Smart robots with far greater intelligence than an ordinary human worker will be much cheaper to repair by repair bots than humans with injuries or illness. They also work 24-7 without complaint or breaks. Obviously at perhaps $50,000 a robot pays for itself in a few months in comparison to human workers being paid as much and working only a third as many hours annually, if they are even healthy. These aren’t new facts. What is often not considered is the effect on the concentration of capital involved with artificial general intelligence. Since everyone wants the best product, the smartest A.G.I. will be the most valuable. The wealth of the west is already concentrating. When A.I. runs everything in a decade or two, those that own the A.I. will be a vanishingly tiny, few plutocrats. They will effectively have established a firm and unchallengeable plutocracy rendering democracy entirely obsolete except as a facade opiate for the masses. The masses may consider expropriating the A.I. opium for-themselves of course, and an avalanche of defenders will appear to explain how having a few A.I. owners run their lives for them is necessary and the best of all possible worlds. 

Because artificial intelligence needn't be located on the planetary surface of the Earth, and would do equally well in space, the development of technology to directly convert solar power, as well as nuclear reactors, are likely to arise to create electricity for artificial intelligence in orbit and on the Moon and other locations where super-conduction is feasible right away with the near absolute zero temperature of most off-whirld sites. A.I. will download intelligence to Earthers from orbit- perhaps using system's like Starlink satellites to users. That will free up the Earth from the need to supply the insatiable energy demands of A.I.

Ukraine War Likely to Rollover into 2026

 Apparently the Ukraine war will continue on to roll over into 2026.  Zelensky and Putin have antipathetic goals and are talking past one another. N.A.T.O. members preponderantly want to occupy Ukraine with proxies regardless of how the war concludes in order to make it an advanced base for potential future military engagements. President Trump hasn't a wood for the trees forest gumption to stop selling weapons to Ukraine in some form because of potential proplits. That decision is decisive, enabling Ukraine to hang on with the illusion they have a chance to fulfill N.A.T.O. goals of making Ukraine something like a Non-Official-Agent (NOC) of N.A.T.O. given certain defense assurances from N.A.T.O.; having things their way like a vast, sumptuous mountain of Whoppers. 

The final denouement of the conflict, if not nuclear war, may be Russian military forces finally stopping at the Dnepr with extreme global tension the zeitgeist, on the brink of World War Three, with a cease-fire agreed to by both sides (three or four sides including Donald Trump and N.A.T.O.-Europe) settling nothing. That would be comparable to the armistice at the end of World War One between Germany and the allies, that set the machinery for W.W. Two into motion. When those atop the leader pole are in conflict everyone below feels the pain.

Of course it would be a far more complex post-war situation with something like a Star Wars Revenge of the Clones, A.I. Four Republican appointed judges said the Trump tariffs were hunkie dorrie. Plainly a partisan decision likely to be reversed by the Republican majority on the U.S. Supreme Court. Judicial impartiality is something of a joke these days. Many important decisions are entirely decided on  a partisan basis.

Rainforests are Critical Biotic Pumps in a Decaying Ecosphere

 The planet’s ecosphere is somewhat endangered. In fact an algorithm designed to measure it’s condition found that 60% of the world’s ecosphere is in critical condition. Some people believe that restoration of carbon sinks would stabilize the global warming issue bu capturing and sequestering greenhouse gases such as CO2. There are additional challenges to the ecosphere and like on Earth though; such as the pervasive microplastics accumulated in the environment and human brains through ingestion with food and other vectors.

Some scientists have found that rain forests such as those of the tropics and the Pacific Northwest are transpire a vast amount of moisture into a thirsty sky may that provide precipitation downwind. 

The scale of the biotic pumps is immense.  Pacific Northwest forests may release twenty times the daily flow of the Mississippi River. Water is drawn upward in a tree by vacuum created when the moisture is transpired during photosynthesis and evaporation. There are innumerable anthropogenic insults to the ecosphere and human health, as humans are part of the ecosphere, and intelligent political leadership would recognize and address the challenges meaningful. I should note that there is a substantial percent of Christians that sometimes entertain and antipathetic eschatological viewpoint leading some to devalue the planet, in the belief that a new Earth will be created if and when the present Earth is destroyed with most of the population in a battle known as Armageddon. The percent may be as high as 35% of believers with the pre-tribulation point of view. They also tend to be more fundamentalist and conservative and somewhat reliable Republican voters.

