U.S. Ambassador to Libya Killed By Mob- A Comment

The U.S. embassy in Cairo apologized 9-11 to the Moslem world in general for free speech apparently referring to You Tube videos and so forth. That apology was made before the Cairo mob and that in Benghazi attacked the U.S. embassies.

At the funeral and memorial service for the late Ambassador one hopes that an American instrument-the banjo-is played instead of the Unamerican, globalist bagpipes effecting such  alien noise.

The Moslem world sinks in a gravitational-like field toward Sharia and represses free speech somewhat inevitably and it's is unreasonable for the administration to expect that free speech would or should stop in western civilization so that no Moslem would look out their window and see Lady Godiva riding her trusty steed.

It is a paradox that the Harvard-Corporatist-Administration axis of hate speech ideology that represses particular language use and bans users from select web pages for using select non-partisan language takes the anti-free speech side when their own ox's are disrespected from their partisan point of view. It is difficult to rate the lack of foresight about leaving an ambassador so vulnerable to terrorism and killing when it is well known that Al Qa'eda and radical terrorists are swimming in that Libyan social ocean of revolutionary instability as well as in Cairo.

Probably the administration should have had better mid-east logic, policy and embassy security.

The restive Moslem world should not be given a message that free speech is anything less than necessary for democracy to exist. What would Jesus do as a question takes the reality out of context in the course of history. Eschatological issues and determinism are actual factors not subject to such criteria I think.

We would not expect that a new generation of neutron bombs for new Crusader series missiles would be a necessary response to intimidation of video bloggers of course. The point might be made though that toleration for terrorism from Moslem radicals upon Americans can have its limits though.

Terry Jones was not the producer of the video named 'The Innocence of Islam' that is alleged to be the motivator for the mob violence. Free speech especially about historical figures cannot reasonably be limited at all-that's how historical accuracy is developed and they way quality video production occurs.

In reading about the investigation leading to the arrest of KSM the Daniel Pearl video was mentioned. Its still on the Internet too-KSM cuts off his head and holds it up for the camera. The Democrat party seems to be unable to universally support free speech while condemning evil actions and explaining that difference to the Moslem world or developing tolerance for free expression in Molsem nations especially Pakistan.

Iraq Leadership Crisis-V.P. Sentenced to Death

Iraq's Vice President, a Sunni, was sentenced to death for allegedly supporting death hit squads in the nation. The Vice President has adamantly declared his innocence of the charges and is now in Turkey speaking out against the trumped up putch to purge Sunni participation in the government.

President Maliki, a Shi'a has now the prospect of developing a Shi'a government with declining formal Sunni participation and with terrorism increasing,  the prospects of renewed violence comprising sectarian civil strife. 

With a U.S. sanctions intafada directed against two other basic Shia or Alawi derivative nations of Iran and Syria the consolidation of Shia rule in Iraq before an inevitable Sunni takeover following a Sunni Muslim Brotherhood conquest of Syria seems a logical if not best direction for Shia partisans in the middle east. It is doubtful that the Obama administration or Secretary Clinton have a clear plan for bringing the situation in Syria or Iraq to a peaceful resolution.

The Al Qaeda resistance in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan with financial support from Saudi Sunni Salafi fundamentalist oil rich Sunnis seems to be increasing in the region. U.S. suspension of training of Afghan tribal policemen recently  because so many of them make suicide attacks on N.A.T.O. soldiers seems an indicator that the will to power of the Sunni-Taliban-Pakistan I.S.I. axis of insurgency makes the prospect that a diminished U.S. presence will bring an increase in Sunni attacks and purges on our original Shi'a allies in Afghanistan-the Northern Alliance.

The expensive and apparently unintelligent U.S. actions could stand substantial improvement and cost efficiency increase.

Obama to Lift Chicago School Teachers to Become Millionaires?

