Retire Shuttles to Space/Gravity

With the shuttle fleet set to retire in 2010 plans should be made to recycle them for permanent existence in space instead of gathering dust at a museum in Arizona. Open and competitive bidding on proposals to refit and deploy the shuttles should be structured soon.

Some ideas include:

· 1) Refitting for space-station to lunar orbit shuttling
· 2) Relocation to L3 and L5 for emergency and storage shelters
· 3) Adaptation for deposit on the moon as shelters or spare parts clumps
· 4) Adapt a shuttle for permanent space orbit between Mars and Earth

N.A.S.A. should develop a recycling ethos using every piece of equipment, as did the plains Indians use every part of the buffalo.

It may be that all clumps of mass in the Universe can be given a value specifically representing there gravity, and that the combined values of all the stars, planets and other mass in the universe can be considered in relation to space, the curvature of space by gravity and if it will cluster/compact over the given area of space overcoming distance. Gravity, may exert its power upon a Higgs Field (or vice versa) underlying the universe, and that field or unknown field could be represented by a value called a ‘cosmological constant’ that supports the 4 dimensional appearance of curved space in a gravitational field: matter in the field just interacts with the properties of the field.

The Earth is the center of the Earth majority local gravitational field, and the moon is its major minority. Democracies may be designed to have rule by the poor, yet gravitational systems are ruled by relation to the Higgs field and the location of the mass relatively withon. The Earth’s G-Field value is contained within a metagravitational field with sundry levels of protocol, perhaps with an unknown ‘center’( inversely located in another universe perhaps) because of the latent superluminal potential of a Higgs Field (that is believed by some to have inflated the Universe in its own field characteristics at superluminal speed in the first ten to the negative 35th second of the existence of the Universe), and the contiguous interacting localities of the field interacting with mass and motion in the 4 dimensions to seem to be gravity.

Moving the space shuttles to final rest in Mars-Earth orbit or upon the Sea of Tranquility will require some intellectual heavy lifting by American scientists and engineers as well as contractors, yet overcoming the bureaucratic lethargy would be a worthwhile taxpayer exercise to get more bang for the buck.

Fed Neo-Corporatists Seige U.S. Library Readers Privacy

The Attorney General said Sunday the Fed’s desire to completely violate library patron privacy and violate the first amendment of the U.S. Constitution categorically is an effort to surveil or plant spyuware on public library computers potential used by terrorists to disrupt their communication infrastructure by denying the use of libraries as ‘safe havens’ for terrorists and as a collateral target, American intellectuals; private citizens building intellectual capital in privacy and other non-subjugated minions of trans-national neo-corporatism walloing in an oily tradition of Benito Mussolini.

Administration policy to undermine American economic security and independence from trans-national control may be discerned in the application of a Trojan Horse modified Faketriot Act to allow slow learning federal thugs to discover what books intelligent readers are checking out of public libraries. One can always buy my books from the internet bookstores, of course, if too fearful of making the F.B.I.’s tope ten readers list.

Administration goals to grossly violate the nation’s right to read books from libraries without federal bureaucrats gaining knowledge of what books what citizens have read is consistent with the goals of wanna-be Banana Republic style dictators, Stalins, Hitlers, Idi Amins and neo-corporatist political pimps. They have the noise tool of media broadcasting that Ceasar regarded (hearing) as the most vulnerable of human senses; the media may brainwash and though program the masses ad nauses making more inroads for neo-Corporatist and federal control of private lives and private interests.

Presently many public libraries do not require an electronic smart card for computer use, and ask for no ID in some cities. A broad application of a Patriot Act to include all library records would be of no use at all in wiretapping the computers for communications in those cases, and is simply a specious Trojan horse pretext to put the neo-corporatists into the private intellectual capital data bases of all Library users.

Most federal judges would give the Department of Homeland Security wiretap warrants for public computers specifically used by terrorists. The administration seems to believe Congress such a collection of reformed drunks that it would simply dump all libraries into a universal bill tom outsource U.S. Privacy to neo-corporatist trans-nationals that are more of a danger to U.S. independence than the plain Saudi bombers that are affiliated with a family member of an investor in the President’s former oil business.

The trans-nationalist party has no right to know if a Patron reads Bill Clinton’sMy Lie’, George W. Bush’sWorkouts and Cookouts of Waco’, or ‘Oz’s Harrowing Potty’, politics and inventions require private reading without federal awareness. The broad application of a N.E. Patriot Act won’t be sweet to traditionalist revolutionaries in cowboy country able to read the constitution. Folks have bled for those rights and amendments that the administration assaults with ferocity. They shouldn’t be left to perish in a desert of imagination and infrastructure decay.

Making the F.B.I.'s Top Ten Readers List

A few more words on the Push administration’s apparent desire to implement a Khmer Rouge style leverage on American intellectuals by invading the data banks at all U.S. Libraries to discover what the citizens are reading. I have used the Khmer Rouge epithet because they too had a disdain for intellectuals and intellectual liberty. The administration seemingly seeks to intimidate Americans that check out library books and intimidate them into not checking out certain books for fear that the Department of Transnational Security will identify them through mass database searches and place them on a list of suspect citizens known to read controversial books that could lead to free thought.

The administration as a neo-corporatist power might seek to advantage ignorant and illiterate citizens that blindly follow with nose in the Elephant’s rear neo-corporatist will to drill oil, redistribute U.S. wealth to OPEC nations and consolidate the concentration of national wealth in one-tenth of one percent of the people of the United States for about 7% to perhaps 10% or 15%.

The administration allowed 538,000 jobs to be cut in the U.S.A. in the first half of 2005; many were good paying manufacturing jobs.

Gutting the spirit of the first amendment to survey the reading of all citizens that use public libraries may give trans-nationalists a boost up and identifying and subduing American intellectuals over the next 50 years—it’s a corrupt and dangerous practice that will do virtually nothing to discover the alleged Al Qa’eda bookworm.

In attacking the spirit of the first amendment the administration will need to monitor all college libraries to discover what biology students are reading up on pathogens, and physics students on nuclear and quantum mechanics and perhaps take them in for interrogation…yet the students are simply striving for that A grade I’d guess.

Al Qa’eda seems to utilize primary instruction facilities such as flight schools, and making suspects out of college students before any crime has been committed violates the essential premises of justice. If the Bush administration wasn’t so ignorant spiritually its actions might not be so untrusted as simple crude hatchet jobs on American civil liberties. There are better ways to make armadillo barbeque than to eliminate intellectual freedom in the U.S.A.

