubbers and birth control paraphernalia through their affiliated organizations or insurers-plainly that is an anti-Christian boundary violation.

That anyone should believe that the most amusing talk-radio personality should be silenced is a sad commentary on the Stalinesque drift of corporate kow-towing, jack-booted demo-partnered corporatism seeking to make every citizen a syncopated raving mutt of global networks of power.

Rush Limbaugh is an advocate for wealth and the interests of the rich and perhaps fears tax increases more than anything else, as his hundreds of millions would be threatened with use in good works creating jobs for the poor. The rich own radio and until it is given over to citizen podcasts in some ultra-modern reformation it will continue to offer very few intelligent commentators.

American political I.Q. is not too hot these days. Even Rush Limbaugh fails to support Mitt Romney much as the President basically gets sufficient tax breaks for the rich and middle class to keep them happy while dumping debt upon youth for tomorrow. If the President is re-elected interest payments each year on the Federal debt may approach 1 trillion dollars annually. Something needs to change.

One can't just ask as a re-election test question; 'Are you more perverted than you were four years ago, and has the President made America more perverted?' It is necessary to ask if one is unemployed if the unemployment rate has dropped enough percentages points to not wish to give someone else a try as President.

Are Penguins Dancing Down the Dodo Trail?

One day when Antarctica's shores warm enough to sustain a little more mammalian life the release of predators upon fllghtless birds may present the penguin with a dodo scenario for extinction.

Sure transplanting polar bear from the Arctic might extend the prospects for that endangered Arctic mammal, yet polar bear too would probably add the penguin population to their seafood plate.

When cats reached the South Pacific dodo days were numbered. One wonders what species-even an arctic lynx might be the predator destined to spice up their menu with the penguin?

Free Political Criticism of Alaska Republican and Democratic Parties

Alaska's Republican and Democratic Parties have the chance to improve their job performance if given sufficient criticism-they don't usually get enough as the public is rather miserly with that so I will share some.

http://juneauempire.com/state/2012-02-29/senate-ponders-aces-changes-house-dems-defend-oil-tax-no-evidence-yet-need-tax

The State legislature is usually concerned about slicing up the oil royalty pie, and on how much to tax the oil companies-Alaskans don't have a state income tax and the 750,000 citizens rely on their legislature and Governor to decide how to pay for the state government and channel the money to the right people.

http://juneauempire.com/state/2011-07-14/parnell-signs-susitna-dam-legislation

When Sarah Palin was Governor she made the state tax policy on oil corporate profits progressive. When the price per barrel increased the state share in taxes increased too. The Present Governor is nothing like that. Governor Parnell is not a chip off the old block at all and seeks to cut oil corporate taxes with the theory that it would increase their production and the increased through-put of state natural resources to global corporations would in some way make up for potential future loss of state oil tax revenue because of diminishing production.

http://juneauempire.com/state/2012-02-29/bristol-bay-mines-bill-hits-senate-committee

Plainly the Governor is in the pocket of big oil and supports off shore drilling. The Governor also supports making the Susitna River drainage a kind of Ruhr Industrial Park with cheap electricity from a future 700-foot tall dam on the upper Susitna to provide cheap electricity 'one hundred years'.

The Governor certainly isn't looking ahead militarily a hundred years. Just one drone aircraft packed with next generation explosives could knock out the dam and plunge the rail-belt people below in the dark-all the way to Anchorage. It would be the first target to hit in event of any future war, and the vulnerability to easy destruction the next century might make the Republican Party even more reliant upon supervision by Chinese industrial consultants that might want to get involved with the ore processing too. Plainly diversified alternate energy accentuating non-state production is a better bet for liberty.

The Governor and the Republicans are sycophants of global corporate interests and fundamentally want to have a monopolistic power authority, consolidated political control totalizing political liberty and reducing competition and no environmental ripples on the oil sheen of Alaska's future. The Democratic Party as the weird sex party at state and national levels have low boundary concerns and just want to hop into one big happy bed as socialist DSKs.

Alaska's diversification is really somewhat illusory in the economic field as the large global corporations fundamentally own the state legislature via both party's competition to get priority at the corporate spigot. No other business is possible besides the corporate mining and oil of course, and even electrical power needs to be an anti-free enterprise state dominated phenomena.

In Washington State in the 50s and 60s a lot of dams were built to produce cheap power for Aluminum manufactures and of course nuclear bomb and weapons research. The Susitna Dam could produce new earthquakes and maybe a smelter for processing ore for vast copper mines near Bristol Bay (a recent 27,000 word privately funded economic impact paper is probably a butt kissing report by Anglo-American), yet the Governor wants approval of the Pebble Mine that would probably devastate fisheries at Bristol Bay eventually and is looking beyond that to providing cheap power down the road processing ore and metals manufacturing.

http://juneauempire.com/state/2012-02-29/gov-senate-bill-doesnt-address-oil-decline

Real Republicans in Alaska could look to California free enterprisers in producing fuel cell power plants for Alaska that would create jobs in the U.S.A. and be safer to operate in Alaska. Real Republican theory would let mining and industrial corporations produce their own electricity instead of acting like a Soviet organ to provide low-cost state power supply to industry. From the oil depletion allowance to the Republican reliance on oil for income and power as if conservation was defined by the fuel with the most high carbon dioxide output per volume the neglect of free enterprise and alternate energy development is notable.