With the Chicago public school teachers on strike seeking to get a base pay of $91,000 a year President Obama's plan to redistribute middle class tax dollars to hire more school teachers seems to be gaining local traction. The teachers realized that they might also become millionaires before retirement if they could save about half of their salary if it approaches one hundred thou annually.

It is possible I suppose for a school teacher to live on canned beenie weenies and raman noodles with crackers and perhaps buy some kind of cheap van and live in that near a McDonalds for the toilet and save even more for a few years to walk away with enough to buy a condo in Santo Domingo and enjoy the beach. I should write something here about raman noodles.

I have made a discovery that could alter the fundamental way one looks at raman noodles of the common sort with a beef flavor packet. Just cook the noodles in plain water, throw out the water (or save it if in a desert in a used pop bottle) and then slowly add the flavor packet tossing the noodles to mix thoroughly. Its really much better than with the beef forming a kind of broth. It reminds me of chinese fired rice actually and one doesn't get the scoots if on that poor diet.

That reminds me of one other idea about this idea derived from experience buying oriental raman noodles where one throws out the water and adds three different flavor packets (and they are cheaper too); one could produce a pork fried rice flavor packet to add to boiled minute rice and have instant Chinese pork fried rice to which one might add a diced fried egg and sliced chives if really in the money.

Oh yes, the Chicago school teachers strike. The President may help the teachers realize their greatest aspirations of becoming millionaires. If teachers of 4th graders can't become millionaires what is the nation becoming- anti-intellectual?

It may be possible to use ground piping and insulation to lower the temperatures in badly designed school buildings instead of just adding expensive air-conditioning. I suppose they should contact Amory Lovins or someone like that for leads. The schools must have some plain cooling dirt someplace below the funkie structures.

In the meantime Chicago students might evolve a contest to invent the cheapest and most effective way to deliver Barnes and Noble nooks to students and independent study classes that could be done outside schools with perhaps in-class testing. Perhaps independent study class room nooks designed for quiet safe independent study could be designed without teachers present to better automate the student learning support agenda. One would think that with a 30% savings in cutting out superfluous and dubious extra Chicago school teachers and moving toward a better safer 50% mix of independent study through the student nook program the students might be better able to survive the uncertainties of wildcat union strikes demanding tens of thousands of dollars more now and then to appear.

President Clinton Sold Out the Middle Class & Poor- President Obama Follows

When President Clinton signed off on letting U.S. home mortgages be  traded and sold in tranched derivatives he sold out the middle class. Home mortgages and home investments were the fundamental economic security of the middle class and poor in the U.S.A. I suppose some of the wealthy of London were unhappy with having middle class nuggets they couldn't get their hands on so President Clinton willingly gave them what they wanted.

The poor and middle class before President Clinton and his advisers that served President Obama too were free to not invest in the stock market with all its flim flam in quantitative trading. They were free to have somewhat secure investment in their home without worrying about tranched derivatives undermining the housing market. Those days were gone with the Clinton administration though, and now the middle class and poor have no safe investment havens to keep their money in. Instead President Obama has forced them all to be part of an Obamacare corporate health insurance plan so the rich can pluck their pay in every way.

President Clinton also sent U.S. factories south to Mexico signing off on N.A.F.T.A. and because the Clinton-Obama Democrat party won't enforce zero tolerance for illegal immigration from Mexico policy they supported cheap Mexican labor moving north to take over the U.S. low-end labor market. That's a reason why the Mexican economy grows 4% a year and people are investing their with the Mexican economy reaching the top 20 in the world while the U.S. economy has 15% under and unemployed.

The Clinton-Obama team and their sychophants say they just need another four years to add a trillion dollars a year of debt to the people of the United States. Its another bad idea by bad political leaders, from a middle class and poor point of view.

M/V Susitna Up For Sale- A Steal at $80 million?

A county in Alaska (known here as a burrough) named the Mat-Su had a ferryboat built that is ice-breaking capable a little and a landing craft named the Susitna for 80 million dollars. It is likely that it's going to be for sale since the Mat-Su people haven't a way to use it to bring people to their side of Cook Inlet from Anchorage.

