The 16th century theologian Thomas Watson understood the world well. In that contentious era of English history regicides and religious purges affected even his own status as a pastor. It is notable that human sin and the corruption of high offices have not really changed much-it's unjust that the organizational methods have been changed to exploit the innocent.

Hillary Clinton's hidden email accounts are the antinomy of open meetings and of public government for the people. It is the dark pool approach to government equivalent to those hidden speed-of-light Wall Street percentage shell games. It may have been in the Bradley Manning-Edward Snowden era yet is that an excuse for hiding government work deeply offline where it could be subcontracted to anyone willing to pay for the privilege?

What man that writes a history would black his own face, by recording those things of himself that might stain his reputation? David relates his own adultery and bloodshed, which stands as a blot in his escutcheon to succeeding ages. Peter relates his own pusillanimity in denying Christ.

The observation of Watson is quite true. Christian Apostles explained backstage rather than front stage behavior to the public. Over the course of history that tends to be not so, and is something that people tend to pick on still. One has a Jimmy Swaggart seeming as a chastising figure for sinful moral behavior in a corrupt society who then was revealed to have been visiting a prostitute in New Orleans. Christian pastors hiding immoral behavior that are enfiladed are trophies for the lost legions of Satan in the mass media era. How much disrespect have the Catholic Church's pedophile priests brought upon religion in America and Europe. Those sorts of leveraging monsters exist of course in all fields of social endeavor with hierarchical authority.. Bill Clinton as President had a student intern to fill his days yet the left apologized for that and Sweden awarded a Blobel a Nobel Prize that year. Sinful Christians in the ministry though are like embezzling accountants and notably reprehensible. That is another reason why a priesthood of believers is a better format, where the corrupt just don't have that higher position of power to lever or exploit the lesser-and the corrupt will migrate into positions of power naturally putting on the vestments of authority yet allegiant to personal egoism.

That it was illegal or against State Department policy and a good example of how the corrupt keep their conspiracies and collusions, connivances and intrigues secret from the world so far as possible will be explained away until it seems like a public service to the mindless followers of public radio. Ms. Clinton may not have hidden a smoking gun-Vince Foster diary-until maturation date, yet she could have been working instructions from President Amadhdinijab or organizing a second Bolshevik evolution for all the people of the U.S.A. know. Did she act with select world leaders to implement an abominable new world order of homo marriage and wars across North Africa and Ukraine? Perhaps not rising to The Secret History (of Procopius) nevertheless in Hillary the public should not trust and that is the way it is-confirming Watson's remarks. Where can one find an honest politician that is competent in ecospheric economics and security while not allegiant to a devil?

As the spirits are conveyed through the arteries of the body, so divine comforts are conveyed through the promises of the Word.”

Private E-Mail to Replace Government Accounts in Government ala' Hillary at State?

One must wonder in light of the revelation that Hillary Clinton while Secretary of State had a private email account to conduct state department business at home why people bother politicians about such things at all? Do the people or the media expect politicians to talk with their Swiss bankers about secret accounts or deposit verification, or talk with foreign suppliers or sex partners on the public dime?

Imagine if Bill Clinton while President had needed to have the public looking into his private communications with swank affairs or secret deals to do what Al Gore called 'making sausage' or if Dick Chaney had to find some way without secret communications to arrange no-bid contracts to Halliburton and other suppliers.

 Hillary Clinton does not of course supports Kant's Categorical Imperative for moral law-where everything that one advocates for a law should work for everyone categorically on a universal level. The reason for the dissent is that while it may be valuable for a particular to break the law, if the law were broken universally it would be no law. Politicians often think of themselves as exceptions to the rule of law-even while they are law enforcement officials-its just the nature of the animal.

Iditarod Should Evolve to Low Carbon Emissions Test Track

This year the Iditarod Dog-Sled Race Started 300 Miles north in Fairbanks because of the lack of snow. Global warming in Alaska has hit early. James Lovelock predicted everyone will need to move up north within 200 years as the south becomes desertified and only 200 million people will survive. While that may stimulate conversions to Christianity it is still reasonable to try to use the Iditarod dog race as a field test track for adapting low carbon emissions technology from the elimination of campfires to space-blanket coats for the dogs.

God loved Jacob and hated Ishmael. Jews got Jesus and Arabs got Mohammed. Calvinistic believe that got pre-determined who would be saved through the grace of God and who would be lost fighting in the desert for wrong causes. It is right to follow when the Spirit calls the elect to give up the ways of the dead and to receive new life in Christ.

Human and animal biological health doesn't actually need machines for crutches though they may have built in pogo-sticks. Though technology is a fine thing it is yet desirable to eliminate high northern latitude carbon emissions as soon as possible and the old ways of just adding greenhouse gases to the atmosphere as if Thor and the Valhalla gang really liked a warmer temperature.

