Jesus brought the new covenant and the Mosaic Law was fulfilled and surpassed, yet the Jews are more than just the lost world, Jesus writing the laws of God on the hearts and minds allowed Israel to move beyond the boundaries of national Israel and the Mosaic law paradigm when it was ripe historically. 

It is probably not a good idea for Christians to overly evaluate the Jews as no more the chosen people and claim that we Christians will sit on the right hand of the Lord. We are saved by the grace of the Lord yet the Jews have their own worldly destiny that they can't seem circumstantially to avoid-being in the center of things at the crossroads of the world and drawing the wrath of the forces loyal to a false prophet from Mecca too influenced by Essene determinism I think. Jews are only 13 million or so on Earth and if they have an attitude it is because they need it for self-defense. Americans have a large, powerful military and the Christian community benefited from being far away from Barbary pirates, Muslim fanatics and kow-towers to emperors for a long time. 

We can't expect Israels to be sweet, gentle and exterminated by head choppers right away. One must ask if Christians would be happier living in Israel or the Caliphate, and be aware that there are many kinds of persecution both religious and non-religious, and that Americans are said not to have a theology of suffering living in a dream as it were. I hope that continues-yet with decadence it tends to be lost.

Limbaugh's Radical Subjectivism Split the Republican Parrty

Traditionally neo-conservative talk radio guys put on the hat of naïve realism. Yek they can alternatively wear a cynic hat with less audience share. Generally though, naïve realism is the paradigm. Trying to understand Rush Limbaugh, worthwhile since he has 20 or 30 million occasional followers, and consider why he can be so completely daft on some points and accurate on others provides insight into the power of broadcast media to mess up American democracy.

Mr. Limbaugh’s erratic analytical method tends to divide up the Republican Party into separate wings comprising the aloof upper-class globalist blue-bloods and the scientifically dumb conservative followers of Rush transforming the Republicans into the intellectual constiuency of traditional Democrat donkeys leaving the important stuff to the brains of the outfit in talk radio. In times past Republicans were regarded as the more intellectually astute party leading the way with sharp business ideas with some fat cat industrialists that surged ahead. In those times there wasn’t such a vast gap between the very rich and the very poor. Rush Limbaugh tends to take the New Republican Dumb constituency on that long, black train leading to nowhere as a generality waiting for Godot.

Surprisingly Rush made a conservative ingression into radical subjectivism standing with John Lennon in the Strawberry Fields nothing is real psychology of the Beatles classic. The kingdom of God may be experienced subjectively yet it is also founded or grounded in God. God is the objective-other as Sartre might have said, yet that pure objectivity is transcended through receiving Jesus Christ as one’s personal Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is the sole way to God. Some find a sense of realized eschatology in the concept of the kingdom of God being within Christians as an initial entry of the developing kingdom of God that will fully emerge objectively at the end of temporal history. Well, to return to Rush Limbaugh and the left’s radical subjectivism…

The left notably took a turn in the 20^th century toward subjectivism and subjective psychology. A book named The Age of Fracture described some of the American political developments of that intellectual-theoretical trend. One didn’t expect Rush Limbaugh and naïve conservative realists to take a turn toward radical epistemological subjectivism too. Yet sharing that realm of radical subjectivism with the left was possible for those that wandered through the moral relativism and ethical subjectivism required for the moral immunity to Wall Street corruption leading to the 2008 crash. Where one has a kind of epistemological-intellectual libertarianism one can apply Derrida’s objective treatment of literature to the real world regarding it as subjective and amusing.

Whereas Karl Marx applied G.W.F. Hegel’s metaphysical induction to analysis of political evolution without the theoretical-teleogical paradigm, Rush Limbaugh seems to use a Sartrian phenomenalism with a topping of Marxist dialect to produce a weltanshauuung where everything is regarded as political with politics perhaps meaning a social process of adjudicative transaction.

Limbaugh is something of a Manichean or Zoroastrian existentialist soaked in the sauce of cold war era dialectical materialism morphed to a form where it is a dialectical evolution to nowhere besides entropy and the heat death of the Universe I suppose, after yielding maximal prophets-and its al a dream.

Limbaugh’s weltanshaung shared with subjectivists of the radical left that fled there perhaps when Marxist-Stalinism lost its glint and Sartre provided the existentialist Critique of Dialectical Reason as a refuge for the philosophically challenged is reliant on the ultimate subjective nature of mass and energy and of its phenomenal nature. Science though is dedicated to the study of mass, energy and forms as well as a human being can do. Scientific results tend to approach the validity at least of that language has in publicly verifiable use. Science has produced some of the greater advances in the human condition. Applied science has relieved objective human suffering from disease. Good science can be applied with bad politics to do harm. Adolph Eichman used scientific fruit of technology and I.B.M. card readers to process Jews for extermination in the holocaust. Too many car making fossil fuels emissions generate greenhouse gasses contributing significantly to global warming causality. Science and technology produced automotive technology, bad politics want to continue to misapply it, deny any bad effects and deny any scientific capacity for objectivity. That point calls for some humor of course. I haven’t the time for that here. One can imagine Thomas Edison or Alexander Graham Bell, Albert Einstein or Isaac Newton producing political material instead of science and technology. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon were political merry pranksters and the Hiroshima bomb was just a political invention of no substance used to put Marxists in power and increase the size of government to super-enhanced. As Socrates said, the unexamined life is not worth living.