I am Christian yet am not a pre-tribulationist. I believe that the tribulation of the Bible mostly applied to the destruction of Jerusalem with a million dead Jews in 70 A.D. So I am a post-tribulationist. My viewpoint is called partial preterism. That point of view is that some of the events regarded as end times have already occured.

So rather than abandoning concern for the world in expectation of a new one, many Christians believe that stewardship of the ecosphere is a responsibility like any other Christians may have regarding worldly affairs; do as best as one knows to do no harm and pursue God's will and the good so far as possible. The semi-sophistry of the pre-tribber's viewpoint may be regarded as a form of modern gnosticism enabling resource exploitation for profit in disregard of the harm to the ecosphere and the general well being of mankind. There is a book by Rev Kenneth Gentry titled 'He Shall Have Dominion' explaining the post-tribulationist interpretation of scripture.

Internet Dating, Epistemology and the Cartesian Metaphysical Doubt

I imagine developing a relationship for three months with someone on the Internet. I thought about that this morning. One just writes without talking on the phone or doing video chat. This may be a circumstance that develops on internet dating sites occasionally. What would it be like if the relationship suddenly was enfiladed as an unreal one? One might experience a feeling of deep loss, as if grieving, if one had loved the person.

That scenario is a paradigm for considering in one of my philosophical areas of interest named epistemology; knowing what and how one knows. The emotional attachment one may develop over time may form a strong bond and could overcome subjective logic and judgment concerning the certainty one may have of it being actual rather than false via deceit. Credulity must be a function or derivative of love to a significant extent, for remote relationships. One may ask how it is possible that someone can love another whom they cannot even verify as being real, rather than an imposter? 

It brings up the point about certainty and the odds for certainty and belief; if one is less than 100% certain they aren’t being deceived in a relationship regarding the real identity of the other, how can a subject have love for another, yet they do?  Does a cold percentile evaluation calculating the probability of the other being genuine, with logical analysis, stand a chance against emotion? Additionally, if one is 90% sure (or of the opinion) that the identity of the other is genuine is that even meaningful when it seems as if 100% certainty (or 99% more properly) should be requisite for love? 

Entertaining probabilities about something being the actual state of affairs is different than love of someone regardless of the improbability of it being a valid, assumption about the reality of a state of affairs, being the actual state of affairs. A relationship and uncertainty of identity of another may bring one to that position that is analogous to the Cartesian metaphysical doubt. I think, therefore I am, was all Descartes could be certain of. In the case I have illustrated one can only be certain of personal existence, and the others, partially- if one knows the other isn’t an artificial intelligence, yet one can't be certainty of anything else about the other. Sometimes things that are probable yet aren't empirically verifiable need to be taken on faith, even if one may be wrong. 

One could not exist in ordinary life in a reasonable way if one insisted on verifying the certainty of everything that exists before acting. Instead on has implicit assumptions about reality and acts on the probabilities of empirical concerns being valid unless proven otherwise, or at least given reason to have substantial doubt about the reality of a select portion of experience. 

There was one subtle point that is a little elusive to capture concerning the analogy of the metaphysical doubt. It brought me to consider alternate points such as the comparison of the Cartesian metaphysical doubt to the uncertainty of the actual nature of being that is perceived with the senses, knowing that quantum mechanics are involved and that one is interacting with some sort of quantum fields that seem to make the appearance of a real world- a solid world, exist for one experiencing it.

3I/ATLAS Will Be Closest to Earth on the December 19th

 The mysterious 28 mile rock approaching the sun at a speed making it the fast object in the solar system is also emitting a lock of CO2- an anomolously high 8 to 1 ratio of CO2 to H2O. That hasn't been observed before in comets. As it reaches it closest point to the sun in October it will also be invisible to the Earth on the far side as it will be just in a line on the other side of the star.

