Senatorial Integrity, Ted Kaczynski, Covid 19, Ethics

 In my opinion few senators have excellent ideas- that is caused by not knowing any better. They are not, in other words simply suppressing good ideas or wrong ideas and promoting bad ones. They do what they believe is right although its wrong sometimes. Maybe there is a sliding scale of ethics in government- ethical relativism as it were.

What if some Democrat with a PhD in biology who is an atheist and total global warming kool-aid imbiber believed that another Trump administration would bring about the end of the world because of Trump policies; so like Ted Kaczynski, an environmental activist known as the unibomber, he or she decided to take direction action and sabotage the booming economy based on fossil fuel liberation after the last best hope of getting rid of Trump before the second term failed (that was the Russian collusion fiasco). Direct action would be collusion with the Chinese perhaps, or developing the Covid 19 virus from samples exfiltrated from Wuhan’s bio lab level 3 facility and taking the virus from America to China and releasing it in the market near the lab.

Knowing the virus would swiftly reach the U.S.A. and sabotage the economy, the unknown agent of evil would melt back into his job and process germs in Atlanta or wherever while Trump is blaming the Chinese and being impeached a second time. If that unlikely scenario were true or not, Democrats in Congress would not investigate the possibility of Chinese collusion to elect Joe Biden or anything like that and would attack such ‘extremist’ views. Would that be integrity or consistent political behavior these days.

Plainly the appearance of Covid 19 destroyed the President’s economic management and prospects for re-election that appeared likely in spite of the years of Democrat accusations concerning Russia. Would libertarian, open-sourced co-op social media offset corporate social media censors?

 The problems of social media sites that are owned by corporations concerning censorship are innumerable. It is thus surprising that more libertarian social media sites publicly owned and maintained by users that are quite tolerant of free speech don’t much exist so far as I know.

Social media content tends to disappear over time if it isn’t what the owners regard as helpful to their political or corporate benefit. That creates big headaches for people with their content deleted. Some of the M.S.M. would say it is extremism that is being deleted, and of course they define for-themselves what extremism is. History and social media is made by the victors and wealthy corporate deep pocket owners.

Citizens need reliable public social media infrastructure so they can write whatever they like without concern for it disappearing They should be assured that it will last for decades. Social media should not be an elite media that is filtered by various exclusive others to further their political interests. It is amusing that even the left these days positively chortle when writing to someone being censored that the social media is private so they can do whatever they like and bite it therefor- get a lawyer if you want (corporate media can afford lawyers more so than private citizens of lesser means). So long as corporate social media supports all of the basic leftist planks of abortion, homosexuality, legal dope and so forth the left are happy sycophants in building the repression of free speech in the U.S.A. The defense of freedom sometimes requires the public sector to act when the private sector isn’t capable of providing necessary social media themselves. It may always be the case that intelligence that is excellent seems extreme to the average Joe Stalins and Adolph Eichmanns occupying the banal center political stage where sycophancy works best. If all ideas are freely expressed rather than repressed then people can at least encounter good ideas as well as average, heavily cloned concepts.

 It’s very hard to predict what would occur in the paradigm of deep economic depression concerning prisons. The Biden administration has said it will eliminate private prisons and create, I would guess, state-operated union job staffed facilities. Those have a sliding investment allocation in regard to how much is spent on prisons and prisoners. One may invest little or nothing and yet keep people in jail- look at how little Vietnamese P.O.W. camps for Americans cost the communists. Obviously reform is need on a large scale that would reduce costs before an economic crash.

Prison reform is one of the areas of governance that has a lot of expense and not enough new ideas. Computer c.p.u.’s improve from one generation to the next (about a year and a half) yet some human institutions never really get much more efficient at rehabilitating criminals. Plainly some prisoners were imprisoned in the reconstruction era in order to provide free or cheap convict labor, and some social classes prosper when an underclass requires much incarceration and supervision. Those are complex social problems that persist along with original sin and the challenges of making pervasive institutional improvements politically.

Plato's opinion against poetry; justified?