There are innumerable individuals that research any number of different reading materials in libraries for sundry reasons; anti-intellectuals with a list of dangerous books in government should not begin the process of intimidating library patrons, the government might reasonably ban all proscribed and potentially dangerous books from libraries in the U.S.A. instead of laying out snares that the unwary might step into and become the F.B.I.’s ‘armadillo stew’.

The administration usually isn’t so noted for what it does as for what it doesn’t do. The nation’s infrastructure is rotting and the federal expenses are largely transfer payments to neo-corporatists. At least the administration wasn’t able to get a tort ‘reform’ bill through congress and into law that would eliminate the citizen’s class action defenses against royally rich trans-national corporations that could just tramp with elephants feet all over the mousy citizens of the United States afraid to check out books on quantum mechanics, radiation, biology, engineering or whatever.

If the President’s desire to make trans-national corporations bullet proof were to be enacted international drug manufacturers might experiment with the U.S. public effectively with experimental drugs with potentially dangerous side effects, or even with biological control pharmaceuticals, and be quite free from concern about punitive class action lawsuits.

Some Existential Criteria of Epistemology, Cosmology and Belief

A few words about philosophy in general would be in order first, I suppose...

The universe has one basic issue that philosophers have addressed for 3000 years...is it made of one substance, and is it thus monistic? Can there be different basic substances; that is can there be a true pluralism, and is that even logical?

If there were two absolutely different substances, or unified fields in modern terms of physics, would it require different universes for each to be in, of, as?

God as three persons in the Christian's trinity recognizes the implicit oneness and pluralism that is paralleled in the essential requirements for the existence of objects in this universe that are simultaneously just one substance in many forms. Non-Christians have trouble historically digressing into worship of the forms and not God for-himself through his designated agent of salvation Jesus Christ.

It is notable that three objects are required if one is tow describe relative motion of any sort of objects at all.

Physics postulates just one unified field, perhaps all the stars and galaxies of the Universe and possible adjacent universes are various temporal forms of it that one could call 'objects' comprising a contingent in-protocol, hierarchical pluralism. Everything that exists in this universe follows from the creation or source as well as the ongoing unified physical field that supports it.

Some physicists would delete any mention or investigation of a purposeful creation of the Universe from their thought. They would deny that there could be any way to examine the veracity of their notions, and allow an intrinsic and cultivated bias to grow into economic and political realms of support for atheist ascendancy on earth. They would limit cosmological though to somewhat contiguous observable events and eliminate virtually any references from physics that could lead into questions or considerations with the criterion of an intelligent designer of this Universe that has given actual guidelines and rules for the users of it.

Ratiocination and rationality implicitly occur within an existential criterion of being. Individuals think and make categorical judgments within that criterion. Positive rewards or feedback regarding correspondence of hypothesis, observational testing and conclusion guide trust in the veracity of the rational paradigm. One must provide a metaphysical leap of faith without sound empirical basis in order to give anything other than a temporary and conditional, subjective value to the results of whatever belief one has tested and found a conclusion for. It is not possible to give some sort of absolute or transcendent truth value to subjective, empirical beliefs. Testable hypothesis simply provide answers to problems in such a way that one can say that the results are functional or effective in the present criterion empirically or existentially.

One should be aware that paleontologists speculated that life began on Earth 2600 million years before present, while the time of the age of the Biblical patriarchs from Adam to Noah after the flood, multiplied by Peter's value of one day to God being equal to a thousand years is about 2500 million years before present. Adamas in Semitic languages such as Arabic meant 'brown dirt' initially.

One can review the pre-Socratic philosophers set the agenda for much of the next 2700 years of speculation about the cosmos. Incidentally recently I wrote a book named 'Creation and Cosmos; The Literal Values of Genesis'.

The page just went down today for a while; I got a warning from the physics forum yesterday about mentioning the word 'intelligent design'...some may have an unwonted bias for dumb design or natural gift universe with mankind at the top of the evolutionary rung in the Universe unchallenged by the existence anyone smarter, more powerful and good.

Aristotle invented classical logic, yet it wasn't until the 19th century that Frege invented symbolic logic. That allowed linguistic philosophy to develop including some researches about language and the nature of language use in science; thus in and out are subjective terms and not absolute values (one is always simultaneously in one thing and out of something else I suppose.

God in the Bible has indicated that the supreme value for human beings seems to be one of relationships and especially with Him rather than in the mass or energy of the universe. There was a philosopher named C.D. Broad that wrote a book titled 'The Mind and It's Place in Nature', yet that was nearly a hundred years ago and much advances in learning has occurred. Mind is a co evolutionary product of mass energy with the ability to transcend aspects of being for-itself with creative thought. It's realm of existence is the brain and environment proximally adjacent, yet the entire universe is cut of one cloth and mind/brain is influenced by things from gravity to temperature, cosmic travel speed and etc. A soul is the entire phenomena of a human life being alive. God has the coordinates to reassemble it should be choose to someday.

Some questions hit the beach of many topics that require years to learn more about, just mentioning Kant and the Critique of Pure Reason as well as P.F. Strawson's 'Individuals'. You might read the neo-Platonist writer Plotinus for an idea about the similarity between mystic experiences of Greeks of the 7th century in order to compare it to the priestly notions from the Vedas regarding the nature of God. I recommend always keeping a little Gideon’s Bible with you for life.

Now to these other topic...

Philosophical Criteria of Cosmology and Mass Acceleration

... regarding the nature of the cosmos. One might simply leave off Universal speculations of ultimate causes with a Brahman style attribution of an ultimate Being of which temporal phenomena are pluralistic and contingent, yet that would be un- (knowledge)scientific and unnecessary.

I’d like to address the question of the nature of God as developed in various faiths on the subject of monotheism briefly. The object of thought about one universal God obviously would tend to elicit similar conceptual development regarding His nature. One may discern in the forerunner of the Hindu religion and the Vedas a development of the notion of Brahman that isn’t entirely dissimilar from the Christian/Jewish ideas about the nature of God. There is one God in each, yet the Christians have three persona or protocol facts of God that are the way human beings incarnate in-the-world relate to the Creator.

