Genesis of Dispensational Theology (video)

Dispensationalism is one of the more recent Christian theological ways of viewing the meaning of scripture. It seems to have been added to the theological library by a Jesuit named Lacunza. The motive for the new way of looking at things may have been stimulated by the counter-reformation Council of Trent.

Dispensationalism is relevant today because it is another of the wrong directions that pre-tribulationist evangelical take in forming a worldview with the likelihood of near-term conclusive apocalyptic, eschatological doom soon ahead. That wrong interpretation of scripture affects U.S. politics significantly in environmental and ecological economic policy biased toward non-sustainability.