Human thinking and sentience is what distinguishes human beings from animals and even inanimate mass and energy. Human beings are organism too and simply being a happy organism isn’t really human. Human beings are sentient beings that need to think critically, rationally and objectively as possible. Man does not live by bread alone. So can science measure the atmospheric and sea surface temperature of the planet or what the atmosphere is made of-of course. Can science compare the present state of the thermal condition of the world to ages past-yes.

Human affairs of a social nature often are political.  Political-social responses to objective environmental challenges may have partisans of several sides on innumerable issues with various combinations of issues packaged occasionally so large as to comprise political party platforms. It would be just stupid though to claim that the potential for making anything a political issue negates the reality and potential for objective existence of the issue. In a sense the radical subjective epistemological theory of the left and of Rush Limbaugh too apparently denies the possibility of a democracy having any real issues to fix or respond to. Instead issues such as global warming when applied with the Limbaugh weltanshaung filter can be regarded as political illusion to support the dark side of the dialectical force and the demi-urge of doom egging on anti-Canutian political force.

Rush Limbaugh is not entirely wrong about particular political issues yet his theoretical competence is deficient to the point where he seems to be Talking Under the Influence –T.U.I. with an irrational, perhaps CO2 influenced giddiness(joking about this last point). He believes Vegetarianism or Veganism is political and doesn’t seem to be able to separate or distinguish what  the political is regarding issues and the issues for themselves. Vegetarians sometimes just don’t want to eat Bambi.

Some reincarnationists thought meat eating would consume some kindred spirit perhaps. There were religious and personal reasons for not eating animals, or eve health concerns in kosher proscriptions. Mad cow disease was caused with prions brought by feeding cattle dead cattle pieces. It required scientific objectivity to understand how the infection mechanisms worked. Even Rush Limbaugh’s artifical hearinh cochlear implants were developed with work by individuals with more than a radical subjective epistemology believing nothing is real.

It is fairly easy to misunderstand the philosophical points about epistemology that have developed since the pre-Socratics along to modern Super-String theory. Christians may have a different point of view about the nature of mass-energy in relation to spirit too, and spirit in relation to mass-energy can be regarded in different ways. Madonna the pop singer sang The Material Girl yet evolved interest in the neo-Gnostic Kabalah. Philo of Alexandria was defiantly not a naïve materialist. Even if all of thought, mind and body is made of matter (material), matter-mass-energy is itself perhaps a practico-inert substance of God presented for-others in Higgs field entanglement. For us matter is a potential practico-inert substance for reforming and manufacture that can be neither created or destroyed (generally). In the beginning there was brought into being a finite quantity of matter-energy brought or issued-spoken into the darkness when it was without form and void.

The way the Universe is today and its method of physical change in an ordered, logical paradigm within consistent characteristics of conduct including some room for uncertainty that permits a wide range of freedom of motion lets human minds experience the phenomenon of being and the objective characteristics of the Universe. Subjective and objective characteristics cohere within the phenomenon of being for humans to discover. The Universe is not just an experience of purely subjective epistemology presenting no moral or ethical concern to the rich or leftist totalitarians.

Administration Thinks Russian Military Should Back Down from Its Ukraine Border

White House and State Dept. spokespersons have spoken out against Russian military exercises in Russia near the Ukraine recently. Since Russia has been invaded from the west catastrophically several times it isn't a reasonable expectation or hope. In fact Ukrainian soldiers invaded Russia recently before returning from the cross-border excursion (see WSJ article below).

Any military build-up  in Ukraine will necessarily alarm President Putin. Ukraine was part of Russia for about a thousand years and Boris Yeltsin plied with Vodka gave it up easier than the Red Sox gave up Babe Ruth. A rivalry was created that lasted quite a while, yet of course in the case of Russia with a history of losing millions of civilian and military deaths to western invaders and with a protracted nuclear weapon threat cold war it has had little cause to trust western benevolence. Neither Russia or Israel have solid cause to trust the good intentions of their main adversary. The west has threatened Russia or invaded it for about 500 years and the Palestinian have waged war on Israel without let up for about 70 years. As in a chess game, if the Israelis give up pieces (land) to hope for a draw their opponent is disincentived to quit with nuevo advantage.

Basic reality politics seem lacking in the U.S. administration sometimes. If they were to occur with a good script for positive change written by a good writer for Reality Politics in D.C. the budget would be balanced, public debt eliminated, borders secured, full employment and ecospheric restoration renormalized and understanding of salient features of international relations and circumstances understood and acted upon to the betterment of humanity. We expect anything besides reality politics in the age of fracture. Reality itself though builds up to bite now and then.

A recent report said their are 25,000 terrorists living in the U.S.A., perhaps not including Democrat Party members, and a fifty percent increase of terrorists on Earth the past four years after all the support for community terror organizing in the absence of the Reality Political Show. Yet of course with the deconstruction of realism from politics none of that matters subjectively while the good times roll for the insiders.
