Britain Like Scotland Probably Will Vote for Dependence

British voters have a referendum on remaining in or withdrawing from the European Union the 23rd of June. Though polls indicate voters are leaning towards recovering their independence, recent history indicates that the insider establishment powers will twist arms and monkey with things behind the scenes sufficiently that the result will be failure of the referendum and continued British dependence on a super-committee for leadership.

Scottish voters were in a similar position 18 September 2014 and voted to remain dependent. Independence minded Scots won a third term as a majority in the Scottish government and talk is rife about another independence vote if the Brexit referendum is approved by the Brits and they say uff da to the European commune.

That prospect of losing Scotland may be enough to make British voters think again about mooning the European commune with their vote to try independence. Scottish independence leaders seem about as coordinated as Republicans looking for a third party candidate in getting things done. Nothing like biting off the nose to spite the face.

A Japanese chess players texted 'Go Trump' in a game I played yesterday apparently as a feeling about the recent Obama visit to Japan. I had nothing to write in return. I focused on the game and barely won. Maybe the best evolution for Britain would be to unite with Germany and France in making a new nation and letting the northern tier, southern tier and coastal Euro states think about forming their own respective nations. The United States of Europe-the E.U. is kind of an anachronistic idea judging from the times. It is not good to have one corrupt central government force its will upon everyone. Neither is it good to be fractured into a thousand tiny pieces incapable of coordination on policy of mutual interest.