The transcendent God of the Hindu belief was originally though of as a transcendent being that is the ground of everything for-himself. He is a Universal deity that allows various temporal forms to exist. He created the universe and world, yet it is contingent being dependent upon His absolute reality. That isn’t too different from the metatheological Christian ideas about God. In fact the Muslim idea of God isn’t very dissimilar either in the monotheistic conception, yet Hinduism over time has added a lot of ‘clutter’ or complicating ancillary elements to the original simple faith as one might expect. Christians have Jesus Christ as the one simple way to relate directly to God and surpass the temporal ‘Maya’ or contingent being of the temporal experience that is fraught with evil pervasively in the form of original sin (a missing the mark of perfection). In the temporal world all must be imperfect and decay with life and death built upon the changes. In an eventual heaven in a perfected realm eternity and perfection will prevail under the guidance of Jesus Christ directly.

In the world theories of knowledge are used in various criteria situations. Some scientists may be dependent upon economic allegiance to atheism form promotions and a priori close out metaphysical and epistemological speculations. That inherent bias is paradoxically similar to some of the middle age sectarian biases against some modernizations of cosmology.

Kant's idea of noumenality may have recognized implicitly the limits that chemical reactions transforming photons and field data into images have; that is vision and perhaps even ratiocination is probably delimited by the criterion of human experience within the Universe...what does a forest look like for-itself when no one is there.

I would not here over-emphasize and stress the points about conjecture that reach into synthetic selection by extra-universal beings of universes that comprise aspects of the unified field of potential and actual universes should they exist...it would be far in advance of present science perhaps to conjecture about what displacement effect the creation of new universes would have on existing universes.

Especially if extra dimension of super-string theory are still theoretical, though there are tests for gravity in extra dimensions pending I recollect, it would be difficult to place ideas about extra-universes and dimensions into testable contexts. Even so...From a philosophical point of view the reversibility of time's order as a physical possibility that recognizes the isotropy of time. The second law of thermodynamics that makes an initial low order of entropy and highest ordered state of a theoretical singularity at a big bang the most probable origin for the flow of mass and time apparently does not require that time flow in a forward direction. Many or most quantum mechanical processes would work equally well mirrored the opposite way. Anti-matter may be isotropically spinning particles (thee was a recent article in Scientific American on that subject).

Pre-big bang conjecture's regarding various infinities as methods to avoid the implausible conundrum of an absolute non-Deistic first cause are aspects of the present ground of speculation available for ordinary social consideration.

The limits to mass acceleration toward light speed with the associated conversion and relations of mass and energy are implicit aspects of the criterion that ordinary people want to consider in order to learn of the nature of the Unified Field that comprises the cosmos. It’s been speculated that the hyper-inflating universe expanded faster than light for a fraction of a second and that allows for the size and age characteristics to be reconciled doesn't it? The Higgs Field allowed light and gravity to exist later when it slowed down to sub-light speed.

Of course I haven't written that well, I was remembering some of the recent popular works such as 'The Fabric of the Cosmos' that have made some interesting points on the area, and hoped to clarify the reason why I wondered about the associated characteristics of mass accelerating with gravity, extra-dimensions and energy.

Gravity rather than being a thing for-itself seems to be a description of the effects that various forms of energy have and how they react or relate in various speed/time configurations? Time, speed of energy and mass of this universe probably have a different nature for-themselves than for-human perceptions and experience within the unified field.

As mass is accelerated toward light speed it may be assumed that relativistic effects give mass toward it perhaps from some field. Yet mass moved toward light speed isn't generally considered from a super-string or M-Theory paradigm is it? It would seem to me, just logically (I enjoy symbolic logic yet that isn't very useful here) that one might infer that mass could force itself into micro-dimensions with the extra speed in part, and that the energy required to accelerate the mass isn't solely the cause of extra mass being added to it to move it toward an infinite value.

The nature of infinities in physical cosmology seems quite interesting and a benefit rather than a detriment to thought experimentation regarding the convertibility of matter and energy within dimensions of time and space.

Matter or mass seems to have the least speed and the most time. Planets, neutron stars and black holes lead a way toward infinities as they develop infinite qualities for-themselves in increasing mass and ability to apparently affect or curve space-dimensions and time.

I suppose one would like to get an A on a report card if Elijah every returns in a cosmic chariot and asks what one has learned or speculated about macro-cosmology (the universal field, like the Kingdom of God lies within it is written).

Just the few, the pre-destined, and the determined get through all of the physics instruction need for that, but that isn't an excuse for slackers to summarily dismiss interest in cosmology.

It isn't known, so far as I'm aware, if the changing forms of the cosmos within the dimension of time comprises an absolute or necessary characteristic of beingness, yet it is required for the form of life that gives rise to intelligence in the context known on Earth.

URL=http://arxiv.org/abs/hep-th/0312327 Three Dimensional Gravity and M-Theory/URL

I didn't want to go too far out in speculating about wormholes (Paul Davies wrote a book on 'How to Build A Time Machine') and or other forms of life, I enjoy writing science fiction and need to build up enough intellectual capital to create some synthetic approaches of potential interest while simultaneously writing some speculative philosophical cosmology.

With intelligent design such a primary aspect of human life on Earth, it would seem against the probabilities to preclude the search or consideration of intelligent design from analytical criteria developed to research or just search the philosophical nature of the Universe. If intelligent life ever existed in any potential universe, and if it did not destroy itself, the learning of physics and cosmology would probably advance it to the stage of intelligently designing universes for-themselves, and of course, I believe that Jesus Christ created this particular one, though that’s an apparent non sequiter for atheists.

The anthropic principle has been treated by some rather well in recent years, yet shouldn't it be a criteria for examining uncertainty at the cosmic scale, as well as a criteria of forming paradigmata for quantum mechanics and unknown macro-cosmic 'borders' that escape definition such as do black holes? What if Shakespeare was correct in writing in Hamlet that all the world's a stage...and in this universe instance it was designed by intelligent beings for some unknown purpose...it would be silly to just rule out the possibility that the magnificent universe could not possibly be artificially designed and constructed.

Philosophical Criteria of Cosmology and Mass Accelleration

With more of a background in philosophy than physics, I still pursue what I can of general questions regarding the nature of the cosmos. Tegmark, Greene, Multiverse, Mass and 'Sticky' Gravity Increasing toward Light Speed

Max Tegmark, Brian Green and others have written about the possibility of multiverses as a continuity from this Universe and the general field of creation. Any comments about that?

If it is possible in theory to create a wormhole to another space-time and 'birth' a pre-designed universe one-day, or if such was already done and universes created by intelligent design came to dominate a finite number of universes through a process of natural selection perhaps better known as synthetic selection (because of the intelligence factor), how would those synthetically designed universes fit into the overall field on universes comprising the natural endowment of universes?