The boat cost 80 million dollars and was completed in 2010. The insurance on the baot cost something like 3/4 million annually, so the Wasilla Mat-Su people are planning to try to get rid of one of the 'ten most significant boats launched in 2010'. Maybe it could become a toy for the Coast Guard at Nome or be used to cross the Bering Strait seasonally.

This topic incidentally reminds me of the lack of ice breakers that the Coast Guard has-just one ancient and venerable ship. With declining sea ice maybe a new kind of ice breaking tool that could go in front of an ice capable ship to clear the way could be built-something like a barge with sonic, heat and vibrating technology that could be pushed by a tug/push boat or some more conventional vessel.

Instead of making a complete ship it might be cheaper to develop a heavy-ice breaking technology tool to lead the way for boat-perhaps remotely piloted by the following ship crew.

Economists & Government Looking Again at Thorium Power

With perennial U.S. energy consumption paradigm malfeasance its necessary to dump energy to compensate for its inefficient use. Americans use about a 100 times more energy per day than a second world citizen, and that' helpful when reliant upon machines for transportation, washing dishes and staying warm. Thorium power plants may be a way to solve the energy crisis without adding to global carbon emissions.

Thorium is less volatile than uranium and in a Molten Salt Reactor less dangerous evidently than the Chernyobyl land mines. There are no Thorium Nuclear Power Plants today and just one MSR plant has been constructed while the U.S. Government is slack on developing Thorium Power Research it seems.

Thorium has less potential for weapons development than uranium power as well as having less long term radiation storage problems, or so the story goes. It could just be more propriatary support that is half-baked of course, yet it is worth looking in to. When global warming gets really bad and the air conditioners never switch off in Toledo they may want a Tahorium Power PLant to cool things down.

Elements of the American Political Zeitgeist

I think that manufactured material wealth and totalized social competition brings a lethe effect rather than a mnemosyne to the social zeitgeist in environmental vulnerability-yet that's also an emergent consequence of a social rather than an individual economic environment.

To make governance more rational and fairness in competition better corporations need to be limited in size to 5000 employees and no individual should be able to invest in more than three. Too much networking and concentrated political power outside of  government otherwise.

I was reading about Constantinople circa 1200 recently and of the east and west Roman empires in the 4th century. The Emperors divided up East and West between two Emperors with a vice-Caesar apiece before Constantine. The division of political power and rule today with a global evil empire transcending the U.S. Government and economy locally has created and ungovernable monster from the point of view of national self-determinism that existed say, between 1920-39 and less so as recently as 1989.

Political conventions and treaties are as useful as they are in real effect, and certainly their is much unintentional disingenuity in international relations today with the broadcast media abetting an inertial, unfocused drift toward some millennial goal that G knows where it would 'evolve'.

I think that value-added products such as Thomas Edison made are great, and I like science yet the existential application of such technologies without general social competence on the vulnerability of the ecosphere to depletion if not eradication is extremely dangerous. A what me worry mentality pervades both major national parties these days.

Bottom Trawlers Trash Ocean Floor Habitat- Another One for the Ecosphere Clouseau File

An article in nature reported on research documenting adverse biosphere effects of ocean trawlers running roughshod on the seafloor. The trawling trashes whatever life habitats were sedentary and built up in support of life. Luckily at such depths the seahorse population isn't affected, although I believe they have achieved endangered species status on their own.

Other reports in the broadcast media mention that some of the biosphere population during this period of mass extinction might 'intersect' human life on Earth. Its good that those media minds are aware that their bodies might have a biological foundation too, so if there is a mass extinction going on and some malevolent force is causing it, maybe some clever scientists will discover the culprit one day, some day and legal authorities can arrest them.

Quantum Entanglement Tech Makes Another Leap for Information Exchange Distance Record

Scientists working together from a few nations entangled photons that exchanged information 89 miles between two of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic offshore from Spain. With a conventional communications link between two points one may also send quantum information of the quantum state of entangled photons faster-than-light through some sort of not in the grid space of conventional matter.