The dialectical evolution of dumb economic and ecological development is an inevitable consequence of the kind of people that make of the Alaska government today. At least there is no point in wasting time with any hope for tomorrow. Medals and retirements to plush locations down south await them all, and with the broadcast media in their pockets no chance of local political independence meaningfully exists in Alaska or the U.S.A.

Envia Produced Highest-Density Electric Car Battery Yet

A high-density battery that might move an electric car 300 miles for $10 without needing to stop for recharging may be on the way. Envia of California has produced the car battery with the highest energy density so far.

http://www.hybridcars.com/news/envia-li-ion-battery-yields-world-record-energy-density-41768.html

The battery may produce electricity at $125 Kwh compared with $300 to $500 in Leafs and Volts. The price may drop farther as competition drives subsequent inventions. The ideal I guess would be to make 2nd world electric cars for fewer than $10,000 possible.

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=new-energy-dense-battery-could-enable-long-distance-electric-cars

The company used a 4 million dollar federal grant and built on federal research to turn out a good product. There may be a variety of versions of synthetic batteries to jolt the electric car movement ahead while the conservative Tar Sands Co2 power school of economics looms like a global warming doom out there as a distant smoke on the horizon of space-time.

United Technologies once had a promising solar panel before a patent infringement suit from ARCO brought it down. Fossil fuel corporations have deep pockets to inhibit electric car progress.

Hogan's Fermilab Experiment for Digital Space-Time

An article on the physicist's experiment to determine if space has 'quantum jitters' as a basic characteristic is the lead in the February Scientific American. It’s a good low-cost experiment using lasers and interferometers finely tuned that might find it space-time itself is more holographic and uncertain itself.

The idea that mass confined to within a Plank length must be single applies evidently to black holes. All that mass within a logical destination in the form of a particular wave function seems improbable enough, yet with a non-deterministic brane containing the mass, who would ever observe it anyway to determine location or speed?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interferometry

The article written by Michael Moyer describes the holographic principle and explains something of the concept of the Universe as a two-dimensional sheet with information on it providing the 3-dimensional appearance. Evidently the way information is conserved going in to black holes is important (Stephen Hawking worked on it). One would think that there is some kind of theoretical limit upon how much information (mass) can go into a black hole and how small it might be.

http://www.bottomlayer.com/bottom/DPandMe.html The digital universe with a philosophical perspective on religion

Some of those problems might be obviated by the faster than light instantaneous all possible places (worldlines) of the quantum world. Perhaps information at black holes if condensed to a Planck scale (the smallest size imaginable quantitatively) becomes potential information redistributed to the quantum field outside solid-state space after warping space-time locally to the maximum degree. Does some of that information leak out anywhere as virtual particles or space-time expansion?

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=is-space-digital

Hogan's experiment to see if space is digital with quantum foamy jitters (what field would connect the discrete bits of space-time) is a practical way to look into small scale physics that would require a vastly larger particle smasher than is likely to be built this millennium (although one never knows for sure what might be constructed in the future).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_physics

One might enjoy an annual box score of the year's good physics experiments for the benefit of the reading public interested in those event-processes and the results.

Romney vs. Santorum for Poll Position

Mitt Romney has shown excellent character during his protracted campaign sojourn through the slings and arrows of media and pundit pummeling. It is ironic that he is something like RG3 in economic competence and that scoring high is used as a disqualifier by his opponents. Well, F.D.R. was from a good family and did a pretty good job as President too. One can't always prejudge the rich and assume that they will work against the general national economic interest.

Rick Santorum only earns 3/4s of a million or so a year so he is regarded as a regular guy. I am not certain what he is conservative about in economics though-maybe he wants to revolt against the British and send the 7th fleet to take back the footsie from the Queen and BP from alien control. Possibly tar sands in Alberta heated up would add enough Co2 to the atmosphere to be considered 'conservative'.

Either Santorum or Romney would be a good President.

False gods, Burning Korans And the Administration's Abominable Policies

On false gods and God's willingness to destroy those societies that pursue them, it seems to be historically factual. Well, if you accept that the Old testament of the Bible is basically a Jewish history book it is well known that God not only destroyed pagan enemies of Israel but also sent Israel into captivity for worshiping false Gods and pursuing abominable practices a time or two.

http://www.voanews.com/english/news/Afghanistan-Hunts-for-Suspect-in-Kabul-Killings-Karzai-Calls-for-Calm-140477113.html

Today, with the abominable practices of the Obama administration in gaying up the military and organizing homosexual 'marriage', we see Korans burned in Kabul and American soldiers murdered in the Interior Ministry, riotous protests, injuries and death. One may believe that sort of thing is just coincidence, yet the Afghans probably believe the U.S. military is becoming some sort of atheistic tool for godless perversions that the administration seeks to force upon the world-it is challenging to say that they are wrong.