Would synthetic universes displaces pre-exisiting universes potentially?

On a derivative question...Is the Higgs Field underlying the Universe, or are the extra dimensions believed to form a contiguous substratum for it, the cause for the limit on light speed for mass?

Does mass accellerating to light speed completely detach from the extra dimensions and then become infinitely heavy by associating with the dimensions of this universes soley while temporarily severing ties with the extra dimensions, or vice versa?

Creation and Cosmos; The Literal Values of Genesis

My new book ‘Creation and Cosmos; The Literal Values of Genesis’ is now available for general acquisition by booksellers so far as I understand that element the of self-publishing. The book on progressive creation issues is available for readers directly from my ‘factory’ homepage too, at http://www.lulu.com/GaryCGibson

I liked writing the numerous essays for this examination of the interdisciplinary content that is synthesized for comprehension of cosmotheology and cosmiceschatology.

Since the Big Bang theory quite a lot of development has occurred to transcend even that cosmic physics theory that has changed it into one coordinated more with a superstring theory of quantum mechanics, while simultaneously one may read the Bible book of Genesis as well as the rest right on to the book of the Revelation of John of Patmos and get a realization that Bible prophecy and contexts can fit into the modern and changing context of science very well.

The prophet Elija in the 9th century BC revisted the mountain that Moses had received the ten commandments on and had a different internal experience of the presence of God. Sure the wind and weather, and even an earthquake presented, however it was as God spoke to him inwardly that he received the will of the Creator.

Today Christians too may revisit the word of God presented in written form at least since the 10th century B.C. and from Moses hundreds of years earlier, and begin to comprehend it's message within the cosmological paradigm that scientists as seekers of knowledge have discovered the Universe or most vast existential realm to be through observation and reasoned inference.

I hope the reader enjoys my modest effort to contribute to the discussion of this topic.

Junior Won't be Left Holding Rove's Swag Bag

Carl Rove, the President’s Chief of Staff may have gone over the edge in the tradition of Haldeman and Erlichman to use crime for political purposes. Yek what did the President know, and when did he know it?

With the President’s party firmly in control of both houses of Congress the President need not worry about the appointment of a special prosecutor to discover if his Chief of Staff perpetrated a possible felony act to violate national security and divulge the identity of a C.I.A. operative married to Ambassador Wilson that said in an out of goose-step way an African nation wasn’t a source of uranium to the former dictator and irrepressible democidalist leader of Iraq Saddam Hussein. Instead the President, whom may be an accomplice to the felony violation of law that his Chief Rover is associated with perpetrating, can relax at least until after the general election in 2006.

The nation should be aware of the danger in electing a congress that is of the same party as the President; he basically cannot be impeached even if his Chief of Staff stole the family jewels of Mayor Daley and Senator Kennedion.

President Nixon had a far more challenging term of office that did the boomer version of Bush the Elder. Two lame boomer presidents in sequence leads this writer to wonder if the nation can survive a third without continuing moral, infrastructural, financial and security decay. What would John Edwards do if in the President’s shoes, play dumb and count on trans-national corporate advisers to hold sway over public opinion?

In this era when anyone can write on the internet and in effect be a journalist, it is dubious that trans-national corporate employees naming themselves ‘journalists’ should have an exemption from testimony in criminal investigations behind a rubric of ‘free speech’ or some similar dissimulation of constitutional intent. A special citizenship right to exemption from testifying before a grand jury should not be given to trans-national corporatists that can receive a ‘leak’ from any hypothetical treacherous source in government or organized crime. Anyone that rights a blog should have a similar right under the constitutional right to ‘free hearing’ as the trans-nationalists have with CNN, ABC, The AP and so forth.

Must one have a college degree to be qualified as a journalist or employed by a trans-national? Why should hard-working ordinary Americans be denied the right to award themselves the appellation of ‘journalist’. Don’t start expecting President Bush to start singing ‘Swing Low Sweet Chariot’ right away; it’s unlikely that Chief Rove will emerge from behind the cloak of separation of powers to frankly talk about his role if any in risking the career and life of the spook that was shot in the back by some treacherous rat in the administration possibly.

Seriously though Joseph Stalin probably was the first savage to use psychiatric labels for political control, and crimes by politicians have needed to assume a cloak of plausible deniability as media coverage increased at least until the media became corrupted itself. G.W. Bush hasn’t the intellect to originate Nixonian scale civil rights egresses, yet the Patriot Act be exploited by some administration officials to violate civil rights for political purposes; who can say? It’s hard to imagine President Bush as a James Cagney sort of guy, yet one would like the President to say it isn’t so with some credibility even so.

The U.S. Administration's Lazy Energy Policy

GaryCGibson - 01:10pm Jul 12, 2005 EDT By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen hath not been made out of things which appear."-Hebrews 11:3

The administration's lazy reliance on fossil fuels helped create the 26 billion dollar Saudi budget surplus last year. Though they planned for a balanced 2005 budget, with the windfall of $60+ per barrel oil they will probably have a larger budget surplus in 2005. The Saudi’s use part of that money to fund mosque construction in the U.S.A. The following article indicates that of the 1200 mosques built in the last 20 years 80% received Saudi funding. The vast new mosque in Los Angeles was given 18 million dollars for construction by a Saudi prince. That helps expand the realm of the dar al harb into America and established a ness or beachhead for Dar al Islam in the U.S.A.

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=27327

Every day Americans spend and send more than a 100 million dollars abroad to Saudi Arabia for oil producing and more to other oil producing nations and let America's budget deficit grow and grow with interest paid to foreign lenders. Meanwhile the transport infrastructure rots and relies on foreign fossil fuels, while the stupid suggestion of building more nuclear plants is floated by the administration in order to allow more melt-downs should a bio-disaster occur and thus allow the world to be radiologically vanquished for generations with unlimited DNA mutations and mass extinctions.

Actually the administration's research is a way of co-opting present alternative energy development. Research can go on forever, while the infrastructure rots.

The administration's good Communist atheist buddies that will support American atheism have bought UNOCOL to also profit from the administrations lazy reliance on fossil fuel transport and deficit spending. They know a good deal when they see one.

In the administration's silly energy bill, fossil fuel and nuclear are given the lion's share to assure national decay financially while supporting terrorist shareholders in Muslim oil producing nations that deem furtive payouts to al Qa'eda a good investment. I suppose that every dollar the administration throws away on defense against terrorism is a dollar not available for alternative energy development. If the administration would move away directly from fossil fuel as the primary method of U.S. transport funding available for terrorism would decrease too and reduce the need for pork payouts to favorite defense contractors.