The ability to adapt to political and environmental challenges intelligently is supposed to be an advantage. Just continuing to burn fossil fuels and campfires around a track isn't really adaptive enough to brighten the prospects for human survival on Earth.

On Spirit and Evolution Theory

Watson's collected sermons in 'Body of Divinity' comprise a catechism in the faith in order that Christians 'may be well-grounded in the faith'. The work is edifying obviously and beautifully written-a permanent edition to one's library that may be read and reread over the years.

Consider that while Thomas Aquinas was a scholastic theologian with a neo-Aristotelian method 'proving' points about God with logic, Thomas Watson was a scriptural theologian using inferences and inductions from scripture to inform readers (or originally listeners to his sermons) of the attributes and purposes of God. I suppose one might find a history of theologians or an encyclopedia of theologians to learn just where Watson's method of theology fits into the history of theology, yet I would guess that the early reformers broke some ground in the development of theological method.

Aquinas' scholastic approach in comparison to Watson's scriptural approach seems somewhat wide of the mark of relevance to Christians, though of course Aquinas was a brilliant theologian who wrote centuries earlier and contributed to the development of methods of using logic in application to theoretical and actual reality. His inductive and inductive reasoning deliberations that consider God phenomenally still serve as a model for consideration of design characteristics to investigate abstract topics.

Recently I encountered a philosophical and cosmological world view of Brian Josephson- the eponymous inventor of the Josephson effect and Josephson junctions (for quantum tunneling)- a Nobel laureate, that resembles G.W.F. Hegel's idea about God realizing himself in history (described in The Phenomenology of Mind). The idea transcends the boundaries of naive evolution vs. creationism quite a bit. Josephson believes that quantum mechanics can evolve its own complexity inclusive of mind, yet his theory stipulates an initial observer starting the development or evolution of a system of evolving quanta that becomes sentient biologically. I want to expand the parameters of the Josephson theoria to extrapolate and explain theological implications.

The physics and what is known of biological systems of aggregating change and in creasing complexity and complex structures appear to support Josephson's thesis that is comparable to a neo-Hegelian evolution of spirit realizing itself in history. Josephson's theory obviates the need for the extra dimensions of M and String theories. In those theories there is a vast number(10 to the 500^th power?) of ways of putting dimensions together to form a Universe such as this and hence equally as many mathematical forms to describe it. Finding the right formula and dimensional model to account for the nature of this Universe would be rather challenging. Instead of a virtually infinite number of dimensions that with randomness or perhaps logical permutation experiment (an anthropomorphism) with the generation of a Universe capable of supporting life-an approach often used by atheists to negate the anthropic principle/Goldilocks 'just rightness' physical constants of this Universe such that it supports life, and observer initiates or primes the initial quanta to be and become.

Such an observer could be hypothesized to have evolved for-himself in some way before the Universe existed, although Christians stipulate that God existed from eternity rather than having a beginning. One might consider that the 'ancient of days' did not simply evolve mind as the first created Person and become God to all subsequent Universes. In a way that is incomprehendsible to the human mind, God always was. God was and is prior to the existence of the first virtual particle, erg of energy or dimension of possible space-time. In any event once God was, and as God was, with omniscience and omnipotence all potential creations, Universes and evolutions were with God and for-God. Wheeler's ideas about retro-causality would not substantially alter the relationship of God to His being except that it might illustrate an eternal loop of God bootstrapping His existence. I do not prefer that approach. Causal explanations for the being of eternal God just don't seem right.

At any rate though, since God existed He would be able to jump-start any number of possible Universes though they could be designed to evolve like a growing, branching tree. Because God is a sentient mind who may evolve sentient minds in contingent Universes it is likely that as an omniscient mind he foreknows all contingent minds that exist or would exist in any possible Universe. God's being transcends and encompasses all temporal space-time and contingent sentient beings within a given universe.

Though this is a scholastic sort of theological speculation rather than scriptural it is useful to show that evolution theory is not incompatible with God creating the Universe, with physical determinism nor with God continuing a sustaining role knowing the content of all sentient thought within a physically evolving Universe. Josephson's theoria has I think primarily a steady state Universe criterion and that steady state Universe and its quantum material are field phenomena that are entangled in a field and that field in an unknowable order (of God I would think). Being certain of the actual physical composition of a meta-field containing the Higg's field and all of the steady-state material in it inclusive of black holes and space-time is unrealistic for some time I would think. One can however be certain of Jesus Christ .