Why keep more than a hundred thousand soldiers in a nation trying to stamp out Al Qaeda that merely moved to our 'ally' Pakistan for a decade of easy living in a recently razed compound in the bosum of Pakistan's military or intelligence community when the policy is bound to fail to impress the illiterate or semi-literate yet moral as far as the Koran's values go Afghan? The extended deployment gives jobs to military contractors and little else. Not even the unemployed in the U.S.A. necessarily like the U.S. Government or its high-living, anti-god employees incapable of getting full employment and health care for the poor into reality. The government seems like a revolving door for the prosperous, the globalists and the immoral more often than not.

In Afghanistan, like Iraq, administration policy seems just stupid and adrift without purpose besides domestic political posturing.

If the administration has a blind spot to the bad pr its pansification policy of the military has or will have upon perceptions by Moslems of the kind of people and policies the U.S. military pursue in Afghanistan and elsewhere in the Moslem world it should not be ignored by political planners in the next administration. The consequences of a gayed up neo-atheist godless military reinforced ideologically by Harvard atheist elite insiders that regard human life as no more significant than its D.N.A. stream deployed in Moslemnations may be expensive to taxpayers in that they shall lack the moral authority in antipathetic uniformity to traditional ways of the godly.

When administration policy is so consistently godless it is difficult to be a political apologist to Moslems for American good intentions in occupying their nation until some goal of non-violence is achieved. A godless U.S. Government of, by and for atheist, amoral foes of God wearing lab coats is not one that very many unsold in that way of regarding Americans and aliens alike can support.

The United States has probably reached a point to decide more quickly what it is doing in Afghanistan, cut its losses and costs, secure the stability of the Northern Alliance in their own state and leave before the Afghans learn how really repulsive the administration policy and intentions are. Maybe they will want homosexual marriages in Afghanistan before the military leaves.

And stop giving Pakistan 10 cents or more a year!

Lindsey Lawless & Greenpeace Board Alaska-Bound Shell OIl Drill Ship

The actree Lindsey Lawless is up a 174 foot tower on a Shell Ship headed for Alaska to help frill and possibly foul those endangered north waters above Alaska. Wow, she is a regular apprentice hero kind of women!

http://www.adn.com/2012/02/23/2333320/greenpeace-activists-actress-occupy.html

The major oil corporations are a kind of above the law, and oil depletion allowances besides kind of by your average Alaska politician kind of people. I'll bet they give the actress good food on that luxury support vessel though. Its good to be at sea until the life is all dead in it from carbonic acid.

The Possible Errors Found In Faster-Than Light Neutrino Experiment

The possible inaccurate use of g.p.s. signals that gave the arrival time of neutrinos traveling about 450 miles in 60 nanoseconds a faster than light value makes on wonder if it would be even possible to measure faster than light signals in a space-time field theoretically?

http://news.sciencemag.org/scienceinsider/2012/02/breaking-news-error-undoes-faster.html

If matter and energy only appear in light-speed or less contexts, and if anything else that does exist is in some kind of undetermined, non-material state in a quantum realm of non-determination existing prior to the apparent solid state Universe, it may be generically impossible for anything that travels faster than light to appear in the solid state universe.

In quantum entanglement experiments that remind me a little of the CERN-Gran Sasso neutrino experiments information is apparently exchanged between entangled quantum particles at faster than light speed. There may be no theoretical way to measure how much faster the information is exchanged because the speed issue may be irrelevant.

Cynics might suggest that the quantum entanglement experimenters also had 'loose wires' in each and every case of information being exchanged faster than light. Some though are skeptical of global warming.

The non-determined quantum world experienced by wave-particles in all possible theoretical locations when unobserved may not have space-time field characteristics like those of the solid-state universe with its light-speed limit.

Well, it’s an interesting point to think about.

I would guess that quantum entanglement is something of a partial wave function collapse, yet not completely. Some of the superposition of eigenstates of quanta may be reduced or positioned in some way between entangled particles so that one one particle's state is determined through the collapse of the wave function through an observation the entangled particle shares that trait too seemingly instantaneously at-a-distance.

Obviously I have no idea about the mathematics of these physical theories-just an interest in them for philosophical conversational purposes.

Note to Rick Santorum; The Parable of The Ark

The Earth is comparable to Noah’s Ark; it has finite resources that the crew must conserve until able to produce designed mass from zero point energy or discovery of how to travel faster-than light to get more resources in outer space. A good captain or president should not say ‘live it up; eat drink and be merry for God will provide new worlds after we trash this one and demonstrate total incompetence at managing global resources’.