The Assault on Liberalism by the Left and Right

A few words about the assault weapons and siege tactics warring upon American liberalism recently: The core of civil liberties that the founders fought and sacrificed to attain for themselves and posterity are known as classical liberal values. Those values include the right for individuals to own property known as private property, and the property of rights regarding social conduct to the end of safeguarding all citizens from tyranny and oppression by anyone or any organization of people foreign or domestic.

America did no originate as a conservative nation. It began as the most liberal nation in the world’s history with the maximum degree of individual civil liberty possible. In the Scylla and Cherybdis of socialism and neocorporatism savaging the sailors of Jason’s argonaught of liberty running right down the center course, the broadcast media and transnational corporations lay siege to exclude or expropriate the concept that the American democracy is afloat on a liberal vessel and turn the tide into a battle of leftists and socialist abetted by debaucherers against neo-moralist quasi-theocratic transnational ‘conservatives’ seeking to conserve the nation’s inheritance by selling the country out to the highest bidders abroad. The socialists and debaucherers that are happy to be awarded the title of ‘liberal’ given by the disingenuous turncoat trans-national neo-corporatist neo-cons; the people are willing to go along with the decay and probable death of American liberalism as if the constitutional principles of the founders were an onerous anachronism to be discarded to disdain as soon as possible.

If the nation’s trans-national talk media assault assisted by unconcerned sycophantic politicians continues to annihilate the meaning of classical civil liberalism instead of defending, clarifying and reinforcing it, the logical outcome of such a choice is an global path toward repression and dehumanization of individual civil liberties as neo-corporatism and socialism each devastating liberalism willingly push people into mass produced global forms without a fundamental individual basis for social political primacy.

4th of July, History and National Character

"Kerry saw very little action in Vietnam, and labored mightily to get sent stateside, probably on a Section 8 psych waiver (his records are sealed).

Back home Kerry's anti-war activities were financed by the Soviet KGB. At the very least, Kerry was a "useful idiot" of communism."

Well, on this last Talk of the Nation thread, I suppose I need something to write about, and as usual Mr. X has provided one of the best topics to write about

Senator Kerry's military record should be covered by the American Disabilities Act if he did have some sort of sopological disorder, yet he probably was sent stateside because of his well-known third Purple Heart award that is a qualifier for the big PX. On the 2nd of July it is better to honor the nation's veterans, rather than to dishonor Silver Star winners with dubious qualifications, self-indicted war-criminal alumni and several months up the river drawing Viet Cong AK 47 and mortar fire.

Actually Moshe Dayan's tour of Vietnam was more interesting. He observed a Korean Company that had been attacked by 3 battalions of N. Vietnamese Regulars, and noted that the U.S. launched 21,000 artillery shells in the field in front of the Korean positions to thwart the NVA assault...more than 250 dead were left on the battlefield.

Dayan seemed to believe that American tactics were to just discover where the VC were at, and then blast them with mass firepower including the B-52's. Moshe went along with an air mobile U.S. battalion operation to land in the area where VC were reportedly at, and observed that one role of the combat patrols was to serve as 'bait' to draw enemy fire whereat the superior firepower could be directed. Dayan thought that U.S. policy was to use an incredible amount of firepower to demoralize the enemy and produce casualties, while simultaneously bombing the North. Instead of a real military tactic to win, the U.S. plan was to accomplish a psychological victory over the communist forces.

Mr. Dayan observed the action as a 'journalist’ and within a few months was again leader of the Israeli Defense portfolio in battle against the Egyptian led combined forces of Jordan, Syria, Iraq and Egypt.

Today American policy in Iraq has set its own course, yet fortunately kept out of the overwhelming numbers of troops approach to victory; Israel always had fewer numbers than the opposition forces yet did o.k. And to stop terrorist infiltrators the army often sent out ambushes in the nights to stop probably infiltration routes from being safe.

I would not be the first to say that Americans are spoiled, prosperous, vicious, corrupt and etc. pertaining to people they deem it useful to victimize, so their is no point in adding anything to that. Yet it isn't the American character as a prosperous lot living on social inheritance that leads the nation into paths pioneered by the decadent Roman Empire and even Republic in giving up right reasoning on foreign policy. The insularity from decency and intelligent though follows the spoiling with comfort of the people and without special effort to overcome the inertial sloth of prosperity and power decline and fall is a usual course for civilizations to take.

When one has a vast comfortable middle class willing to exploit illegal alien labor, convinced with all the power of prosperity and greed, lust for power and worldly advantage that they should all be ahead of everyone else, and have a class right to victimize whoever it's useful to victimize, a lot of daft college graduates and people with class sinecures and double family earner high incomes naturally tend to desire to extend their class power universally following a blind course of will.

The nation of course has an expensive volunteer Army, yet Americans are obviously reluctant to serve in during war while upper class interests bully them about to get transnational wealth while running up a federal budget deficit. At the core of the Iraq issue Americans would be serving a valid moral cause to secure the peace for Iraq, yet President Bush must instead appeal to a motive for war such as protecting America from terrorism that has a ring of bogusness to it, because Americans when cognizant of foreign affairs have the crude, blunt mass firepower approach to it, and if the ignorant foreigners don't like our glorious peace and democracy, uf da!

These are somewhat bad years in the United States, and if poor, one can't just 'love it or leave it', pursuing one's enlightened self-interest abroad isn't cheap for some Americans these days, and Americans aren't so welcome in many areas if they require work I think.

The administration has a blunt fossil fuel hammer the electorate approach assuring prosperity for the neo-corporatist oil crowd, and assuring an obsolescent infrastructure for the nation. Neither party would utilize rational alternative health care for the poor as I'd written about earlier, nor do they seek to fundamentally liberate the people from reliance on corporate fuels for transport either, when solar power, wind power, battery technology, power lines in roads and fuel cell technology could easily lead in the direction of home-produced power.

No it is no wonder that people tend to resist the beef-fed egoists that can develop in a nation as prosperous as the United States. It is amazing that it has a grace of Go d quality dumb luck in surviving so long in reasonably good shape, and then good women like Justice O’Connor retire, heavens!

