Christianity in the United States as well of course as the rest of the world has many challenges today. The eschatology or study of end times views held by most is generally incorrect. The beginning times or creation theories of the Universe are also largely inaccurate-not scripturally speaking-the Bible is infallible, but in the interpretation of scripture and especially the book of Genesis. And the middle times or church structure is also largely incorrect for this era. Martin Luther's priesthood of believers paradigm is best. Because the feudal style separate class of priests or ministers addressing a passive laity is prevalent and out of phase with democracy and scripture for various reasons, and because the beginning and end times theories are lacking accuracy-especially harmful in the post-Darwinist age of scientific atheism, Christianity in the U.S.A. is in marked decline.
