The Physicist of All Seasons (a poem)


Like a snow globe
a quartz stone refracting light
held in a hand
brings colors to sight
like a world well planned

Drawing the faithful to God
reminders across the sky
rainbows for reasons
answer questions of construction why
the Physicist of seasons
refracts tensor wavelengths of pi

Slowing light waves through mediums showing
light over horizons glowing
under storm clouds parting before night
show seven colors of heavenly sight.