American domestic and foreign policy is set by some rather aloof and comfortable people that generally have never experienced protracted adult poverty nor social adversity to an extent needed to create a desire for improving the national infrastructure nor social opportunities with a purpose. Americans may be somewhat like the Indians that were drowned out by foreign interests, in that exfiltrating jobs and ownership and infiltrating illegal aliens coupled with z.p.g. for the prosperous American 'ladies' has made the middle class a sort of irrelevant group desiring more and more goodies with a vengeance.

U.S. security has numerous structural holes in it, and will dynamically continue to do so long as the nation exists with detached from efficiency leadership hidden behind the smokescreen of transnational corporate power.

Ronald Reagan did say that the nation's best times were ahead; that may have been true yet the worst times are ahead also, as any nation should use rational economic and social policy to renovate perennially against decline and fall, or exfiltration of self-determination.

The nation may be in a long slow drain of exfiltration of jobs and leadership under the trans-national stars. One day it may awaken to find that it is no longer an independent or meaningfully identifiable nation at all. Various corporate boards, neo-corporatists political designers, international socialists and megalomaniacs may help the process.

One should not me that most Americans are really wicked, it is simply that the major broadcast powers, cinched media and corporate personnel, and corrupt government bureaucrats and leaders fed with all of the world's best prosperity materially yet with little training in moral philosophy, independent political reasoning and so forth occlude the well-fed masses that just want to be bigger and meaner than you. The ladies expect the guys to be stupid and 'hunks', and they will do the brainwork and liaison for a sojourn in serial monogamy for a while to raise a spoiled, tragically brainwashed kid force fed on rem-reasoning and Satanism raised by child-care centers until public schools and packed off to Harvard theoretically, with half qualified for psychological labels.

The ladies are in to many cases under qualified for certain positions yet neo-corporate forces employ them well to subvert national independence. Again I do not blame women seeking to escape drudgery jobs with dirty hands for non-labor, easy chair, high paying jobs with trans-national corporate and undemanding yet Satanically indoctrinated state governments, its just that the concatenated effect of so many 'flies happy in a pile of manure' has deleterious long-range effects on better environmental use, energy and current accounts phenomena, and even of national viability.

Some nations like Israel had highly motivated people that recognized the right of their fellow citizens to earn a living, and did not obstruct them to favor foreign interests, nor ply them with incessant derision and sabotage social opportunities as do some of the trans-national corporate world graduated from college as middle classers lusting for power. Other nations failed to have enough motivation, Toynbee noted that easy living Greek regions developed the least of the ancient city-state areas.

If the United States is in its first trimester, a poisoning abortion seems to be in progress that may take 50 years to fulfill, and I don't believe I'm writing with the feeling that an American Indian might have had when the Euros and Africans arrived to replace them. I believe that using history as an excuse for political indifference is perhaps a very weak choice. If the nation is worth saving it is worth having some good leadership with real ideas of value to reversing the trend of national dissolution and invigorating instead a feeling of shared national liberty, independence and prosperity valued in second or third place to higher values of environmentalism, relation to God and fellow citizens and so forth.

Instead of exploiting women, minorities and any other people that feel oppressed for ends that result in the decline of national independence, it would be less disingenuous for fair politicians to employ those citizens in fields that lead to a reversal of a decaying infrastructure and exfiltration of economic independence. A nation can participate in free trade agreements, yet it needn't be stupid and rely on technicalities with blind trust that it's also a comprehensive weltanschauung of inevitable benefits.

Post 2003 Iraq War/Post 1967 Six Day War Chaos Comparison

It might be good comment upon the Minnesota legislature's decision to shut down the government for the 4th of July holiday over negotiations with the government employee labor unions, yet that must wait...

For comparative background information on the Iraq post-war anomie one might draw upon the experience of Israel following the 1967 six-day war. In the three years leading to Black September 1970 Abu Amar and George Habash and other terrorists led a renewal of terrorism upon Israel from bases in Jordan. In that three year period, according to Mosher Dayan’s biography (from which much of this paradigm is drawn) there were more than 5000 terrorist incidents upon Israeli’s, and nearly 150 deaths and 800 casualties.

Large terrorist bases grew for Palestinians in Jordan that eventually challenged the Government of Jordan to rule. Previously a King Abdullah had been assassinated, and attempts were made on the life of his grandson King Hussein.

Eventually in 1970 Jordanians moved to close down the Palestinian terrorist campuses, Syrian threatened to intervene and sent tanks and other military personnel to assist the terrorists, and Jordan requested U.S. support in a possible war against Syria; the U.S. agreed and fully activated the 82nd airborne regiment, and gave a dire warning to the Syrian Government. In time the Jordanian military routed the terrorist strongholds until they were for the time deleted from that nation. Israel knew a time of comparative peace.

Yassir Arafat (Abu Amar) had been on the West Bank in 1967 trying to organize a Palestinian terrorist revolt, yet nothing came of it immediately so he left. Terrorists following up on the swift American military victory in Iraq are perhaps still continuing along Abu Amar’s path of an intafadah of terrorism from trans-border locales. It is quite possible that Syria is again playing a key role in supporting migratory international terrorists upon a neighbor nation, and with the election of a former captor of American hostages in Iran, another avenue of terrorist support seems to have been opened to provide aid and comfort to suicide bombers carrying out policy that is costly to America’s rather traditionally inept foreign policy goals and methods.

The President's Speech on Iraq Policy Tonight

The speech of President Bush tonight to the nation regarding Iraq policy may or may not be based upon a concern for creating a peaceful democracy or assuring oil supplies to friendly oil corporation contributors; yet assuredly the people of Iraq would be happier with a peaceful democratic form of government that the U.S.A. is ostensibly or coincidentally trying to support.

The timing of the address seems inappropriate and is simultaneous with the highest oil prices in decades and more contracts for VP Cheney’s former company Halliburton to build more trans-national facilities abroad.

The nation is going along, more or less, with the Iraqi policy already, and the speech may be a dramatic effort to bolster the President’s falling popularity polls as well as his conduct of the nation building effort.

An unheard of aspect of the hostile suicide detonations in Iraq was the criteria of exactly why the bombers are blasting themselves; what is the primary motive?