 So much knowledge is lost to history. Perhaps the basic reason why Sumerian clay tablets and cuneiform are thought to be the start of writing is that no one else that wrote before had a good portable medium for writing that would last the ages. It may not be simply coincidental that the first writing discovered in history started where there was clay for tablets and writing hard copy followed by a recession of sea level and desertification of Sumer and Ur so people would leave and writing would lay safely buried in sand until discovery. Perhaps that was natural selection and writing on portable mediums like goat skin faded away in weather at some unknown location. History does not provide us with knowledge about content of all of the crude poems publicly recited in Athenian Greece of Plato’s day- maybe some of it was quite vulgar and luckily lost to posterity.

Yet of poetry that existed then (and I am not an expert on that or even on Plato’s writing), I believe Sappho and Pindar were the greatest of the classical era. Poetry though usual was in the form of plays perhaps, and some of the plays of the majors performed then may have been offensive politically and socially to Plato. Since Plato wrote prose- quite non-lyrical, he may have regarded the natural divide between himself and lyric poets in literature more along the paradigmatic axis (meaning) rather than the syntagmatic axis (of form). I doubt that if a lyric poet of his day wrote an ode to oligarchy (Plato-Socrates preferred oligarchy over democracy) that Plato would have been so peeved.

Democracy definitely has problems and runs toward irrationality on occasion. Plato’s Republic (or that of Socrates) was an ideal state comparatively, in theory. Someone wrote that the French would say that some things work in practice but not in theory- The Republic of theory may not alternately work in practice. Plato and Socrates would have wanted society to at least work for an ideal state however, and I can sympathize with the concept that the United States would be a much better place with more logic, understanding and effort to make an ideal state rather than to just it go and trust in the blind, invisible hand of capitalism. Seventy years after the Green revolution people continue to starve periodically on Earth- should one just rely on Adam Smith’s paradigm to relieve famines or to react to them?

Comparing Plato's soul and Freud's psyche

 Plato and Freud’s concepts respectively of the soul and the psyche can be compared. That is a good question. Each has three distinct parts; appetite spirit, and reason versus id, ego, and superego. Each has an etymology from psyche in Greek.

Plato’s troika is eternal while Freud’s is a temporal process (presumably). Neither has a purely material or physical existence although they occur in the matter of the brain. Each appear to be a way of classifying characteristics of human experience that today might be explained away through entirely material processes, yet one might also explain away matter through quantum phenomena like the Higgs field as well leaving nothing besides spirit at the heart of anything (in a sense like that of Leibnitz and his one-dimension spiritual monads could be taken as representative of a member of a set of theoretical spiritual structures sustaining energy).

Modern moral acts

 In my opinion morally acceptable acts (for those are determined by social consensus) are usual therefore immoral acts are easier to define. For example, if A through Z behaviors are regarded as moral, and numbers -1…-10 are immoral behaviors, in a book full of letters the numbers stand out so even speed readers can see them.

Because morality is defined by actual social behavior that passes without substantive reproof when the majority is wrong about the right or wrongness of moral acts good and moral acts may be punished and immoral acts rewarded.

Socrates noted a particular kind of situation in a different context- one where a completely evil guy is enriched, promoted and admired socially though he has a hidden side of wickedness unknown to the public, and the public is fooled into believing the fellow is a paragon of goodness.

If there are transcendent moral systems, rule based, that are absolute, deontological duties given by God (actually) then failure to cohere within moral norms have a high possibility of eternal or significant negative reinforcement. If morality is determined by ruling pejorative political opinions that Democrats, for instance, or Chief Justice Roberts force upon the public with the help of the corporate world who enjoy manipulating the public perhaps into easy compliance with behaviors that reinforcement social stratification through the concentration of wealth, then negative reinforcement may be more proximal in regard pejoratively defined immoral behavior such as writing publicly in opposition to homosexual marriage.