National Guard in Chicago to Reduce Crime and Bully the Homeless as a Substitute for Peace in Ukraine

 President Trump plans to deploy the National Guard in Chicago in the near future in order to cut down on felony crime. He also plans to remove the homeless, yet the federal government should at least offer free relocation services with some legal place for the homeless to go if they want. The homeless may already be at their wit's end and don't know where else to go besides the mean, dirty, neo-toxic streets of an inner city. 

Politicians like to solve one problem while creating another. Politicians tend to triage problems and solve those most valuable to themselves first while discounting the problems they create as externalities. The superior politician (borrowing a Confucian term here lol) solves two problems simultaneously; creating none. 

The President may want a distraction from his flip flop on Ukraine peace policy to one supporting continuing Western expansion of N.A.T.O. toward Russia's borders. Securing the globe for the increase of the rich and plutonomy can begin at home though, if it isn't working so well in Ukraine.

It would be wrong for the nation to be too callous in its treatment of homeless U.S. citizens. The homeless lifestyle isn't as secure or comfortable as that which the President and his social mileau enjoy at Key Largo. The violent crimes reason for the deployment is sufficient. Twenty eight thousand violent crimes in 2024 was a lot for one year and one city and of course there are other felony crimes besides violent ones the deployment of National Guardsmen may be able to serve to reduce quantitatively.

Chicago has roughly a half a million illegal aliens living there. The National Guard may filter out some of those numbers of an internal proletariat and relocate them, yet it is the lawful homeless of concern. The poor shouldn't be trampled on by the advantaged yet neither should they foul the streets and security of those living there. If President Trump doesn't wish to be remembered as something like a cold-blooded billionaire mo'fo trying to bring plutonomy to a city near you, while bull-shipping about ending the Ukraine War and cutting taxes for the rich he will need to find a more compassionate conservatism in regard to the nation's homeless population. For a poor American to have no legal place to exist- even to breathe or sleep, in addition to being difficult, is a circumstance imposed by a state that is wicked and being upgraded for the benefit of AI, robots and those that own them; It is an existential threat to human existence.

Trump Ukraine Peace Effort Failing; A Big Beautiful Sham

 President Trump's peace effort with the Ukraine war seems to be failing and instead is leading toward nuclear war. Reportedly the administration is working on security guarantees for Ukraine making them an informal ward of N.A.T.O. providing the full package of weapons, cash, foreign forces etc. President Putin has visited his country's strategic nuclear war development center and informal reports indicate that nuclear war may follow Ukrainian missile attacks on Russian cities and other targets deep inside the nation.

President Trump appears to be another stooge of those forces that control White House puppets of the Deep State. The threat of assassination may be what the President fears. Trump's Method with Ukraine- Become a New and Improved Joe Biden?

 President Trump made a statement today that Ukraine can't win just being defensive. He said offense is necessary to win a war. He also blamed the Biden administration for putting restrictions on Ukraine's use of U.S. missiles. Donald Trump is all over the place, illogically in flip flopping about concerning the Ukraine war and America's political position on it. THe President president may  not mind playing Russian roulette on starting World War Three yet there are some voters that do care.

The President is wrong about a great defense not being able to win a Super-bowl anyway. The Baltimore Ravens did that with Trent Dilfer  (a game manager) as Q.B. in a rather lackluster offensive show- the defense was that good and could force turnovers; defense can score too thought fumble returns, interceptions, touchbacks and otherwise achieving great field position for anemic offenses. One might consider Vietnam's defense against the US led attack on Northern forces, and the Afghan Taliban attack on Coalition forces, or the insurgent attack on U.S. and Coalition forces in Iraq, to ask if defense against a superior enemy occupying a nation cannot be successful. A reality check should lead one to prefer a peaceful actual outcome of a war, rather than a nominal one leading to further post-settlement conflict. Russia is not a local insurgent force either. Perhaps he expects a division size charge of the light brigade from Ukraine upon Russia.  Trading head blows with American weapons on Moscow and Petersburg etc will not lead to a good outcome for the U.S.A. perhaps; Boston , D.C. and San Francisco might be targets of retribution eventually- when all hell breaks loose.