Because the quantum information of the state or spin characteristics of entangled photons-made up of quarks I think- travels through non-conventional means it allows information exchanges safe from hacking and surveillance-a useful tool for business,conspirators and governments yet not such an excellent scientific motivation.

The quantum state of a few particles-as many as 7 or 8 entangled particles might theoretically be scaled up to allow instant communication between Earth and Mars perhaps,  yet since human beings have a few more particles than that communicating the information of a particular human in order to send a copy instantly someplace else is a way out there-it would cut down on fuel costs of air travel though the individual remaining someplace while a double appears some place else wouldn't enjoy the vacation much.

Jobs Lost Far Exceed Jobs Created in August

The long-term trend of cancelling, outsourcing and downsizing the labor force continues in the U.S.A. through 2012. In the last week of of August there were 365,000 first time unemployment claims while no more  than 202,000 jobs were created in the private sector. That means that the 47 million Americans receiving food stamps will probably see their ranks swell.

The last week of August that had 365,000 jobs lost, the week before it was 374,000 and so on. More jobs being lost than created. Evidently fewer Americans are working presently than in January 2009.

The Obama administation's plan to add five trillion or more of public debt if re-elected would leave a 2016 Presidency with more than 21 trillion of public debt to begin with. The rancorous Democrat congressional unwillingness to raise taxes on the middle class and rich in December 2010 plus the Obama administration forcing through an multi-trillion dollar middle class health care bill during hard times for the poor adds to the budget top-heavy stiltification of the U.S. economy. Just one foreign war and stoppage of middle east oil production would send the entire economic house of cards into depression with possible collapse of the value of the dollar.

The 2007-2008 mortgage and banking crises were constructed during the Clinton years of financial deregulation with Al Qaeda also building up its attack potential during the Clinton decade era of failure to reconstruct and manage foreign intelligence gathering, yet the Obama construction of a new depression would exceed the capacity for domestic industry to dig itself out of that quagmire since so much American production was outsourced while the nation developed a financial related services and non-material production core that fails to deliver during low growth eras.

The black hole lurking out there for the labor force is the millions of illegal aliens that will surge anew into the U.S.A. to take jobs if the economy recovers even modestly thus softening the labor wage market further.

'Who Wrote the Bible' - A video in by 'The Naked Arcaeologist'

The video from the Biblical Archeology Review website presents a popular approach to archeological knowledge of the history of the Bible. Well worth one's time, the archeologist talks with experts in the field on site including viewing of the cave where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, the scrolls themselves in Jerusalem, and the oldest yet discovered fragments of Bible verse dating to the 6th century B.C.

There are several theories of how the Bible was written today. Here is what I think about it. Because Abraham was perhaps a literate Sumerian before going on his journey to the future land Israel it is probable that he either taught his family to intellectual heirs how to write in cuneiform or there was at least an oral tradition that continued through Jewish history unto the time of Moses.

Moses as the adopted son of Pharaoh would also have been literate - in hieroglyphics. The multi-language social circumstance of Moses may have stimulated his development of the alphabet (aleph beth)-the first symbolic representation of sounds instead of words simplifying his Egyptian language, the Jewish language and/or cuneiform indeterminacy of translation issues by making writing represent sounds instead of words meaningful in just one language. Writing sounds down one could write anything said in any language and reproduce the sound-word later.

At any rate, Moses and the exodus of the Jews from captivity in Egypt occurred sometime between 1500 and 1250 B.C. Obviously at a minimum strictly maintained oral history was perpetuated until the establishment of the Kingship of David around the year 1050. In David's or his son Rehoboam's court it is probable that the existing Biblical documents such as may have been written during the Abraham to David era-the first 1000 years of Jewish history, were compiled, organized and conserved as the first five books of the Bible- the Pentateuch.