Cancelling moral norms of thousands of years longevity as functions and derivatives of evolution theory and population density globally may be approved for various political and economic reasons as simple ways to evolve political economy democratically (nominally at least though it is forced by elites). Relatively abstractly designed artificial new moral norms engineered to advance temporal political economics may have unintended consequences of less than optimal substance in comparison to moral criteria satisfying all sides or most sides concerned with important moral issues.

The First Poet

Humanity did not begin thinking with the invention of writing. Actually humans were able to think as long ago as 100,000 B.C.E. Besides inventing spears they may have invented thought with recurrent word patterns and phrases, for they were able to think with more than onomatopoeic grunts. Things like “you put the lime in the coconut, mix them both up, put the lime in the coconut, drink them together”…repeat. Early recurrent or rhyming phrases could be as old as art. Apparently recent discoveries have been made that indicate Neanderthals may have painted cave art too.

There were oral traditions in numerous cultures (notably Semitic) of keeping history in something like verse because that is easier to remember and probably preceded the invention of writing. Arabs were keeping such histories unto the time of Mohammed. British bards wondered about with historic, entertaining neo-truths for performance long before literacy became ubiquitous At least one prisoner in the Soviet Gulag used the same method according to Solzhenitsyn, writing thousands of lines with clever first letter in order line keys to help recall the content.

Those first letter keys are considered acrostics and have occurred at least as early as the court of Solomon in the 10th century B.C. Acrostics in the Hebrew Bible The verses of proverbs may be regarded as actual poetry. Maybe Solomon was the first literary poet, Oral poetry would have found the use of clever poetic feet challenging, and thus it is slow to appear in history and is found first in the Hebrew Bible perhaps, and later is developed more fully with the ancient Greek poets.

Enheduanna of the ancient civilization of Sumer is sometimes credited with being the first poet because the Sumerians invented writing circa the 30th century B.C.E. (although I seem to recall reading somewhere that fragments of the Gilgamesh epic were dated to the 4th century B.C.E. and maybe the 5th). She wrote hymns to a pagan deity. Sumerians were able to write on clay tablets for posterity.

The wikipedia article on Sumerian literature leaves the verdict on Sumerian poetry open; there isn’t enough evidence to form an open on the hymns of Erheduanna or other Sumerians being verse and poetry though they might have been couplets etc.

Egalitarianism of knowledge in heaven?

 Socrates said once that ‘he knows that he knows nothing’. Socrates was wise in his philosophical opinion for numerous reasons. God is the one who knows.

The closer a soul draws unto God, I would think the greater the marvel at who He is. The Apostle Paul once wrote (1 Corinthians 2:2)…” I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.”

It may be that knowledge of God is all, and the rest merely details, as Einstein said ("I am not interested in this phenomenon or that phenomenon," Einstein had said earlier in his life. "I want to know God's thoughts – the rest are mere details”).

There may be a certain egalitarianism in heaven. Knowledge of God is where one stands in relation to the light of the world (Jesus Christ) . How much light one receives in heaven where there is no day or night probably is constant for all, for God is the source of all (revelation 22:5 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.) God is constant and eternal.

The Western States aren't better at human rights

 Freedom from government networks of oppression were usual in less populous American states. There was of course a great tradition of enslaving Americans that were not white in the save states of course, and traditional oppression continued after the civil war in newly evolved political vehicles.

Social conformity has always been a big factor an is a ubiquitous, omnipresent, existential threat to free citizenry. In my opinion western states have tended to oppress human rights when they have evolved a redefining of them as largely pertaining to particular special interest groups traditional, so far, called minorities (they are an emergent minority in western states). Civil rights may be something of a revolving door with practical temporal oppression of individuals and groups the colonizing majority power has over the minority-whosever they are in a given epoch.

Western states oppressed rebellious aboriginal Americans and their occasional insurrections out west and were mostly populated with white people who had the best human rights in planetary history debatably. Over the span of a few decades the population of minorities has increased and will continue and human rights have been changed in a sense to mean non-white rights. Marriage was adulterated with homosexual marriage, abortion ‘rights’ murdered the unborn by the tens of millions and the rise of global corporatism suppressed free political speech in social media. As history is defined by the victors so is free speech that is allowed to be spoken defined by the insider power majority.