Subsistence fishing should have 25% of the possible catch of all fish and sports fishing 25%. No more than 50% of the fish in the sea should go to concentrated power and wealth commercial fishing interests. Even though subsistence and commercial fishing may allow greater escapement of fish to spawn and rebuild the population since they are not trying to scrape the bottom of the barrel for the benefit of the rich; that is subsistence and sports-fishermen may be content with getting what they need and let natural abundance continue, the commercial fishing fleet are another sort of egoist dollar sign led horde lusting after the last morsel of fish in the sea for-themselves.

If commercial fishermen are restricted to 50% of the harvest the extra escapement should increase the total of fish overall paradoxically increasing the number of fish that even the commercial fishermen catch. If the take allotment of commercial fishermen were reduced more the increase of harvest should be even greater. That is a supply-side fishinomics policy beyond the simplistic 'kill the fish eating ducks' way of hogging the catch as far as possible.

In Alaska- a state with fewer than a million people and a high average income, about 10 billion is spent each year on health care. With a state government revenue deficit of 3 billion dollars because of the drop in oil price per barrel Obamacare costs and the insurance mandate are creating problems. Like many middle class Americans that want a federal health cost subsidy greater than the cost of food stamps annually by several hundred percent Alaskans will seek to pass on the cost for health care to the Federal dent account so far as possible. Very high quality health care is very expensive. Much of the health care that the poor, homeless and prisoners require is not. It would have been easy to expand the national V.A. hospital system to network with homeless clinics and the poor people’s clinics to provide services to the poor without involving the middle class at all and thus negate Obama-Nixon care.

It should also be possible to create a national clinic franchise co-op that provides a limited range of medical services to members that pay an annual membership fee with zero deductible. Private franchise treatment centers would provide the most common medical services required to members, and instead of buying normal medical service or skipping it altogether because of irregular or inadequate employment youth and the middle class would have a reasonably secure alternative to too expensive insurance. Youth should not be required to pay for Obamacare through buying insurance they don’t need to subsidize the middle class...even if those would be illegal alien youth made residents that could be taxed with Obamacare payments to corporate insurers.

President Obama innovated direct tax payments by citizens to private corporations with Obamacare yet did not fix the basic health cost issue; the increase in medical technology requires a physical rather than a bureaucratic remedy. A nation of paper pushers or keyboard data entryists tends to find paper or shuffling abstract dollar solutions instead of physical solutions to political challenges. If Nigers and Nigerians are morphological lexemes for black and blacks equiv to blanc and blancians for White and Whitians.  Pre-tribs with the expectation of doom politically and environmentally doen't work for a better society enough. Jesus was successful at establishing the kingdom of God within his generation however. A Personal Library Recommendation- 'Body of Divinity'

Thomas Watson's 'Divinity' is a beautiful text for systematic theology. I think Watson's method does more and less than conform to; "Systematic theology focuses on a particular doctrine and demonstrates it from the text". Watson's expository writing uses copious Biblical citations, yet it isn't to propound a particular doctrine. Instead his purpose is simply to illuminate the gospel and the meaning of scripture Old and New Testaments. One could write a paper on Watson's Systematic Theology, yet it is a systematic theology a posteriori rather than by design or intention. I don't think that Watson intended too much to write a systematic theology at all. The hundreds of sermons on the Bible and what can be known/inferred of God just compiled as a sum-over-history of the main points of what may be an implicit theology of the Bible...if Theologian A writes his best theological abstract of the Bible, and theologian B and C...Z write their's, isn't there still an inherent Biblical theology that can be found and that all of the theologians are trying to encapsulate? Perhaps that would be comparable to dozens of dialects and accents of one language.

Watson's book was written about 400 years ago. It has a few physics concepts that are obsolete, yet that will happen to most of the physics ideas held now eventually. The word of God remains the same however.

Alaska Legislature Flares Gas Again

How many decades has the legislature flared gas on building a gas pipeline in order to channel pork to consultant friends or get kickbacks from the oiled? This most recent flare up appears more of the same. The difference is that with gas prices dropping due to fracking and plentiful national supply the credibility of building a pipeline through Canada is non-existent. The best policy would be for the state to withdraw from the Alaska-Exxon LNG Canadian Jobs Bill directly.

Careful analysis of a chess game situation indicates the correct way to respond to a challenge from the opponent. Building a gas pipeline with state of Alaska economic leadership requires careful economic analysis. Building a pipeline in Alaska is requisite for any state participation for a number of strong reasons. For one any pipeline in Canada places the Alaska product at the mercy of the Queen's minions-are Alaskan politicians so tame as to want to be subjects to a foreign power and pay for it themselves?