Rick Santorum is correct that good conduct social is important. The crew may not become cannibals or queers because things are crowded. Good social morality must prevail concurrently with conservation and sober creativity. God instructed mankind to master the Earth. Wasting its resource, killing the oceans with carbonic acid and making the atmosphere too hot for human life is not required as a proof of religious faith. Instead it is the greed and indolence of relying upon a fossil fuel infrastruct5ure more than 100 years old. Vested interests hold the world at ransom, and vested interests make the Democratic Party a non-choice of immediate perversion for Christians as it is.

One might ask why the nation is offered Charybdis and Scylla Presidential choices. The answer is difficult to find. Maybe it’s the corruption of billionaires below the surface. Some candidates may want to burn the Ark’s planks to keep the temperature a little warmer trusting that God will reward their profligacy. If the Christian invention and humanitarian government has modern values that could be taught to the masses it should find more intelligent living arrangements not reliant upon crude oil.

Maybe Mitt Romney is the only intelligent candidate of 2012, that’s hard to say. The candidates seem to be such utter idiots these days without a fraction of the character of Bob Dole or thy smarts of Albert Einstein. One must not throw out Rick Santorum’s candidacy just because he doesn’t have all the right answers-evidently no one has this year.

Fox Reports Brawls Over Single Sex Marriage in Some State Legislatures

The 2012 November elections may become an informal referendum on the homosexual corruption of marriage in several states. With the Democrats basically the party forcing the policy along instead of providing full employment and zero federal debt their is no practical alternative for moral voters to voting for Republicans this year.

Plainly the Democratic elites in a few state legislatures have joined their homosexual judge fraternity in skidding through the fiction of single-sex marriages. Without divine insemination women have never born fruit of new human life themselves. Some men dressing up in women's roles complete the farce that shifts the burden of discrimination upon conservative single individuals of impeccable character that live alone pursuing the good for all mankind offering sage political advice.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/02/18/legislatures-open-same-sex-marriage-brawl-on-multiple-fronts/?test=latestnews

In ancient history the Romans were assaulted by the Cult of Bacchus with its bizarre gong show and strange mysterious sexual practices. Legislators have been subject to extortion, personal attack and various forms of networked arm-twisting by homosexual gangsters in select historical circumstances. One might regard the methods of the ultra-Nazi Ernst Rohm and his Storm Troopers led by a homosexual elite of ruthless political fascists that broke the resistance of more conservative than Nazi's German political opposition. One expects the state legislatures and urban judges to be levered by urban homosexual elites today as personal attacks are their essential reason and political modus operandi.

Global corporations consolidating wealth with a small minority of 43,000 corporations controlling a third of global wealth have seemed to support the homosexual corruption of marriage in the U.S.A. in recent years in order to further degrade the electorate and also because networking homosexual elites probably have gained extra power. The value to zero population growth planners of a corrupted homosexual hostile takeover of the institution of marriage is obvious. A spineless malleable populace will present no meaningful political opposition to the powers concentrating wealth and asserting global control. It was never necessary for homosexuals to destroy marriage to find some equality in society. Like much other recent politics the U.S. Government to is becoming a lie and forcing it's falsehoods and corruption on the people. Very few voters anywhere have taken it upon themselves to transform the U.S.A. into Sodom or Gomorrah-that is entirely the product of spoiled, unimaginative elites with wealth to take political offices or dump their historical and philosophical ignorance into judicial districts.

Era of Submersible Mini-Carriers in the Future to Increase Debt?

When Google got a Nevada license to drive robot cars on the highways it might have been a sign of the times of phasing out erratic human driving of fossil fueled vehicles in the years ahead. The era of large conventional piloted jet fighter aircraft is also being phased out as drones with tighter turns, smaller stealth profile and better prices take to the skies.

Will that mean that aircraft carriers will be reduced in size to support hordes of drone fighter jets? Submersible carriers with disposable kamikaze drone stealth bombers might be a wave of the future too. If human beings were nearly as clever at developing space ships for plain space travel without returning to the Earth's surface through atmospheric friction and deep gravity the economy might fare better.

All of that robot car and warfare junk means that a single evil programmer might rule the world one day. With regular human armies the soldiers have the option of non-conforming to evil and corrupt orders from evil and corrupt rulers. On the other mechanical mandible the robots, unless they think for themselves and learn to hate biologicals, always obey orders of radical leftists and ultra-conservatives seeking to increase U.S. public debt, U-6 and low wages.