The failure of politicians of the western states to clarify the point that all human and civil rights made as a universal law need to be consistent with Immanuel Kant’s categorical imperative has biased democracy in the west against objective freedom for individuals. Neither have the politics of the west defended the states against the subversion of state and federal independence from concentrated wealth that controls elections in a real sense through the cost of running for office.

 Citizens are increasingly free to be corporate sycophants and political servo-units of one of the numerous ad hoc evil empires rising within the United States. They are being developed to be godless animals of imperialism- a problem of any densely populated society with social stratification infused with unsound derivative ideologies from scientific evolution.

Chapter 1 In Seven Hundred and Twenty-Two Saint Begorah Sailed the Ocean Blue

A loud raven caw crossed space disrupted the domination of subtle chirp birds in the bush.. The big black bird sounded friendly to Kurt like bright afternoon sunshine unconcerned with the splattered state of the world .When perceived the black feathers for others absorbed photons though the color for-itself uninterpreted by human eyes was as empty as the heart of darkness passing through local time. Kurt Shooter heard the raven sound on many continents and latitudes of the Y’earth planet. He recognized the intelligent bird as a compatriot being. It was good to hear the sound in thornish scrub desert brambles on a Composition Nine travelers world. Partially decomposed bodies littered the landscape complicating contemporary history. Shooter’s immediate task was to sort out the evidence of the place assigned by Delta Taco Tier One. Activating Shooter was the prerogative of the independent security consortium of the constellation of dwindled worlds seeking to keep a semblance of freedom from one of many evil empires littering the Universe.

Shooter understood that when God created a Universe it was developed in a two dimensional line of energy that was expanded to three dimensions like a membrane with the addition of a Higgs field. Stretching the line energy out over three dimensions made a Higgs Field of virtual energy of vast extent. Within the Higgs field might arise three-dimensional particles from the two dimensional massless particles of the field itself as they became tangled up in the field overlapping themselves and bringing in to being the affect of three dimensional particles with mass from massless two-dimensional particles. In such a way a Universe was born as George Lemater and Allan Guth had speculated about in the days before the discovery of the nature of the field. An infinite number of Universe membrane files existed next to one another in the special Modge Panc cabinet of teleological design. Each membrane could entail a limitless number of contingent dimensions and branches for spun-off Universes. Sometimes wickedness broke out interdimensionally within these Universes and slaughters of innocents and not-so-innocents and downright wicked beings occurred. Then, Kurt Shooter or some other Tier three operators was assigned to sort out and interdict if possible for preventative and merciful reasons those perpetrators and causes that had brought the shift into beaning.

The corpses were strewn in a rough perimeter and obviously had been posthumously munched on by Claxsop spiders that lived amid the dense foliage along the winding desert river. The Livid River had scoured out a valley overlapping centuries with the work of abrasive erosion. A few flying defense drones resembling wrens still glowed with blue light though inactive and broken around the scene of the last stand of a Bankop squad. Shooter looked around for sign of alien opposition forces, then used a field sensor to scan for elector-magnetic and visual presences of biological and mechanisms. He wondered what haters could have terminated the journey banker-warrior squad. So he found a good sized boulder to set down upon then built a lush global warming campfire to heat a cup of highland coffee to a scalding degree to take the edge of the experience.

He knew that some investigators had developed psychological trauma that reverberated around their minds from seeing such travesties and was therefor took defensive countermeasures measures to prevent p.t.e.d. A memory of Mistress Sally making a stimulus check on him verbed up from the deep; they'd shared r.e.m. and she do'oothed him right on the spot. He reminded himself not to be distracted thinking about the past too much in the field when Ever-naw could be advancing toward their quarry beyond his field of vision. Dlive, Kurt's emotional support coyote, rested on the ground looking outward toward likely enemy avenues of approach.

