Middle Class & Rich Inalienable Right for Cheap Immigrant Labor

The Schumer-Graham bill to provide cheap labor for the middle class and rich classified 'immigration reform' as started again. While there are tens of millions of unemployed American citizens the first thing on the Senate agenda is an effort to foist tens of millions of cheap foreign workers into the U.S. labor market. In a way, the corruption of Washington D.C. never changes.

The middle class and rich seem to believe these days that every American has an inalienable right for cheap domestic labor. On the contrary, every citizen has only the right to do his own work and should exploit the work of other citizens only where it is clearly in the mutual interest of the employer and the hired.
There is no moral or environmental argument for any foreign immigration at all these days. The United States probably was at the right population level at 200 million souls and having surpassed 300 million the agitation for more is simply the inertia of the corrupt. While a single American is unemployed not one foreign worker should cross the border.
America is not a nation of immigrants as the drunks might have it. The foreign born population is about 40 million. In the past immigration with an unpopulated frontier was rational-today with global demographics it is stupid and reckless. Some would argue that unlike a lifeboat that best seats a limited number the population of the United States is of no concern and an unlimited number can be input without destroying the national ecosystem or subverting the wage negotiations of poor and unemployed Americans and that is simply wrong.
Like a lifeboat that has hundreds and hundreds piling in way beyond carrying capacity the United States in its short sighted opportunistic policies on immigration and fossil fuel use is heading for disaster and leading the world down the village idiot's path. It may take a village idiot to be President of the United States since Ronald Reagan to show no concern about the unemployed or atmospheric and biospheric decline, yet that doesn't make it desirable to elect one.
The boasting of America returning to world leader in oil production is not a good sign. Filling out the rest of the decade with ecospherically decadent technology, pimping the poor and unemployed and importing foreign displacement workers, selling out the nation's independence with trainloads loads of foreign entanglements and taking a godless course towards national perversity with large government and corporations competing for totalized organizational controls effectuating a de facto empirical economic totalitarianism of by and for the communes is a recent trend. One hopes that it changes.

One can increase jobs with immigrants and by-pass the U.S. unemployed and also keep wage demands down that would rise with a tighter labor market. Cheap immigrant labor is one of the the best way to subvert wages that exists.

The Obama administration's first term hardly reduced the unemployment rate and it is a real insult to the unemployed to put the cheap foreign migrant worker program on the agenda. Yet the advantaged are really cold-blooded and ignorant on the concept of long-term unemployment and poverty in the United States. They really haven't the motivation to make things work or let free enterprise survive the transition to corporatism, globalism and class-based communism.

The pyramid scheme of expanding Wal-Marts and increased consumption always leaves lots of unemployed and ghettos when the next new thing hits the economy. The desire for increased material wealth that is well-sated at a certain level of millions then desires increased and concentrated power. The rather environmentally stupid pursuit of unnecessary amounts of material wealth simply destroys the ecosphereic viability of the world. Its very very stupid.

Even in the best of times the national unemployment rate seldom drops below 4%. The wages then at that low level may increase a little bit before those used to cheap servants demand more cheap labor. The powerful and spoilt don't want to be closer peers with the poor or self-employed. Instead they need a never ending supply of servants.

The mass society and contemporary economics have a theoretical minimal unemployment level (named NAIRU) that is believed natural and irreducible. That idea is pure bunk.
