Pluck the Day

Retrospection. A google search of carpe diem relates that literally it means ‘pluck the day’ rather than the usual ‘seize the day’. Once plucked the day is on a timer with limited life. Perhaps observation of the present differs from plucking the present part of a temporal exstasis. The latter is sort of a collapse of the Schrodinger wave function.