Kurt wanted to consider the motivations that could have prompted the mini-battle that was a last stand for the banker-squad. Forming ideas that would arise from his subconscious mind into awareness he knew, could be induced by putting his thought onto so other topic during which the unrelated solutions or suggestions of solution might appear from the depths. His head-band guarded against impacts with a layer of battery gel stuffed with intelligent nano-machine electronics and communication structures. He said to it;-”Play the video about the guy seeking the American dream of building and owning his own storage shed.”

A flying square of liquid crustal display appeared to hover in front of his eyes a couple of feet distant presenting the movie on a ten inch screen. The gell could emit numerous shapes and reclaim the substance from the form when the use was finished. Kurt watched Pedro Cordoba carrying lumber on his shoulder through a dark forest walking uphill and crossing muskeg bog over and over again reminding him of the myth of Sysyphus, yet in time a storage shed began to form at the top of the trail. The winter struck and the little building was buried under snow and ice. The Neo-KGB discerned his activity in the forest and sent legions of harpies to impede his attempt to build the American dream. Pedro suffered a dislocated should and then a torn rotator cuff and left for the winter in a small open boat from the edge of the forest traveling down the coast a couple of hundred miles. The further adventures of Pedro interested Shooter, yet he had pressing details to look at over the killing ground, so he finished the last of the coffee, got up and walked about the area stopping at a pile of remains. The bankop operative's remains had a residual glow about them that indicated to Kurt that he had recently been in a capital accumulation vault that marked workers with silo-dye. There were just a few facilities in the galaxy able to afford the process of infusing quark-dye into the epidermis of visitors.

Kurt was a skeptic concerning the prospects for improvements to the character of the human species that were publicized whenever new facts or speculation about Higgs field related discoveries were made. Gravity occurs at light speed, and that would be natural if light speed is the norm for massless particle-waves or energy not slowed down to three dimensions. When energy becomes entangled from two dimensions to three and becomes embedded in a steady state in the Higgs Field, the aggregation of mass in the field reshapes the field and draws other mass toward it in field curvature. The field itself may act at the speed of light and create the appearance of gravity acting at the speed of light. If the field is expanding or is something is acting upon the field that isn’t of the three dimensional mass the Higgs Field could seem to be causing space to expand. There is an obvious way to regard that condition though; aggregation of mass that causes the Field to warp and attract mass may reciprocally expand space of the field bereft of elements of the field drawn in the Higgs Field and mass interactive aggregation situation.

Gravity is a marvelous thing. If it is an appearance because people see through a glass darkly embedded in the mass of particle-waves slowed down to sub-light speed in the Higgs Field, humans at least have the promise of discovering how it arises some day. Like the time when Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son Isaac by God, and Abraham showed he had such faith in God existing so as to be regarded as worthy of the promise, the appearance of gravity on this side of the cloud of unknowing may someday be rewarded by the saving grace of truth appearing; as when God sacrificed His Son Jesus Christ to save all of those of faith. The truth will set gravity theorists free.

Chinese economics aren't helped much by communist repression

Chinese have always had good enough economics over a few thousand years of history. In my opinion free enterprise individualism and free speech uncensored by entrenched powers create better economics than oppressive regimes. Obviously China has an aggression problem seeking to expand in Tibet and the South China Sea trampling over the interests of locals and many nations today as it has in the past.

China has been helped a lot by the west in recent decades (since Richard Nixon) that sought to invest there. Because capital increases at a faster pace than wages it doesn’t take a genius to realize that partnering in Chinese business will increase capital returns faster than wages rise and need to be paid out to workers. Therefore China not only buys products from the west they also pay in capital to investors. Investing in China has been a regular stampede fulfilling Lenin’s maxim that “we will sell the capitalists the rope we hang them with”.

I have much confidence though that human nature and original sin will muck things up effectively enough to create repression in the west as well as China in the future and that conflicts will overtake reason working for prosperity, peace and spiritual freedom in a free enterprise evolution with limited capital accumulation by anyone (in order to prevent the oppression of a minority with too great of a concentration of wealth).
