Signs of the TImes (the poem)

Winds to war rise through dense fog
clear as bogs focused through time
lenses warp each atmosphere's
entanglements near war crimes

  Trick or treat for unideath
recipes chefs of death make
everything everywhere
power with tares vast wealth bakes

Six hundred drove one dark day
gamblers way gone to new shores
artillery launched high
news signs of bold lies for more.

Clear-cutting fate (a poem)

  A plaintive howl ends winter
with inferences tracking time
moving snacks through forests dark
silent snow flakes stark and fine

  Hunting cool with edges being
shadows to sing through still night
the void echoes howls elsewhere
shifting close snares to the right

Deer prey tells where are trees now
deadly how good chases end
abstract grid of sense and sound
provides fresh flesh to rend

  Encroachment is one hard mace
nature’s place is broken down
howls when master is away
clear-cutting fate building towns.

Each Book Move (poem)

The match was never ending
Knight Bd2 followed d3
a metaphor of games to see
computer moves that could never be
howling wolves clawed eight pawns of light
converting them to Queens when time was right
Democrat's coven of evil tide
schlockin bockwursts of other sides
beyond grey lines moving to red and black
opponents fell into enjambed cracks
pre-moved knacks captured cold piece glides
Stanley steamers rolled roycing died
mangling rook powered pawns
time advantaged on-line blitz wrongs
decorating squares gongs occupied
baud rate intentions playin
sloop plans of Clauswitz
woke brown bear and timeshares
erasing data bit foes
strong poems everyone knows
went belly up
dead chess games floatin
not even honorable mentions
restored twitterhood dignity with pawns promotin.

For God So Loved the World That He Gave His Only Begotten Son ( the poem)

He said that "Those who saved their life would lose it"
one must follow the Lord before all others
family, friends and country

In the service of God the Lord Jesus took the cross
and walked through fists, whips and hate
to the place of the skull for the lost
where he was crucified for you and I

Mankind is born of original sin
with nothing to gain and nothing to win
undeserving of redemption God still found a way
to reconcile the lost to eternal life in Jesus's day

A blood sacrifice of atonement
a substitute for man
the blood of the Lord was shed
in the fate of divine plan

That whosoever  believes in Him
Shall not perish and have eternal life
in resurrection from the forever sleep
- Jesus took upon Himself
for those of faith
the penalty of death for mankinds' sin.

The Secret Whisper (a poem)

The ocean whispers
a secret to the mountains-
it shall overcome.

Day in the Life of Grass (a poem)

Grass facing blades
sharp scythes of time
settle in to nowhere
pharmaceutical advertisers mime

Rising to eternal life
for sheep God and Jesus always are
good shepherds through uncertainty
over a world beneath the stars

Compositions of creation willed to being
become faith in matters too transcendent
to be completed by Earthly residents
without calculations infinitely foreseeing

Those in power increase each hour
as the poor must slowly fade
at the day of judgment when riches sour
the saved find to election they were made.

Rising to Oblivion (a poem)

Mankind builds externalities toward the sky
pollution swells from ground up
saturated dreams with pork pies

  Yet one cannot wait
'till the perfect compiling fate
design emulates perfection
with constructions rising like confections

  Everywhere works may rise
fabricating pipes and convoluting beams
wolfram’s pressured productive beans
covering the ground of nature’s prize

Insinuating the fabric of nature with skill
into structures with human will
growing heritage like whiskey bred
where hubris' sill left again eschewed

  Lunch at phenomenal constructed places
removed from the future with forgotten faces
places where wars were living hells
replaced with the glory of cathedral bells.

Settling In (poem)

Vespucci town proper
is on a riverbank
where time cuts deeper
flowing through a grand canyon

Insinuating liberty 'mid traps
free wildlife die
wild buildings rise
in God we trust.

Army boots slip a dozen Times (the poem)

Army boots slip a dozen times
on the sidewalk recently scraped
falling flat on the back
nothing cracked

Over the bridges and through the park
making way before daylight turned dark
the frostbitten souls
weren't into fire tossed
hooligans fussed
nothing chilling was lost

Lines of travellers
inside open doors
where minutes of warmth bought
respite from freezing cold

Into the streets from tents set alone
degrees below zero
it wasn't  homeless in Nome
frozen breath ice crystal shown

With existential memories of ledges
and snow covered hedges
seven thousand endangered wolves sharing
an Archipelagos' snairs

Infrared sensors and game cams eschew
freedom of the homeless to find places to be
when insiders own every magnified clue
to locate the homeless yet free

Anchorage for lives in the waning winter
when spring sun grows stronger
over charcoals like sinter
with darker days gone past.

Lies for Some are Easy (the poem)

Lies for some are easy
it is the truth that isn't breezy
describing for-others what one knows
relying upon reason and vision troves
words describe objects and relations uncertain
behind veils of unknowing; without labels showing
words aren't the things themselves
metaphorized in wandering poems
where inaccuracies and half truths form
word string falsehoods that equal lies.

Veganism Experienced Inflated Food Prices Too

Apparently there are two major branches of veganism; dietary and ethical. The first is for health and the latter to stop cruelty to animals....