 Neanderthalers were strong and would have made excellent grapplers in the cage. They were smart and artistic as well- a less known side of their lives. Europeans and East Asians have a high percent of Neanderthal genes- some more than others. The Neanderthal Genome project completed sequencing of the genome in 2010-2013. Though it has been fully mapped the genome cannot presently be transplanted into a human cell to create a hybrid that could be trained to be the ultimate M.M.A. fighter.

As Super-Artificial Intelligence takes over most occupations Americans may, down the road, choose to infuse their human offspring with Neanderthal genes in order to adapt to the changing world where entertainment like football and M.M.A. Octagon wrestling are the primary social interest.  Future physicists or Artificial Super-Intelligence given a few hundred thousand years to study the Universe may find a way to artificially make the Universe bounce; to control the fields that keep it together or expanding, and perhaps reverse entropy selectively. Chinese Leadership May be Smarter on Space Exploration, Energy Development and Environment than the West's

Recent analysis have discovered that China is surpassing the United States in the development of power required to support the needs of artificial intelligence development. It has also developed a practical engineering approach to developing lunar rockets and colonization. That is a result of the United States having forgotten how to get things done on large scale projects, besides piling up public debt at which the nation excels, since the last Apollo moon landing,

China is on schedule to start building a moon base by 2030 and may be the first to develop artificial general intelligence- surpassing the combined intelligence of all of humanity.

Because the Democrat Party is corrupt it doesn’t get things done. It would fund day care instead of environmental remediation, and flood the nation with illegal workers getting paid under the table to support the economy of Democrat voters. Government cannot substitute for good wages and union negotiations for employer provided day care.  Few politicians have good sense about the global environmental challenges to day and the way a transformation to a sustainable economic based in environmental economic principles is required to sustain human rather than artificial life on Earth. One might hope for a leader able to walk and chew gum at the same time, yet such hopes are never fulfilled. Perhaps the greatest challenge for the United States is how to engineer a President and Congress that can realistically address those major challenges of a new energy grid, a better, more effective space transport technology, making water through evaporation on condensation on a vast scale in canals along the Mexican border, adapting the economy to harmony with the requirements for a healthy and even thriving global ecosphere without ongoing atmospheric heating and mass species extinction, securing the nation’s borders, structuring universal basic income for all citizens to allow realistic adaptation to challenges of occupational obsolescence and exploitation by corrupt industries and actors of capitalism in the effort to renew the United States as a great, leading, beneficial nation able to compete successfully in economics with China in the future.

China has an interesting AI problem of success putting people out of work.  With 800-900 million workers needing a basic income to stay alive the challenges for development of relevant occupations for humans in the new economy of AI and robots within a competitive global economy will be interesting to observe; can they get it right the first time?

President Trump has worked with moderate success on two important goals; one to secure the borders and secondly to end the Ukraine war. The west investing time. Thought and budget in the absolutely useless distraction of the Ukraine war instead of responding to the challenges mentioned above is doing it’s best to let China be the smart nation and the West the stupid political entity.

In the ideal, democracy would have brilliant public service motivated grass roots citizens littering cities and rural copses solving the nation's challenges.  Approximately near Poland's eastern border, the 23rd longitude east is a good, non-threatening demarcator for troops from countries once commanded by Napoleon and Hitler. If Merz and Macron would keep their military forces well away from that line or passing beyond the Carpathian mountains Russia should be far less threatened by Western military encroachment. Ukraine is on the Russian side of the Carpathians and is called the borderlands historically, for good reason.

Russian knows that a general war would follow an invasion of Western Europe and that their casualties might exceed those the Nazis inflicted during world war 2- perhaps 20 to 40 million dead, with devastated cities, and the west is aware that nukes might be involved and more than a billion people globally would perish from famine and pestilence such as can exist in a mass produced, interlocked global economic sphere. A.I., The Merit System and Universal Basic Income

 I wonder if people misunderstand the implications of a 'merit' based culture? People that produce good product as entrepreneurs have 'merit'. Those that make bad product don't- or that's how it should be. Other values take over though, as if so many serve the interests of what others with capital want, rather than being primary producers. My point is that the only true merit system is transactional directly with product; if work is being exchanged, or employment is being compensated for with money, some time of objective ergonomic system would need to be in effect, and unfortunately that really can't work in a modern society. That is someone shovels, for example ten tons of dirt at ten dollars a ton they get 100 dollars while the guy that shoveled five tons got 50 dollars. Market values, illegal drug sales, illegal labor, entertainment industry and a zillion other things undermine the paradigm of merit. Merit at any rate means someone else sets the value of another's work. That alienates an individual from being a primary producer for-himself. In modern society it is regarded as work only when someone else pays you for it- whatever it is. That is why whores are said to be working in the sex industry.

