August 6 100th Anniversary of War of the West on Russia

August 6, 1914 marks the 100th anniversary of the war of the west upon Russia. On that date Austria-Hungary declared war on Russia and a day later Germany invaded. It is notable that a century after the war of the west that took the Ukraine from Russia for a time and that put Lenin and the Bolsheviks into power with the help of the Kaiser, history in some ways is repeating itself.

One wonders if the President's Benghazi news team will report events in the Eastern Ukraine with the same candor?