Six Trillion Dollars Worth of Fake U.S. Bonds Seized in Italy/Libertarianism and Networks of Power

Italian police working with U.S. agents arrested mafia with 6 trillion dollars of fake U.S. bonds payable from the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank. Authorities say the gang intended to exploit the worthless paper as collateral to attain loans. The audacity of the scheme is greater than the Wall Street techniques of the 2000s were-in some trading houses leveraged 5 billion in assets to buy 100 billion dollars of paper, CDOs and whatever looked good.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/17/us-usa-bonds-forgery-idUSTRE81G11620120217?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FtopNews+%28News+%2F+US+%2F+Top+News%29&utm_content=Google+Feedfetcher

Networks of power tend to eclipse theoretical democracy and individual liberty and displace with socially and empirically totalizing economic and social structures the hypothetical freedom and free enterprise facts of life that existed phenomenally in earlier historical times.

It may be argued reasonably that in the first 150 years of U.S. history the nation was a greedy man's dream world with plenty of land and opportunities to support a prevalently libertarian economy even as capital compiled radically after the industrial revolution. The founder's ideals functioned well when the citizens were not really challenged to construct a democracy with egalitarianism in a challenging and populous social environment as in the third millennium.

Some Americans believe in error that returning to the political philosophy of the founders suitable for the first 100 years in a Libertarian context without the abundant land and natural resource proportionally available to citizens in return the 18th century would return America to prosperity without debt. Actually a reform of capitalism capping citizen concentration of wealth would be the basic social adjustment needed to bring citizen and moderate size business free enterprise to a prominence that it had in the founder's day.

In the absence of reform concentrations of wealth and power enabled with instant global concentration establish hegemony over political, social and economic structures with a one-way advantage. The economy is simultaneously globalized and the national interests decline as the political philosophy of the founders is farther eclipsed and transformed into an excuse to serve the global concentrations of wealth and power, and networks of power.

A scientific study found that of 43,000 corporations a small core tightly controlled more than a third of the global economy (SN9-24-2011-page13). Networks may be controlled by minority elites and shape the real economic and social development of the time. In these essays perhaps I will capture a sense of the possibilities of the times, though for a philosophical generalist it is a process a little like firing at a moving target in the dark.

Keynesianism, Public Debts, Deficits & the Under-taxed Upper Class

John Maynard Keynes; an astute observer of his times, formalized a basic function between government stimulus spending and national economic growth. Even during the First World War when times were hard in Britain, and afterwards with an economic slump the upper classes were of course not broke and still had deep pockets. What could be more reasonable than to stimulate the national economy with government deficit spending and tax the rich to pay for it?

Keynes (pronounced Canes) did not of course advertise the unstated principle of taxing the rich to pay for government debt. Franklin implanted the policy well enough during America’s depression to tax the rich at a 90% rate and stimulate the economy out of recession with a number of government programs. In America today however the expression of Keynesian government deficit stimulus spending concurrently with tax cuts on the rich produces only deficits that for the U.S.A. presently are reaching toward 15 trillion dollars. The U.S. congress is not honest enough or intelligent enough to use realistic economic formula to make the economy function.

The economy is a whole. Compared to liquid water, when the rich have siphoned all the water upward to a storage pool in their shining city on the hill and the workers and fields perish for thirst, government policy taps the pool to let the taxes on the rich be a pipeline letting cash liquidity flow downward to fill the race paddies so that vitality and rice may grow. The lofty management class too requires some water in ample quantity to finance their ethereal and mysterious economic contemplations in the sky-towers offices and create their own pipelines to return the water back up the hill. The contentious process of water rights-cash economy rights amongst users in the fields and those living in the cloud towers of the shining city on the hill is an interminable phenomenon.

Once the Un8ited States had F.D.R. and Dwight Eisenhower on their side. Now they have Harvard elites concentrating wealth and power with globalism negating national boundaries and suck-up socialists trampling individualism, individual equal civil nights and free enterprise. Class prerogatives have evolved to eclipse individual liberty. Concentrated wealth became a global network economic power phenomenon merging with one-party politics of the East philosophically (not spiritually because they are spiritually dead).

Sometimes in history a nations wealth may become concentrated to such a point that the economy stall. In a democratic society with free-enterprise values and a modestly egalitarian operating system federal tax policy with Keynesian premises is to then tax and redistribute much of the supply of concentrated wealth to economic stimulus programs via the government. What kind of economic development and who should get the stimulus spending is an equally important consideration.

A 2011 study found that in research on 43,000 corporations a small elite group controlled a third of the world’s wealth. If stimulus programs redistribute wealth to networks of already concentrated wealth the economic stimulus is unlikely to employ the unemployed. The federal unemployment measure of real people out of work that would work if there were realistically productive employment opportunities;U-6, has the U.S. rate of unemployment somewhere near 19%. Federal stimulus policy should always stress funding new businesses that will employ from five to 5000 employees for a year or more (or they can repay the loans that would otherwise be written off).

As much as talk radio and political sound biters like to regard redistribution of wealth for stimulus spending in hard times communism it is the history of 20th century economic progress in the west. The Reagan use of Keynesian stimulus spending stimulated the economy yet the concurrent tax cuts started digging the very deep national economic debt hole that seems destined to go through the Earth to China over time. The myth of tax cuts and stimulus spending performing supply-side miracles might work in a different economic world than the one made of people with 4 or 5 % Neanderthal and Denisovan genes, yet in such a world the stimulus might not be needed anyway because it would not be a democratic society.