It was reported that Saddam Hussein had created a terrorist resistance cadre before the Gulf War of 2003 and those individuals could be fulfilling their training, and comprise a substantive element of the volunteer human-bombs. Another element could be the training advantages and opportunity to hit American targets in Iraq that is denied to terrorists seeking to cross the U.S. border through the gauntlet of bureaucratic policies implemented since September 2001. A third and unheard of element could be the mercenary aspect of human bombs blasting themselves for pay in Iraq. It may be that with the vast new oil wealth flooding the middle east and OPEC countries because of the G.W. Bush policy of wringing the most possible out of U.S. consumers for the benefit of oil company profits, and of making the nation dependent upon oil for automotive fuel to the maximum extent sand time possible, that terrorist coffers are being flooded with contributions to purchase disposable human bomb services at a good price. It may also be possible that Al Qa’eda hackers obtained those Master Card numbers from Arizona and 40 million account numbers to add more deficit spending (on someone else’s tab) to finance the terrorist war, ironically mirroring in reverse the Bush administration policy of deficit spending to finance the war effort and trans-national oil company profits.

The problem with President Bush’s policy regarding Iraq is that his lack of creative spark in moving toward a positive sum strategy with a halt to reliance on oil and fossil fuels supports a swamp of terrorist manipulation of America through projects abroad that are easy to finance and costly for the U.S.A. to defend against. The President picked an uncharismatic California intellect for Secretary of State who was promoted for fealty toward trans-national corporate goals, and is completely unknown for expressing intelligent opinions about politics. Sect. Rice is the consummate corporate yes-woman, and that doesn’t help nationalist trends much.

When Moshe Dyan was negotiating a peace settlement with King Abdul following the Israeli war for independence, he encountered an individual that could not except terms expressed by a woman, and had to fight just to say no to that. Because President Bush has confidence that the U.S. public can pay the bill for Iraq with deficit spending, and social security and other vestments can be trimmed to pay for it, and the nation’s infrastructure allowed to rot and become a pork barrel for sales from trans-national corporations, he doesn’t need to care if the Secretary of State is undiplomatic, and unlikely to get negotiated settlements with those ‘chauvinist’ middle-easterners…in fact he is more concerned about the pr value of Secretary Rice as a black female for domestic political consumption, and perhaps for relations with Africa.

95% of the societies on Earth in 1990 were not monogamous it is worth considering. When American politicians decide to change foreign nations to coincide with U.S. social structures, it’s useful to get a clue about secondary consequences of such changes, such as the destruction of extended families abroad. Many people can be hurt by mass social chaos, and in some instances constructive engagement can produce slower changes that provide liberty for people so far as is economically possible.

The mercenary incentives paid for with easy oil money by the trillions may afford to purchase a few human bombs for decades to come, and the main point of military-counter measures should be to cut off the revenue stream to terrorist organizations, get an abbey’s aide for the ecclesiastical policies that are utilized to induce the Presidential policy to be one of protracted low-scale war entangled with any sort of religiosity with a capability of rectifying the policy to democracy and pragmatism (as the Christian goal could be more pacific).

Bush admin, Fossil Fueled Deficits and the Wealthiest Class

"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." I Corinthians 1:18

I am not certain why the 'Talk of the Nation' has stagnated with the patriot act thread, perhaps to reflect the stagnation of the national infrastructure that relies on fossil fuels that won't begin to drop in price perhaps until the year before the next election at a miserly pace of five cents a week, yet I'll make a general comment about economy and environment in order to stir up the crude logic of homo loquax somewhat...

The recent spate of tax cuts and favored tax breaks for the oil companies perhaps comprises the core of the G.W. Bush administration's political philosophy of enriching the rich compassionately. It is written that in the United States something like 65% to 85% of the wealthiest two percent of American women have received their wealth from inheritance, and that 50% of American men are in the same status. The tax cuts for oil wealth and inheritance together provide a double whammy of stagnation and ossification of the national infrastructure and economic prospects. it should be recollected that the founders of the nation had little burden of inherited wealth, and needed to work and start up new industry and business with inventiveness and ingenuity instead of continuing along the inertia of the way things are as has President G.W. Bush.

The dangers to national security presented by the past it's time dependence on foreign oil for fuels, and to suggest that new nuclear plants could be a good way to provide more electricity for the people of the United States are exemplary planks of the bad old way of ossified and non-adaptive inherited wealth and power corrupting society to protect and enhance it's own position. Yet in this time in the world the dangers to environment and politics presented by neo-corporatism and anachronistic industrial technologies that defeat the planetary environmental health is striking.

When unimaginably wealthy class capital structures develop socially positive change and continuing social adaptability becomes difficult. The propaganda power of corrupt wealth is difficult for poor democrats to deal with, and then many American democrats suffer from the goatish bloat of petite prosperity too with a chocolate éclair and big screen TV lifestyle.

The propaganda machine of the very rich may paint reformers with false colors, and limit political theory to black and white dialectical conflict between capitalism and Marxism; that is they refuse to recognize that a democracy may have solid tax rates to prevent the useless accumulation of wealth and class inheritance in order to keep the body politic healthy and vigorously competitive with a stress on civil rights and equal opportunity. Some of the inheritors of wealth have contempt for civil rights and equal opportunity that then poor and middle classes may need for a fair opportunity to field their inventions and business theories to start new capital acquisition threads. Perhaps President Bush is a good example of inherited political wealth that he is presently trying to spend without success.

As a Christian I am aware that some broadcast commercial Christians naively support politically special cliques of extreme inherited wealth that utilize socially corrupting powers to increase their wealth...the ironic side is of course that the Bible predicts that Christians will be blamed for social ills in time, and of course the identification of broadcast commercial Christians with the political platforms of the extremely rich in the U.S.A. line up for such a potential interpretation.

In some ways big government as a cluster of union mobsters (hyperbole) supporting a ruling class of inherited wealth stuffing its own stockings with fossil fuel funds (worm-ridden energy bill) could describe Iran or the United States, as NPR reported about Iran. NPR doesn't much report usefully about the corruption of the rich ruling class in the U.S.A., or of the broadcast media of course...

The energy bill in Congress seemed a referendum on the complacent, corrupting, backward looking, carpet-bagging character of the congress that disregards environmental health, seeks to develop more nuclear plants so world biology can be destroyed completely when they all melt down if some sort of plague or disaster occurs that eliminates plant operators and replacements, subverts changes in national infrastructure to a rational basis of mpg vehicular fuel conservation standards, alternate electric vehicles, a vast imaginot line of anti-fossil fuel wind generators along the Rocky Mountain States, development of super conductors, fuel cells, batteries, power lines in California Highways (if you build it they will come) etc.

