under snow the grown

Muskeg grows all over the ground
forests rise up to wind knock down
trees die, more remain
strong in driving rain
not in vain
green grows plain

Eagles scan a forest below
looking for prey, something they know
snow battles uphill to the sky
warm flows share more dry
in death lie
eco foes.