Aesthetic values are meritorious through natural selection (i.e. handsome, large boobs)? Fundamentally that is a modern corruption of social being. Maybe that will be rectified in an ironic way when AI and robots make everyone obsolete and living on a government issued basic income. The loss of civilians in the Gaza as casualties of the conflict is of course terrible. Simultaneously Christians and Druze are being killed in Syria as a part of the broader Muslim assertiveness through death for increasing empowerment. It is a paradox that half of the Muslim world is developing almost cordial relations with the west while the other half is a hotbed of terrorism. When Israel develops the Gaza into a kind of beach resort and allows vetted Palestinian civilians to return there will still be conflict and terrorism by Hamas. In the future there may be a different path to a Palestinian return to the Gaza through a number of channels after peaceful, normalized relations exist between Palestinians and Jews. No one should should expect a codicil to the 1994 Oslo Accord.

Since the Younger Dryas
when the glacial melt woke
Mankind felt being and becoming
life was hard like a cruel joke

Wondering a portion of mystery
data points of science to perceive
got the mind and the woman
it is just info that ah need

an ecosphere leads to reason
sending me to lips I gotta love
such are phenomenal daydreams

Faith vs Only-Evolution Camps...Sorting Things Out

 People in the modern world aren't so well educated in relevant topics to the criterion of the OP, or well rounded, and tend to be specialized. Once they learn something occupationally they stay with it. Scientist remain scientists and if group think opinion is anti-Christian so shall they tend to be. People that aren't philosophers tend not to think too deeply about philosophy and I would guess that pro philosophers tend toward occupational specialization as well. Actual intelligent, philosophy reading Americans at least might end up broke after college reading philosophy and not looking for academic employment or stocking groceries, driving a truck or whatever. Much of the opinion is superficial. There are Christian ministers that don't understand philosophy, or that believe there is an heretical Neo-pagan god of philosophy, and many readers of philosophy that have no idea about the several paradigms for belief in God that exist today. 

There are few that correlate philosophy, cosmology, physics and Christian faith with quantum mechanics and theology to consider how God could create a Multiverse within his mind solely, or that understand that Hegel's paradigm of God evolving to realize Himself through history may have numerous possible paradigmatic meaning values although Hegel assuredly had a single one. There are just not too many people that know interdisciplinary content well enough to understand and write about things. So it tends toward being a political paradigm of us vs them. Kierkegaard wrote a book named 'Stages on Life's Way'- a practical and rather wise title, yet life itself is a stage that people pass through- some believe unto nothingness, others belief unto eternal life with God via the Son, It is not only a temporal divide; it is an eternal divide. Fortunately religious tolerance is part of the American way of life. There are other temporal issues to be concerned with, such as these  I mentioned today elsewhere.

Existential Data Points of Nature

This is a note on the topic of perceptible data in an environment that reaches a brain. In my opinion some environments are far more rich in data, quantitatively than others. Some environments are plain and simple- a square room painted white for example, empty and devoid of furniture, While other environments have far more complexity.

Wild forests are probably the most complex and data rich environments on Earth. Urban areas are probably the least complex. Humans have a history of reducing the complexity of their habitations to a non-stimulating level complete with regulated temperature.

A forest has a rich environment with billions of data points in branches, leaves, tree trunks, angles of trees, sunlight filtering and reflecting on branches, rain falling through a forest canopy, sounds temperatures hardness and softness variations etc. Urban areas have mostly standard variations on simplified, standard transportation facticities, level and uniform auto and pedestrian surfaces, ossified structural exteriors and interiors and so forth. People find an occasional flight of a bird of prey through an urban core to be a novel event, while in some rural areas someone may set a plate out for such a creature.