The Dead Sea Scrolls Have More

The Dead Sea scrolls hidden by the Essene Community no later than 68 a.d. brought much of the Old Testament of the Bible directly to translators today. There were extra Biblical writings with unknown prophecies by Ezekial, Jeremiah and Daniel. One may get a sense of some of the minor scribal technical changes.

The Apostle Paul is believed to have written many more epistles to churches than were saved by history to go into the Bible. Perhaps some of those might be found one day too.

Faster Than Light Neutrinos Surfing Over Waves in Space-Time Foam?

The experimental evidence for possible faster than light neutrinos arriving in Italy from CERN in Switzerland raises some logical points.

1) If neutrinos travel faster than light how could they be seen at all by sub-light speed beings or their measurements?

2) Is the speed of light measured correctly? There are some variable speed of light theorists out there.

3) Could the actual speed of light be less than absolutely precise? Could it have values rather like pi at the high end that are difficult to measure and give accurate values to that accumulate for neutrinos over enough distance to make them seem faster than ordinary particles or photons measured?

4) If photons exist as fundamental particles in an electromagnetic field, would neutrinos that do not behave the same way?

5) Would photons and neutrinos have the same spin characteristics, and could quantum qualities of each wave-particle slightly alter it travel characteristics through different mediums?

6) If space-time is discrete instead of continuous, and if all matter-energy exists as a discrete field with minute spacing in various scaffolds or structures could neutrinos skip across those possible small dimensions and shortcut to faster arrival times than other particles that exist with different space-time quantum foam dimensional field relationships.

7) Even if neutrinos arrive faster than the speed of light it might not require that they would actually have a faster intrinsic speed than photons.

Can the Bedbug Infestation Be Frozen Out?

Cimex lectularius Linnaeus; the common bedbug is a relentless bloodsucker seeking out human warmth for dinner. Would nitrogen flash freezing be a clean, quick way of eliminating commercial infestations?

Burning bedding, replacing mattresses and other stuffed items for bed bug sanctuaries with materials designed to be inappropriate for a bed bug life-style and professional anti-bug freezing missions could be an effective approach to containment and reduction of the pests.

Ultra-cold is non-persistent chemically and might not be harmful to many material items if applied carefully. It might be worth some technological research to find out if it works very well.

Romney-Jindal or Santorum-Jindal in 2012 May Be the Ticket

One wonders if the north-south combination for President & Vice-Presidential campaigns will develop amidst the Republican Party challengers to the incumbent once again. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (a Rhodes scholar but don't hold Oxford against him this time) is a possibly too young for prime-time 41 years old, yet his experience dealing with bureaucracy during the BP oil spill and the hang-over from Hurricane Katrina may have given an advanced course to his undergraduate political desk job as Governor.

Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are not too insecure to have a quality player on their team. Jindal is no Uncle Tom (meaning no disrespect to all the Thomas' out there in referring to Harriet Beecher Stowe's fine 1852 classic work of literature) or as Malcolm X said 'yard nigger' for display by wealthy whites on the front lawn. Jindal may look a little too much like Prince Charles yet he is a bright guy that has enjoyed the field of Louisiana and real America while also becoming aware of global issues.

In a few years New Delhi will have a million and a half people riding its high-speed trains every day. In the age of atomtricity development the century old fossil fuel automobile technology is generations behind and atmospherically deleterious; Bobby Jindal may be able to work on the Republican side to lead the nation toward a new synthesis of personal transport and advanced mobility theory that would surpass the existing transit paradigms of gas engines or trains.

The U.S. national debt at 14 trillion dollars headed for 20 trillion on the Obama schedule needs a balanced budget in two years and payments of a half trillion a year to pay of in20 or 30 years. Each year the public pays about 3/4 trillion dollars on interest payments and gets nothing for that. The situation will only get worse with another term of President Obama.

Not only do Bush-Obama tax cuts need to expire, so does inefficient federal spending and corrupt over-use of federal programs by the privileged. Besides that, the capitalism needs reform (Adam Smith loathed the East India Company) so competition can be conserved, the world environment needs defense right away and the world population may be 10 billion in just 30 years. While no political party has its oars in the water this decade or last, a Santorum-Jindal or Romney-Jindal lineup may be the best ticket available.

Extinct Denisovan Gives Finger to Science

An extinct human species gave the finger to human scientists of today that enabled the sequencing of the genome of the closest relative to human beings that died about perhaps 40,000 years ago. The Denisovan remains were discovered in a Siberian cave.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2098113/Scientists-sequence-genome-Denisovan-caveman-fossilised-finger-bone-Siberian-cave.html

The finger and some teeth date to about 100,000 B.C., yet the Denisovans lived for about 60,000 years elsewhere in Asia. Australian aborigines and New Guineans have aboye 4 to 5% Denisovan genes

The Denisovans are interesting for many reasons. One is their timing in the human schedule of travel to America via the Bering Sea land mass. American indians did not arive here until after 40,000 B.C. by which time the Denisovans were about extinct.