For state politicians to let Exxon and big oil make them a cat's paw with promises so far that the state provides subsidies is awesomely stupid. Consider empirical economic facts concerning Alaska and China as the probable long-term export market with its world-leading contribution to global warming from greenhouse gases-mainly coal fired power plants that may be replaced quicker with natural gas plants until hydrogen fuel cells, solar, wind and fusion power sources arrive along with superconductors and additional new technology. The state legislature should just focus on getting an in-state pipeline from the slope to Cook Inlet built within three years.

Though the state cannot get anything done in three years-its a nice political dream.  

Republicans vs the Underverse Again in 2016

Since Ronald Reagan the United States has had three consecutive Presidents (not counting the transitional 41) representing development of an Underverse Party. The Underverse has few moral reservations beyond personal or class egoism. International political or economic competence aren't required for the job. Nephews, brothers, spouses and sons of are favored Presidential nominees. The poor may always be trimmed to bring the federal budget into balance, while contracts and weapons to kill foreigners can enhance the corporate and government class portfolio. Cheap illegal labor can be imported...etc.

It is remarkable how few politicians seem to have any sense of how to work for the general good of society rather than simply narrow partisan if not special interests. Working against party enemies seems the purpose of modern political activity. The concept of objective and independent reasoning about what is required to make the nation and population flourish within a health and security ecosphere is nearly non-existent.

Youth and the intellectually challenged may work for the pecuniary remunerative enhancement of social credit accounts of course. political leaderships should have some sort of larger vision though about matters such as value theory, the place of the environment in the world and enough political philosophy to get beyond cold war era theory.

Achieving the election of a race, gender or perversion preferred candidate is no substitute for political competence. While party interests may rise the ship of state may subside. The danger is that with the rise of an Underverse platform it may be exported and forced on other nations. The international relations incompetence of U.S. administrations of since the 20th century turned should never be misunderestimated.

Before the Spanish American war swelled Presidents and Congress the U.S.A. never had been in a foreign war of significance (not counting the counter-Mexican invasion). After that the clever British induced America to get involved in a continental European war twice and a cold war ensued. During the Bolshevik revolution the U.S.A. even sent 2000 soldiers to Russia to support the white army at war against the red army. U.S. Presidents are fundamentally idiots looking out more for British rather than national interests disregarded George Washington's farewell address comments entirely.

Consider U.S. history with Iran and Iraq. Iranian history is one with three or four parts of society holding power one at a time. The least powerful element was that of ordinary people. Military supporting royals or theocrats could rule yet the ordinary people aspired for democracy. When they finally achieved that in 1953 the U.S. led coup to get rid of the Prime Minister and restore a monarch gutted democratic aspiration. Then after decades of repressive aristocratic rule supported by the U.S. Government the left supported Khomeini to get rid of the monarch and SAVAK-the secret police. So once again the United States was involved on both sides of anti-democratic power struggle in Iran-is it any wonder that many  Iranians regard the U.S.A. as the great Satan-especially the Underverse party with homosexual marriage and abortion?

The British had invested in exploiting Iranian resources for quite a while and were peeved when the Iranians expropriated 'their' oil fields. Since then the United States has again been involved in a fairly unreasoned effort to follow up on a neo-colonial state's relationships that went bad. That occurred in Vietnam too with the French being that former colonial power.

With Iraq formerly being under British rule after the first world war it was inevitable I suppose that after the cold war ended Iran and Iraq would be incited to have a bloody war. Eventually of course the United States got involve and spent trillions of dollars rebuilding Iraq rather stupidly-it was supposed t cost just 50 billion dollars. Iraq was not a Germany or japan willing to join the western fold after defeat. Instead the principal of Islam asserted itself and a decade of civil conflict in Iraq enhanced by the Obama administration stimulating Arab Spring conflicts leading to attack upon the Syrian and Libyan governments has brought protracted conflict and the proliferation of Middle East sourced terrorism.

The Middle East seems to be a dog fighting political ecosystem that in the absence of the big dog of direct American power fights against its own for scraps of power and privilege. One must be somewhat naive to think that Iraqis will soon well govern themselves civilly with democracy and that it won't require the big dog to kick any challengers.

Thus one could even wonder if the efficient policy might not be to let all the conflicting parties kill one another without material support from the U.S.A. and then napalm the winners. Christians can't follow such policies of course, yet such circumstances might never occur if American Presidents were good leaders environmentally, politically and comprehended modern things such as full employment, secure borders, career employment security and space colonization in a green way.

Plainly a moral restoration needs to occur in the U.S.A. However with the wedding of Republican corporatists to the Underverse possibly ahead if Justices Cagney, Ginsberg et al vote for homo marriage, it would be challenging to bring that about.

Replacing Barbaric Abortion With Fetal Exfiltration (a theoretical paradigm)
