Dendrites’ Cluttered in the Eco-brain (poem)

Top-down places are nodes
complex constructions strung together
clutters to cancel culture
first would be last
the last first following
each  clever, historical jumble
of lettered streets rumbling
boom boxed buildings
exhausted constraints
those straight and narrow lanes
fettered Heraclitan refrains
coursing unsustainable rivers of cars
passed each moment
beneath the stars
like that World War Two brawl
D-Day like today never called
tomorrow or yesterday’s impressionist compresence
changed around the edge
resembling degrees of difference

new and old life temporized
so bold drivers pause
at the ledge of the past
waiting in idle mode, fast
connected interstate dendrites
oiled autos break an eco-brain’s gray matter
transitioning to necropsistic tunnel vision
encroaching evolution
painless shelf networks
synaptic Warholian dream dreams
sign the times in one place
a self-determined human race
designing undesigned
incomplete entropic chaos
pipes flow with creditopia
gas leaks in the dendrites
cluttered eco-brain decay
reflect beautiful sunrises and sets
burning the eco-brain green flames.

James Lovelock created the Gaia hypothesis that the ecosphere of the planet is semi-sentient at least so far as to comprise S/R (stimulus-response) loops. Could human society be the brain of the planet with cities acting like neurons and freeways and roads as dendrites and axons? If humanity is stupid and poisons the gray matter of the ecobrain killing off the ecosphere and running clutter through it, can intelligence be improved so the brain is smarter keeping the ecosphere healthy?