Scientists have discovered remains of homo erectus in Asia dating about 1.8 million years ago. Human beings arrived in the far east it is reported in two basic migrations from about 45,000 thousands y.b.p to 35,000. Then later human beings arrived about 25,000 b.c. Those humans became the Chinese and perhaps pressured migrations across Berengia to Alaska. I would guess that American indians have low or now Denisovan genes.

Modern Europeans have 2 or 3% Neanderthal genes. Of more interest is the idea that the human line originated in Asia as homo erectus and then traveled to Africa only to return 1.8 million years later to loan money to finance the federal debt. One wonders if American President have more Neanderthal genes than Asian leaders who perhaps have neither Denisovan or Neanderthal genomic content evidently. Where are Jerry Ford quality leaders when America needs them?

The Advancing Atomtronic Research Efforts

From the ultra-cold Bose-Einstein condensates developments to more research in moving atoms through ultra-cold mediums the science of using atoms to convey information in 'tame' networks has developed.

http://aaas.confex.com/aaas/2012/webprogram/Paper5813.html

Atomtronics is like electronics substituting atoms for electrons in those circuits and other applications. Spintronics exploits the spin of electrons as well as charge, while atomtronics can exploit entire atoms in a large number of potential applications.

http://www.technologyreview.com/blog/arxiv/25197 'How to build an atomtronic computer'

Atomtronic application are few yet, it is thought they may be useful in connecting up quantum computers and states of entangled particles. Atomtronics present new ways of storing information and making batteries and work best in super-cold environments. One might construct very cold atomtronic quantum computer pure-logic circuits in some deep, cold crater on the moon and input solar power to charge it up.

One might imagine future atomtronics synthetic space systems construction of habitats of interstellar dust or whatever as information and atom processing technology synthesizes where the rubber meets the road.

Al Qaeda and Obama Administration on the Same Side in Syria?

The Obama administtration has so far seemed to back the revolutionaries of 'The Arab Spring' leaping to toss out their oppressive dictators and their concentrated wealth and power. Now that Al Qaeda's leadership have endorsed the Syrian insurgency it is a little more awkward for the administration seeming to be on the same side.

The esstablishment of a Sunni Koran belt from Turkey to Egypt through Syria, the Palestinian territories and Jordan across North Africa to Libya would create a kind of restored Caliphate like that of the or Abbasid in co-religionists, yet it would be something of a democratic social environment in numerous independent states rather than an Emirate.

Paradoxically it the the political philosophy changes in support of globalism preferred by U.S. political elites that would work to end the nationalism in the new democratic states. A logical transition would be an evolution toward an Iranian style congress of Mullahs with a Supreme Guide and perhaps local presidents of each nation as might be the developing trend in the Eurozone without of course, the any religion but godless atheism. Because rule by elites and legislation by the corrupt wealthy elites and judiciary seems to flourish in a global environment without the firewalls of nationalism the preference for creating New Gomorrahs of the American states might find the Emirate as a better political entity for corruption than independent nations.

Because modern U.S. political and economic leaders seem badly historically positioned for the development of good ideas of political philosophy that would conserve world resources and individual, politically cellular boundaries in properties of rights the administration's political context for Middle Eastern revolution may become non-interventionist or even reinforcing insurgencies that former administrations might have opposed.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/9077604/Al-Qaeda-leader-backs-Syrian-revolt-against-President-Assad.html

Well, Isreal may not be so badly set if the Sunni Koran belt is established as it may bring a reduction or ellimination in time of terrorist cadres as conventional governments inveitably purge their ranks to seek after their piece of the global econoomic pie. The trouble with that is the recalcitrant posture U.S. Government leadership has toward being a good example themselves of the things expected or hoped for in the poorer, democratic nations.

China's best in the world economy is done with a one-party system, while America's two party democracy wobbles about piling up debt, failing in educational standards, impoverishing it's poor, polluting the world's sea and sky and establishing global networks of concentrated economic wealth and power that leave most people on the beach watching the smoke on the horizon driving by in expensive cars.

Alaska Land Area Shrinking With Global Warming

Each year Alaska's north slope is receeding by a half a meter as global warming melts the permafrost shoreline. Global sea levels may also rise over time as they continue a trend started in the late 19th century. 2007 and 2011 virtual tied as the Arctic ice cover's minimum size or maximum melt. I would guess that 2012 will be a record setter for icecap loss.

http://www.arctic.noaa.gov/detect/index.shtml Arctic Change

As the Arctic ocean warms it will also become more tempestuous sending storms of greater intensity to low-lying coastal areas. More pollution from more human industrial activity will broadcast deleterious impacts farther abroad in the warming ocean.