One would think that the number of parchments, papyrus, scrolls, oral histories cuneiform writing etc recording the main line of Jewish tribal history may have exceed what actually ended up in the Pentateuch. That raises another interesting question; how did the compilers of the Old Testament prophets canonize the writings of the prophets, or determine what prophecy should be included in the Bible?

If one considers the life of a prophet within the culture of his day - a guy coming from a humble background letting the elites and the decadent know that God isn't pleased with them, one might be aware that many would disregard the prophet or write him off as a crank. There were after all many prophets in that time both inspired, semi-pro and professional seeking jobs with the government in as high a capacity as possible.

When and who determined that Jeremiah for instance, ought to be considered a true prophet, and who wrote or redacted his book? Jeremiah has a scribe named Baruch that writes down what he says, yet the book of Jeremiah itself was perhaps written by a 3rd person writing like an historian including the material as accurately as possible of what Jeremiah did and what Baruch wrote about and from Jeremiah.

To return to the topic. Not all of the Jews were taken into captivity by the Egyptians. It is not improbable that any written or oral histories given by Abraham regarding Sumerian flood stories and such continued to exist independently in the land of Canaan. If so, some of that material may been added to whatever was lost in Egypt and what was gained during the wandering in the desert of Moses and his tribe of Jews.

Moses probably was given Ten Commandments by God, and the book of Deuteronomy keeps a record of the origins of the strict Levitical tradition that undoubtedly began with Moses and his brother Aaron. Of course there does exist evidence that there were some similar laws in the region amidst other peoples, yet it is very difficult to trace those lines from a source. The Jews were ordered not to drink animal blood - obviously a good thing not to do if people are to develop a better cultural and agricultural technology and advance themselves as organisms.

The Bible may have been redacted or assembled from various existing books in the years after 1000 B.C. There is much scholarly inquiry on that topic. It is also possible that the first five books were just written by Moses and carried on to the court of David centuries later. It does seem however that at least some of the books of the Pentateuch are genuinely ancient and one day even earlier records mat be discovered going back as far as the court of David or Rehoboam-just four centuries before what has been found already.

California Democrat Compares Ryan To Goebels in Jejune Low Blow

Republicans have reasonable ground to compare Barrack Obama's history to that of other radicals viewing America as a neo-colonialist power. Some can find Marxist class theory and his blowing smoke up the a of the middle class to get votes while he plans to put the nation as deeply in debt as possible to advance the global communist position. Republicans mostly demurred on that outlandish claim though, while a Democrat politico from California made scurrilous remarks about Republican VP Candidate Ryan saying he is like Nazi propaganda minister Goebbels. That sort of jejune remark is uncalled for.

The public realizes the media and pundits are generally full of it, and that sophomoric political analysts draw on their bankrupt account of historical knowledge to make silly analogies. One could say that NPR is something of a gaggle of spoiled elitist fascist socialist  twits dooming the nation to a horrid future from some points of view, yet from others they are just state organs of control pulling the strings of their dupes and ask oneself if their is any imprecision in that? Paul Ryan is just a politician in the fray with low body fat trying to do the best he can for the high-calorie financial diet of a nation heading for fiscal disaster.

We hope the Democrats grow up a little and respect the real rights of all Americans.

Coach Obama Plans Punts & Final Score: National Debt 26 Trillion - Debt Reduction 0

NBC politics reports that many well known Democratic politicians will skip the Democrat Convention-especially those running in regions where Mr. Obama is unpopular (presumably in areas with high unemployment). The convention also clashes with opening night of the 2012-13 NFL season so many will be tuned out of the Democrat speakers and tuned in to the Manning v Romo aerial contest.

President Obama made an excellent football analogy today saying something about if Mitt Romney is the Republican coach that with his record someone should punt the football of votes. This incisive analysis highlights that the offense may not always be the defense, and that the offensive coach should punt the ball to the other team-to give it up if he has a bad record.

