Deon Sanders has signed on to lead the Colorado Buffaloes. The University of Colorado has been on hard times for quite a while and needed a kick start to get the engine running. Not that they were ever an elite team although Coach McCartney went 11-1 and won an Orange bowl in 1990.

Coach Sanders won two national titles in a lower division and probably will find success at Colorado, itself a good location to advance further uphill to an NFL head coaching job with the Broncos if he can make the Buffaloes an elite team or win the national title a couple of years.
