Russian and Iranian fields also may be fracked-up perpetuating the axis of fossil fuel military-political power. It becomes even more important to the Sunni powers that terrorism continue in order that Iraq’s oil field may in some way be wrested away from the Shia of Iraq led by the undiplomatic Premier Maliki who should perhaps take an early retirement and buy a villa in the south of France for the good of his country.
Israel is blessed to have no oil reserves.