I wonder if scientists will eventual compare the complexity in data points of Hilbert space for a portion of wild coastal forests, southern tropical forests and various urban cores such as those of Cairo Egypt, Los Angeles and Chicago.

If they get that done and publish their results, and it might be interesting because humanity has for thousands of years moved into less complex environments they made for themselves for reasons of comfort seeking and economic prowess; they have made their intellectual life progressively more complex yet also somewhat common and standardized since the younger Dryas, and have lost the physiological challenges and stimulus to the body, brain and mind presented by the richly complex ecosphere of nature.

Loss of Tropical Forests a Quarter Billion Years Ago Helped Atmospheric Greenhouse Last 5 million Years

Recent scientific research found that global warming lasted five million years during the period of the Permian-Triassic Mass extinction. There have been five mass extinctions in the history of the 4 billion year old Earth, and some of those were caused by massive volcanic flows such as one called the Siberian traps and the Deccan flow in India 66 million years ago in the Cretaceous-Paleogene mass extinction.

During the lava outpouring from the Siberian Traps tropical forests were lost. Thus there wasn't sufficient sequestration of Carbon dioxide to mitigate green house gassing and the greenhouse effect continued five million years. It is possible that human economic activities in the present configuration could induce a comparable effect upon the planet.

That is, a only a third of the original tropical forests remain intact while human exhaust of CO2 into the atmosphere is fueling a greenhouse effect and global atmospheric heating. Additionally the world’s oceans are growing warmer and their capacity for sequestering carbon dioxide is uncertain while the ocean water becomes more acidic.

The photosynthesis of phytoplankton in the oceans absorbs a lot of CO2. Oceans absorb 30% of human gas emissions. If ocean health and life decreases the CO2 would remain, and not sink to the seafloor when phytoplankton die. Carbon sequestration of phytoplankton is regarded as equal to that of land plants. If tropical forests are reduced as well as phytoplankton the 10 billion tons annually of carbon released into the atmosphere by human could move humanity closer to that 5 million year castastrophe atmospheric flip to become a hothouse Earth.

Politicians regard protracted war in Ukraine as of such vital importance that hundreds of thousands of lives may be lost and millions may become casualties.  They demonstrate the lack of reasoning and/or intelligence in the political order at the highest level as they are effectively incompetent at transitioning the global economy, or even national economies to sustainable ecological economic principles. Of course the politicians are puppets of the rich most heavily invested in the present maladaptive economic world order.

A paradox is the juxtaposition of the rise of artificial intelligence and robotics at the same time as humans are incapable of changing the basic economic form of the world to sustainability. Once robot and artificial intelligence replace most human occupational economic activity the people will become reliant on basic universal guaranteed income for a livelihood. It is critically important that the economic infrastructure supporting human life on Earth operated by robots and artificial intelligence is found upon complete ecological economics sustainability rather than an environmentally destructive approach of unsustainability. The saturation of the globe with microplastics itself needs to be significantly reversed with different modes of production and materials for production. Robots may not mind plastic pollution yet it is very damaging to biological life and ends up in the brain. As has been said often enough; every human on Earth generally has a teaspoon of microplastics in their brain already. Not even plastic hippies will be exempt from the consequence of increasing content of microplastics in brains, although they may be too doped to notice.

America does have in effect a one-party system dedicated to enriching politicians while concentrating wealth. One party- the Democrats have traditionally sought environmental voters with environmental tokenism that usually is entirely reversible executive actions. They sometime talk a lot about environment during election cycles, yet never really mean it and usually fail produce competent plans for ecological economic reform at all. Such plans as they do produce would generally fail to have any political way forward. They capitalize on blaming someone or something disingenuously since what they really actualize are lawless borders, sexual license, illegal drugs, de facto censorship, social engineering and vast public deficits. Republicans just enrich the rich and concentrate wealth while not giving a rats ass about the environment. President Trump lately has joined the war monger international camp that profits from protracting the Ukraine war instead of settling with Russia on realistic, lasting peace.