A large part of the profligate American expenses on defense are caused indirectly through the reliance on fossil fuels and leadership of the emerging world economies into reliance on the dirty and stupid yet inherited wealth supporting fossil fuel industry internationally. President Bush and Prince Faud have more in common that President Bush and Nancy Pelosi, to such an extent that the picture of President Bush walking hand in hand with any democratic leader in Congress seems absurd. The fossil fuel brotherhood is the ad hoc nation the President defends presently, while the U.S.A. rots essentially.

I must point out that the Democratic Party’s incessant attacks on the Iraq policy just make them seem wrong and dangerously so, and of course places them as simpleton chumps for any Republican running against them on that platform anon. Democrats instead should focus on alternative energy infrastructure and socio-economic planning that is loud, clear and intelligent. Military spending can be cut where it's useful to do so, but the Iraqi government should receive long term help where it needs it; American concerns may be located in Iraq for some time, even to start a good solar power capability when or if the Muslims auto-bombers run out of gas.***

From the Textbook on Neo-Corporatism

Textbook on Neocorporatism

Gary C Gibson - 10:34am Jun 27, 2005 EDT A favorite government media maxim; "The first law of every creature is that of self-preservation, of staying alive. you sow hemlock and expect to see ripening ears of grain!"~Machiavelli

My textbook on neo-corporatism made the point that indirect curtailing of opportunities to dissent is a usual pattern. Unless NPR Discussions or another federalized discussions board exists to permit criticism of daft federal policies and corrupt broadcast media practices that assault individual civil rights, it will be more difficult to make public observations about federal policy that is harmful to national interests.

Because federal policy is trending toward inimical policies that harm national interests, the decision to allow the Bush administration three more years without public, federal record of dissent being written here(NPR DISCUSSIONS) is reasonable.

In the first half of the year 2005 the United States as a nation experienced many foreign and domestic political challenges while the nation's political leadership seemed to be not up to the task. Heck, it just appointed some lawyer that represented a vast horde of corporate polluters and that had created superfund sites such as WWR Grace which poisoned the people of Libby Montana, to head the enforcement division of the EPA. Pollute, bank, deny pollution, cut, hacvk spend federal dollars in corporate directions generally...

The people of the nation cannot be freed from responsibility though; they did elect to second terms a couple of Presidents that were alright one-termers, and will probably be complacent ahead electing people that will exfiltrate American economic independence and infiltrate foreign and trans-national economic and political power.***Fossil fueled federal deficits; consider several aspects of the failure of the nation's leaders and people to recognize and react successfully to intermediate and long-term economic infrastructural decay that has become an infusion of virtual self-destruction spending it's present to afford coach potato somnabulent television watching and SUV driving.***My blog at http://www.lulu.com/garycgibson

and homepage at http://www.garycgibson.us

should have continuing blog posts for some time. Alternate forums are good at blogspot.com and the progressive http://www.Opednews.com also provides a venue for commenting on government corruption and policy mismanagement.

Socialists and neo-corporatists have surrendered the middle ground of liberalism, and forgotten what liberal political philosophy is; it is the faith of the founders in individual civil rights subject only unto the direct will of God.

With the demise of liberalism the excluded middle leaves the extremes of right and left each claiming aspects of liberal values like vultures dining on the corpse of the United States fighting over a juicy piece of intestine.

The Dollar Value and the EU 2004-2005

Individual genius is bought by transnationals, subverted by sinecured boards; from politics it withdraws as water 'neath oily hoards.

"The reasons that the USD is falling (high deficits + nope hope of change + relatively low interest rates) are still valid. The EURO is falling because of the problems with the constitution."

"Will the twin US deficits be solved quickly? "

To answer that last sentence...you must be joking. Bankers and some government authorities spend as much as they can of other people's money for profits through loan interest payments and kick-back corporatism; the ad hoc ruling class in the U.S.A. is self serving and both parties coopted, with the democratic one occassionally silly in it's politcal analysis.

http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/G5/current/

An 'ideal' or optimal currency valuation between various global economic regions may be useful insofar as it represents stability rather than stagnation, yet an equilibrium in monetary value tends to represent real goods, capital and cash reserves as well as future productivity expectations and thus the entire global economic status would be factors that would make the bilateral valuation of currency you suggested phenomenal instead of necessary.

The U.S.A. has several domestic problems, yet the solution politically for those can be found in local or national political determinism only insofar as trans-national neo-corporatists allow any local political determination to exist.

The federal government's comparison of the value of the dollar to various world currencies shows that it has risen against some, fallen against others in the last year. Perhaps the value of those yuan that aren't free floating affects other currencies such as that of Brazil...which compete in the same productivity export markets to some extent.

Europe's problems are more complex than that of failing to submit to a centralized, cold authority that would subvert local political sovereignty and render them ruled by aloof trans-national neo-corporatists seeking to line their pockets in a disposable world economy while the locals get slim pickings and political platitudes.

Multiverses and the Anthropic Principle

String theory, superstring theory and other quantum cosmology theories are all available for investigation and of interest to many. The elements of the anthropic principle naturally follow from a consideration of the nature of the cosmos and it's constants in light of super-string and M-Theory.

Discussing those ideas, and that of the multiverse theory can be done well by most interested readers, and should be done without polemics, and within and orderly and sensitive way.

The anthropic principle of course does occur in a universe suitable for life, yet it is a valid cosmophysical point that could be used to describe a specific set of parameters in any possible universe that would be able to support certain forms of life.

The anthropic principle in science, so far as I know, can be used to refer to that physical constant requisites paradigm, and might be used in a logic of necessity, or modal logic, to sort through either an infinite number of real or potential universes for those able to support life, or to classify those universes fit for the support of intelligent life.

The A.P. is thus somewhat less than intelligent design. The creation of universes fit for intelligent life, and the fact of their existence. If more than this one exists, or even if just this one universe exists, would confirm the anthropic principle de facto, yet not entail the necessity of intelligent design. Yet the existence of a Universe fit for life does entail the possibility that it was designed or that it was not.

With various cosmologists theorizing about the construction of Universe's as a natural outgrowth from theoretical cosmology, it is a simple transition into the awareness that beings of superior science could already have created universes fit for intelligent life, and to use Tegmark's premise, snowballed a plethora of universes into being that are fit for intelligent life thus creating a sort of natural selection of universes created by intelligent design. If that process did begin, and if the super-string parameters of multiple universes is valid with its finite set, universes created by intelligent design may come to predominate numerically over dumb universes.

http://www.spacedaily.com/news/cosmology-03x.html Greene does address the multiverse issue at some length in the 2004 book 'The Fabric of the Cosmos'. Most of his approach seems to be from super-string and M-Theory...