Some might dispute that. The Indianapolis Colts had a poor record last season, yet it probably wasn't the coach's fault so much as personnel circumstance. Oh well, the President can run on his own coaching record of 16 trillion of debt with the plan to 'punt' another 10 trillion of debt for a score of U.S. Debt 26 trillion, Debt Reduction 0.

Elizabeth Warren will be the DNC keynote speaker, and that is the first time someone with probably 1/100th percent probable genuine Amer-Indian ancestry will give the address-so millions may be tuned in for affirmative action. Maybe she should be swapped out for the President and run herself-she didn't raise up black unemployment to about 15% and recent college grad unemployment to more than 50%.

The unemployment rate for recent college graduates is on the way up to at about 20% presently, while the underemployment and unemployment rate for those under age 25 is more than 50%, so things are looking for better in some way if one has slick enough rhetoric.

The Obama campaign may bring some token unemployed and poor people to their middle class convention for the comfortable to sympathize with, we hope so. The middle class are the basic beneficiaries of America's infrastructure and of federal spending, it is useful for them to have a better idea of those that are left out while they are struggling to avoid paying taxes and to become millionaires and billionaires.

A true Democrat Convention would feature the U.S. citizen class rather than a middle class expanding the belt-line outward from bureaucracy and corporate sinecure cynched so long as they are alegiant to evil.

Obama Administration Fails to Wrap Up KSM Saga

President Obama failed to bring Khalid Shaikh Muhammad to trial. Tim McVeigh experienced reasonably swift justice yet the mastermind of the 9-11 massacre and author of confusion for economics  circa 2001 generally has enjoyed better than 8 years at various U.S. interrogation and detention centers worldwide with more than 6 years of residence at the Guantanamo Bay detention center.

I suppose it is a sticky wicket for the Obama administration- they sought to give KMH a televised platform in New York City for a civil trial where he might have made many speeches representing himself as his own lawyer. No wonder the seals shot Oz bin Laden as he stuck his head out the hall to see what's up instead of taking him into custody for decades of confinement.

Recently I read a book titled 'The Hunt for KSM'. It's a good informative read providing a good history of the engineer who designed so many terrorist ops worldwide including 9-11. He was arrested in Karachi Pakistan in 2003 and yet even today it is believed that some of his operatives remain as 'sleepers' in the U.S.A. and elsewhere.

Apparently the F.B.I. was kicked out of interrogating KSM and getting legally useful evidence for trial and instead KSM was given over to private contractors hired by the C.I.A. to waterboard and otherwise torture the perp in locales abroad and little of that evidence is useful for trial. Football Helmet Upgrades, Rule Changes for NFL Wonted?

With a surfeit of electronic technology available one would think high-tech research devices should be placed on NFL helmets to document concussive head impacts better. The U.S. Army might adopt some of the research to use to help prevent concussions for its soldiers banging their heads around from I.E.D.s.

What about placing some soft shock absorber on the outside as well as the inside of the helmet-maybe an inch of foam? Perhaps the entire football concept could be reconsidered in order to defend against egregious brain injuries and thus to conform better to the general purpose of a civilization of making life better for humanity.

Football doesn't require that interior linemen butt their skulls innumerable times a game. The linemen starting two yards apart would have little reason to lead with their skulls-they might start standing up actually. Then however the field would probably be too small and it would need to be extended to 200 yards in size and five more in width. A more athletic contest of running and pass catching would follow with better heart conditioning and more mobile and durable linemen. As it is, bulk size is featured and those 300 lb vs 350 lb collisions repeatedly from point blank range tend to minimize the neurological health of the winners and losers alike.

Obviously it would be absurd to make a kind of shock absorber between the inner and outer layers of a helmet or to install a noise making device that goes off with a head impact-yet it mike make an interesting concert if varied according to strength of impact.

Plainly there should be no water obstacles on a revised NFL field because of the drowning danger, yet the helmet at least can be upgraded to better document and reduce head injuries I would think