President Obama Seeking to Exploit Christian Organizations for African Birth Control Missiology?

With so many Christian organizations doing good works in Africa the idea of using them to bring a contraceptive ethos to Africa might have occurred to the President's ZPG advisers. Liberia and Niger are doubling their numbers every twenty years. The Economist reported in December that by the year 2045 Africa will have more than 2 billion souls. Their demands for consumption of already stressed world resources make the contraceptive crowd fret I would guess.

World population may have already passed 7 billion. By 2050 world population may be 10.5 billion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_population

One wonders if Christian organizations become perceived by Africans as being dealers of rubbers and birth control pills and devices if they will turn toward Moslem missionaries that may not be as manipulated by their governments in the global condom wars?

China with its billion three hundred million has a stable population as does Japan. Africans are young and enjoy 6 kids per individual in some nations with few people over age 80 or even 40 for that matter. China and Japan are aging populations

It is interesting to consider long range Chinese policy toward the Africans. It is difficult to imagine that either China or Japan-very old racially insular societies, will look toward free borders with Africans who would swamp them, in a friendly way.

For the time being African wildlife seems almost doomed as the people will scour every available resource for exploitation and their governing institutions are weak and prone to violence. It is difficult to image a billion African fossil fuel burning cars in 2050 yet it could happen as low-millage U.S. cars are loaded aboard ships and sent across the Atlantic to off-load unto new African asphalt highways soaking up sunshine to warm the night better.

It will be an interesting future. At the least, new technologies will need to rapidly displace environment and prosperity destroying existing technology in Africa.

The Tao of Pacifism

I do not wish to overly upon the philosophical concepts of Taoism to metaphorize the watercourse way of flowing social and empirical events. It is merely convenient to borrow the metaphor of a continuum of change; of force flowing, in order to describe the interactive phenomena of pacifist actions in a phenomenal world of force.

Social and worldly change is about force and of course violence is regarded by some as the use of force. Flowing water has force only in relation to other objects-for-themselves, and also when the water is confined to a finite area from which it seeks to release or be renormalized to a state of non-force equilibrium.

The universe is a phenomenality of force fields and elements in deteriorating states of equilibrium. The tremendous mystery is how the initial state of the Universe began in perfect order without entropy only to expand and decay toward a new equilibrium at the lowest, coldest energy state at some future time not yet achieved. Us Christians believe that God spoke the Word and the Universe began ‘let there be light’, and there was light’. Well, that is a more parochial topic for the time being.

If one philosophically is in opposition to violence on moral grounds, perhaps reasoning that violence is stupid because there are many smarter things to do in life, should one then choose to act upon others and force one’s belief in the use of non-force upon the unwilling, predatory and ignorant hordes?

Perhaps acting within the world-for-others or within the dialectical social materialism of the era one might divert violent actions and policies toward non-violent, more productive applications of force. Human dynamics are within a violent continuum in-themselves and simply direct action to stop violence tends to produce violent such as in particle accelerator collisions at CERN.

Obviously redirecting violence to non-violent directions within a real social environment with semi-autonomous, moderately intelligent persons being the context of violent action, secular hypocrisy, deceit and so forth might require that one be as wise as a serpent and as gentle as a dove. Well, that worked for Jesus Christ until the arrest, trial and suffering unto death of The Lord.

Even if only God could divide the waters allowing the Jews to flee Pharaoh’s secular violent cavalry and power of slave-owning, pacifists today might moderate the social flow indirectly putting intention to transition states of affairs into non-violent contexts. It wouldn’t be easy I would think.

Obama 2012 Budget-Chinese 2012 Budget-Pres Obama Meets Vice President Xi (pronounced She?)

President Obama's 2012 budget has been criticized for kicking the debt further down the road and borrowing money to squeak through a second term. The 'after me the deluge' approach worked for President Bush II so why not for Obama I?

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/14/us-usa-china-idUSTRE81D08R20120214?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FtopNews+%28News+%2F+US+%2F+Top+News%29&utm_content=Google+Feedfetcher

Of more interest is the Chinese 2012 budget that was released in December. It has an anticipated GDP growth of 8%, and as the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business advertised in The Economist 'A new world operating system is now running.'

What that means for Americans in effect is that China has a moderately effective one-party political system that plans and structures its national economy much better than America's polarized democracy that has substantively schizoid political philosophy underwriting it . American democracy is owned by the rich from Super Pacs to ordinary run of the million dollar congressional campaign seats, and the populous is about ass incompetent as it could get with all of the confused, incompetent ideas from their leaders even about what the U.S. economic goals should be. Rush Limbaugh is perhaps the roll model for Lenin's notion that 'capitalists will sell us the rope we hang them with'..

America's democracy in head to head competition with China's one-party system may lose the economic race because the middle class and rich are just too damn comfortable to think about political philosophy enough to do the nation any good.
